Odd sort of place. First, we had made reservations in June with "Susie". When we arrived, there was no record of our reservation and were told that they have a busy week-end coming up but would try to fit us in. The lady at the desk, informed me that we should have called ahead, (what's a reservation for?). Second; we were given a site which was down in what appeared to be a gulley. Although it was long enough to pull through without unhooking our car, we had tree limbs hanging down scraping the top and sides of our motorhome. We managed to get all three slides out, but barely. I should say, in all fairness, that some of the sites look OK. Third; no cable TV, no WIFI, limited TV channels from antenna. We stayed here on our way towards Nebraska. Not much to choose from around here so it was OK for one night. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice campground, very friendly and helpful owners. Wi-Fi is only available at office, rest- rooms/showers only available at office. Only trash dumpster located out of the way on dead end road. Restrooms/showers very clean. Camped during severe weather outbreak and owners notified us about it and told us where storm shelter was. Owners were out prior to 7am cleaning up storm debris. Otherwise, a real nice park, clean, quiet and peaceful. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Great little park for overnight. Very Nice hosts. 50 amp, water, sewer & pull through. Also some goats, cats & 2 llamas. Office still open after 8pm. Recommended by Wallace state park host because they were full. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is one of the best parks we have been at! We are full timers and stayed here for several months. The managers are great. It is perfect if you have a dog, which we do. The only reason it did not get a ten is because there is no internet and no hot tub. Also our Verizon card did not work here until we got an amplifier for it. We paid 500/month which included all utilities. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Large acreage (100 acres) with steep gravel roads and large deep ruts between road and sites. Appears more like a state park than RV campgrounds. Many activities including trails for 4-wheelers and horses, Petting zoo, two fishing lakes, and live band type entertainment. Web site appears accurate except this facility is not big rig friendly with the steep terrain and ruts. We arrived on Friday night and stayed one night. On site manager friendly and gave us our choice of available sites. We camped here in a Motorhome.
