Excellent staff, great little public park. Bathhouse is "new" and very clean with large showers. This park is 100 years old per the manager and it's one of the original Michigan Tourist Parks for auto campers. If in the area we will stay again, if they have a spot for us. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a small quiet, very friendly campground over looking Hart Lake. Many seasonals, but very nice. Most of the sites are very narrow and not very shaded, but we love this campground because of the location. It is at the beginning of the Hart/Montague bike trail and is a short walk down the hill into historic Hart. There is fishing on Hart Lake with a boat ramp. It is also close to Silver Lake. The managers are awesome and couldn't be more helpful. There is security after dark and the restrooms are locked (you are given a code to open door) at night, which was nice. Great new restrooms. Will definitely return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
