This is a small, country campground on Lake Peigneur. The owner is a retired gentleman that is very accommodating and easy to get along with. There is a pier, boat launch, and a clubhouse. Sites 13 and 17 are the best for lakeside parking. There is a dump station. The reason I rated it an 8 is because there are no restrooms or showers or sewer hookups and only 30amp electric. This is a fantastic campground for a weekend getaway on the lake. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
