Check in was easy, but driving through this park was not. It is extremely tight. There are many cars parked everywhere in every direction, so trying to keep the tiny streets as one way streets is difficult. Unfortunately we were relegated to the G section which means grass sites. No streets to get there. You just drive on the grass and the ground beneath is very rough with lots of holes. They force people to park very close together. We could hear our neighbors talk when both of our windows were closed. That's how close we were together. Two sites share an electrical box and a water faucet. It is possible to park so close in this area, that slides cannot be used on adjoining sites. We found this park to be extremely overpriced for the difficult conditions. On a good note, it is located where you can easily get to the tourist sites in the area. We plan to never stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were here for one night. While this is everything it claims, it is too manicured for my taste. The distance between sites was too small and there was no privacy. To its credit, there appears to be much socializing. Many are here for the season. They have a daily BYOB happy hour. They do charge 50 cents/day for one dog. Our rate reflects the Good Sam discount. While the park is very clean and well kept, we feel we are in a city. The tow cars or trucks are parked on the street in front of the RV's so there is only one-way traffic. This gives the park a very claustrophobic feeling. Staff was very friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park with friendly staff. They were very helpful as we worked to get our refrigerator repaired. The grounds are immaculately kept, level sites, nice patios and picnic tables. The navigation between sites is pretty tight, we had to ask people to move their cars so that we could get in and out. Views are great! It is walking distance to shopping, which was nice. This was the Good Sam rate. This is a wonderful park. Very quiet, well groomed, and spacious sites. Wonderful views of surrounding mountains. Camp hosts very friendly. Pool and hot tub were immaculate. There are lots of beautiful evergreen trees and all sites have concrete patios and picnic tables. We loved this park and would definitely stay again. We stayed here two nights. The place is great and would definitely return. The pads are gravel and are level, there is a cement patio with a picnic table on each site. The staff are great and they have a happy hour each night which is a get together by the pool at 4:30. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed her for a month and a half, and loved it the whole time. I don't know the actual nightly rate. We got a monthly rate for the month we stayed, and then a nightly rate for the other nights, plus Good Sam discount. This area is spectacular, especially if you love the water. The campground is quiet, the staff are friendly and helpful, the place is well managed and clean. Large grassy off leash dog run. Grass between each site. Large trees throughout. Not a lot of space between sites, but enough. Views of the Mission Range from the campground. Golf right next door. Bike trail access from the park driveway. I'd stay here again gladly. This is a very nice campground in a very small little town. The sites are paved and level, and the grass is beautifully maintained. Some of the turns on the interior roads are a bit tight but we managed just fine. Rate reflects Good Sam discount, plus the additional charge for my daughter (which, in my opinion, is a complete rip-off that campgrounds have mostly all adopted now). Very tidy and clean with well maintained pull through spots. Nice little grassy area with clean picnic table beside gravel driveway. Nice and quiet with a clean pool and hot tub. A very clean park, nice pull thru sites and very good staff / hosts. Did not encounter the negatives in other reviews. Did not use their washrooms or laundry. Very nice, clean park. We were given what they called a pull through lot. It wasn't long enough to park our trailer and pickup so we had to park our pickup down the street in a parking area: very inconvenient! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Like a previous reviewer I am also having difficulty in accrediting this park with a numerical value. At 'check in' the staff were warm, friendly and welcoming. They escorted us to our designated site and ensured that we were fully established before leaving us. About 50% of the park residents appeared to be either seasonal or monthly guests The park is in three distinctive parts. The original (in which we were parked) near the pool, has plenty of mature trees to provide some much welcomed shade. The newer side has less in the way of mature trees to provide any shade. The third section is located between the tent area and maintenance yard. These sites are grass only without any gravel or hard standing. They do however, have full hook ups. In total it now appears that there are approximately 69 sites on this park. For this number of available pitches, there is only one washroom block containing only two showers and two toilet stalls in each of the male and female sections. There is only one hand washing sink, making it difficult to wash your hands if it is already in use. The toilet stalls are best described as 'compact' and would be a challenge to the less agile or more mature build. I found them to be spotlessly cleaned daily. There are two washing machines and dryers priced at $1.25 and 75c respectively but no machine for change if the office is closed. The washrooms and laundry are not accessible to the wheelchair disabled. There is a decent pool and hot tub area, childrens' climbing frame, pickle ball courts and a basket ball hoop. For those parked adjacent to the pool there is a gentle hum emitted 24hours per day from the shed housing the pump. The grassy areas between the sites are neatly mowed and serviced by the irrigation system: so make sure you don't leave anything out that you don't mind getting wet during the night. The water, electric and sewer worked well. There is cable TV but I didn't use this during my stay. The free Wi-Fi is pretty slow and occasionally difficult to access despite having three options to log on to. Many a time I was denied access but being tenacious I eventually got there. On Thursdays there is a truck that drives around the site and will top up your propane for a very reasonable rate. I thought this services was very useful as it saved me heading out to a gas station to look for propane. Nearby and within a five minute walk is a Safeway and Wal-Mart. My biggest concern for this RV Park appears to be something that nobody else has mentioned. