This is a very friendly park. Even though it is close to the interstate, the road noise is minimal during the night. The spots are level and we didn't have to unhook the truck from the camper. The mini golf needs some work, but we were not charged to pay. The rate reflects the Good Sam discount, plus the additional Good Sam $5 coupon. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The owner was extremely nice, the tent sites were spacious and shady. It is kid-friendly and the bathrooms were clean. The tent sites are next to the freeway and freeway noise as well as noise from the adjacent gas station kept me awake as did the recycling truck that came at 5:15 a.m.! I would camp here again in a camper since noise wouldn't be an issue, not sure about a tent. We camped here in a Tent.

GREAT campground. Easy on/off, very clean, roomy, good stuff for the kids (e.g., miniature golf), VERY friendly owner. One of the best places we have stayed at on a long trip. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A diamond in the middle of nowhere! The map on this camp ground needs to be updated - there a tons of trees. This campground was about half way from Havre MT and Rapid City SD, our destination. The owner and his brother are extremely friendly and well organized and this reflects in their wonderful and comical campground. A western motif abounds. Our site was level, long to hold my 35 ft fiver and F-350 truck with room to spare. The width of our site was more than ample. I think I could have floated the Queen Mary and docked it in our site. We return if ever in the area - it is a must stop for us. Oh! We were in site 94 and was able to use Wi-Fi, it worked for awhile then slowed down. They could use a couple of signal boosters. This campground is level with gravel pads & grassy sites, some with shade trees. Although it's right next to I-94, road noise was surprisingly low except in sites right along that edge of the campground. Rather unimpressive entry, next to a seedy-looking bar/casino, but there was no rowdy behavior the night we were there, at least. Nice view from sites along the western & northern edges of the campground. Facilities are older and could use some updating but were clean enough. Not many street lights meant we had a great view of the stars after dark - even the Milky Way showed up clearly! Owners friendly & helpful. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park is not fancy but seems to be well managed. The sites are wide and level with lots of shade. The laundry room was clean and the machines worked well. We have Wi-Fi at our motorhome. Very well kept, clean campground. Spaces were level and well maintained with nice spacing between other campers. Could not get Wi-Fi at our campsite and were met with a grouchy park attendant when attempting to get Wi-Fi at the office, even being told he was going to charge us extra for intruding. Grass between sites, very level, ours was a little short. Good Wi-Fi and cable TV. Hookups worked as expected but were in the front of the site requiring extensions. Clean laundry, $1.25 to wash and $1.00 to dry. Restaurant was not very good. This park is comfortable and quiet and we would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We camped here and were very comfortable. We had space #50 with little traffic going by. The roads and pads are gravel but fairly level and easiest pull thrus we have dealt with all year. Staff was friendly. Store needs to be stocked better as the park was filling up every night, however, there is a good mini mart within easy walking distance for the basics. Lots of room for pets to run between the park and the edge of the hill that overlooks the Yellowstone river. We would stay here again and most likely stay longer next time. Owner (one of 2 brothers) is very friendly and welcoming with a great sense of humor ( needed when dealing with me). Although the campsite is just off the highway, we could not hear any traffic (we were on #4). We have a small 20' travel trailer and had plenty of room to move around. Good sewage connector, cable TV, and Wi-Fi. The bathrooms were clean, and there is an excellent laundromat with 4 washing machines and dryers. There are a couple of cabins, and a clean swimming pool The days we stayed here (3 nights) were lovely sunny days, but there were thunderstorms in the evening that were fantastic to watch, creating stunning sunsets. There are a couple of restaurants in walking distance, but we never made use of them. All in all a good experience. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

A very nice, no frills place. A low key relaxed atmosphere. Sites were well taken care of and freshly graded. We were surprised how good it was being next to the highway. What a pleasant surprise after the multiple disappointments when traveling through North Dakota, where most of the sites we stayed at left a lot to be desired. The manager was one of the nicest we have met. He was, I believe from Georgia and a great NASCAR fan. The sites were relatively level, gravel but no dust, requiring virtually no extra blocks. The place is not too far from the Theodore Roosevelt National park and certainly in our experience, better than the ones located there, especially for big rigs. The road noise of interstate 94 was not noticable. The shade tress were not intrusive (we have 4 slides), but helped to shield the hot sun off your rig. No need to set up my satellite as the cable TV provided all the networks one usually desire. Water and sewer access was great. We did not use the laundry. There are two restaurants in easy walking distance and served good hot food with generous portions. They of course were not the Ritz, but still good. We will definitely stay here again when traveling on I-94. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a reasonable campground for an overnight stop. It is very close to the freeway and the train, but most of the interstate campgrounds are. The shade trees are starting to die and need more pruning, especially because it can get quite windy on the prairie. There were several long term campers who used up the only sites that were reasonably far from the road. The pads are gravel and level. WiFi worked ok, but we were close to the office. The park is pretty worn but staff are friendly and helpful. This is the second time I have stayed in this park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The price reflects the Good Sam discount and is for a full hookup, pull-through site. The owner and his young son were friendly and helpful. We were allowed to drive the park and choose the site of our choice. The hookups were well located and in good condition. The bathrooms and showers were clean. Our site was level and very roomy with grass and shade. There was a picnic table but no fire ring. The access roads were gravel but in good condition. There are quite a few sites suitable for big rigs. The miniature golf course was in good condition. The swimming pool was clean and well kept but was closed as we were here in the off season. This park is near the freeway but was reasonably quiet. There is a gas station and convenience store near the entrance and it is handy to get supplies. We were very happy with this park and would stay here again. Note: this park no longer has a Web Site. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed here many times during our trips back to Minnesota. The bathrooms are the cleanest in the nation of all the places we have been. The owners are 2 brothers from Arkansas who work the place during the season. It's right off the freeway, there is a restaurant within 50 feet and a gas station. The pool is nice,they also have two cabins which are a bargain at $50 a night.The sites are very basic.This area has beautiful stars at night. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

