Great view of MS River! Large (3"+) gravel, which made walking in campground difficult. Only 4 combo bathrooms/showers. Not enough for this large a park! Wifi only in office building. Good antenna TV reception. Drive through a sketchy neighborhood to get here, but felt safe. Would return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I have to correct some of the poor reviews this park has gotten earlier. We have been camping for 11 of the past 15 months and have stayed in a lot of RV parks east of the Mississippi, and this park is one of the nicest we've stayed in. The sites are long and wide, mostly pull-throughs, with level concrete pads and large lawn areas. Most have some view of the Mississippi River and the park is very quiet. There is a wonderful paved walking path along the river and Natchez is a five minute drive over the river. Rough neighborhood? Ridiculous, the closest neighborhood is quite a ways away and it isn't Beverly Hills, but it didn't appear unsafe to drive through to me! Dusty roads? The roads are gravel, but not as dusty as many we've seen. Wi-Fi doesn't work? Well, this was true, but we've long ago given up counting on RV park Wi-Fi to work, as they seldom do. We didn't use the showers or laundry facilities so I can't comment, but the office and all the grounds are lovely and clean. Don't hesitate to come and stay here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Excellent park to tour a remarkable area full of history or to just relax and enjoy the Mississippi River and watch the barge traffic. Friendly staff, adequate amenities. We had a large pull through with a level cement pad on the north side of the office - no wi-fi signal here. Beautiful place to return to. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park is in 2 areas; one on each side of the office. We were on the south end. The sites alternate concrete or grass parking pads and they appear to only use the grass sites as the park fills. This makes for large sites during slower times. The park is right on the river and you can watch the river traffic go by. The Wi-Fi is unpredictable and can be good or gone several times an hour. They have great laundry facilities at a very reasonable price. We would stay again because of the convenient location and great views. Don't use your GPS for directions; stay on Hwy 131 until you get to the sign for the park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice, quiet park located on the Mississippi River. The pads are cement, and there are picnic tables. Vidalia is across the river from Natchez, Mississippi. They have great tours of the historic homes and fun places to eat. Walmart is 3 miles from the park. We had a pull through spot. We would come here again and recommend this place to others. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

First the good points - Healthy "grass" mix of grass and knotgrass. Sites are long enough to keep the toad connected if desired. A mix of grass sites and concrete pads. Grass sites are firm and did not seem to pond during rains. Plenty of room between sites but no landscaping for privacy. Nice views of the river from the front row sites. At this time of year seldom was there a site used on either side of us. Small playground for children with swing and climbing tower. Each site has a picnic table. Verizon 3g good some days, some days somewhat slow. Did not try Wi-Fi here. OTA reception missing ABC. Cable has ABC but rather fuzzy on all channels. Now the Negatives. BAD potholes greet you as you enter the grounds. Manager says owner does not want to spend money to grade. Just pour in loose limestone which pounds out. Pool area had no loungers. Manager said they take them in for the winter and have not put them out yet. 85F temps now! Directions can be iffy on streets and trips. However, both routes will get you there, but better to go straight until you see the big sign. We camped here in a Motorhome.