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights a local nightclub/bar was disturbingly noisy. These premises are located a good 4-500 yards away on an elevated position overlooking the RV Park across open fields. The thumping, pulsating beat was quite audible until 1 and 2am: depending on the night of the week. The clientele and DJ were also quite audible but incomprehensible. As nobody else has made mention of this, perhaps I was just unlucky with the weekend I was here! The rate indicated is the weekly rate. I would return if in the area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I'm having trouble giving a number rating to this park. The location is nice, the park is very pretty and well-maintained, the staff and workampers all seem friendly and work hard. The sites are level, with nice grassy areas in between and a convenient (but small) concrete patio and picnic table and there is shade in one section but another with fewer trees so that satellite access is easy. The negatives: Restrooms and showers are small for a campground this size and if the pool is being heavily used, they get a lot of traffic. There are only two washers and dryers, which is not enough. There is only one trash station, at the entrance to the park. We had a reservation for a pull-through but when we got there we were told they gave it away to someone who wanted it for a month (we were reserved for a week and had called a month in advance) and put us in a back-in site. The friends we were meeting there were told this might be a possibility for their preferred site but we were not. Even if we had been told I think it's a wrong policy, but not having been told made it more annoying. That said, we had a nice site with a view of the golf course, so it worked out OK. The park seems to cater to long-term (i.e., all or most of the summer) guests and there are lots of activities and impromptu social events. Short-term guests might feel a bit left out, unless you like it that way. On balance, a nice place, but with some inconveniences -- and that reservation policy -- that prevent me from falling in line with everyone else and giving it a higher rating. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The sites are very nice and have plenty of space with grass and a concrete patio with picnic table at each site. The roads are paved and the park is extremely clean. About 1/3 of the sites are occupied by RV'ers who pay by the month to stay here. This is our second time here and we are staying for 2 months. There's no mud here and the park has a recycling program. The park is adjacent to a cherry orchard on one side and a 27 hole golf course on another. Very nice. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

After almost two weeks of dry camping at Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, we were delighted to stop for a couple of days at this park with full hook-ups, cable TV, and WiFi. The park is immaculately maintained, with large shaded level sites and attractive landscaping. The staff and guests were very friendly and invited us to their happy hour in the gazebo. The nearby Wal-Mart and Safeway were convenient for replenishing supplies. Polson appears to be a quaint and pleasant town on Flathead Lake, and we wish we had more time to explore. We would return to this park again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

If you're looking for resort camping, this is the place! Fantastically level sites, concrete walkway at site, beautiful grass; cherry orchard borders campground. Golf course next door. This is a meticulously, well kept park. It is a small park with very thick grassy sites, concrete patios and sidewalks. There was plenty of parking if you cannot put your tow vehicle in the same spot. Mature trees throughout the park. They have a small pool and jacuzzi. The staff was friendly and helpful. Previous posts talked about poor Wi-Fi: the park has fixed that problem, the Wi-Fi works great and is fast. What a great place to stay and relax for a few days. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We love this place! It's not on the lake, but we have an awesome view of the mountains, and we also have a huge cherry orchard next to us. The folks that work here are the best! There is much we like about this park. It's small with spacious sites, has a nice community feeling, friendly staff and is conveniently located near a grocery store, Wal-Mart and town. We had a nice shady site and still had satellite. (How often does that happen?) We stayed two weeks and found the Wi-Fi the most frustrating experience we've had since we started RVing. While we were there, the park put up antennas for three new Wi-Fi networks. Our computer could see the networks, but getting and maintaining an internet connection was a rare event. And, this park advertises that every site has Wi-Fi! Clearly they are working on the issue, but until that issue is resolved, our rating is far short of a 10. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We thought we were going to be passing through Polson with one night's stay at the Eagle's Nest Campground. The next morning we decided to stay for 3 days - by the end of the second day we decided to stay for 8 days. This is a quiet park, very friendly and helpful staff, paved roads, lots of thick grass, great amenities, close to a quaint town and Flathead Lake. The view is second to none with Glacier Park nearby. We plan to come back next year. This is one of the best we have stayed in in 8 years of RVing. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We loved this campground. It is close to shopping areas, walking paths, and the golf course. Our only complaint: the Wi-Fi was very undependable but the owners are aware and trying to get it fixed. You can still go in the recreation center and hook up directly. All the previous reviews are right. One of the best parks we've been to. We hope to come back in the future. Eagle Nest RV Resort is the best in the area. It is a small, well groomed, locally owned park with wonderful hosts who are very friendly. Everyone is invited to a DAILY social hour at 4:30 at the gazebo. This is where you get all the information about Glacier National Park and other areas of interest. We are professional musicians so we offered to do a show the last night we were there and everyone turned up to sing along with us. Probably the best aspect of the park is the two Pickleball courts. We played every day. There are paddles and balls in the office if you forget yours. The location is great for getting groceries or going to Glacier. This is a place one could spend a few days or a summer. We loved it and will try to get back at the end of our summer travels. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The friendliest RV park we have been to! The hosts and owners go out of their way to make you feel at home. We had beautiful views of the next door golf course and surrounding mountains. Convenient Safeway and Wal-Mart very close by. Excellent Wi-Fi is provided free of charge. Our Verizon and Satellite dish worked well. It is close to many attractions. All sites have a small paved patio area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Loved the "geezer/golfer" comment by a previous reviewer. I certainly understand why he/she wrote that. We stayed for 2 days and most of the occupied sites were one or both of those. Many of them appeared to be seasonals or at least extended stays. There were some younger people and some kids (possibly with their grandparents?). So, it wasn't just us oldies. The park itself has FHU, good cable, WIFI, and a pool (a rarity in this area). Sites are more than adequate but big rigs will probably have to unhook. The park is very neat and well kept. Walmart (not a Super) and Albertsons are a 10-15 minute walk, and center of town about 2 miles. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Good place for a golfer or a geezer (we fit the latter description, but not the former). Nasty, neat park, without so much as a leaf out of place - very tidy. Half the park is very nicely treed - good shade. The WiFi stinks - we were not on the edge of the park, but could not get a signal. Otherwise, it is a very nice RV version of an upscale suburb. Beautiful park, a little hard to find. Spotless, well-landscaped grounds. Quiet. Very nice staff. Restrooms and showers were spotless, even though half were out of order. I can't imagine how they manage in the summer since the facilities are so small for this large a park. Laundry is not handicapped accessible. I think I remember that the men's bathroom was not ADA. Owner was planning to close laundry and restrooms the day after we arrived even though we had a 3-night reservation and several campers were in the park. I asked her to reconsider and she stayed open. We decided to leave early because of the various inconveniences and, even though the park was less than one-third full, she refused to refund the last night's fee. The most convenient dog walk is very small and the larger one is some distance away. This park came highly recommended and it's beautiful and clean, but it doesn't work for handicapped people and is difficult for those who can't walk very far with their dogs. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We found this to be a very nice, quiet RV type park (not campground). Access is thru a very nice manufactured home community and the park backs up to a golf course. We choose a back-in site along the back row, next to the golf course, for our 39' fifth wheel and crew cab. We felt these were the nicest sites. We had to disconnect and park the truck in the provided spot along the front of our site, but we had planned on using it to tour about anyway. The site was wide with grass and big trees, and an extra paved patio area with a table. The laundry was small but very clean, and I was the only one I ever saw using it. The bathrooms were clean, but seemed to have one shower stall out of order. The park is just down the road from a grocery and Wal-Mart, and very convenient to explore Flathead Lake and the cute town of Bigfork. We stayed two nites and would definitely return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park with grassy strips and concrete patios for each site. The owners obviously maintain this park. The WiFi does get overloaded at times. The cable TV is excellent. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a clean park with level gravel sites and small grass plots between sites. Pull-thus will handle the biggest of rigs, but the towed/tow may have to be parked in another location not far away. Streets are paved, but narrow. However, a big-rig can negotiate the roads. Many rules keep the park at a high quality and they are posted on their web page so we were aware of them before making a reservation. Personal on-site clothes line are not allowed which we can live with, but the bad part is that the campground does not have clothes lines by the laundry room that we could use. We were there during record-breaking temps and management asked everyone to use only one AC to keep from overloading the local grid. Campground host couples were friendly and customer-oriented. We are full-timers and stayed there two weeks. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was our first visit to this wonderful park located at the south end of beautiful Flathead Lake. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and the park is well maintained and clean. The mostly level gravel pads with adjoining cement patios are separated with strips of grass and there is adequate distance between rigs. The owners are tireless in their efforts to upgrade and maintain this park. Cable TV is very good, the free WiFi, although overloaded with users at times, was adequate, and the pool and spa were very well maintained. We would return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We will be here for 5 nights, and it is a pretty campground, but sites are really close together unless you are one of the lucky ones backed up to the golf course. When making your reservation maybe request Row A unless they do not allow you to request a particular site. WIFI is, as one reviewing stated, yo-yo. Sometimes you can get on and other times you cannot. There are lots of trees and birds, which we enjoy, and convenient to the Safeway with good walking paths or sidewalks. There are only two washers and two dryers and with a campground this size needs more. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