An older park that offers sites with varying utility packages. Reasonable for the amenities offered. Would stay again if passing through. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an old KOA Campground and could do with some tidying and upgrading. Friendly and helpful staff. We choose an open pull-through site as tree branches could be a problem for big rigs. Stayed here longer than intended due to stormy weather moving through. The layout and access within the Campground could be better with a little more thought. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Interior roads and sites gravel. Easy access from I-94 just north of the exit. Park has some trees, but staff volunteered to trim whatever we needed to get to our site and at our selected site. Very friendly office staff greeted us. Wi-Fi worked well. No problem receiving satellite TV and Verizon air card. Only a few miles to visit Makoshika State Park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was our first time here in three years. The park was recently purchased by a thirty - something couple with kids. Thus far they have kept the park up to previous standards. They mentioned that it has been a lot harder work than they expected. As of now, it is still one of the best full service (full hook ups, cable, WI-FI, and a pool) parks in eastern MT. Big rigs may have to unhook but most of their pull-thrus are adequate. A few trees give shade to some sites and the rest of the vegetation is typical of the area - dried out grass in the summer and small shrubs. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice campground for a night or two. The owner/manager was very nice and accommodating though when I went to purchase a bag of ice I was informed they do not have have any and I should walk over to the gas station to purchase some. Other then that, our over night stay was pleasant and quiet and it was especially nice having cable TV available. One thing I did learn when I attempted to check in is that if I only pay for a electric/water site I would have to pay $5 to dump in the morning. I have never stayed at a campground that charges its guests to dump in the morning. I thought this is pretty cheap on their part so I paid for a full hook up site for the night. The owner was a very friendly and tolerant gentleman. I had confused whether we had paid up-front or not, but he cleared it up for me quickly. Our site was very clean and well maintained and was level. The campground was great for our overnight stay, but I would imagine it would be fine for an extended stay. Well looked after park. Close to Interstate but its lightly traveled at night and the highway runs in a bit of a cut by the campground which reduces noise. Wi-Fi signal varies, even near the office. Lots of books to trade. Good place to stop. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very clean park and there is a nice restaurant in front of the park that we ate our dinner and had a very good meal there. The laundry was very clean too. There are 4 washers and 4 dryers and it didn't cost an arm and a leg to do the laundry either. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We liked the friendly staff at Glendive Campground. We had a little problem with the electricity at our site, but the staff came over immediately and fixed the problem. Very nice people. Sites were fairly close together but not too many campers here so we felt like we had lots of "room to breathe". Bathrooms very nice and clean. Pool very clean and shallow (3-4 feet deep) Trees gave nice shade. Overall a really nice campground. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

Nice, reasonably priced campground with free WiFi. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Sites are long and level and very big rig friendly. Town is small with not much to offer. The thing to see here is the fabulous Makoshika State Park. Not nearly as large as the ND Badlands but very beautiful in their own way. Not as colorful but more interesting rock formations and more close up views. This is a “must see” for anyone who stops here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I have stayed here a number of times over the years. The current owners took over maybe 7 years ago and have turned it into a nice full service park: full hookups, good cable, and Wi-Fi. Some sites and roads may be a little tight for big rigs, but you won't find a better park facilities in eastern Montana (and that's a big area). Right off I94, but for those of you concerned about noise, there isn't that much traffic here. I usually stay an extra day because it a nice relaxing park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is an OK Park for a short visit. Staff are friendly and helpful. All interior roads are gravel making it a bit dusty. Overall, I would stop here again as I pass through Eastern Montana. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I have camped here every year for over 10 years on the way to Yellowstone National Park and have always been pleased. Very clean, Very quiet, very nice people. The swimming pool is very nice and always a favorite with my kids. FYI: We are VERY picky types, and I give this campground an A+ rating! We camped here in a camper.