For a resort campground we were not impressed. Roads were all limestone, very rough and dusty. Showers were very dirty, hair stuck on walls and dirt. Our sewer hookups threads were bad and sewer hose would not stay in place. Site was not level and gravel (advertised as concrete but at a higher price), no shade at sites. Pool open all year but not usable due to not being heated. Road to park is over the river levee and very rough. Wi-Fi was very weak and slow, not usable most of the time. Neighborhood near the park very run down and rough looking, heard gun shots at night. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for three nights while touring Natchez. Access to the park was easy and well marked. The road over the levee and the park roads are gravel and a bit dusty when dry. The campground is located right on the Mississippi River. We especially enjoyed watching the river traffic and the views across of the Natchez shoreline. The sites are decently spaced pull thru's with most having concrete pads. Slight leveling was required for our site. The grounds were clean and well cared for. It poured heavy rain during our stay. Our site drained well but water pooled in several areas of the roadway and the surrounding ground got a little muddy. The office staff was very friendly and helpful providing local information. The clubhouse building is newer construction, large and houses the office, laundry, showers, common area and access to an outdoor pool / hot tub. Their collection of local info rivals a visitor information center. They state WiFi is available in the clubhouse. We were able to connect from our site although the service was erratic. No cable TV and over the air reception was ok but several network channels were fringe and dropped in/out during the evening. Considering the Good Sam discount we felt the rate was high but the location is great. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice wide open park on the river across from Natchez. Very convenient for sightseeing in Natchez area. Store and laundry very nice and staff friendly. Would stay here again. Plenty of places to walk the dogs. Also a nice paved river walk. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Great location, friendly people, nice laundry room, clean and tidy. It is right on the river with great views of the barges. We would have given it a 10, but they don't have cable TV, and the super bowl was on! There is limited TV with an antenna in only one area of the park. We would have given it a 10 if there had been cable TV. We liked sites 109 and 108. We would definitely stay here again. They took Passport America or the rate would have been double. We unexpectedly stayed here one weekday night during the first week of November. It was our second stay here on our fall trip. I had to wait until now (2/13) to submit a second review due to the 90 day waiting period between reviews. The main reason I am doing a second review so close to my last review of the park is that the park has evidently finally put in a WI-FI system that can be connected to from your RV. There is now an antenna/router on the roof of the office, and we were able to connect from a site in the middle of the south part of the park. There were only a couple dozen other RVs in the park so I have no way of knowing how good this new system will be with a heavy user load. As usual, we had a FHU, pull-through site in the south section of the park. This section also has cable hookups. As noted in previous reviews the channel selection is minimal (10 channels) and not all channels come in clearly. While most sites in the south section of the park are satellite friendly, the north section is heavily treed and does not have cable. If possible, take the mile plus riverwalk path north to beyond the bridge. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Large park on river. Entrance hard to find and leads through a rough looking neighborhood. Large concrete level sites. Gravel roads are dusty. Cable TV is limited but adequate. Wi-Fi didn't work during our 5 nights and they didn't seem interested in fixing it. Lots of room to walk. Can walk along river walk to town. Should have a fenced dog run since there is so much room. Best sites are in far south end with river view - but you have to ask. We'd come again just for the setting and view. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The staff were unhelpfull and although the campsite was nearly empty they insisted in putting us in the most expensive and crowded area without offering the cheaper alternatives which we found out about later. Directions to the campsite were vague and misleading which caused me to make a tricky "u" turn down a side road. The upside is that the campsite has a lovely walk along the Mississippi River and was only a short drive from Natchez. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Crushed limestone was very dusty. Construction noise starts before daylight. Wi-Fi unusable throughout the stay. Bath and showers are clean but needing minor repairs. First of all, call for directions for the near future. The "normal" route to the park is being worked on where it crosses the levee. This is our first visit here since the flooding that closed the park last year. We stayed one weekday night in early October and had a FHU, pull through site on the south end of the park. Although the site has cable TV, it has only about 10 channels which previous reviewers have noted aren't always clear. So, we didn't even bother to hookup the cable and relied on our satellite. Most sites in the south end of the park are satellite friendly but the north side sites are well treed. We also did not try to connect to the "near the office only" WI-FI. Strangely, there was only one RV was in the north area of the park and it was in the site closest to the office (which is in the middle of the park). It is possible that the north end sites have not yet re-opened from the flooding damage. Again, the cable and WI-FI limitations preclude a higher rating. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A bit difficult to find the campground entrance (Vidalia was doing street modifications), but the small hassle was well worth it. The RV camp is on a flat bluff above the west bank of the Mississippi River, with a beautiful view of a long stretch or river. Sites are large; grass, gravel or concrete pads. Easy access with most sites pull-through. Very quiet, except for occasional river towboat (upriver will take them 15 minutes to pass by). Only 10% occupancy the night I was there. I will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is going down hill very fast. We have stayed there numerous times in the last eight years or so. The Wi-Fi has never worked except in the office and the cable TV is a joke. On our last visit the grass had not been cut and there were pot holes everywhere in the dusty roads. The biggest insult though is their rates. Passport America is almost twenty three dollars. We spent the Summer on the road, going all the way from Alabama to Washington State and this park has the highest daily rate of any place we stayed. And most everywhere we stopped had good or better Wi-Fi and full access cable TV. Someone spent lots of money developing this park with all the concrete pads and modern electrical hookups, etc. Too bad they are pricing themselves out of the business by not catering to what RV'ers now want; things like Wi-Fi, cable, no dust, and reasonable rates. The only really positive thing I can speak for were the staff. The two ladies I dealt with were very nice. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We went here for the Jim Bowie BBQ Festival held this time of year. Had a pull through site with concrete pad. Very few shady sites. Wi-Fi was totally useless as was the cable TV. All roads are gravel and full of pot holes. Had multiple campers drinking and playing loud music till 2-3 am. Complaints were useless. Park has no security and could not reach employees at night. We will not be returning to this park! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park itself was nice. Concrete parking pads on pull-throughs, lots of grass (but relativly few are shaded). Do NOT use a google search for this campground; directions take you up a 2 mile dirt two-track to a dead end with very little turn-around room.(yes I did that) Finally arrived at the campground, we just luckily stumbled onto another sign and found it, The lady at the desk said we did not have a reservation even after I told her the date, time and assigned site number...she later remembered that she had talked with me. Yes they have cable TV available in part of the park, all five channels (three of which were without sound) and WI-FI that was periodic even though we were only about 60 feet from the office building. We most likely will not return to this park just because of the help there. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The facilities are good, but this is not a resort. We stayed here 7 years ago and liked it, so chose this park again for two days. They have a new policy however: an RV with 50A connections MUST use a 50A site, for which the customer is charged an unjustifiable $5.00 extra per day, plus tax. The daily rate indicated includes the 50A charge and taxes and reflects one day with Passport America and one day with AAA discounts. I will not do business with them again. Love the park when everything is working; however, this trip was better than our last at this park. At least the main gate is open now and you don't have to go to the back south entrance. Cable did not work well; Wi-Fi was so-so; hot tub still not working; pool was nice except for the sprays of water that come out of all the walls of the pool; hard to relax in the pool with sprays of water hitting you in the face. They said it keeps the water cool. I think a timer on it would be well worth it. Did not use laundry or restrooms. Passport America price. My biggest drawback was tiny needle type stickers in the park grounds that would stick to our dog's paws (extremely painful). Don't know if we'll be back here because of that, unless its just certain times of the year these little devils come out from the trees and fall to the ground. If you have a pet, beware of these. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful setting on banks of the Mississippi. They have a river walkway and you can watch the tugs and barges. Staff is extremely pleasant and helpful regarding local attractions. Great place to base while exploring the Natchez area - we stayed two nights. All hook ups worked well and laundry very clean. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is nicely located for seeing all the sites in Natchez, MS. It's just across the Mississippi river bridge on the LA side of the river. The park overlooks the river, but does require driving through an older rather rundown neighborhood to find the entrance. Some major construction work is taking place at the main entrance. It was a bit dusty. The staff was friendly and helpful. The laundry facilities were very nice and the machines looked new. The cost was $2.50 per load so we didn't use them. The bathrooms were individual, clean, and nice. The main complaint about this Park is the Wi-Fi. Even though we requested a site near the office for good signal, it was pretty much worthless. We were forced to use our Verizon hotspot. The cable had only 10 channels but the reception was fine. We would stay here again if in the area because of the convenient location. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Gorgeous location overlooking the Mississippi river, in a quiet park like setting, gravel road, level concrete pads, full hook ups, 50amp which you have to pay $5 extra for a day, pull thrus, big rig access, lots of space around the RV, wonderful view of the river however there is a small berm so not all the sites can see the river, shade trees, grass between sites, picnic tables, adequate bathrooms, laundry open 24/7, garbage collected daily from your site, WiFi good, a lovely riverfront walkway and always something to watch on the river, lots of restaurants and sightseeing close by. This is the second time we have stayed here, it seems to be more neglected than we remember it following the floods of last year, overall needs some TLC, roads need more gravel, bathrooms need a coat of paint, place is looking well used, difficult to justify the price paid now. Major work is being done on the levee behind the c/g which makes for a lot of dust and noise, un hook your towed before you enter the c/g. However the location and river view are wonderful and we would probably stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

