This was a nice relaxing park (RPI) and we enjoyed our stay. We were allowed to pick a site, so we walked around and selected a nice treed site that was a back-in but very wide streets and wide lots made for easy backing. Good 50 amp power and good, not great, water pressure. Several channels into park from lake but many reeds in water. Good pool area and even had Saturday night entertainment that was free and enjoyable. Nice to see so many people there with kids and everyone having fun. Park has boat and trailer storage in center of park which detracts somewhat from it being a 5 Star resort. Many park models and seasonal sites. Several "older" trailers and open storage on lots detracted from 5 star rating also. I needed RV repair and called the service that the office recommended, and said worked weekends also, but they never called back. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in the area... We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is one of the 2 AOR parks in Minnesota. It's a huge private membership park with permanent sites/park models, but they do have 12 sites for AOR. We were offered a site "in the wooded area" or one of their permanent sites that happened to be vacant. We took that one for it's "clear view of the southern sky". It was paved, and the satellite reception was fine. Their map shows 2 AOR sites on the lake, but we weren't offered those. The park was nearly deserted, as it was end-of-season. Cute towns nearby of Wahkon and Isle with touristy shops open on weekends. Good grocery store in Isle. Did not use restrooms or showers, pool was closed of course. They do shut the water off for the winter when it gets colder, but we lucked out. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
