The park went bankrupt a month ago. We were told that we could stay but many of the sites had electric and water that did not work. The roads were full of pot holes. It was obvious that no maintenance had been done on the park. Even the grass had not been mowed. The write up they had in the RPI book made this sound like paradise. We found it to be just the opposite and hooked the car up and left without staying. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We chose this park because the managment was very friendly on the phone and it is the only RV park near Omaha that is open year round. But that doesn't mean you'll get year round service. The sites seem wide in the winter mainly because there aren't that many people there. Once it fills up it looks like life will get cramped. The hook ups are difficult to find and are often shared between 4 sites... so bring extention cords and extra hoses (water & sewer). It took the managment 2 weeks to clear the interior roadways of snow. The exit, a seriously sloped experience, wasn't cleared for a month. I don't know how some of the newcomers came and went during that time. One fellow with a large Ford truck & 5th wheel plowed his way through a couple of sites to find parking. While impressive, it was a shame that more wasn't done to keep the roads clear. And no, it only snowed that one day & was clear the rest of the month. Bathrooms were closed. The rec room with modem, exercise equipment and laundry stayed open 24 hours. However, the locals smoke in there and the washers were rarely functioning. Up side, there is a marina attached on the Missouri River and the bald eagles were impressive. We probably wouldn't return to this park located 35 miles north of Omaha. We camped here in a Motorhome.