However we were told we would have a river view site only you could not see river because of the berm that is built up around the water. You basically had to walk up the berm to see the river. Nice clean park along Mississippi River. Fairly quiet except when huge tows are on river then a low rumble echos over the park. Not disturbing but a sound of power. Wi-Fi limited to area near office. Nice place to stay for a few days in Natchez. Don't miss Frogmore--great little site that tells story of an 1850's cotton plantation. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy access off highway 84 and just a mile from Natchez which is a great town to explore. Campground was great: nice wide sites, very clean, 50 amp and pull throughs. Couldn't have asked for more and we also had a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. Really do like the park when everything is working. 1) Main entrance blocked due to repairs on levee; had to come in the back way; 2) Speed limit 5 mph (how do they expect you to pull a rig going 5 mph; most parks are 10 mph; we are all responsible adults; we know to look out for children or anyone else or thing in the road.); 3) The web site states Hot Tub (beware not working) 4) The web site states free Wi-Fi (not working). Some people need internet to keep up with their jobs away from home; they depend on this; 5) The web site states Free Cable (not working) 6). The web site states Free Shuttle to casino(beware: not true) 7) Chalets are being put up the south end: meaning a more crowded park. All in all it was a pretty stressful weekend. I think the park should give discounts for the inconvenience of their guests. For the price they charge, $5 wouldn't break them. I do like the wide sites, especially ones facing the Mississippi. Very nice staff; I guess its not their fault for false advertising on their web site. This is our second trip here; the first one a year ago was an A+. Hot tub wasn't working then either; but I still like the park; it was just very inconvenient going from the south end of the park at 5 mph and traveling all the way to the north end to get out of the park. Also, at night, it is very hard to see the extreme turn in the street across from the office with no lighting. They need lights at the two corner turns. Enjoy your camping! This is a beautiful park and the river views are spectacular. Hookups and site are quite adequate. They are still struggling with the effects of the flood of May, 2011. Levee repairs create a lot of dust, and the gravel roads add to it. Once the trucks are gone and Wi-Fi and cable are added it will be a first rate park. The folks in the office are very helpful. River sites 107-111. They are quite aways from river. View and river walk are nice, but sites were not mowed or weeded at that end of park. Mowed around office and other side of park. Easy access from all directions and large check-in area with a very nice office/laundry/swimming facility. Nice and informative hosts got me checked in quickly. Concrete at great site was covered in dirt that would become a muddy mess during even light rains. Requested another site and they obliged with apologies. Park had just recently reopened after area floods and there were not many other campers throughout the week. Park has well maintained gravel roads and sites are level concrete pads. All hookups are arranged as they should be and work as they should. View of the river was nice allowing an ever changing landscape of river boats and barges. Holiday fireworks could be seen well from the office end of the park. Vidalia had a Super Wal-Mart (what else do you need?). Historic Natchez has it then and more and is just across the river in neighboring Mississippi. Will definitely stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

When we stayed at the park, they were just reopening from the flood. We stayed in site 11 in the north end. The Wi-Fi was down as the tower was destroyed in the flood. The river walk was open along the river by the park. This is a nice park to stay in while in the Nachez area. The pool is the only family activity I saw, and it had not been reopened. Access to the park is clearly marked on US84 from the west. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Gorgeous location, very well maintained in a park like setting with level sites, picnic tables and plenty of space around the RV: lots of trees and grass. Very quiet and overlooking the Mississippi river. Clean restrooms, excellent laundry open 24/7. Garbage collected from your site each morning. As always, we enjoyed our stay. The paved walk along the river got us out everyday to do our exercise, and a visit to the nice new coffee shop next to the Comfort Inn was our reward for the effort. Antenna was better for local TV channels than the cable which had limited channels. Bird watching was very good along the water and in the trees bordering the park. Our site was considered a "prime" spot and had a wonderful view of the barges going by. The club house is well supplied with brochures and menus to local restaurants and attractions. We look forward to coming back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a gem on the Mississippi River across from Natchez. You can sit and watch the barges go by and enjoy a quiet park. Very friendly and clean. Loved the park and office staff very friendly. I rated it a 9 because it said pool and hot tub; all very nice, but hot tub was not running. Really wanted to go in because of the cool weather. Also, it said shuttle service to casino which we did not use because after inquiring at the Isle of Capri boat, they said they did not have a shuttle to the RV Park, that it was stopped; however, the office staff insisted that they did have one and gave us the phone number but didn't use it in fear of maybe not being picked up at night. Anyway, all in all was very good and relaxing 2 night stay. Had a river view site. Very level concrete pad. Had no problems with Wi-Fi and antenna on our TV picked up enough channels for us. Garbage was picked up every morning by staff at park. All hook-ups were good; we had a 30 amp camper and pull-through site, lots of room between campers. Wind was very strong during this time of the year and being next to the river. Would definitely stay here again but no gambling; will do more site-seeing next time in the beautiful Natchez, MS, only across the river from the park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This beautiful park is now one of our favorites. The location right on the Mississippi River with views from all sites is rated a 20. The showers are older but spotlessly clean. The laundry is nice with commercial machines. The office staff is wonderful and very helpful. The only negatives, poor Wi-Fi except at the office, no cable except limited with antennae, and gravel roads that cause dust with heavy traffic. The River Walk is gorgeous. We will definitely return. This is the Passport America rate-normally $44/night, which is also the annual Passport membership fee, so we got a good deal, since we stayed 3 nights. The road to this campground goes through a depressed area, but it's well worth it. We were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves right on the banks of the Mississippi River, with a great view of the barges that float by day and night. There is a walkway along the river as well. Bathrooms are old, but well set up and clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Nice laundry area. Convenient location right across the river from Natchez MS. This park is almost perfect. The staff and facilities are top notch and the only reason it is not perfect was due to poor cable TV and the reception with the antenna faded at times. The laundry facilities were immaculate and a huge open area within the office that could be a great gathering place. The view along the Mississippi River was great and there is a mile long walkway right on the top of the levee that was lovely. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Enjoyed the stay. Very nice river walk. Sites are very spacious. Right across the river from Natchez, MS. which offers a lot of history and tourist activities. Natchez visitor center is right across the bridge on the MS side. You have to bring your own fire pit if you want a campfire on your site. Nice park. We arrived after 5 and the staff told us to settle up the next morning and directed us to one of the back-in sites (our trailer is less than 20') since they were near the main building with the restroom facilities. Restrooms were clean and warm - 4 individual toilet/shower facilities. The laundry room appeared clean although we had no need. Trash pick up was at the site. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. There is TV reception on one side of the park but we were parked on the other side as we had no need. The river walk was an added bonus. This is an excellent campground overlooking the Mississippi River. We were able to sit in our RV and watch the tugs push barges up and down the river. The Vidalia Landing River Walk is very nice. Sites are level, although very close together. Except for a few gravel back-in sites, all are pull-throughs. The shower rooms are old, but clean and very functional. The campground has good Wi-Fi, and cable (although we did not hook up to the cable). Discounts include Passport America (50%), Escapees (15%), and Good Sam (10%). We camped here in a Motorhome.