The park itself is a 10, beautifully treed, level gravel sites with concrete patio & picnic table, and asphalt streets. Wonderful & friendly management & owners on site. This was a very nice park. The owners are working very hard to get all the sites ready for the up coming summer season. They are putting in new services and cement patios. The staff are all very friendly and want you to be happy. The pool and spa are nice. The sites are adequate in size and all have a little cement patio with a picnic table. The spots along the North fence back up to a golf course. There are nice views of the Mission Mountain range. These people just can't do enough to make your stay a good one. We would stay here again. This is a very nice park. Family owned and managed very well. Sits adjacent to Polson golf course, and you can walk to the club house from the park. Sites are level with patios, and designated parking. Close to town and shopping. Views of Flathead Lake as you leave the park, but not from the park. It's hard to rate this campground, as I would give the location and sites themselves a 9. It is quiet on the outskirts of town, adjacent to a farm and a public golf course, with a nice view of the hills. The sites are pull-through, paved interior, with shade trees in one area. There is a pool and a spa. WIFI worked great. You can walk to a new Wal-Mart, Safeway, and restaurant. My lower rating is because of the rotating host staff, all of whom seemed to be bored, just putting in their time, and offended if you dare interrupt them. The pool was shut down for cleaning for extended periods during the day, as "too many children had been swimming in it". The pool table in the rec centre was not avalable for a couple of days because the balls were "stuck" and the owner who could fix it away for a couple of days. Of the two clean and comfortable women's showers, one had a ripped shower curtain hanging by a thread. Over the phone, the staff person said there was a nice public beach within walking distance. We arrived with excited children a few days later only to be told that the beach had "swimmer's itch" and it wasn't recommended at the best of times. The "playground" advertised was a basketball hoop and one swing. If the facilities were better maintained, this would be an very enjoyable and attractive camping spot. We camped in a 37-foot motorhome in August 2005. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Probably the best park in Polson, at least it's better than one of the others for big rigs, very long sites, do not have to unhook toads to get in or out, great access and close walk to lake. Signage to campground a little confusing. Area to park and register. Office staff friendly and efficient. Large landscape car park site with angled wide pull through style with some landscaping -little grass. Well maintained wide paved access roads. Services on site in good location for easy hook-up. Electricity solid and water pressure good. The campground was quiet and was easy to walk into town across the river. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I have stayed at the local KOA and drove through Eagle Nest park. This park puts them both to shame for big rigs. The KOA sites are on a terrace and Eagle Nest is an old, crowded park. The pads are very long: I'd guess 90 feet. Good 50amp service which worked overtime. It was almost 100 degrees outside most of the time of my stay and both air conditioners worked almost continuously. Only negative: the Wi-Fi signal on pad 34 was very weak. I had to setup my HughesNet system. I will stay here again when in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was not our first stay nor will it be our last. On a previous visit we stayed with one of the competitors and this park is better, in fact, we think it is the best in the area. Prices run somewhat higher than one might expect but Polson is a rapidly-developing "resort" destination. We enjoyed a wonderful corner site and appreciated the free WiFi. Be aware that one perimeter of the park provides RV & boat storage and the rest of the perimeter has permanent manufactured homes, many are new and nice. All residents and guests seemed friendly and compatible. We loved it here! We camped here in a Motorhome.

By far, the nicest RV Park in the Flathead Lake/Polson area. Very, very long paved pull-throughs with excellent big rig ingress and egress. This is our second stay here and, since out last visit, they've added free wifi,done major landscaping, and made it a really nice place. And, unlike the KOA down the road, their advertising is accurate and representative of the camgground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This RV park is run by some of the nicest people I've ever met. Park is excellent with good, level, paved sites. Only complaint is that they only have a very, very small restroom and shower area. But it is first class and I would highly recommend it. We camped here in a Motorhome.

While not a fan of KOA, this one can make you a believer that there is hope for other KOAs. The staff was excellent as were the work campers. There is a lot of maintenance being done and it shows. The roads are gravel and the sites have grass with room between sites. Not all sites have sewer and 50amp but it does not detract from a well run campground. Water and electric were good. Thee are great views of the Mission mountains and Flathead Lake This might be the only KOA we would come back to. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We LOVED this park! We camped in the class A part of the campground and had a magnificent view of Flathead lake and the mountains from our site. Park is immaculate, and lots of opportunities to socialize. We will definitely stay here again, hopefully longer next time. (We stayed here for 18 nights, and hated to leave). The staff is friendly, and very helpful. We had friends staying in the KOA, and they were delighted with their facilities also. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is one of the better places to stay anywhere. Excellent and friendly staff. On site owners. Sites are excellent with plenty of space. We were able to stay in the new owner/rental sites which are superb. The area offers great attractions for visitors and the campground has a great handout on the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is what an RV park should be about. The staff are friendly. The grass and roads are watered. They fog the area for bugs when needed. We upgraded to a front spot and had an excellent view of Flat Head. One work camper hopes he can keep coming back every year and that in itself says it all in my opinion. This is the third KOA I have camped at since buying a travel trailer and I have to say it is way ahead of the other two. We came here by default after checking straight out of our original location without having stayed a night.  