We had a wonderful time hiking around the well marked trails and swimming in the lake. The sites varied in level but were fine for our little travel trailer. There was enough to do without leaving the campground for simple bike riding, hiking, and swimming. It is really nicely located for day trips to Plymouth and Cape Cod. Park Rangers were visable making the campground safer for the single camper. I would recommend this State Park to anyone for a simple trip or group rally. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Nice campground. We have Kayaks and the 2 lakes are very enjoyable. Good restrooms. Most sites are only 15 amp service or no service but there is one section with individual water and electric services. The dump station is very good. Good trails for hiking or bike riding. Campground lists max length at 30 ft but I've seen much larger in the H area. Some of those sites fit some pretty big rigs. Taunton may look like a city but this park is quite rural, deer, ducks, all the comforts of not being home!! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Pond is disgusting, but a decent place to camp if you don't plan on swimming. Hard to get a site for just one night due to the state regulated reservation policy of only being able to reserve for 2 nights. We camped here in a Motorhome.
