We have stayed here several times and will continue to return whenever in this area. Great, friendly, and helpful staff. Concrete, level slabs. Great full hookups. Good WIFI, and a good number of Cable TV channels. A good campground. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

Pros are concrete pads to park on. Pull thru sites are long enough. WiFi is good. Cable is good. Cons are the sites are close, gravel roads with a tight u turn to get to your site. They advertise "Big Rig Friendly" it should be "Big Rig Iffy" There really not many good choices in the Meridian area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We arrived on Sunday and there was no manager or owner on site. There were three open sites at 1:30 in the afternoon. There had been heavy rain before our arrival and the roads and sites were not an issue, good drainage. Each drive through site has a long concrete pad and gravel approaches. Utilities are handy and cable TV is good. On site Wi-fi was strong and quick. The laundry $1, clean and restrooms and showers were clean. Shopping in Meridian. Fuel was less expensive a little further east along I-20. When coming here try to arrive early, as the few available sites fill quickly in the afternoon. Railroad tracks are just off the site, behind the trees below the CG. There isn't much room to put out patio furniture and the picnic tables are on a slope between most sites. When the manager does come in, about 4:30 pm, he is friendly and helpful. This is a good place to take a break and relax for a while. We would stop here again, if in the vicinity. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

OK for 1 or 2 nights. We felt safe here. Good cable. Good WiFi. Good value for money. But it's not a pretty place by any standards. Lots of long term RV's. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Short drive off the interstate and no traffic noise. Sixty foot concrete pads, everything else is gravel. Restrooms are clean, shower stalls are very large, and there is great water pressure. There is a small, about 30 x 30, enclosed dog run. Shopping is about a mile from the park. Most sites have long term residents. This is a good over night stop. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Entrance to this park was off of a four lane highway with easy entrance and exit. Many long termers present. All roads are limestone or gravel. Some dust accumulation on vehicles. It was an adequate park for a 1 night stay. The staff was very friendly and gave us an easy pull through so we could leave early in the morning. Site was large concrete pad large enough for 35 ft. RV and tow. Several big rig, pull through sites are available. Price includes GS discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.

New Management has cleared the park of undesirables and is attempting to clean the park up. He has a long way to go - trash everywhere, not picked up, etc. Broken pads but still level when on the unbroken part. No worst than most KOAs. We ran from Baton Rouge to Meridian for Gustav and stayed 3-nights. Convenient handy getaway for us to escape the hurricane. Reasonable price - cash or check only. We would return for another hurricane escape. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This place is a dump. Garbage everywhere, no one on site (it looked as if no one was there in days/weeks) Cable hookup and phone long gone (even though the 2004 Woodalls say's they have them) Broken concrete pads, many sites did not have working facilities (Again the description says 60 out of 60 full hookups) Laundry fac. no where to be seen. Really flithy campground in a less then inviting part of town. Beware! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park was very adequate for a one or two night stay, not having to depend on park's rest rooms and showers. Train noise was not bothersome to us. Tracks are about 1/4 mile away. Would stay again when passing through, but not for more than 2 nights. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Horrible !!! Horrible !!! Dirty, noisy, cramped, and old campers everywhere !! Grossly overrated and over priced !! We were parked 40 feet from a local road and a couple hundred feet from a busy railroad. Parks like this should be turned back into a cow pasture !! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is very overrated, pine needles never raked, so ticks are all over.Asked for a monthly rate and when I heard 428.00 I about passed out. This is around a 200 per month, if that. Went to office to find why wifi wasn't working, owner was on her 6th beer, so much for that discussion. Not a very nice experience at all. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very quiet and peaceful place, friendly staff, good fishing. We enjoy staying here, but it's getting run down and needs a good clean up (pine straw, leaves, broken tree limbs, etc.). Can't use laundry or showers because they are dirty. Some long timers but no problem with that. We've stayed here twice and have another week booked in May. We always stay at least a week and enjoy our time here, but it could be a much better park if they'd just spend some time and clean it up. Paved pads but not level. If you like the woods and country setting this is the place. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Take the additional half hour drive off the highway and enjoy the peace and quiet this park offers (at least it was when we were there; the water park was shut down for the winter). I have to agree with the previous reviewer regarding the toilet facilities. They were awful. Someone had left a mop and bucket in the corner of one of the laundry areas and it was filthy. Looked like it had been there for quite a while. The bad thing about the park is that management needs to do some clean-up with the sites. We walked the whole park to find that more than half of it has been left untended, allowing the surrounding woods to take over. Sad, as it could be a wonderful place if someone would take some time to spruce it up some. There are a lot of full timers, with lots of boats and trailers scattered amongst the sites. Trash in the woods, bucket lights in the trees left on all day, overgrowth in other areas. The water park and the day use areas look well groomed until you look closer. There's trash there as well. Like I said earlier, it is a peaceful and quiet place and I would definitely stay again, using my own facilities. The reservoir is teeming with birds and wildlife. A great place for canoes, kayaks, riding bikes. Simply put: a wonderful place to stop and just relax. We planned on only staying one night but added a second one as it was so peaceful. The staff we met were extremely pleasant and friendly. The rate reflects the Passport America rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Showers and bathrooms were filthy. Urine and water running on floor, could not turn off the water in shower, no locks on stalls or shower doors, no paper, room with washing machines had several water leaks and floor was covered with water. All this was reported by several different people and 3 days later nothing had changed. Be careful of snakes, we saw two big ones. We have camped here 3 times and each time the conditions are worse than the time before. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