My husband and myself along with our two little dogs, stayed here for the first time in November 2009 for our anniversary and was very pleased with the campground. So for our anniversary this year we decided to return again to the park. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This park is very clean, the lots are are very spacious, concrete, with lights on your electric boxes with the lot number very clear which help when you arrive late. i don't think there is a bad place to park, since most all lots have a view of the Mississippi river. Some lots though are better than others but well worth staying there. There is a concrete sidewalk along the river with benches, and well lit for night walks along the river. This sidewalk connect the park to Vidalia community center, which is good and bad, during our stay it was all decorated for Christmas, and the only bad thing with the park, is the fact that it is not very secure and anyone can enter the park either from the river walk or the main entrance. Each lot has a nice grass area with picnic table. The park is close to many shops and places to eat. Great place to walk dogs if you travel with dogs. If I had to change anything about the park would be securing the entrance to the park both from the main entrance and the river walk, and having the sidewalk to continue to the far end of the property. It is a great place to stay. We have already made plans to return to the park again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Rate is PPA. This is our third stay here in the past year or so and we managed to get a site on the south side of the park to get the cable TV. I certainly understand the recent comments that complain about the poor cable TV: both the quality of the reception (several listed channels did not come in) and quantity (there were only about 10 channels listed on their handout). They really need to upgrade their cable system. Most sites appear to be satellite friendly. We also could not get WiFi at our site about 100+ yards south of the office. Their handout states that WiFi is available in the office. I still enjoy the river walk from the park to north of the bridge over the Mississippi. I also finally got to use their nice pool. The park is nice and well kept. The roads are gravel and SOME sites have concrete pads. The site without concrete are on the grass and when stuffed in between the concrete sites, things can get a little tight. There are a few trees but not enough to provide a lot of shade or to interfere with your satellite. The office is neat and the staff is friendly. The park's Wi-Fi was fine and cell phone service was good. The pool area looked clean and neat. Not sure if all of the Louisiana parks charge the same taxes but at this park you will pay: 1) Occupancy tax 2) Vidalia City tax 3) Hospital tax 4) School board tax 5) LA State tax Just keep in mind that these taxes will add an additional 20%+ to your bill. Number one they do not have cable - if you do not have a dish use your antenna & set to TV and you might get six stations. No one in the park seems to know this because if you connect cable you will only get FX! Pool is freezing and hot tub is iffy. We stayed at this park two nights and were parked right in front of the Mississippi River which was our goal but front desk never mentioned that convicts would be sent in to mow right next to our site. We had just hooked up when here they came and since the grass was mostly dead dust billowed all around as the tractor mowers zoomed. We like the idea of city using convicts for maintenance but wish we would have been told. I called front desk and the woman said they never know when these guys will be brought in. She said we could move but it was 100 degrees so we stayed put. The next day county sprayed and it shot into the air and covered our rig. No warning about that either. This park has two sides and we should have asked for the south portion had we known about the trees over there and cemented river walk that we didn't have. It is an easy access park, level cement slabs and free cable TV. We recommend it but heads up what to ask because the front desk just runs the cash register and offers no suggestions. The pool/hot tub were immaculate. The sites were clean, but not much shade available on southside. Riverwalk is cool. Staff is friendly and offer Passport America if on a 3 night stay. It's about $80 and includes your 3 night rate, there's a savings of $40. And the membership is for a full year. The pads are good, the grounds are nicely kept. It's a big park, so watering lawns isn't something they do. 50 amps are extra ($5 extra per day). They say Wi-Fi is available in and around the building, they do not say at your site, because most sites can't reach it. But in and around the building, free Wi-Fi is good. One problem though, they say they offer cable TV. Well, if you want to call 3 channels (NBC from New York, FX and some dumb shopping channel) free cable TV, but it's a shame though. Don't say you offer something that you really don't. Either get proper cable TV or get rid of it. Yeah, we would stay here again, but I am really glad we have our own satellite and Wi-Fi. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is not worth $55 a night. The sites are semi level concrete with brown dead grass on both sides. Nothing fancy. The staff is friendly, but they tried to sell me a club membership for $100 when I checked in. Hate sales people. They charge you extra for 50 amp and site location. We were impressed enough with this park last fall to stop here again on this trip. I agree with most of the positive comments by previous reviewers: especially concerning the nice walkway along the river. We were in the north section of the park, maybe 150 yards from the office, and had no problems with the WiFi. The park was not very crowded. Unfortunately, when making our reservation, we made such a big deal about getting a satellite friendly site that we forgot to say we still wanted cable (for the local network channels). Until I set up, I did not realize that the northern section of the park does not have cable. My mistake - no fault of the park. As with last fall, it was a tad too cool to use the pool. I generally concur with the previous posters. This is a good park. However, the WiFi is extremely spotty. It may work well near the main building (I don't know), but it certainly does not further away. To be told at reception that, "If it doesn't work so well you can come up to the laundry and get good reception" shows they know it is bad in places, and this is frankly unacceptable. RV parks, especially those who deign to be "resorts," need to grasp that this is 2010. Decent in-coach WiFi everywhere in the CG is no longer a luxury but a necessity for more and more of their customers, and they need to do what is necessary to provide it. This is probably one of the nicest parks we have ever stayed in. Right on the Mississippi where one can sit and watch the barges chug up and down the river. A short drive will take you to Natchez where you can soak up all the history of the area. The path along the shore of the river was underwater during our visit due to high water levels, but in no way did it threaten the campground. The facilities were outstanding, in particular the private cubicles with toilet and shower. The only negative comment I can make has to do with the gravel surface of the roadways within the park which has to be the crunchiest stuff anywhere. No such thing as driving around quietly here. We will make it a point to stay here when travelling throughout the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

