Nice, quiet state park campground located 26 miles SW of Dillon. Camping fee includes admission to old Bannack with over 50 restored buildings from the gold rush days of the 1860's. A few long pull-thru sites will accommodate any length. Back in sites are longer than stated on web site. Many sites are well shaded. No dump but does have water. Host on site. Tipi available for rent. Visit to Bannack well worthwhile - visitor center, videos, self-guided tour up Main Street. Located along Grasshopper Creek. Saw deer and lots of different birds. Drawback - mosquitoes were terrible! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This reservoir is managed by Bureau of Reclamation and there are several campgrounds all around the lake. The pay camp is at the Marina and has full hookups for $30.00 per night and 1/2 price for National Senior Passes. Many other campgrounds around lake are all free with tables and firepits and some even have cabanas. Beautiful historical setting for Lewis and Clark's expedition. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate is for Golden Pass. Regular rate of $30 seems a little high since water is undrinkable. Park has a number of campsites but only one with hook-ups. It's about 1 mile in from I-15. The RV sites are mostly back-ins and, as marked, are very short. All hook ups are at the very rear. Its not well laid out or developed. It used to be run by a concessionaire, but now has a camp host with little support from BOR (Bureau of Reclamation). At $15 it's OK, at $30 I'd go somewhere else unless you are into boating or fishing. Weekdays are quiet, I imagine weekends might not be. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects senior discount. As noted by another person, there was a sign to boil our water. We didn't have a problem with that as we wanted to stay by the lake. The view of the lake from the sites was wonderful. If you are interested in fishing and have a boat, this is a great location. No trees. We had a FHU site with a 50 amp service. Park is very quiet and The park host was most accommodating. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a FIND! For only $10.00 per night, if you have a Senior Parks Pass, you have a site on a lake with full hookups. They have a boat ramp and space to park your boat. There are no other amenities except that they do have picnic tables at the sites. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We really enjoyed the solitude here. It was us, the host and 1 other trailer. But it was the end of the season. Located in the high desert area between Dillon & Lima at the mouth of the river. Right on the edge of the lake with wonderful sunrises and sunsets. It was quite windy so we didn't put out the awning. The host said it was not always that way but is frequently. If it's windy you may want to position your rig for shade and wind block. Great for people who love to fish or hunt...or those of us who are spectators. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The rate reflects 50% discount for "America the Beautiful Pass" (now the Interagency Pass) which is a great deal for a full hookup. There are multiple campgrounds, but the one that offers this deal is the first on the left as you go over the dam: there is a big sign saying "RV PARK." It is next to the Lewis and Clark exhibition and only 18 miles from Dillon. It's a good base for the Pintler Scenic Highway. It can get very windy here. The views of the mountains and lake are unlimited. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

There are actually nine campgrounds on this Bureau of Reclamation reservoir, the site of Lewis & Clark's Camp Fortunate. This review concerns the single RV camp that has hookups and approximately 50 sites. The sites are close together, totally treeless, and a little rough in appearance, but there were so few people camped on the weekend that the spaces were actually quite large. Most sites had full hookups, but a few had only water and electric. The rate reflects a 50% discount for the Senior Pass. In the late July heat, electric for the AC was a must if staying for longer than overnight. The boat launch at this campground was reasonably busy, although activity on the reservoir was very light, even on a hot weekend. This part of the country is big-sky spectacular and worth a visit. Particularly noteworthy is Bannack State Park, a preserved abandoned mining town managed by the state as a park. Although we didn't do it, also worthy of a visit is Lemhi Pass, the place that Lewis & Clark crossed the continental divide into Oregon Country. We'd stay here again when in the area; it's a great bargain. Although there is no WiFi here, our Verizon air card worked great at this location. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice RV Park in Dillon, MT. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay for a longer period of time and plan to return in the future. The restrooms and showers were spotless and the buildings and grounds were well maintained. Nice area to walk dogs. Also a short distance from freeway but noise was definitely not a problem - far enough way that you don't notice any traffic. Highly recommend! