Lovely little COE campground well off the beaten path in Buckhorn Kentucky. One small loop of 31 back in sites, all on a creek or river. Side group of 5 tent sites. Black top road and pads with grass and trees in between. All sites have sturdy picnic tables, fire rings and grills. Some sites with good view for satellite reception. Verizon service good. Friendly, helpful hosts. Our rate was with Golden Age pass. We would return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice Corps of Engineers campground on Buckhorn Lake with adjacent boat ramp and recreation area. Hosts were outstanding. Of 40 sites (not counting the host site), 14 have water and electric, the rest are dry/primitive. The road in is 1 1/2 lanes for about 2 miles, with tight curves and some steep hills. Apparently very popular with local fishermen, especially on weekends. Plenty of parking inside the campground for boat trailers. No cell service and very poor TV reception. Would definitely return if we're in the area again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
