This is one of the first four state parks built by the CCC in the thirty's. All sites had cement slabs, some are vertically challenged as they are steep. Lots and lots of trees around, however in the site we were in, I had a clear southern sky and was able to use my Veu Qube. The washroom showers are old but fairly clean. They have washers and dryers with them: kind of sorry looking but worked well. There is a brand new play ground and a beach with swimming allowed. It also has a skating rink for the kids. The fishing was good. If you want a quiet place to kick back and relax, this is the place for you. We will return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