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We were happy to see the flashing strobe light and RV park sign, as it was getting dusk and we needed a place to park for the night.. Very friendly check in, long enough pull throughs, convenient hookups, good Wi-Fi, quiet, and a veterans discount. This is as good as it gets! A few miles south of Dillon but very easy on and off the freeway. We would would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice small RV park a couple miles from Dillon and within easy reach of several historic ghost towns. Can handle all sizes of RVs with easy access from I-15. Unusual shower/rest room configuration, but very clean with some nice decorative touches. The pool was not available, but lots of grass to play on and no obstructions to satellite access. War vets get a discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is approximately 5 years old, and 3 miles from town with fantastic Interstate access. It has excellent electric, water and sewer. Wide sites with some approaching 80 feet. Gravel roads and sites but little dust. Not as congested as the "In Town" parks and no city streets to maneuver when arriving. Eat at Sparks Garage or the Lion Den. Dillon is a fun town to visit and shop in. We stopped for one night and stayed 4. Our 45' bus with 4 slides was very happy here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Park had convenient access to freeway and to town for supplies. The owner couple were very kind and helpful. We were interested in going to Crystal Park and she loaned us supplies and gave us great info on where to go and what to do. When we got back with our "treasures" she took the time to tell us what we had found. Sites were level and a decent size. There were no fires allowed at the site, but fire pits had been set up with benches and with wood and you were welcome to have a fire in these common areas. We camped here in a Motorhome.

If you like large RV sites, lots of green grass, reasonable rates, very clean restrooms/showers, and friendly/helpful managers, then you’ll enjoy staying at Countryside RV Park a couple of miles south of Dillon. There’s even a large field where dogs can exercise off leash and you are even allowed to wash you truck/RV here. The sites are level and covered in gravel and the park is definitely big-rig friendly. Their laundry is small, but the rates are reasonable. The rate shown is their weekly rate with a Good Sam’s (GS) discount. If you have proof of military service, they’ll deduct another 5%. The nightly rate is $35 and $32 for 50 and 30 amp services, respectively, less 10% for GS members. While here, be sure to visit Dillon’s Beaverhead County Museum and Bannack State Park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects weekly rate. Ok I admit I do not use the restrooms so they do not reflect in my view of this campground. Run by very nice people and even the other guests in the park are among the friendliest I've met anywhere in MT. The park is very well kept and very big rig friendly, the roads are very navigable by the biggest rigs. My RV is combined length of 74 foot and had no problems navigating and keeping it on the roads. Without a pool it is not truly child friendly, but lots of open space and green grass. Nice place for us folks who enjoy a park that is not full of children continually. Good quiet country atmosphere. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

If you need to use the restroom, you will not like this campground. The only restroom for men has one toilet and a urinal. The ladies' has two toilets with a curtain for privacy that barely comes down to your knees. A man was sitting outside the men's room when I exited, and I greeted him and asked how he was doing. He said, "Impatiently waiting." This place needs better bathroom facilities! Otherwise, it was a good place. Because we use campground restrooms every morning, we will probably not go back to this place. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We love this park. Out in the country with open views of fields and snowy mountains. Wide spaces and exceptionally well kept and clean. When we checked in our favorite spot was taken so the owner directed me to a back-in space and told me to pull straight in for better views. Turned out to be the best spot in the park. Very friendly management. Even though the park is in the open spaces, it is still only minutes from a town that is fun to visit. We found several restaurants we liked and more to try next time. There are interesting places to visit only a short drive away, Butte, Virginia City, Nevada City and Bannack State Park to name just a few. We like to drive through the countryside, find a small cafe for lunch and return to the park in time for dinner. This location offers several such places to drive to. We would definitely stay at this park again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We will be staying for a week in this campground with a beautiful view. The office is friendly and informative. The way the units are pulled into the sites you're not looking at your neighbors rig. What a delight - very friendly and helpful owners. Beautifully maintained campground in a magnificent location in the country, but not far from the town of Dillon. We were able to pick our own site making the most of the lovely views. We first visited this campground 4 years ago - we liked it then and we were not disappointed this time round. We liked this park a lot! It doesn't seem like much when you first look at it maybe, but has a lot to offer. The staff is very friendly and obviously cares about guests - they had lots of suggestions about best restaurants, attractions, and etc. in the area. It is handy to interstate and town but very quiet and peaceful. Sites are a decent size (even for a 45-footer with slide outs) so you're not on top of your neighbor. We really enjoyed the community fire pit - wood provided! Added plus was the on-site RV washing service - did a fabulous job at a terrific price. The rig hasn't looked that good since we bought it! Only downside was the WiFi - sometimes it worked great and sometimes not at all. We found that frustrating, as we work on the road. We will definitely make a point of staying here again when we're in the area. The rate reflects a Good Sam discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.