That camp ground/resort was in a city about 50 miles from here, so not just around the corner.  Prior to just turning up we phoned and I expected to be told the resort was full or they could only accommodate us for a couple of nights which is why I only asked for that time, in order to give me breathing space to find somewhere for longer.  On our arrival the girls at the reception worked so keenly to find us a suitable site it got a little confusing.  They both wanted to help, but ended up working against each other and got mixed up with exactly what sites were available and for how long.  Once we got that sorted out we ended up with a premium site with uninterrupted views across the Flathead Lake to the Mission Mountains. The going rate for this site is just over $57 a night which includes a long gravel site, a large concrete patio, gas bar-be-que, and a coated iron table and chairs.  Services at this site included 50, 30 and 20 amp electrical outlets, twin water taps and two sewer drops. Our 25' travel trailer fitted onto this without any problem so that both doors opened onto the patio.  We had shade provided by a couple of well maintained trees. The remainder of the grounds are well looked after which easily shows when you view the resort.  Every site is level from front to rear, but we had to level slightly from side to side and I noticed that many others had to do the same.  The private showers are impeccably clean and provide ample hot water at a good pressure. The washrooms are regularly cleaned and maintained.  Both are tastefully decorated with tiles and are located in the main reception building, but are accessible 24/7.  The main reception remains open until 10pm and offers a good range of last minute provisions, gifts and RV accessories.  The laundry is located in the same building with washers costing $1.75 and dryers .75c a load.  I didn't use my TV so cannot give an account of that, but the free Wi-Fi worked very well and we could easily stream shows to our computer.  There is a small swimming pool and 'adult only' spa tub.  These appeared to close around 9.45pm during our time at the resort. Adjacent to this is the Green Bean expresso bar, serving an assortment of coffees, teas, ice creams and blended drinks throughout the day. A large, covered deck area looking across the lake is available to sit and enjoy these tasty offerings while taking in the stunning views.  You could also sit and watch the large flat screen TV if the mood takes you.   The staff are amongst the most friendly, welcoming and accommodating I have ever met.  There are several social events during the week although we didn't participate; these include an all you can eat pancake breakfast for $7 and live music evenings (free).  If there is one drawback to this place it is the close proximity of the Polson airport. Not a major problem for me as I enjoy watching light aircraft and helicopters flying around but some may find it more of an annoyance.  The town of Polson has several good grocery stores and plenty of local attractions to see as well as easy access to the lake.  The night before we were due to depart I was able to persuade my wife that we could stay another night and once again the staff came up trumps and accommodated this late change.   I would have stayed even longer, but something called work was beckoning and I had to return home. I will certainly stay here again when in the area.  We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We had a site with a deck. Walked the dog in the morning and saw a deer every morning in the meadow. Close to the lake and has shade trees. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great park with all the amenities and friendly staff anxious to make your stay unforgettable. We stayed an extra couple of days because of the scenery, the pleasantness, and the wonderful new facilities and campsites. Only a mile from the delightful town of Polson and easy access to Glacier Park. Certainly one of the nicest RV parks we have seen. We camped in a motorhome on the 3rd level. We give it the highest marks. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at this park before, the first time in 1994. The are also a Motor Coach Resort with some outstanding views of Flathead Lake and the mountains behind. Just watching the sunrise is a experience that you will remember the rest of your life. Definitely make an attempt to stay here for a couple of days, you will not regret it. This is our favorite KOA. When things did not work out at another park, we called to sneak in a night early. They welcomed us and went out of their way to assist us. The site was wide and easy to get in and the views spectacular. The pet area is fenced and well kept up. On the bottom of this scenic park is a RV resort for class A motorhomes. Not a blade of grass out of place and overall the entire park is very neat and clean. We he stayed here many times and will in the future. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in the new "Luxury RV Sites" and they were fantastic! Wonderful staff, world-class views of Mission Mountains and Flathead Lake. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This hillside campground with sweeping views of Flathead Lake has something of a split personality. There is an older KOA section (“Polson/Flathead Lake KOA”), with mature trees, well-maintained grass-covered grounds, average site width and, on many sites, individual wooden decks. Then, there is a new “luxury RV” section (“Polson Motorcoach & RV Resort”), with extra-large, very well appointed and individually owned spaces, apparently without KOA affiliation. The “luxury” spaces, which are restricted to Class A motor homes of at least 30 feet, have unobstructed views of the lake and surrounding mountains and their own website, www.polsonrvresort.com. An admitted owner of one of the “luxury” spots, in seeming violation of RVPR rules, wrote the May 2010 review that appears on this page, and I suspect that another owner also may have written the August 2009 encomium. This is a nice park, but not “the nicest KOA in the system.” There is a fenced pet area, about 70 feet by 50 feet, a volleyball court and half-court basketball. Wi-Fi strength and speed and water pressure were very good. Daily rates range from $35 (30 amp water and electric), through $45 plus (50 amp full hookups) to $65 (luxury spaces). I suspect that the thefts reported by an earlier reviewer were an aberration, as this park is well off the highway on its own access road and a mile north of town. