City run park and campground on Gladwin River with two separate camping areas. We stayed in the back section, which is spacious and shaded for back sites. Pull through sites are spacious but little shade. The front section sites are packed more closely but seem acceptable. Has park with playground for kids and beach on river. Swimming area is shallow for the most part with a deeper hole for adults. Showers are clean and located in the middle between booth camping areas. Staff is friendly with the Sheriff and Police department located at the entrance to the park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