What a special time & place. The owners were more than friendly & helpful. We were passing through but after the owner told us about the area we just had to see for ourselves.we stayed for a week. Fresh flowers in restroom ,manicured lawn, lots of room between sites, the nicest decor I have seen in an RV Park. We Highly recommend to everyone. This is a very nice RV park that offers plenty of room for any size rig. Lack of shade could be a problem in the summer heat but this will get better as the smaller trees mature. Wonderful walking trail around the park and the country road running in front of the entrance provides safe walking plus an interesting look at local agricultural methods. All common spaces are clean and well maintained and the staff was friendly and took time to make you feel welcome. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

With just a few tweaks this would rate a 10. The large entrance is blacktop. The roads are wide gravel, as are all the sites. The sites are level and have lots of space between them and some are extra long. There is lots of grass and beautiful views. The WiFi was consistent and fast. The decor in the office, restrooms and showers is the best I have seen anywhere. Lots of western memorabilia and the sitting room in the bathroom had a bouquet of fresh flowers. A few suggestions would be to dig up some of the weeds in the sites, fill in a couple potholes in the road, and close the showers for daily cleaning. A couple more hooks in the showers would be nice, and the women's toilets could have curtains for more privacy. There were 2 ironing boards that need new covers. There are some new picnic tables; the others could be painted. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice little campground for easy off and on I-15. We had a long and level pull-through with 50 amp. Friendly owner also. Again, we don't understand a rating of 10 by others. We are full-time and are in hundreds of parks, this is not a 10. There are no facilities here, un-paved roads and sites. (Only all paved, complete facilities and amenities deserve the highest rating.) This park is very adequate and we liked it and we would stay here again while passing through this area. Great RV park. We do not need a pool or rec hall and horseshoes. We do need space, Wi-Fi, good hookups, and easy access to our site. A nice creek runs through it, the dog had plenty of places to walk, the staff was very helpful and pleasant. The railroad just behind was not noisy. Great park. Neat town. We have stayed at this park several times and really love it. The owners are friendly and helpful. Their beautiful dog is also a delight. The park is very clean and the sites are large with plenty of space between. Good strong power, the Wi-Fi works great, even at the far end of the park. Nice, clean restrooms, showers and laundry facility. The scenery is spectacular with views of several mountain ranges. We always stay here when we are in this area. I don't understand why a previous post rated this park a 4, it's a 10 in my opinion. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice park with grass/gravel sites and no trees. Wide sites with more than enough room between sites. Very quiet, clean and well maintained. Some sites have awkward utility connections and may require a longer than average sewer or water hose. Dinner style restaurant in town, Sparky’s Garage. Nice grocery store at the other end of town, Safeway (behind McDonald‘s). Free Wi-Fi at site with an excellent connection. Off network connection with AT&T. We would stay here again. On our entire trip to and from Alaska I have decided this to be the best park. All sites are spacious gravel pull-throughs with grass between sites. Big rig friendly. It is very manicured, clean and quiet. No annoying tress or branches. Your are also allowed to clean your vehicle on site, which is only the second place that we stayed that allows this. This is a beautiful RV park. Was very easy to find with appropriate signs. The spaces are very large with large grassy areas between the sites. Each site is angled so that you are not right next to another RV. Very clean, well manacured lawn. Beautiful surroundings and very quiet. We were only going to stay for one night, but stayed two to recuperate from being on the road for 5 days. Was a very peaceful place to unwind. Will definitely be back to this park. We stayed here for four nights while we explored the sites and birds of this Montana region. This RV Park is located in the open country side, three miles south of Dillon, and a sufficient distance from I-15. There is a loop on each side of an expansive mowed grass area. Access lanes are hard pack with gravel and so are the