This park is five miles off of 49. It is very quiet and peaceful with 28 sites. They have just finished up grading the electrical system. Lots of trees and plenty of space between sites. The pads are blacktop, some do need attention. They are in the middle of adding more sewer hook ups, so all most all site now have this. The road in can be narrow at times, but passable. The park people we dealt with were first class. This park is not used a lot, seems lost to the traveling RV'er. We were here this Labor day week end and there were only three of us in the entire park. The bad is we had no cell service, but that was good in a way. We will be back. Should have wonderful fall colors and spring colors here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We loved this quiet, rural County (or State, not sure which) Park. The price quoted was based on Passport America rate. This park also had laundry facilities, which is rare in municipal parks (we've found). Lovely walking trails and a lovely huge large. The only negative was we were not able to get satellite reception because of all the gorgeous trees. We would most definitely return here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

My rating is not just for the park, but for the people that run the park. We were running from Hurricane Gustav in Louisiana. We arrived at this campground at 3am and were welcomed with an honor box that we happily left our personal information. We were able to get a few hours sleep and once we talked to personnel and had to evacuate more North. We were wished good luck and prayers and were told we didn't owe them a dime. Thanks so much Dry Creek for your hospitality. Their last words were, "We hope to see you again!" Yes, you will! We didn't get to enjoy the lake and the quiet shady area we were in, but for a very limited time. There is a day use area that we saw a sign for and it is far and away from hustle and bustle which we love for our (4) children. We will visit again and stay to enjoy!! Thanks again! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
