This is a typical Nevada small town park with trees and some grass, however, it is rustic (no cable or internet). The owners are friendly, very helpful and accommodating. The spring fed hot baths are delightful and the high point of our stay. Each bath is private, with dressing room and pool. Be sure to take shower shoes as the stairs and pool bottom are hard on the feet (the pool bottoms are natural rock and sand). The water is pristine, has no mineral smell and does not dry out your skin. The park is pet friendly but be aware that a coyote walked right through by the back of our trailer so watch your pets. There are lovely views, the sites are pull through and large but the roads and sites are dirt. We stayed two nights in a fifth wheel and will stay again when traveling this way. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
A delightful find in the desert. Located about five miles north of Beatty on US 95. Campground dirt, under lots of cottonwood trees. The highlight are the natural hot springs which have been made into three pools of varying temperatures. Each pool is covered by a building for privacy and shade. Pools are extremely clean. This was a welcome find after a long day on the road. We would most definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a small park located on the highway. It has several private hot springs bathhouses that are included in the nightly price. Clean and perfect for that one night that you need to get off the road. It is also good for longer term to explore Death Valley area. We stay here every time we head south towards Vegas. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This park is now called Beatty RV Park (formerly Kay's Corral). I was thoroughly pleased with every aspect of our stay! The friendly park manager met us promptly as we pulled up. We were impressed with the wide pull through sites. The park also has high speed wireless internet so we were able to send e-mails and pictures from our trip and do our future travel planning on the lightning fast internet connection. The park is very cozy and has a row of mature trees that line the road boundary. It is also a great park if you are pet people as there is access to BLM land from the park. My Australian Shepherds were in heaven! Great hiking and views! I give Beatty RV Park my highest recommendation and will return on my next trip to Nevada! We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is very old and trashy mostly permanents used it in snow only vacancy in town would not use again only in a emergency We camped here in a Motorhome.
The park is being redone but the motel first it is under construction some sites the electric did not work and there were no restrooms or showers and you had to check-in at the north end of town at the motel and gas station which were new and clean with that said this was the best in town. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Campground is at the Beatty entrance to Death Valley State Park and a couple other nearby attractions. Sites are level, closely spaced with a few shady spots. Access roads while well maintained are dirt as are the pads. Management folks are friendly but not terribly helpful. Good place to stop if you're caught in a Nevada snow storm, otherwise head on down the road. We camped here in a camper.
All of the people camping here were permanent with the exception of 3 or 4 sites. A lot of them were very junky and unkept. Just a place to park, not a place to stay. Store is very well stocked and the people who run the park are friendly. The casino is too far to walk at night. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Not a bad place to stop for the night. It is in the middle of town about a block away from the casino. The park is a little more than the others in this small town, but I'm guessing that it's because of the proximity to the casino and Nut and Candy store. Upon registration, you receive coupons for free cocktails at the casino, so that is a plus. The small store is well stocked and they offer LP gas for those that need it. Small tight spaces, but level. Very accomodating owners that stayed open for us when we arrived at closing time. They kept the store's doors open for us when the lady asked us if we needed any supplies. Good place to stop for the night or two. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