spacious sites. Each site has a panoramic view of surrounding mountain ranges and adjacent farm fields. The hook-ups are top rate and the WiFi service was excellent for us. The RV Park appears to be 100 percent dedicated to seasonal and overnight travelers. There are no Park Models here and no permanent appearing residents. A creek runs through the RV Park and there are two reed filled ponds. We found the place wonderful for viewing the birds. The only aspect we found to be a negative are the overhead lights located on the lawns. They sure are bright and offer no opportunity to view the dark sky nights of Montana. There is a pool, but it was barren of water. We really liked this peaceful attractive RV Park. The rate shown is the Good Sam daily rate. If we ever return to this area we would certainly stay here. The nightly rate is based on the weekly rate of $175. The sites are spacious and slanted in such a way that you don't look into another RV's windows. Nice green lawn between sites and folks are as friendly as you are. Grounds are well kept and employees are always diligent about keeping it that way. We stayed at Countryside for 1 week. This is a well maintained and friendly park. Huge RV sites with plenty of space between them. Also perfect for over-nighters due to the long pull throughs with easy access. The owners are very nice and helpful. I like the convenience of town nearby (3 miles to Dillon), but the quiet and peacefulness of the country. No trains or freeway traffic noise. We will definitely stay here again. This park is easily accessible from I-15. Sites are reasonably spaced with grass in between the sites. Staff was friendly and helpful. Fire rings were not at individual sites; however, a community fire ring near the center of the campground was available for use. There were no shade trees at the campground. Laundry room was a bit small (only 2 washers and 2 dryers), but was clean. There is a little bit of highway noise from highway 278, but I-15 is far enough away that I didn't hear it. This is a hidden gem of a campground just off I-15. We stopped here on our way North and were not disappointed. There is no cable TV but that is the ONLY negative. The staff are exceptionally helpful and the whole place is very clean, quiet and well kept. If only more campgrounds were like this! The restrooms and showers are extremely clean. Great place for one night. There is some highway noise. It's 4 miles to Dillon for groceries, gas, restaurants, etc. Park is easy to find and access for big rigs. One big concern: there are no stall doors in the women's washroom! There are dividing walls but no doors. A big deal for kids and anyone wanting privacy. I can't imagine why they were removed. This park is about 0.4 miles off the Interstate so it doesn't have that noise, or railroad noise but it does have some local traffic noise. There are good gravel roads and level gravel sites with lots of grass and open space. We had to ask for a table and it was promptly delivered. There are some small trees. The utilities worked fine, however there is no cable TV and poor over-the-air TV. Satellite TV has an open view to the sky. Good Wi-Fi, however Verizon air card worked very slow. This park is in open country with mountain views all around. They allow RV washing. The friendly and helpful owners, escorted us to the site. Price is for a 50 amp weekly stay. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We spent one month camping here. We found the park to be clean, well managed, and enjoyable. It is quiet, with lots of room for relaxing, walking of pets, or just sitting and viewing the sights. We stayed at this campground for one night traveling through Montana. There is easy access to the interstate with large pull-through and back-in sites. You can see how conscientious the owners/managers are with the landscaping and maintenance of this park. It is truly an example for other campgrounds. This park was definitely designed by RVers. This is a very nice RV Park just off the freeway and far enough that you don't get any freeway noise. The grounds are grassy with a large fire pit in the center complete with chairs and logs for burning. The owner/manager is very friendly. I was told about activities in the area upon check-in. Was also sold a Good Sam membership for the discount. The swimming pool area at this park is being converted into a dog area. They have long pull-through sites. There are no trees at the sites but that makes using the slide-outs easier. They have a wonderful shower facility. We stayed 2 weeks at this campground. The owners are wonderful and very helpful with ideas of where to go and what to see while you are in Dillon. The site we had was a large, long pull-through with a nice patch of grass under the picnic table. It aslo had a view of the creek and a large flower planting that was in full bloom. One of the owners, has a pet sheep which she leads on a halter for the kids of all ages to pet. She is in constant motion, watering the grass, guiding rigs in, doing maintenance items around the park, etc. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stopped for one night at this campground and wished we had time for more. It is conveniently located just off I-15 about 3 hours south of Missoula. It is just far enough from the highway to avoid the noise of traffic. Don't let the grazing cattle scare you into thinking there might be cattle odor. Not so. They, too, are far enough away and, along with the surrounding mountains, provide an incredibly picturesque spot. The campground is immaculate... a nice green lawn and level sites with ample room. The owners are very people and dog friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is close to I-15 and Dillon. It has new, enthusiastic and friendly owners and very responsible workcampers. It was very clean and well cared for and had beautiful grass. We put the rate down for a single night with 50 amp electrical and a Good Sam discount. The weekly rate is $160. This is a nice, clean and quiet park with gravel roads and parking sites. The pull throughs angle off the access roads so that you do not actually have another rig beside you. There is also plenty of separation. There is lush green grass all around your rig. No trees however but that is fine for our satellite. We would have rated this park a 10 if the picnic table had been full sized with benches on both sides and if the garbage cans had been at both ends of the park rather than just near the park exit. The owners are nice and friendly and have only owned this park for about a month and a half. They are working on improving the park. I said there was no pool but there is one which needs lots of repairs so it is not available now. I don't understand the prior review. There is no evidence of a stream through the middle of the park. We had no problems with the turns on the roads with our 39' motorhome and toad and there were no flower barrels around the roads. This is a great little park and is near to a lot of fishing and other sights. Be sure to take in Bannack Ghost Town nearby. We would definitely return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The sites will accommodate a big rig, but I would recommend detaching toad. Some turns are tight and the owners have added some decorative flower barrels and other decorations. When we first previewed this new park a couple years ago, it was a Passport America campground. It isn't any longer even though their advertisement via this RVParkReviews web site shows a page from a Passport America Directory. Nevertheless, the park was still worth their full asking price. For $20 we got our choice (just drove around and picked the one we preferred) of FHU gravel sites; ours was a 50A back-in, abutting a nicely manicured and watered green belt. We were towards the back of the park so, it's true, I could not get a strong enough signal to get Wi-Fi. It was EZ off/on the I-90 freeway at Exit 59 outside of town. Handy for just an overnight stay; we'd return again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

On check in the owners go out of their way to make you welcome and supply the information you need to make your stay enjoyable. All sites are long and level with plenty of room between you and your neighbors. Good strong 50 amp service and good tasting water. We were parked near the office and the wifi was very good, but we understand it is weak in the back of the campground. This park is 3 miles south of town at exit 59 on I-15. Very easy on and off access. This ia a real sleeper! Almost new campground with large sites (all have 30 & 50 amp, sewer & water). Very quiet, great views, large pool. Big rig friendly park, lots of open grassland. We have a 31' TT and CC pickup (54' total) and had no trouble getting in and out. Reasonable rates. The owners of this campground are very nice and know the area well. When you stay ask and they will guide you to all sorts of interesting places to visit in the area. The only drawbacks to the campground are the narrow roads and the sites are on a hill which could be a problem for some to find a level spot. Stayed here last year so returned. I was a little disappointed that despite having made a reservation several months earlier, the owner's son said he could not find it. They only have a few long 50 amp sites but one was available even without the reservation. The rate is a Good Sam rate less the $5 Good Sam coupon. The son did not know how to handle the coupon so charged my credit card the full price and told me to return when his Mom got there. I did and she gave me cash. This may be our new favorite cg, with a picturesque spot on the river and a nice shaded spot. You will NOT meet nicer owners. They are the "bend over backwards" type of folks. The Wi-Fi and cable TV are excellent and the laundry more than adequate. The roads are good and there's plenty of room to maneuver. There's tons to do in the area, whether it's hiking, fishing, atv's, sightseeing, biking, shopping, etc. We'll definitely be back! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a pleasant, pretty park with lots of trees, right on the river. There is only ONE 50 amp site and it was taken. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Pull throughs are a tad tight w/ a 40' rig and a toad. Easy river access, very pet friendly (we have 3 dogs), and good fishing. The Wi-Fi went in and out and the Verizon service is spotty: ranging from good to non-existent. Lots of families and different types of rigs. We stayed here twice on this trip - one overnight stay at the end of July and a 2 night stay late in August. The park offers what we want (FHU, 60 channel cable, WIFI, and a pool) in a park. There are a variety of camping sites but only about 15 FHU, pull-thrus. The staff was friendly and the park well kept. It is only a 10 minute walk to town which has a museum and small collection of pioneer buildings plus adequate shopping and places to eat. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Friendly staff, cute park. Tight spaces with not much room between neighbors - especially for such a rural and pretty campground. However, they were nice enough to keep from putting someone right next to us since they had spaces elsewhere (and I think they had to do that to convert the 2 30A plugs into the 50A we'd requested). Nice creek near the campground, good playground, small pool was too full of people for us to use. Fair prices. We would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A fairly typical KOA: older and with little charisma. Sites and roads are dirt/gravel and require leveling. Site quality varies but most are small to medium sized with limited visual separation. Location is quiet and access is not difficult, even for big rigs. Overall an OK overnight stop. Not much to do right in Dillon but there are interesting historical sites within an hour or two radius. This is a delightful little RV Park, a lot of work has clearly been put in to clearing the banks of the creek that runs through the Park and generally sprucing the Park up. We only stayed one night on our way south but will likely come back as the Park is very close to superb fishing in Poindexter Slough and the Beaverhead River both of which I have fished on other visits (not staying in the RV on those occasions). Very well maintained campground. Gravel road and pad, with level pull through and big rig access. Very quiet, we had a great site with lots of space, however all sites were not equal, and our neighbors picnic table was practically over our sewer pipe. There are some shade trees, grass, picnic table and a lovely creek running through the campground. The bathrooms are spotless, but as a previous reviewer said, no doors on the toilet cubicles, just shower curtains, which seemed a little strange. Dog walk with pick up bags. Wi-Fi and cell are both good. Dillon is a lovely little town and we found plenty to do in the area, and enjoyed a wonderful meal at Sparky's just a five minute walk from the campground. This is a very clean and neat campground. The owners are great and are very responsive to any requests. They are always available and spend a lot of time taking care of this park. We had 50 amp service and Wi-Fi and both worked great. There is lots of grass, a creek, wide spaces, and most interesting, there is a small museum of artifacts and vehicles from WWII and later. Southside is a stop over and not a destination unless you are a fisherman. Easy access from the freeway. We had a pull through site and they are way too close to the neighbors. The sites are gravel with a bit of grass on your right side but tracking the white dirt into the coach is unstoppable. Loved this small park and it's great, friendly, hard working owners. Can't wait to go back next year. We had a shady side by the creek and stayed 4 days. Utilities and Wi-Fi worked great, laundry was spotless, no road noise. It is convenient to the small town of Dillon and we enjoyed exploring the area and eating at Sparky's Garage. The WW2 museum is fantastic. We even enjoyed visiting the sheep and cow. It is not for those that want a "resort" type atmosphere, but