We would definitely stay here again. Long pull- through sites, quite level so we didn't have to unhitch; $18 for water and electricity, $23 for full hookups; nice swimming pool; friendly and helpful fellow at the desk; a lot of travel literature available; free cable and Internet; low water pressure so we just used our water pump. nice grassy areas with picnic tables with shade trees available for use by us campers or for tents. If using Garmin, call for directions as it does not have the exact location. The campground is just off Interstate, the first Miles City exit at the bottom of the hill on the left. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Reasonable rates. Soft water showers. That's the best I can say about this place. In kind of a scary area, next to what looked like a concrete dump. Sites were long, narrow, and un-level. Right out our door was a 5th wheel that looked like it was abandoned there. Old, and falling apart. Showers are in a long closet like room, and its just a shower. If you want to shave or use the toilet, you have to go to another little room. I WOULD NOT stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Full hookup sites occupied by long term campers. Sites were long and narrow and not very level. We had trouble leveling a 40' motorhome. Water pressure was very low and at times we had to run our water pump while hooked up to get a good flow. Wi-Fi was available, and we got a usable signal from the farthest site. Good connection and fast. Not a resort, but good value for the $$. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is not a resort but offers great value for the money. The water pressure was low at times but the park was quiet and I felt safe here. The laundry and showers are some of the cleanest I've seen. Try not to be mislead by previous reviews or the RV Park's website. This is not a gem and it is not a very good RV Park for Montana. At best this is an average Interstate RV Park. Good for an overnight stay and nothing more. Yes, there are extremely long somewhat level pull-through sites. They are very narrow and ours was 20-foot wide. There are many discrepancies involving the sites and the facilities. There are 24 sites and most are occupied by seasonal long term guest. Water, electric and sewer are shared with a neighbor. Each utility is immediately adjacent to cause some potential electrical hazards and sanitary problems. Your neighbor here could easily cut-off your 30 Amp power. Water pressure is very low. There must be some sort of safety problems here at night. Because there are at least two extremely bright stadium style lights here. They really light up the entire place at night. The light is strong enough to shine through double layer curtains. The Wi-Fi is terrible. I resorted to using PDA.net. There are other problems to encounter and to many to list. I'd recommend trying another RV Park or continue onward to another town. We stayed here one night. We will not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were camping without children or pets. We feel this was a very good value as the price was extremely reasonable with all the services we wanted for an over night stay. The restrooms and showers were clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the pull through site was easy in and easy out. We had plenty of space between sites and did not feel crowded. We did have trouble with having enough power to run our air conditioner while we were running the radio and microwave. We had to trip the switch outside a few times but then had no trouble after that. There were no shady spots but we would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

$23 was all inclusive for a 30amp full hookup site with Wi-Fi and Catv. Verizon broadband was mostly good, Wi-Fi varied. Owners working on cleaning this place up. Laundry very small, but had 4 brand new machines, 2 of each. Showers, did not use but looked in while waiting on laundry, very, very clean. New gravel on sites. Overall a very nice park for Montana. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a clean, well maintained park. It's easy to find right off the highway, but I didn't notice a lot of traffic noise. The pull-throughs are narrow, but very long. They accommodated a crew-cab dually, a 39 ft 5th wheel, and a car pulling a motorcycle trailer. This is not a resort, but a great over night stop. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I'm going to give this park a little higher rating than previous posters because it was just exactly what we expected it to be, an overnight stop off the interstate. The restrooms and showers were immaculate, and all the services worked perfectly. We were right behind the office and had plenty of room for our 36' + toad. Otherwise not much there but a great place to stop for the night. Friendly staff, and the laundry room, while small, was very clean. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Just a place to stop and rest overnight. Folks nice. Lots of permanent mobiles and trailers. Nice price of $16.00 for W&E includes cable and WiFi. We had low water pressure (25 lbs.) and low voltage at 106. 30 amp only. Will say shower, bathroom and laundry were small, but nice and modern. We parked closest to WiFi antenna but still weak and slow. We were able to stay hooked up and have plenty of room. Like I said "overnight stop only". SC WalMart and other stores close by. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Looks better after you get past the entry. Folks are very friendly, and very helpful. Nice lawn area for tents; play area for children. Fills up nearly every night, but spaces are pretty close together. We have a slide-out, as does our neighbor, and there is only about 4 ft between us. On the other side, we don't have a slide, but the rig parked there is also only about 4-5 ft away. If we had our awning out, we would have had to lower it. Sites are gravel and nearly level. Gets pretty windy here at night, so you don't see a lot of awnings out anyway. Small laundry (2 washers, 2 dryers) is immaculate, as are the women's bathrooms. Price is obviously the main attraction. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A bargain at $15 with wifi, clean tho few restrooms, and a mostly quiet area. But it's still Miles City- super hot and buggy. Sites long, not quite level, no shade. Cable tv available for $20 rate. Nice owners. Fine for overnight and avoiding the KOA. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a simple campground that satisfied our needs for an overnight stop -- easy on/off I-94 at US 12, clean, level pull-thus, water/electric, clear view of the sky for our Internet Satellite dish and the price is certainly appealing. They also had a pool that looked inviting. We are full-timers and would stop here again, even stay a couple of days just to rest. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The curb appeal is a little lacking. The office is open from noon to dusk and it smells of cigarette smoke. The campground itself is not that bad. The sites are almost level, the bathrooms, laundry and showers are spotless. The laundry has 2 washers and 2 dryers that look brand new and are $1.00 each (30 minutes to wash and 1 hour to dry). We had water and electric only (30 amps) but they do have full-hookups which were full. There is a play ground for the children. It's close to the freeway but there is no noise, easy on/easy off. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a grassy, open park that served very nicely for an overnight stop. For $15, it's a very good value. We had an excellent Verizon data signal there. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Gravel roads and sites made this a fairly dusty stopover. We were one of only a few sites being occupied, the others seemed to be fairly permanent. Lots of space between sites which was good. Great line of sight for satellite dish on roof which was nice. We would probably probably stay here again. This is not a destination resort but it is pretty good for the area and there is a lot to do in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

It appears this park was designed by someone who has never used an RV before. The sites are long an narrow, and utility hookups are at the extreme end of the sites, requiring parking at the end or using long cords and hoses. Tables are on the "driver side" of sites, not convenient. Office staff was friendly and helpful. OK for an overnight stop. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I agree with the comments made by the previous reviewer. PRO: Long, spacious sites. Good location, near a Wal-Mart, good supermarket, auto parts store and such. Nice laundry room, with new machines (but only four of each). CON: No store on site. Wireless didn't work, and when I went to the office, they told me that only so many people could be on it at any time (park was about 30% full at the time), and they didn't even bother to look into it. The sites are deeply rutted because of the sand which underlies the thin layer of gravel - leveling a travel trailer here is a trick. There are some semi-permanent people living here, some in beat up trailers dating to the forties and fifties. Unlike other RV parks where those folks are grouped together, here they are scattered through the park, helping to give the impression of a shabby RV park. We would have been better off staying at the nearby KOA. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very clean and well kept park. Lots of room and not very crowded. Very nice laundry and restroom facilities. Close to interstate and Walmart. We arrived late and had no luck with any of the other RV parks in the area. They were all full, or very small, or we didn't like location. Turns out that was great because this was definitely the best one around in our opinion. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This RV park is convenient to stores, etc., and for me, the hospital, where my husband was. The laundry room has 4 washers and dryers in good condition for $1.50 each. The Wi-Fi worked well for me and my ATT i-phone worked well. Also, Verizon MiFi worked well. First complaint is that there is no shade because the trees planted are still young, so maybe in several years there will be SOME shade, but there aren't trees at every site. The biggest complaint is the sites are gravel over sand and we were spinning out and it was dry out. I would not want to be here if it was really wet. I didn't use the restrooms, but looked in and they were modern and clean. The laundry and restrooms are coded for security. Nice young lady at check-in. All in all, probably an overnight stay would be OK, unless you need this area. I did drive by the KOA and they have big cottonwoods for shade. Meadows RV seems overpriced. The $34 dollars was with tax and with Good Sam discount. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The sites are long but with very poorly designed utilities. Electricity and water were at the very back of the sites requiring the toad to be left sticking in the street. Some sites were very soft gravel and most sites are deceptively out of level front to back. We would stay here again for an overnight stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was our very first trip in our Fifth Wheel. We came to Miles City for the Bucking Horse Sale, and the KOA was already booked. We ended up staying here. Everything was spotless. The showers and restrooms were very new and extremely well maintained. I always wear flip flops in public showers but I didn't feel I needed to here (although I did anyway). At this time, there is no detergent available to purchase for the coin operated laundry. The machines looked new and were large enough to accommodate a week's load. The staff were so kind and helpful. Upon our late night arrival, the owner came by personally to check on us, offered help getting us hooked up, too. We brought our 9 month old English Labrador, a chihuahua mix, and 4 yr old daughter. We were able to let the dogs run into the back "pasture" which was wonderful. There was no amazing view, but the Miles City Water Tower sat high above on a butte; that was cool. Each site did have soft green grass, a picnic table and full bloomed young trees. To make up for the lack of pristine beauty, was the awesome staff, and the convenience to Super Wal Mart, Ace Hardware, Albertsons, Main Street and of course the Eastern Montana Fair. The rate seemed high even to our local Miles City friends; however, we would totally stay here again anytime we venture to Miles City. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The manager was very nice and the park is relatively new. The restrooms and showers are clean. The park is located among businesses and not too far from the freeway, but is relatively quiet in spite of it. We have stayed here twice because it is less expensive than the KOA and in a better area of the City. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is easy to access from the interstate and good for an overnight stop. The facilities were very clean. The pads are gravel, pretty level and roomy for big rigs. The Wi-Fi connection worked well for us. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice staff. Campground was clean with fantastic cottonwood trees. It was a great place to spend the night on our RV trip. Only negative was the way the sites were set up with your door facing another door. We had some bad luck with the wind on our way and had roof damage and awning damage on our motor home. The owners recommended a local guy named Dave who came right out and looked at the damage and came back on Sunday morning and repaired it. Excellent job and I would highly recommend this KOA. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice park, good signage to get to park. Nice city, new managers/owners since Sept 2011. Very nice and easy to access. Agree with previous reviewers. Managers went out of their way to please We had 5 in our party and were very pleased with the accodomations. Real nice city. Restaurants recommended by managers were very good. This KOA is okay for a few days. Bathrooms/showers are average older KOA but clean and are fine. Lots of trees and shade and grass between the gravel sites. Camp hosts are great and very nice. Train tracks are not far away and heard a couple of trains overnight. Not a big deal since we like trains. The park is located near enough to the old rustic downtown area that one can walk to town. Campground is on the Yellowstone river and a nice setting overall. Some older in town neighborhoods are nearby by which makes for an interesting drive to the park. Also there is some dump truck traffic behind the park within view of the main camping area with stays busy M-F during the day. Not a big deal though. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This rate was for 2 people in a water and electric site. The owners were super friendly and helpful, they even escorted us to our site and made sure we could reach the hookups. The owners brought a free local newspaper to our site. Bathrooms, showers and laundry were very clean and nicely decorated and were checked often for supplies and cleanliness. Sites were gravel and level with some grass between sites, our site was roomy. There are many sites that would accommodate big rigs. The cable TV worked well with many channels and the Wi-Fi was strong. There were quite a few large trees in the park. The swimming pool was closed as it was the off season. The only negative was that there was a gravel stock piling business close by and a lot of dump trucks were going by, maybe our timing was bad and this isn't an every day thing? This is the nicest park we found in this area and we would not hesitate to return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We're not usually fans of KOAs, but this one is really top notch. The owners take great pride in their park and have really invested in making improvements. We stayed here six years ago, shortly after they acquired the park and their hard work is noticeable. The owners are friendly and go out of their way to provide great customer service. In fact, when we checked in, the owner stopped by to let us know she was on her way to Wal-Mart and asked if we needed anything. