This was our first time here. Its an older state park, but its not run down. It's very wooded and most sites very private. We stayed on the buddy site 24 & 25 with some friends. Kind of a small buddy site, but it worked. Not a lot to do here, some hiking trails, a boat launch into the Meramec river. Overall, a nice clean park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We loved this campground. Very quiet, good shade. Clean. Stayed two days, and drove into Union City, a very old and pretty town with many historic buildings and friendly people. There is Wi-Fi available in the town library. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a peaceful little campground. Campground hosts were wonderful. Plenty of space between sites and our site was fairly level. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Electric hookup but no water or sewer hookups. Several water spigots are located throughout the campground. We enjoyed our stay and will return to this campground in the future. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
A very nice and quiet park. Each site has a nice concrete pad for the picnic table. On site ranger is very helpful and gave us the combination to the lock so that we could arrive after hours. We didn't explore any of the park amenities as we were sightseeing in St. Louis. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