for us it was perfect and we will be back next year. The last time we stayed at Southside was about 5 years ago, and things have only gotten better! The park is incredibly clean and neat. Bathrooms and showers were immaculate. The laundry room has been recently redone: repainted, new tile floor, etc. Power at our 50-amp, pull-through site was rock solid and so was the WiFi signal. The newest addition to the park is their son's WWII vehicle and memorabilia museum. Lots of AMAZING stuff, and the son and dad know a lot about everything in the collection. It's a truly unique add-on to an already great park. You have to check it out! As usual the owners were friendly, helpful, and always around. If you need something, they're here. We had dinner at Sparky's Garage (which is close enough to the park to walk to) and had fantastic ribs, prime rib and shrimp. Great park, nice family running it, and convenient. Hard to beat. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were at this park for 4 days. Park is spacious, has grass and trees, and very well kept. Staff is friendly and efficient. Dog friendly with the usual reasonable rules. Water pressure is great, nice hot showers, and decent Wi-Fi (not real strong but decent). Our verizon phones worked well. Cable TV is spectacular, lots of channels. Right in town, it's easy to go for walks to downtown Dillon. They are upgrading things constantly and paying attention to keeping the park nice. The fishing in this area is legendary and there is a stream running right through the campground. We were recommended to this park by other RV'ers. We'll be back, and we'll stay here. This is a terrific park. The owners go out of their way to accommodate you. Sites are level. We had a problem with noise on one night only. We were about 100 yards from the railroad tracks and at 3:00 AM someone decided to unload heavy pipe of some type. It went on for 4 hours. The rest of the nights were very quiet and peaceful. Hardest working owners we have seen; the park is in great shape. The wi-fi is good and plenty of cable channels. It has gravel sites and roads; normally we would not rate a park this high without asphalt and cement pads, but this park is so well maintained. This was a very nice park. We were parked in the front section, which has nice patches of grass between sites, and some trees. We have a single slide out on our fifth wheel, and had a bit of trouble fitting between the utility hookups on one side, and the tree on the other. Bigger rigs might prefer the back half of the park. To be fair, the owner offered to let us change sites if we wanted. The owner is very enthusiastic about the area, and offers a lot of information about events and the surroundings. She directed us to the nearby state park for Bannack Days, which was a lot of fun. There is a railroad track nearby, as well as a rodeo ground, and both contributed some noise, though not enough to be bothersome. All-in-all, a decent little park that we wouldn't hesitate to stop at again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Quiet park. Many shade trees, long, wide, level gravel sites; very easy access for big rigs. A number of sites are located on bank of the Blacktail trout stream that runs through the park. Owners, on site, work hard to insure a great experience. Tons of info on what to do, what to see and where to go. Free Wi-Fi was fast and worked well, cable TV with many options. Laundry room always spotless with new equipment. Four large washers, four dryers that dry without toasting or shrinking your clothing. The restrooms and showers are immaculate. Well kept park. There's a fast moving stream running through the middle with a private bridge spliting the park grounds, great fishing. Gravel pads are large but muddy around the edges when wet. We spent 2 nights here and loved this park. The owner/operator is one of the friendliest we've met anywhere. The park is very attractive and has a stream running through it. The resident exotic chickens were fun. Wi-Fi and cable TV worked extremely well and the park was very quiet. There is a newly redesigned laundry and that plus the restroom/showers were spotless. After a terrific visit two years ago, we said we'd be back, and we meant it! The park's owners, are some of the nicest people we've met in over 6 years of full-time RV'ing. They keep their RV park immaculately clean, the spaces are all large and level, and they offer free Wi-Fi (with good signal throughout the park). Anytime you need anything at all, they are here to help. They've obviously spent a lot of time and effort making things even better since we were last there, with a brand new laundry room and immaculate bath and shower house. This is one of the nicest parks we've found anywhere. Great hosts, nice facilities, beautiful landscaping, creek running right through, a peaceful and quiet setting, and lots to do in the area. She has an ironing board, table, magazines and deep laundry sink for campers convenience. Bathroom/shower house was immaculate. 