What a great park in a great location. We were disappointed not being able to find a park in Natchez but finding this gem right across the Mississippi river was like hitting the jackpot. The interior gravel roads are rough and there's no cable but that's little competition for all the positives. Just seeing the tugs and barges glide by is worth the price. The store, laundry, and bath rooms were spotless. The grounds were more natural than manicured but well kept. A five minute drive puts you at the Natchez Visitor Center and starting point for touring many Historic Houses. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is our favorite campground when visiting Natchez, which is directly across the river, about a 2 minute drive. We camp at this campground 2-3 times a year and have always been very pleased with the staff and campsites. Gravel roads with paved sites, nice view of the Mississippi River from some sites, very nice river walk. It's always very windy here so we often can't keep our awnings out, and there is very little shade in the park around the campsites. Lots to do in Natchez. Camped here for the Balloon Festival in October but it was too windy for the balloons to race, which is not unusual for this festival. Great campground though. Kids love the pool and playground. After years of by-passing this park, we decided to stay here. Unfortunately is was unusually cool (not to mention cloudy with some rain) for early October. Thus, we didn't get to use what appeared to be a nice pool. Although I didn't get a chance to view the entire park, it appears from the park map that all sites are full hookup and pull-thru. Most sites appear to be satellite friendly. We were in the larger, southern section of the park which only had a couple dozen RVs and about 100 unoccupied sites. That may be the reason we had no problems with the Wi-Fi. The paved Riverfront Walkway from the south end of the park to just north of the US 65/84 bridge over the Mississippi is a little over a mile. There are numerous benches and informative signs along the walk. There is nothing to impede your view of the river which is no more than 50 feet east of the path. There are also several public buildings just west of the path. I am not sure that this park would be as pleasant if the majority of the 170 sites were occupied. I would consider this for multi-day stay if it were not too crowded. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I'm not sure why you would grade down this park. The sites were level, the roads just fine and the people in the office were very helpful. We came in without reservation and they had two large rallies in here and still found us a spot for the passport rate. The ladies in the office not only gave us suggestions on site seeing and restaurants, but gave me directions on how to avoid heavy traffic when leaving. We got great service and had a good view of the river and watched the barge traffic. The cable TV was adequate, however, the Wi-Fi was weak, but they were working on that. This park is just OK. The only thing it really has going for it is that it is on the Mississippi River but the closest sites are almost 200 feet away. The rate reflects Passport America so they are expensive for what you get. They also charge $5 a night for 50 amp and taxes are 13.44%. There were only about 10 rigs on our side of about 80 sites and they put arriving rigs way down from the office and restrooms. Interior roads are gravel, pads are concrete but short for being pull-through sites. We will not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall this is a very nice park. Right on the river, just over the bridge from downtown Natchez, MS. It was very clean and quiet. We were there during a fairly slow time, but the spaces are rather close together, and it could get crowded when busy. Nice riverwalk, recreation room, store and pool, all clean and well stocked. The only item we found odd was that there is no staff in the park after the office closes. So if something is wrong, such as a power failure, you're pretty much on your own until morning. The local police department does cruise through the park occasionally. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice park, right on MS river. Friendly staff, nicely stocked little store. The roads leading to sites is gravel and somewhat dusty but not too bad. Some sites are concrete; some are grass, all are nice. Some are very shady and some are in sun (which will be good for winter trips). Easy access to Natchez, MS where there is great historic places to visit. Would recommend "Cock of the Walk" restaurant in Natchez and be sure to visit the little shop next door. All in all great CG. My only complaint is that the pool is too small for the park. Everything else is really nice and pleasant. I would recommend this CG. There is also a "riverwalk" that is nice for night strolls. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Rate is weekly rate. The campground has a lot going for it, primarily its spectacular location on the Mississippi River. There is a paved walking path along the river to the bridge over the river. But improvements are needed in several areas. Cable should be provided to all sites, not just some, and should be included in the already too-high rates. Booster antennas and/or a better Wi-Fi system is sorely needed. Although we were fairly close to the office, we were never able to hook up to the system during our two week stay there. Fortunately, we had a Sprint Aircard to use, but the connection was very slow. As others have mentioned, the large-size gravel driveways are terribly rough and noisy. If a vehicle drives by your site at 6:00 a.m., as they do most mornings, I can guarantee that you will be awakened. Most sites are not shaded, although we were fortunate enough to have shade at our site. The washers and dryers are expensive and there aren't enough of them. Although we didn't use them, it seems that four self-enclosed bathrooms are insufficient for this very large campground. Natchez, just across the river, is a very nice city to explore. We enjoyed the charming downtown and visiting the antebellum homes Longwood and Stanton. We did not like the Cock of the Walk restaurant, either the depressing interior, the rushed service or the mediocre (at best) food. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

My wife and I stayed there in the middle of the week in one of the hottest periods of the year. We did have partial shade from the sun. The pool was great for the fact that it was four feet deep. All sites were graveled with their own picnic tables. The four restrooms and showers were very clean. You could walk to the first levee and watch towboats gping up and down the Mississippi River. Rate is a Passport America rate. Popular park right on the Mississippi River. Packed gravel roads lead to sites that are level, spacious paved pull-thrus with plenty of room for RV and towee or toad. Pool, hot tub, bathrooms and laundry clean. Laundry is a bit expensive but they are double and triple- load washers. They do need to put in some regular single-load ones. Internet connection is “iffy” but there is a computer in the lodge room. We enjoyed watching the barges go up and down the river. You can walk along a paved walkway all the way from the campground to the convention center under the bridges. Town of Vidalia doesn’t have a lot to offer but a short drive across the bridge takes you to Natchez, MS with it’s many pre-Civil War mansions and estates. We would most definitely recommend this park and would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

