Campground is a lot smaller that it appears on map. We have a large 5th wheel and found it stressful to jamb it into a lake front site. The store and restaurant were nice and convenient. The sites on the hill seemed almost impossible to park a large rig in between campers already set up. We will probably visit again, but be a little more careful where we reserve the next site. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
One of the loveliest spots we've ever seen. Unfortunately, "management" has no rules and
does not check the CG. Sites on the lake are miniscule; and apparently you are free to cram in as many people, dogs, tents, vehicles, clotheslines, coolers, and storage containers as you wish. If you can't fit it all on your site, no problem...just ooze right over onto your neighbor's site. NINE people in three tents next to us--using our site for their personal pathway, dumping their grey water, and storing their trash and excess Rubbermaid bins. Several large groups staying together were especially loud and rowdy, even shooting off fireworks (illegal in Maine). It was just total bedlam. We were also "treated" to a live band one evening that blared until after 11 p.m. We would not go back to this CG under any circumstances. We camped here in a Motorhome.
