This is mainly a big field with electric and water hookups. No frills, but the price is right! $12.50 is Passport America rate, but there are no restrictions on days of the week or length of stay. No services, but cg is close to everything in Mt. Pleasant. Pay by check on the honor system. Dump station is available. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Decent place for overnight stay. Paid $12.50 a night with Passport America. Fairgrounds has horse racing track with frequent races. Wednesday flea markets on grounds. County fair in August. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We love this little campground. It is a hidden gem in Mt Pleasant. It is beautiful with its tall trees and city park right next to it. A great place to relax and go to the Soaring Eagle Casino. You can take the shuttle or just drive 3 miles to it. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
A little rustic, but this park offers large shaded 50 amp pull through sites in a beautiful wooded setting. In spite of all the tall trees, we had no problem getting satellite service. Posted price was $18 per night but the guy in the office must have thought I deserved a senior discount because he only charged us $17. I've stayed at campgrounds that weren't nearly as nice and charged over twice as much. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is one of the worst campgrounds I have ever been to. The restrooms and showers were not serviced except for adding toilet paper when needed. We couldn't even use the showers they were so filthy. The sites were OK but nothing special. There are no activities for families except for the pool. The administrative staff is not helpful at all and act like they have no clue. We will not be camping here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
The S.C.I.T. stands for Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. This was one of the nicest campgrounds that we have stayed at in the last 2 years. The sites were wide so you had an idea of spaciousness and didn't feel cramped by your neighbors. Free, on demand, shuttle service is available to the casino. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The campground was for sales and needs some updating. The park is well maintained, but the office is much in need of repair. There is no Wi-Fi and 3G service is spotty at best. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