It is quiet, conveniently located for access to Natchez sightseeing, and we really enjoyed watching the barge traffic on the Mississippi River. The Wi-Fi in our section was down due to high water where the booster is located. Lower section of the park does get flooding when the Mississippi is high; no danger to RV sites! Very nice park that is right on the river. Most of the sites are paved pull throughs with grass in between. Plenty of areas to walk including a beautiful walkway right along the river. Staff is very helpful, we had a problem with our 50 amp breaker and someone was there in 5 minutes to fix it. Only negative is that the interior roads could use some work. Nice place for some R&R. This was our second visit. We had a weekly rate (Good Sam) which was 6 nights with 1 night free! It's a very nice park with a great view of the Mississippi from the front row. I was annoyed by the fact that I requested a front row (river view)site but was told they were all booked. During our stay sites were continually opening and transients in and out. I booked a month in advance for two weeks. Not again! Gravel roads were very dusty. Police patrolled frequently which is at first comforting then begins to be worrisome. This is a great park. We stayed 4 nights. The river was a pleasure to see. There is a lovely concrete walkway that goes along the river a great distance. Loved staying at this park on the River! This clean, well-maintained park has several perks ... paved sites with grass on sides, almost all pull-thrus, picnic table, trash pick-up daily, pool and spa, and terrific staff. Sites are not too close together. Appreciated having a free computer with internet in the clubhouse for guests' use; needed it when our Verizon "wi-fi air card" got no reception here. Outstanding clubhouse, with separate facilities for rally groups. Well-stocked store. Used camping club discount so price was great. We were lucky to get into this park due to refugees from Hurricane Ike. Lady in the office was able to get us a spot. Really appreciated this. Cable TV only had 6 or 7 stations. This is our third time staying at this campground, and like the previous two, it was a very pleasant experience. The park is very clean, the pool area and bath houses are kept up very nicely and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The only negative would be the lack of shaded sites and the crushed limestone access roads. Ok, the trees would take a long time to grow, but the roads? They are difficult to walk or ride your bike on, noisy and dusty. This campground would get a "10" if it weren't for the roads. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

The staff was very friendly on arrival. When I called to make the reservation, I was asked if we had any discount cards, specifically Passport America. We do have PA, and when we checked in we were given 2 nights at the PA rate, and the 3rd at the Escapee discount rate, a pleasant surprise. The south half is still closed due to flooding but the north half was open with lots of available sites. At least half of the sites are satellite friendly, but the free WiFi isn't very usable away from the office. During the first night, we have torrential rains and thunderstorms, but the power never dropped out and the water was drained off by morning. The views of the river are great from every site. Very convenient to Natchez. We would stay here again and will recommend it to our friends. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Riverview is right. You are right on the Mississippi. While we were there the river was in flood stage. It had crested but one side of the park was under water. There was no sewer, laundry, or dump station due to the river at flood. The roads were gravel, the pads concrete. The "club house was great, the staff was great. The bugs were tough. The staff fogged for them but the problem was caused by the flooded river. I would stay there again in a "New York minute" We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice park in a great location. Unfortunately, the Mississippi was flooding during our stay. The sewer system had begun leaking the day before and had been shut down, so no full hook ups, no showers, & no laundry available. Clean port-a-potties had been brought in. The management tried to contact us, but we were already in route. We did get a 15% discount due to the limited facilities. We were put in the north end of the park due to flooding in the south end. It looked like the RV sites in the south end were the premium sites. I note they are the ones that have cable. The staff was friendly. Wifi was available from our site since it was near the office. There is a nice lighted walk along the river all the way to the Natchez highway bridge. The river was lapping at its edge. Too bad. Under different circumstances, this would be quite a nice park. I recommend it for visiting the historic Natchez area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Riverview RV Park is one of our favorite parks. It sits right on the Mississippi River across from Natchez, Mississippi. You can see tow boats pushing barges up and down the river from your RV. The campground sits about 1 mile south of the Mississippi River bridge that crosses over to Natchez. The city of Vidalia has built a lovely park along the river that stretches from the bridge down to the campground. This is a wonderful place for a walk along the river. Our dog especially enjoyed walking there. Most of the campground sites are on level concrete pads. All have 30 or 50 amp service. The sites south of the office have cable hook ups although there is a very limited selection of channels. Free Wi-fi is available in the office and can be picked up by a few sites closest to the office. The interior roads are slate gravel which can produce gray dust when the area is dry. The office has a very clean but small laundry with 3 oversize washers (2 @ $2.50/load and 1 at $3.50). There are 4 dryers @ 7-8 minutes per quarter. The individual bathrooms with showers are very clean. The staff is outstanding - very friendly and helpful. By all means tour some of the antebellum homes in Natchez such as Rosalie, Melrose and especially Longwood. We enjoyed attending the Vidalia Presbyterian Church. The folks in this small historic church were very warm and friendly. Ask about the story of its being moved in 1930. Dr Gregg and the staff at Gregg Veterinary service were wonderful in caring for our pet while in Vidalia. Likewise Dr Gregg and the staff at Gregg Dentistry (The two Dr Gregg’s are brothers.) were wonderful when I had a dental emergency. We enjoyed pizza and other food from Sonny’s Pizza, the hamburgers from Jerry’s, country food and friendly service at Nikki’s, the BBQ at the Pig Out Inn and an excellent dinner at the Pearl Street Pasta . We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice campground that can be either a short stay, or destination campground. The sites are all concrete and the roads are gravel. The gravel roads are the one negative for this campground. The gravel is large and sharp and makes a poor walking surface for people and dogs. Hookups are good. The cable TV has only a few channels. Wifi is available for part of the campground close to the office/clubhouse. The wifi in the office/clubhouse is excellent. Pretty nice CG. Most sites alternate between concrete pad and grass. When we were here, few chose the grass so there was plenty of space between sites. If there were RVs on the grass next to us, the sites would be pretty close. Sites were level and easy to get in. Roads were the heavy (sharp) gravel, with some pot holes. Park was clean and essentially well kept up. There were burrs most everywhere (including the pet runs) so Fido didn't much like that. You could see the river traffic from sites around 100 to 112. Park was in a slightly seedy area, but we didn't feel any security menace. No highway noise, but there was some kind of a processing plant nearby that produces a low "moaning" sound (ie: a blower), somewhat annoying at night. Cable TV had only 8 channels. WiFi was spotty, but of course, better buy the office. There was nothing to do in Vidalia, but Natchez was just across the river with much more to see. We would come back if the opportunity arose. Pull through sites are concrete surfaced and long enough to accommodate tow vehicle without unhooking. Wi-Fi is reported weak however we had no trouble half way down the row from the clubhouse. Grass all around the sites and an easy walk to the river edge to view the barge traffic. Cable TV has very limited number of channels, however lack of trees allowed easy satellite antenna lock-on. Stayed 4 nights and had a great time. The park is well run and clean. The water, sewer, electric, and cable TV connections were easy and worked well. There aren't a lot of channels provided on the cable TV. Almost all sites are pull through and large enough for a camper or motor home and 1 vehicle. There are no trash cans in the park so you put your trash bags out each morning and the park staff drive around and picks them up. The pool looked well maintained but I didn't swim on this visit. WiFi internet only works on the spaces closest to the office so you might plan on taking a laptop computer and sit around the pool. The river walk is well lit and everyone I met along the river was friendly. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Just an update for 2007. I strongly agree with all previous positive comments and view the negative ones as overly subjective and just a bit picky. Can’t comment on the reservation process as we arrived without one. The clubhouse is the best I’ve ever seen: lots of space, info brochures, computer with internet and printer, strong WIFI, big cable TV, comfortable new furniture, fridge, free coffee and great staff. The other big draw is the spotless rest rooms: each of the four of them is good-sized and just like home, with your own shower, toilet, sink etc. The only reason I can’t give it a 10 is that there are no picnic tables on the sites, causing one to kneel before the portable barbeque god to make dinner. Rate shown is for Passport America; Good Sam rate is $ 29 and regular rate is $ 33 (taxes included.) Highly recommended to all who visit this fun area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great park! We loved the hot tub and swimming pool that provided a view of the boats going down the Mississippi. The playground was excellent, and my little girl could not stay out of it the entire weekend! Overall I highly recommend this campground! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Both office and outside staff were helpful and very friendly. One of the park owners came by our site to see if everything was ok. Park is well laid out with spacious sites some with concrete slabs. Swimming pool was very clean as was the bath houses. Tv reception was weak at best. Park was quite with mostly adults as guest. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We were very impressed with the overall cleanliness of the park, office and pool area. I found the staff to be very courteous and helpful. However, I was very disappointed with the reservation process. I called at least two weeks in advance to make reservations and requested a shady site. The lady informed me that site #42 was very shady (although it turned out not to be) and that it was a concrete pull-through with complete hookups. The day after completing the reservations I stumbled across the rv review website and noticed that customers had encountered problems with their reserved site being changed. I immediately called River View and spoke to the same attendant and voiced my concerns about being changed and she informed me that she wrote "do not move" next to my reservation. When we arrived I was told that we would be on site #40-B, a grass site that had no sewer. I informed the attendant that I had site #42 reserved and asked why I had been moved. Her only answer was that they had made a mistake. I have NEVER had this problem before at any other park but it seems to be a recurring one at River View. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Not a bad campground but could easily be a great campground. The positives are big and well-maintained bathhouses, nice big pool and hot tub, really nice clubhouse and camp store. It also has a great view of the river and a smooth, well-lit walkway along the river that goes all the way into the town of Vidalia. Negatives are very few shady sites and the crushed rock roads are loud and dusty. Paving the roads would go a long way in making this a great campground. Will camp here again, just not in the summer, too hot and dusty. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

