CLOSED AND OUT OF BUSINESS I stopped here and spoke with the owner. He and his wife have retired and closed the campground for good. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Similar to other comments, this is the nicest little campground we have found in years. The owners are two of the nicest people you'll ever want to meet. When we first arrived and we was pulling in, I thought we had made a mistake as the campground looked very small. But once in, it is so pretty in here and grounds so well kept, we were very impressed. I talked to one of the owners for about an hour this morning and yes, alas, as others have said, they are retiring this year. That will be a loss to all of us as this little campground is just about perfect. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Great little campground with a loyal following and friendly owners. Good interior roads, sites are mostly level. We are 40' long towing a Jeep and had to be extremely careful while maneuvering in the campground due to *very* tight turns. We did fine since we have 50,000+ miles of experience and a very tight turning radius coach, but those with older motorhomes that don't turn sharply would have a problem here. Unfortunately the owners of this little gem are calling it quits of 13 years of running their campground - this is the last season for JJ Campground. Bon Voyage. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a small but nice park. We stayed here on our way home. It was very clean, and owners were friendly. They only take cash or checks. We camped here in a Motorhome.
For the best in "sardine can" living, this is the place. Really packed in without enough room to open the awning. Stayed at monthly rate We camped here in a Motorhome.
A very clean and well landscaped small park. Level gravel sites with shade and an acceptable amount of space between sites. There is some highway noise but not bad and it does have easy access to the interstate. It has a nice swimming pool and some playground equipment. It has a pleasant country setting. We have stayed here a couple of times and would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A beautiful campground in rolling fields of this lovely country area. Good size level gravel sites with lovely large leaf trees everywhere. Beautiful pet area and walking trail. A real lovely country setting in every direction. Quiet in every way. LOvely owners. If your children need toys and activities, this isn't for you. Excellent for large motorhomes. Peaceful in every way. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice, clean park with large pull thrus. Most of the well-groomed sites were shaded with
tables and fire rings. Coin operated showers are antiquated but clean. Quiet atmosphere and the hosts were very congenial. Direction to camp sign was very hard to spot though and we missed it on the first try. We'll go there again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This was the cleanest country setting park we've ever stayed in. We were there for 1 week in Sept.(weekly rates too). Big pet walk area and playground for kids. Very quiet too except for I35 noise if wind is blowing the right way. Very convenient for the Kansas City area- approx 30 miles north of downtown. They honored Good Sam's and gave the discount w/out even being a GS park. Would stay there again for sure. We camped here in a camper.