Office staff very rude, park smelled of sewage, bathrooms and showers were filthy and didn't have any electrical outlets. There is no way we would have stayed, had we not been having truck problems and been waiting for the local dealership to get the part we needed. We definitely will not be returning. We always reserve our campsites several weeks in advance. When we arrived here the rude lady in the office told us that we did not have a reservation. She then found a piece of paper on her desk with our name on it, but said she didn't know what that meant. She indicated all she had was a site with no sewer, bad water and possibly we could get 30-amp service. We declined and told her we would move on to another place. This campground sure didn't look like any place we would want to spend time at and they did us a favor by not acknowledging our reservation. We would NEVER return here. Nice setting in the trees. As others said, the showers were dirty. My wife indicates the women's showers were cleaner. Some of the dirt I attribute to oil workers who are staying at the park. However, the mold and very dirty corners/soap trays indicate it's been a long time since it was adequately cleaned. Served our purpose as a one night stopover since we had FHUs; and the price was right. However, it needs lots of work. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

My wife thinks that a 5 is being generous. There were some nice things about the park. The roads were wide, mostly gravel and level. It was very easy to get into our site, and I would think that would apply to every site there. The pull through site we had was level and nicely graveled. The biggest problem with the park was the general run-down condition. For instance, even though the owners were out mowing when we arrived there were sticks from the trees all over the ground. The steps to the bathrooms were dirty with debris in the corners and cobwebs. The shower I used was clean to look at but every surface that I touched that was not visible was dirty. I reminded me of how I cleaned something THE FIRST TIME when I was a teenager. I did as little as possible to say the job was done. One other note about the showers, there were 5 in the men's room and the one that I used had very low water pressure. I persevered but when I was finished I checked the others. The next stall had NO pressure, the middle one had excellent pressure and the other two were like the one that I used. What's up with that? The site could have been rated higher and all it would take is a diligent effort at cleaning up. As it stands, we would not return. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

We stayed here this summer and were very disappointed. The fishing pond was an irrigation pond. The bugs were horrible, and all we did was drown bait. No one even got a nibble. The pictures on the website must be 20 years old. Everything is run down including the time warp playground. Most the the people camping there work in the oil fields. Our sites weren't really sites; they were on a grassy patch with people behind us as well as on both sides. Only 1 of our group got a fire pit. They also charged to use the dump station even when you stayed there. The only good thing about it is it is cheap and near the interstate. We won't stop here again! First, I have corrected the web address for this RV Park to reflect the new updated address. This is a rather unique RV Park in a quiet country setting just north on I-94 and near Highway 16. There are somewhat spacious backin sites and tight pull-throughs. We had one of the water and 30 Amp pull-throughs beneath towering Cottonwood Trees. The wide access lanes are gravel/dirt and so are the level sites. Use caution when plugging-in. It appears most of the sites have no circuit breakers. Since it was cool we elected not to run the AC. I sure wish my mail order surge protector had arrived. The charm of this place is the rural country farm setting. There is a small size pond, supposedly with trout, corn fields, a number of running streams from springs, pastures and large grass areas for pets. The RV Park and local area has an abundance of birds and deer. There are two rail lines between Highway 16 and the RV Park. Neither of the two appear to be used with any frequencies. Traffic noise from I-94 is slight and usually not noticeable. Yes, there is a moderate hill to reach the park entrance. My big rig with a tow was able to handle it without any problem. This may not be the greatest place, but the value provided for the price is unbeatable. We extended our stay by a night and would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

For the price, it's hard to be picky. Some parts of the park are very neat, some parts less so. We were camped next to a very trashy looking long-term motorhome. For folks wanting an inexpensive park for an overnight stay, this is a pretty good choice. We will probably try the other park next time we are passing through. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Price includes taxes. What we liked about this park is its convenience, out-in-the-country setting and the friendliness of the owners. We had a "pull-through" site with full hookups (50 amp) so we could get satellite reception. And yes, cell phone/air card. Out our front window about 100' away we could see the corn field, ready for picked' in a couple of weeks. We did buy 5 lb of freshly harvested potatoes from the owner ($3). Plenty of grass for the dogs as well as us humans. Roads were dirt but because of rains, not dusty. Yes, we'd stay here again and you can't beat the price! Don't think the owners are charging enough. We camped here in a Motorhome.

For the price they charge this is a wonderful campground! The owners are friendly and very accommodating. When we checked-in they told us to just pick a spot we liked. They can see the whole campground from the office so we did not even have to go back to tell them where we were. Easy access from I-90 but far enough away so that the freeway noise was not noticable. The railroad track that you cross is a seldom used siding and the trains you do hear are the BNSF main lines that go through the center of town about 1.2 miles south of the park as the crow flies. The owners live on the property and take good care of the place. We camped here in a Motorhome.

It's hard to criticize a park that only charges $16.50 a night, and aside from the train noise, this is a good overnight stop. Level sites, trees, (some will block satellite reception), good hookups & excellent soft water were all a plus. On check-in, after driving over the railroad tracks right outside the park entrance, my wife asked about train noise and was told "we're on a siding, so it's not a problem at night". Well, the siding sounded like it ran through the site next to ours, and the train's horn was enough to rattle the windows. Verizon cell and AirCard worked well, nice since the park has no wireless. Road noise from the interstate was negligible. An OK park in an area without many options, but bring your earplugs. We camped here in a Motorhome.

One half mile north of interstate on Highway 16. Freeway is close, but not much noise. Very nice folks at check in. Big pull throughs with lots of turning radius. Good 30 or 50 amp,water and sewer. Good sign directions for the park and cell phone signal was good. Short but steep downhill coming into the park. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
