The owners are trying but not very hard. They accept cash or check only. The pool has apparently never been open. Great for overnight especially for full hookup and 50 amp. The lots are all grass but according to the owner there is a gravel base. Had no trouble leveling. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We held our local Samboree here and it's a good place to relax. A lot of sprucing up is going on. They are building a dog park/run that should be finished this fall. The pool is kept up very well and the staff is very friendly. We enjoy heading there to relax, or just being maybe half mile from the highway exit, it would be a great place to overnight. Easy in and out. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is located on the frontage road at the NE corner of I-70 and Hwy 65 near Marshall, MO. It's an open grassy field off the highway. It sits a little above and back from the road so the noise isn't as bad as it could be. It's bad enough though. There are a dozen 50 amp, full hook-up, back-in sites on the east row that will accommodate big rigs. However, the ground is soft in the rain and it's a poor location in damp weather. There are pull-through sites available, but they are 30 amp only. Every 4th or 5th spot has a small tree. The same goes for picnic tables. The general condition is run down and neglected. The grass really needs to be mowed throughout the campground. Both ends of the 50 amp row have trash piles of construction materials, old appliances, rusting farm equipment, etc. There is a pool, but it is half full of mossy green water. Out buildings in the park all need paint and new roofs. We stayed here two nights to visit family in Marshall. This is a place to stop and catch some sleep. It's not a "destination" or family park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