2 showers, 2 toilets in the open shower house. At this time they are remodeling 1 of the 2 shower houses, so you have to walk across bridge, but it is really no problem. Nice level gravel lots and nice grass at each site. Some sites back up to creek. Only negative we had was that on weekend, owners tend to do lots of noisy work, took away from being able to relax outside. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We had friends staying in our motorhome who had their own van and motorcycle trailer, and the owners found them a spot to park right behind the motorhome for free. Very good WiFi speed. This is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with a pretty stream on the property. The owners are gracious and helpful. Our site was a wide pull-through. The Wi-Fi had a strong signal, and there was cable television. There was a free library of DVD and VCR tapes to borrow. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A clean, cute, quiet very nice little park. The new owners have only had the park for a couple of years and are very friendly and intent on meeting your needs. Only negative is that the park needs to update it's electrical system. They need more 50 amp and to refurbish their 30 amp. We tripped their 30 amp circuit breakers about 3 times on a warm day that required air conditioning. Great little town and don't forget to eat at Sparky's Diner, about a 3 block walk from the park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is one of our favorite parks. It is worth going out of the way to stay here. The spaces are large, with plenty of room. We will make a special effort to stay in this park when ever we can We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here a week. Every thing you need in Dillon. Nice little, quiet park. Owners very cordial and helpful. It would be a 10 with more amenities. The restroom/showers could use some updating. In town and very close to everything. Be sure and visit Bannack, and drive the Pioneer Scenic Byway. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We spent a very comfortable, relaxed couple of days here while on our way back home to Calgary after spending 3 weeks in Salt Lake City. We got to attend the County Fair which was being held at the Fairground across the tracks from the park. The lady in charge was very helpful ...made us feel very welcome. We're looking forward to staying there again. A very clean, friendly, comfortable park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We vacationed in Montana, Wyoming and Idaho for 2 months during summer of 2007. By far, this was the nicest, cleanest and friendliness of the many campsites we stayed at. If we were to visit the West again, we would stay at Southside. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We really enjoyed this campground. We were in a fifth wheel and stayed a week. It rained a lot and we were most comfortable in the campground. There is no train noise or highway noise. Lots of scenic drives to take. Town is close and any supplies we needed were available. The owners were very very helpful and very friendly. We would definitely stay here again. Loved the mountains. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We loved this park! Stayed here on our way north to Canada, and we'll be back again! The park itself is really cute, with the Blacktail Creek running right through the middle of it! Spaces are large, there's nice grass between sites, and large shade trees keep you cool, even on hot summer days (don't worry, there are sites with good southern views for satellite access, too!) The owners are fantastic. Very friendly, very helpful (they'll help arrange whatever kind of repairs/services you could need), and LOTS of fun! They really made us feel at home and like we were part of the family. If you're going anywhere near Dillon: stay here. You won't regret it. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The people are very friendly. The stream is a very nice place to walk your dogs. Restroom/Showers are old, but clean. WiFi and Cable TV are both excellent. The park is nothing fancy but I liked it and would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very well maintained park. Very nice and helpful owner/managers. Excellent for day trips of historical sites and Yellowstone Park. Upgraded gravel roads, plenty of grass and shade trees, no highway noise. We camped here in a camper.
