Nice campground located on the Pearl River north of Jackson. Not all sites have sewer, but most have 30/50 amp service and water and lots and lots of shade. Bath houses are clean but not elaborate and there is even a small laundry on site. There are concrete picnic tables at the 24 sites with concrete pads. 21 additional sites seem to be seasonal and there are 19 others with gravel. The concrete pads are relatively level, but some of the gravel ones will require more side to side leveling as well as front to back. The swimming pool is small but nice. Nearby boat ramp for the river if you are a boater. No cable TV but you can pick up several local channels with your rooftop antenna. Satellite reception may be a problem in some sites due to the tree cover. Long way to a grocery store so be sure to stock up before arriving. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Senior summer rate. Agree will all of the previous review. No Verizon cell or broadband here, poor TV reception via Batwing, got in now and then but always breaking up. Good option for traveling the Trace. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Had good time here. Was here to catfish on Pearl river. Best fishing below Low head dam. Decent park with out door feel. Decent playground, well maintained. Park is just off main road, is great area for kids. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a nicely run park on the upper Pearl River, All of the pads are concrete, and level. There is a good distance between the sites. There is a small pool and play ground for the kids. There is a boat ramp for those who wish to fish, and fishing is generally pretty good. It is a all year round park. There is a small country store near the park entrance where you can buy some items, plus LP gas. Other wise stock up before you get here because the nearest town is 12 miles away. We will come back here in a Mississippi minute We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