We stayed a weekend here, and it was ok. After we called and made reservations and were able to get a "riverfront" site, I looked at the reviews here and noticed that one of the complaints was that they would move you to a different site. So I called the next morning and asked not to be moved, even if I needed to go ahead and pay in advance for the site. I was told that they would mark "do not move" by our reservation. Well when we arrived, guess what, they had moved us. And the site was really no different, it was 110 instead of 105, but it was just the principal of the thing. I just like for people to keep their word! After reading the reviews on this site, we were under the impression that you could ride bikes on the RiverWalk. Well, there is a big sign, No Bikes, No skates, No skateboards. So if your family is into biking and skating, this is not the campground for you. The roads are the real big gray gravel, that is not fun to ride bikes in. The Riverwalk is a beautiful walking trail, and the pool and hot tub were very nice. We enjoyed the history of Natchez, and the food. But we probably won't be returning to this campground. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We love the park and have been there twice a year for the past 4 years. It is conveniant for visiting my wife's family. But the last time we were there the rates had gone up to over 30 dollars for the river view sites which was an increase of 6 dollars from the last time we were there and like some others have posted the wifi is poor and the cable TV is terrible for a park that size. For what you pay now the services need to improve. I was very disappointed. Other parks that charge what they are now charging provide better services. We will probably continue going there because there is not another place in the area as close as it is for our requirements. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We had two sites, with 60' level concrete pads. I agree with the positive comments already listed. I would have rated it higher if it had free WiFi and paved roads. The interior roads in our area were very deep loose gravel, but caused no problem. It is in a perfect location for those visiting the area. We will return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

One of the best parks we have stayed in. Big sites. On the banks of the Mississippi River.
We could watch barges being pushed up and down the river from our site. DSL connection on the lodge. They are a Passport America park, so our cost was
$13.59/night, including tax. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We evacuated to River View RV Park in Vidalia, La. for Hurricane Rita. We had never been there before. We found it in the Trailer Life Campground Book. The folks there were absolutely wonderful to us. The campground was totally booked with every overflow space available also filled. The staff kept the club house open all night for several nights; they went out and got sandwiches, doughnuts, coffee, games for the kids, anything they thought we might need as hundreds of us sat around watching Hurricane Rita tear up our community. The staff was so compassionate and helpful, yet very professional. By the way, the campground was beautiful & the area was very interesting. When all of the clean-up is finally done, we will definitely be going back to River View RV Park for a "real vacation"! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very inviting place to stay. Friendly and helpful employees. Restrooms and showers are very clean. Close to downtown Natchez and many historical sites. Campsites are clearly marked, and clean. Peaceful atmosphere always with a wonderful view of the Mississippi river. This park gets an A+ in my book. I will be a return visitor and I recommend this park to anyone whether staying for a night or for a week. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a fantastic campground to stay in if you want to see the sights in Natchez, Mississippi. It is so convenient! It is located in Vidalia right at the foot of the Mississippi River Bridge which connects to downtown Natchez. You just hop on the bridge, drive about 30 seconds, and then turn left into the parking lot for the Natchez Visitors Center. You can easily access all the sites in Natchez in under 10 minutes. Regarding the campground, the sites are level and paved and the interior roads are gravel. There are large grassy areas between the sites and the Mississippi River for the kids to play on. There is an extremely nice 2 mile paved riverwalk which takes you from the campground, along the river, and under the bridge. It's great for an evening stroll, a morning jog, or for skating or riding bikes. There are not many mature trees, though. The campground was very clean, there is trash pick-up every morning, there are lots of friendly employees, and a nice pool with a large covered area. Overall, it is very picturesque, and you can tell Vidalia is proud of the campground and the Riverwalk. As far as Natchez goes, we just had a great trip with two families and kids ranging from 5 to 14. We did the guided bus tour and movie at the visitors' center. We enjoyed an afternoon snack of tamales, nachos and delicious margaritas at Fat Mama's Tamales which I think was on Canal. We toured one of the antebellum homes, Melrose, and the kids were enthralled. Our favorite memory was, by far, dinner at the King's Tavern on Jefferson St. in Natchez. The King's Tavern is supposedly the oldest building in Natchez, and, perhaps, in Mississippi. It has a reputation for being haunted and for having fantastic prime rib! If you have a large group, request the private dining room upstairs. Our waiter, Tom, entertained the kids with lots of stories about the history of the building and the city. At the end of the meal, we were able to tour the various historical features of the restaurant. The kids loved it and the food was well priced and delicious. I would have given the campground a 10 if it had cable. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A superb RV Park. Very well-planned. Easily accessed sites, big rig friendly, very accommodating people, and really a great place with a great view of the Mississippi River. I would have given it a 10 but, although most sites are paved, the roads are gravel and are very dusty. Overall however, a great place. If you ask for Sites 100 and higher you will get a better view of the Mississippi. We camped here in a Motorhome.