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The nightly fee was $36 but I used 15,000 of my KOA points and reduced the bill by $25.00. The host did not know how to do it but called the parent office and brought my receipt to our site. Spacious sites. Easy in and out of the park but 3 miles off of the interstate. Travel is through a residential neighborhood. Very friendly staff. Garbage can be left at your site and will be picked up. There were 4 trains that roared through town during the night. I really don't know how far away the tracks were but it seemed like the horns were very close. Sleep was less than optimal. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The owners at this park are great and go out of their way to make you comfortable. The setting is a little odd though. There are no fences to separate the residential houses from the camp sites. The sites are hard pack gravel but have no patios. Most of the grass is pretty rough and could use reseeding. But all in all it's not a bad place to stay for a few days. Nice mature trees, but it does make satellite reception difficult. However, they do have a significant list of cable channels available. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is and older park with mature trees and lots of shade. The staff is lovely and everything in the park is kept very clean. The pool is nice and was well cared for. This park was clean and spacious. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and friendly. They took extra time to point out local attractions and places to stop on our way east. Yes, we also got free ice cream on check in. I am usually disappointed by KOAs, and we have a tendency to avoid them, but I'm glad we came to this one. We would stay here again. This KOA is in a great spot--tucked away in a nice shady corner on the fringe of downtown Miles City. The owners are incredibly nice (they gave us ice cream bars when we checked in!) and offered us a discounted rate when we only wanted electric (that included cable and Internet, too). The bathrooms are nice and clean, there's a laundry to use that's cheaper than the laundry in my apartment building ($1.50 for a wash load, $.75 to dry), and the spots are much more spaced out than the other KOA's we've been to where you could shake hands with your neighbors. We had planned to go to Big Sky, as we had come across it on the Internet and it looked really nice, but websites can be deceiving: We got to town and it was not at all in a remote location like it implies, but just a stone's throw from the major interstate! Plus, it was a dump. So we were happy there was a back-up plan, a KOA in town, and made our way there. I would give this spot a 10 if it weren't for the noise factor. There's construction going on just to the back of the lot, and who knows how long that will continue (it was only loud in the morning, not in the afternoon or night) and b) there are trains that run nearby all night long and blow their horns pretty loudly. I would stay here again, though, no questions asked. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very clean, and very friendly park. 50 tall cottonwoods characterize this wonderful campground; sunny or shady spots are available. It's a great spot to relax and reload. This was our third stay here and it won't be our last. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We came to this campground as an overnight stay until we left in the AM for our next destination. We thought the Host/Hostess was VERY nice. We were shown where our campsite was (which is nice), and we did use the bathrooms and showers and thought those were very clean. Also used the laundry room which was nice, we were the only people in there, but everything seemed to be in working order. I would recommend this campground to anyone. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park-like grounds and super friendly owners! Great little stop for an over nighter or weekend stay. Huge cable selection and nice, shaded, level sites. Bathrooms were always clean and the laundry was nice. Ask the front desk before heading through town back to the interstate, there is a VERY low clearance bridge on Main St. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Another great couple owned KOA; they know what TLC is! Laundry is open 24 hours, great dryers and dish washing sink too, which is very helpful for us overnighters who don't want to empty our gray water tanks. Clean showers and looked like the pool was being used by families. Gravel site was pretty level; didn't unhook our travel trailer from the F-350. KOA's seemed to be the best so far; safe, clean, friendly, efficient: not asking much. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This KOA was situated in a Cottonwood Grove almost downtown Miles City which you could walk to. It made for a pleasant one night stay. Easy in and out with big, level sites. The pool looked well maintained, laundry was adequate and Wi-Fi worked well. A negative was a dirty mens shower/restroom exacerbated by rank standing water in the floor drains. Considering the level of the water in the sewer stand pipe, I think this may be a recurring problem. Still, staff should be aware of it and react first thing in the morning especially when tent campers need to use the facility. The other negative was that the store had zero inventory either chronically or in anticipation of closing for the winter season. These items notwithstanding I’d overnight here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a good spot for an over night stay. The best thing about the park is the friendly staff. The sites are not particularly level. The park is not really easy to find and is an old park. The trees are very mature, but are trimmed to accommodate larger rigs. I would recommend this park for a place to lay your head for the night. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Friendly, cheerful, and helpful hosts. It was away from the Interstate which is why we chose it. Be sure to take the 136 exit and not the 135. There is a low underpass near downtown, so make sure you follow the truck route. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a pleasant older KOA in its 3rd year of renewal by younger owners. The sites are wide, and some have side-by-side hookups. The restrooms were freshly painted and extremely clean. The entire park is in a grove of cottonwood trees on the edge of town. We paid the KOA discount rate, which included local taxes. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This was a pleasant campground with very friendly hosts. We called ahead the day we arrived and they had a site set aside for us. The campground is shaded with numerous mature cottonwood trees, although there is not any screening between sites. The bathrooms and showers were clean. Although we did not use the pool, it appeared to be the standard-issue, smallish KOA pool. The city is doing road and bridge construction nearby, and we were informed off this when we called ahead to reserve a site. Strong WI-FI signal and fast internet connection. They host an evening social with ice cream each night, and gave us some ice cream the next morning for our daughter, who was suffering from strep throat. All in all, a pleasant place to stop off in Eastern Montana. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park was an unexpected pleasant surprise. We missed a turn on a cross-country trip which put us way off track, so we were just looking for somewhere with cable & WiFi to spend the night. The owners, who purchased the campground two years ago, were very friendly and helpful. Most sites are shaded with nice old trees. No privacy between sites though...no low shrubs, etc. But for an overnight, it was not an issue. Nice, clean pool. It must be heated. We didn't swim in it but other people were swimming and the air was cool on the day we stayed. Extensive cable TV channel lineup and FREE WiFi, both pleasant surprises given that this is in a fairly rural area. Nice gravel roads, virtually no dirt/mud. Grassy sites. Nice clean laundry room complete with a full sized ironing board, 2 irons, and a shopping cart to use for transferring laundry from washer to dryer. Nice touch with the ironing board! Children's playground which several families were enjoying during our stay. We also received ice cream, brought to our site after check-in by one of the owners. All in all, lots of nice, little surprises here. The only negative is that there's trains running through town which you can hear at night if you're a light sleeper. I sleep like a log, so I didn't hear a thing. I would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park sits on a beautiful piece of property and is run by a very friendly couple. I believe there was a recent change in management/ownership and the new managers expressed their intent to introduce numerous improvements. They were quite warm and welcoming, serving us ice cream on our arrival. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stayed at this park 2 nights - once going out to the West Coast and once again on the return trip. The park has new owners as of this spring and they are very friendly. The park is very clean. The only down-side is that you have to drive through a pretty rundown part of town to get to the park. The owners came around with free ice cream each night. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Typical KOA - lots of huge trees, not much capital expenditure in the past. Several loads of gravel would help the recently rained upon sites; we tracked a lot of mud & dirt in. The park has enthusiastic (and nice) new owners this spring; they have plans to upgrade stuff as possible. They've trimmed up trees & done pool work already. The interior roads are in good shape. We live in a 40' MH - maybe some sites have satellite abilities, but not many & not ours. But, a nice bonus - they offer free WiFi. Cool! The owners would like to add some E/W only big-rig sites with no trees. Keep that thought! When are the rest of the KOA people going to discover the Big-Rig consumer??? The location is good - you can walk to town with not too much effort. The MT-DOT lot behind the park offered early morning noise. This is one of the easiest KOAs to get in and out of we've found - 3 sides have city streets. Be sure to drive in from the highway by their directions - there is a low bridge in the middle of town. We camped here in a Motorhome.
