This is a newer, well maintained CG, less than 6 years old that sits back ½ mile off the South side of M-55, approximately 3.5 miles east of the M-55 & M-65 junction. The gravel entrance road has a large, easily seen ID sign and is slightly dusty when dry. The pads are all gravel/dirt. All spaces are large with easily maneuverable access roads and a separate space for your towed. No problem for the big rigs (45+). All of the RV pads have electric, water and sewer. The sewer hookup is ground flush making it an easy dump process. Electric is reliable (even during thunder and lightning storms) and all are 50A. The Wi-Fi, while we were here, was out of order due to a lightning strike. There is no (Verizon) cell phone reception from the lower area of the park. The owner is very friendly and easy going, doesn’t even have one of those full page set of rules. We had a great stay at this park and would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very pleasant park and very quiet. In the country about 11 miles west of Tawas City. Large sites with tables and fire rings at each site. A CCUSA park, so at $13/night, a real bargain. Our Verizon phone and Air Card didn't work there although you could see a tower about a mile away. Nice to see deer in the park. We would stay there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