After reading all the great reviews before this, I was really expecting a very special CG. But I will say I was sadly disappointed in quite a few ways. 1. I called over six weeks ahead, requested and was assigned a concrete pull through site. But when I arrived at 1 pm on Sunday afternoon the office was closed. They had posted a list of campsites and I was given a grass site that was very unlevel. Apparently they moved me for a rally that was coming in the next night. Later, when I went to check in, office lady did offer to move me to a site back by the dumpster, which by the way was full to the brim and trash scattered all around the base. I said no thanks and kept the grass site. She said a "new" person had made my reservation and should have put "do not move" by my name. So beware what you are told might not be what you end up with. One other note there are about 35% grass sites and 65% concrete in the south section. The north side was closed for some sewer repairs and was not being used at this time. 2. The general upkeep of the grounds needs some attention, besides the aforementioned trash around the dumpster, there are quite a few tree limbs overhanging the road and that made it difficult to manuver my 38' Motorhome without scraping some branches. Also the grass was very tall and looked like it had not been cut in well over a month. 3. The roads are a made of large gravel that is uneven and rough. In certain areas it is very hard to walk and nearly impossible if not dangerous to ride a bicycle on. However the good news is the pool was beautiful, and the check in area and restrooms were also very nice. Extremely quiet park with no road noise. The town of Natchez: it's friendly people, wonderful food, the Natchez Trace, and the view of the Misissippi river, however rate a 10+. So I had to settle for an overall 7 on my rating. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We loved the riverfront location of this park. Watching the barges travel up and down the Mississippi river was the best part of our stay. We also enjoyed a tour of antebellum homes in Natchez, MS across the river. The restrooms/showers in the park were clean, private and heated. One complaint - the Passport America website says they honor one night in March, when I called to make the reservation I was told that Passport America would be good for one night but when we checked in we were told that Passport America is not honored in March. Not very much money involved but rather annoying nonetheless. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park is on banks of Mississippi river, great view. Park is new and very clean. Roads are gravel and most sites are cement. Playground equipment for kids, nice pool, and day room. Sites are on 45 deg. to road. Staff was nice at check in. Cable TV on south end of park only. Natchez, MS across the river. Shade trees, not a lot to park under. Park is out of passport system at this time. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This looked like to be a fairly new park, Office, pool, restrooms are spotless. It right across the bridge from Natchez,MS (2-3mi). They are a Passport America campground. I made the reservations a month in advance and told her we were passport american members at that time. Office closes early, between 5-6pm. We arrived when she was closing. She assigned us to a site and said we could officially check in the next morning. Which we did, and were advised that the site we were on was a Premium WaterView site (Only 4-6 in Park) and would not qualify for Passport America Discount. Of course we didn't want to hook backup and move everything, so we stayed and Paid $27.00nt + Tax instead of $13nt PPA. It is a very nice park, the staff is very friendly, it is usually very windy, since it is on the "Ole Mississippi" so they advise not to leave awnings left out, when you are not there. Make sure when you check in that you are assigned the site you asked for. We Will stay here again, but will confirm type of site upon reservation AND at checkin. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

concrete and pullthrough. It is located right on the Mississippi river across from Natchez, MS. A riverwalk has recently been added as well as a road for

This is a well managed RV park containing most of the amenities anyone would expect of a
modern campground such as a store, private baths, pool, hot tub, 24 hr laundry, and modem hookups. It is Big Rig friendly with large concrete pull through sites and full hookups. All are 50/30/20 Amp. The lounge is large and comfortable with a fireplace and large picture windows affording a view of the covered patio, the pool, hot tub and the Mississippi beyond. It contains a large TV/VCR, VCR tapes, books, magazines, games, a small kitchen and a large tropical fish tank. The friendly helpful staff offers authentic warm Southern Hospitality It is a beautiful setting along the Mississippi River with an adjoining 3 mile river walk. There are many nearby restaurants and attractions. There is a shuttle available to the Isle of Capri Casino in Natchez, and one cannot forget all of the Antebellum Home tours in Natchez.
I return here 2 times a year, it is one of my favorite stops. We camped here in a Motorhome.

EXTREMELY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE! We camped here in March of '03 for the Natchez Spring Pilgrimage. Downtown Natchez was only about 5 minutes away. Clean private restrooms, Paved pull through sites. Nice river views of barges and Paddle Boats. Lots to do in Natchez. 24 hour laundry mat with 24 hour modem access. Nice pool with Hot tub. I just cannot say enough nice things about this park. Very friendly staff. I highly recommend it! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The primary touring attraction is Natchez, MS. This is a brand new park and well constructed. The swimming pool is still in the planning stages. Mostly concrete pads (some alternate concrete & grass so you will only get grass if they a very full). Some parts are shaded and some open. Very nice club house and facilities. There is cable hookup but only for surrounding area TV stations We camped here in a camper.