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Campers should be aware there are thefts in the area. Perhaps that is the case everywhere, but we had our Coleman cooler stolen. A number of other campers had their coolers stolen: the beer removed and then the coolers dumped on the road. This is not what we expected from a KOA. We are not naive campers, either. Wireless internet is terrible here. If you are going to advertise it, make it decent: we could barely connect. We will not return to this particular KOA. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is it!! We have been Rving for 12 years and keep coming back. This park is the nicest KOA in the system in our opinion and once the Resort is completed, this RV Resort will compete with the best in the country. Flathead Lake and the Mission Mountains are breath taking and there is much to see and do in the immediate area. This was our 7th season here and we seem to enjoy it more each year. As the previous reviewer noted, there are really 2 parks here: What remains of the KOA and the area that is being turned into a high end RV resort. I was here last year and it appears that the only reason the KOA part is still here is the downturn in the economy. According to the workcampers with whom I spoke, the KOA part will be gone once they sell enough of the resort lots. Being a Class C, we stayed in the KOA part. It is still well run with good sites and facilities. I and a number of guests I spoke to will be sorry to see the KOA disappear to make way for "progress" for the well-heeled. We took a 4 month cross country trip in our MH and wound up staying here for a month. It was by FAR the best place in Montana and one of the best of our trip. The owners are wonderful people and make you personally feel welcome each and every day. We stayed in the KOA section and loved it but either would be fine with us. We live in New Hampshire and are about 95% sure we are going to make a month's reservation there for next year and bring the granddaughter with us. As far as the "theft" complaint, Sounds like nonsense to us as we left our Harley out all the time and never had any such concerns,maybe they are just "unlucky" people. This is a fantastic park. The owner is so friendly and is there to help. We stayed here for two nights after buying our motorhome and he happily answered as many questions as we could throw at him. The store was great for buying the things we forgot & some great gifts. The park is transitioning from a KOA to Polson Motorcoach & RV Resort. Highly recommend! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Since we were going to be around Flathead Lake for at least a week, we decided to try several parks. As noted, the park is being converted. Too bad, it is a decent park with good facilities, and without it the park I prefer (Eagle's Nest) will be harder to get into. One reason I stayed here was that it seemed to be a little closer to downtown Polson. It was maybe a mile and a half (vs. 2 from Eagle's Nest). Also, a previous reviewer ranted about the park's advertising being deceitful because the park was (according to the reviewer) "miles" from the lake. Actually, from the park to US 93 is about 500 yards - where the only thing between you and the lake are some lakeside homes. So, the lake is less than a mile from the park. If you need to misrepresent the facts to support your negative opinion, your opinion loses all credence. Oh well, another decent park lost to progress(?). We camped here in a Motorhome.

The campground is being converted to a RV motorhome resort. New lots were being developed at the front of the campground which are for sale. The sites behind the construction area are the original KOA sites that are available to rent at this time. Eventually, as the new lots are sold, the old lots will be reconstructed in phases and sold. Our site was a pull-through with a cement patio, gas grill, and patio set. There was beautiful view of Flathead Lake. The campground is clean with a hot tub and pool. The hot tub worked about 50% of our stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was our first stay at a KOA, and the shared facilities were very nice and clean. Our kids enjoyed the playground and the pool. We didn't have time for the mini-golf. Note: the pool closed at 7:45PM, which seemed early since the sun sets closer to 10pm this time of year. (It opened again at 10AM for families after an adult swim hour.) A small grassy off leash dog run was convenient to our site. The only downside was that there was major construction going on adjacent (expanding the park maybe?), and the heavy equipment was moving dirt and beep-beep-beeping very EARLY in the morning (by 7AM). You might call ahead to see the status of that construction if you are not an early riser. Overall, this park was a fine choice since the amenities appealed to the kids, but in the future, we would probably look for a place right on Flathead lake instead. We saw a few the next morning on the drive to Glacier. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is now at the top of our list for "Do Again". Our only problem was that there was no room available to extend our stay. Next year we'll stay at least 2 weeks. WiFi is free but slow, it's OK and it seems the best they can do given the location. We had a fabulous view of the valley and the lake. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Best KOA we have stayed in since beginning our RV life. Friendly and helpful staff, great views from most sites and generally quiet location except for the occasional general aviation aircraft landing at the nearby airport. In 30 years of RV'ing, this campground's website is the most misleading I have ever witnessed. These people have discovered the magic of telephoto lens to make you think the property is adjacent to Flathead Lake. Don't believe it. It is miles away. They have a photo of a guy sitting in a field overlooking the lake but the lake is miles from him. They have another photo of a hayride with people going by the lake, again miles away, but brought close with a telephoto lens. The roads are not good, and the sites are not as advertised in terms of depth and width. Do not stay here if you want a quality campground on the lake. If you must come, either reserve only one night until you see for yourself, or, better yet, stay at the Flathead River RV Park a couple of miles nearer Polson as it has long, long paved pull-throughs, and great views of the mountains. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park. Friendly owners and staff and big spaces. Only problem was the cable TV. Blurry and/or full of static. We stayed in two different spaces and the cable was bad in both. However, our satellite worked just fine so poor cable wasn't such a big deal to us. We would stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is the nicest Motorcoach / KOA Resorts in the entire country perhaps the world and universe. Montana is beautiful, this place lets you enjoy it fully. You MUST check out this beautiful, unique and high quality place on beautiful Flathead Lake.From the minute you arrive, you know you are home and in a place where 5 Star treatment begins. Each and every Polson RV Employee,as well as the owners are the nicest people in the world and make sure you have anything and everything you need to be comfortable, and happy.Each fully equipped spot offered a million dollar view, with the benefits of the full comforts of a fine resort. Our 7 kids loved the pool, the putt-putt, as well as the dilish pancake breakfast. Our entire visit was a great experience, and we are thinking about buying our own piece of heaven.Oh yes, we were able to do all our holiday shopping in the awesome gift shop. The nicest RV place we've stayed at period. Note that there are "owned" individual sites as well as those owned by the resort, and they're only for Class A rigs less than 10 years old. The owner sites are nicer with amenities (paved driveways, gas outdoor fireplaces, etc). The sites owned by the resort are smaller & generally just gravel driveways. It's worth it to get an owned site for a little more $ for the stay if you're going to be around for more than a few days. One down side is there are no shade trees, unlike the KOA which is just above the resort on a hillside which is nicely shaded. They'll schedule a mobile wash service to come out & give your rig a top to bottom scrub including the roof: our cost was $85. It was worth it. Overall a nice place, will definitely consider coming here again if we decide to come back to the Flathead Lake/Glacier NP area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is hands down the best RV park we've ever visited. Went for a week and stayed for a month. The sites are not pull through in order to take advantage of a spectacular view of Flathead Lake with mountain in the background, from the edge of one of the tiers facing the lake. But they are easy to get in and out of and the park is easy to find. Sites are large, facilities are clean and very well kept. Lots are available for sale or lease. Not all sites are paved, as owners usually like to select their own finishes, such as stamped concrete patterns. If you lease an owners lot, you'll likely get the best views and often additional amenities, such as outdoor kitchens, fire pits, dining and living areas. The staff is excellent; very friendly and helpful. There is plenty to do in this area. Glacier National Park, the Bison Range, lake activities and a sporting clays range are all nearby, along with several nice communities to explore. During the summer, the owners' little girl will come and walk your dogs for a small fee, if you are going away for the day. But perhaps the most unique aspect is the sense of community the resort seems to have achieved, with the owners holding regular social activities and going out of their way to ensure you meet other occupants and regularly checking to see if you need anything. We will probably be spending our summers at this resort from now on. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed in the owner sites up front (Class A only) and got the best site there, with a view to die for. The staff is marvelous, the park is first rate -- luxury sites, many with patio furniture, barbecues, sinks, etc. Ours had a two-tier paved living section and we loved it so much we extended our stay. Views of Flathead Lake and the Mission Mountain. range, plus the sunsets and stars at night over Polson -- we had a full moon during our stay -- AMAZING. We will definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park. I don't give a 10 easily, but the owner works hard to earn it. This is a terraced resort with 4 levels. All have a view of Flathead lake, the higher the terrace, the better the view. Many of the lots are owned and rented back, so the amenities at each lot will vary. The park is impeccably clean, the landscape is trimmed and healthy, and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is a new fenced dog park with lush grass next to a large fountain. An espresso shop is next to the office and Sunday breakfast is served on the large wood deck for a small fee. A local newspaper is delivered to your rig every morning. The owner personally delivered a "welcome bag" the first day, as is his custom to all new guests. The only negative I could find during our one week stay was the small private plane airstrip that is is positioned between the park and the main road. 95% of the time the airstrip was a non issue. One morning at 7 AM a small plane took off and circled the airstrip 4 or 5 times before heading off. Most of the time the air traffic is light and hardly noticed. This park is not cheap, but the nicest resorts usually aren't. I would highly recommend this resort, and I would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed 31 nights and plan to return next year. The view of mountains and Flathead lake are awesome. The facility is perfectly groomed, the staff always cheerful and 100% willing to help in any way. The roads are paved, extensive grass, excellent pet area and Irvine Flats road that runs behind it is great for walking with hills and low traffic flow. The town of Polson has lots of shops and good restaurants. Numerous day trip possibility's from Glacier NP in the north to National Bison range to the south, trips around beautiful Flat head lake and excellent local museums. The owners do all those little things to make your stay enjoyable for a day or month. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We really, really liked this "home base" for our adventure in Polson. The sites are wide and spacious; the landscaping is lush and gorgeous (but without annoying trees to block satellite, etc). Grounds are meticulously maintained; trash is picked up curbside, and the local newspaper at your door every morning. The owner of the resort is friendly, knowledgeable and one of the hardest-working people we have ever met. The lake and mountain views from our site (156) were spectacular! The private airstrip next door was a "plus" for my plane-enthusiast husband. It is not a noisy place to stay, however. In fact, there are no negatives to this resort that we could see. Hubby wanted to give it a 10. I give it a 9, only because I think the rate is a tad too high. This is a spot for big rigs; most have their own laundry, showers, etc. This is basically a level, well-maintained parking space with a nice view. A pool & spa would have made the $65 reasonable. However, the rate won't stop us from returning. In fact, we won't stay anywhere BUT here in Polson! Swanee's across the street has good food, on the water. The owner gave us lots of other good suggestions as well. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nightly rate reflects a negotiated monthly rate; we would not stay here at the higher nightly rate. If we had not paid a month in advance upon check in, we would have left. Labeling a campground as a "RV Resort" does not make it so! The resort is laid out in four tiers, with 20 sites per row. The bottom row and top row is back in only. The resort sits beneath a KOA campground overlooking Flathead lake and an airstrip. We were located on the bottom tier and found it to be hot, noisy and with no view of the lake. There is only one bath house for the resort area located on the second tier, so to use it, you must drive up or walk up a steep hill. There is no separate pool for the resort part of the campground, nor workout facility and only two washing machines. We are allowed to use the KOA showers and wash area but it is located at the very top of the campground and is very crowded. Having stayed at other resorts, I find this one sadly lacking in amenities associated with using the adjective "resort." The staff are very friendly and helpful, the office area is nice and if I were in the KOA part of the park, I would like it better! It's shaded, you have a wonderful view of the lake and you don't have to climb a steep hill to reach the facilities. If you are coming through the area and have children I recommend staying in the KOA campground and by passing the so called "resort." We camped here in a Motorhome.

Amazing 10 star park!! The owners are helpful and extremely friendly. The park is just beautiful. Lots of open space and green lawn. We had a view lake lot. We would recommend this park to any Class A Motorcoach. You will not be disappointed! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very beautiful owner's resort that still offers rental lots. The views are magnificent, overlooking Flathead Lake and Mission Mountains. Lots are large and private. Host and his staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We visited Glacier National Park from this location, which was about 45 minutes away. There's a small airport with a runway just in front of the park, but the planes take off and land only a few times a day, not at night while we were here. It's so great to see the small planes and there was really no noise to speak of. Beautiful resort: we would return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Exclusive for Class A Motorcoaches with panoramic views of Flathead Lake and the Mission Mountains. Owners of the adjacent KOA have developed this First Class park. We checked in for 2 nights and now plan to stay a week. Enjoyed day trips to some of Montana's most beautiful countryside and wilderness. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park has wonderful views if you pay for a premium motorhome site. We stayed in the motorcoach only section. It is nice, new, clean, with a friendly staff. We cannot give this park a 10 because it is not complete. Also, it is very expensive, no security, site un-paved and facilities are shared with the KOA. (Why do some rate this a 10? If there is room for improvement then it is not a 10.) They are working on this park and the owners are doing it with great care and attention. We would recommend this park and we would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A great location with wide, landscaped lots and views of Flathead Lake and the Mission Mountains. Owner is very accommodating and the staff provided an escort to our site. Daily trash pick-up and free WiFi is included. This is a 'do not miss' resort in a first class location with an easy drive to tour Glacier National Park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is our third year coming to this beautiful resort. The first two years, we were a renter but this year we are an owner. The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable and always around to help when needed. The restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities in the resort are spotless. The cable TV works great as well as their Wi-Fi and they even pick up the trash at your site every day. And, as an added bonus, they make the best pancakes on Sunday mornings that we have ever had. We plan on spending the entire summer here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

As stated in previous reviews, this is two parks: a KOA and an upscale motorcoach resort. The resort will one day, be an amazing destination resort. However, at this point only about 45 sites are finished and/or sold, and the planned clubhouse, tennis courts, and pool seem to be on hold. Sites are being offered for sale and then it appears, go in to a rental pool (like Outdoor Resorts, Sunland, etc.) Be sure to request a pull-in with a view of Flathead Lake (I like sites 154 thru 158 and 172 thru 181). All sites are huge concrete pads with a large grassy area and many of the sold sites are beautifully upgraded. It's important to note that you will have an outstanding view of Flathead Lake, but in the foreground you will have a small airport. We love watching the planes take off and land (not too busy) although some may not. A huge plus for us is the daily site trash pick-up and newspaper delivery. The Wi-Fi is fast and solid, and there are about 60 cable channels. When this place is complete, you will not find a better resort in all of Montana. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I guess this is the right place to review the condo park that is attached to the KOA, but they really are 2 separate parks. We rented a space at the condo park, not the KOA. This is truly a first class RV park. Granted it is very new and the landscaping is still filling in in places, but it is great, nevertheless. The people were very friendly, the sites are beautiful with a distant view of the lake. Verizon broadband air card worked beautifully. Wi-Fi was good, too. Cable had 60 or so channels - just a first class park! We camped here in a Motorhome.
