This campground is in Lake Mead National Rec Area. There are no hookups but water is available and there is a dump station. The park is quiet, clean and well maintained. We would come to this park again. It is a great location to visit Hoover Dam and Las Vegas. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

There are no hook ups at this Lake Mead National Recreation Area campground, but there is a dump station and water is available also. This is a basic but pleasant pleasant park and a good alternative to Lake Mead RV Village (which is right next door) if you don't need hook ups. We paid half the normal rate because we have a Federal Parks Senior Pass. We'd stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Boulder Beach for 28 days. If you want space, stay in the upper part of the campground. If you like bike riding and/or hiking, this is a good place where you can do either almost right out your front door. We were here in February so the park was very quiet. Walking up the canyons was amazing and we were fortunate to see Mountain Sheep in their natural habitat. The trail through the railroad tunnels is great either on foot or bicycle. The bathrooms are dated and old so we chose to use our own facilities. Otherwise, a nice place to park your RV and enjoy all that the area has to offer. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a privately owned RV Resort and all sites are rented out by the owners. Some are for sale if anyone is interested. Every site is a back-in with a concrete pad, full hook-ups, cable and Wi-Fi. Large enough for any size motorhome and plenty of space on the side. Very clean and well taken care of. This is basically an adult park and not really made for children. There is a clubhouse and other amenities but only if staying for an extended period of time. We were here for only 3 days. It's about 6 miles to Hoover Dam and Lake Meade and about 20 miles to Las Vegas. Our site had a view of the Lake although at a distance. Nice and quiet with no traffic noise. Great RV Park if visiting Hoover Dam, Lake Meade and Las Vegas. If we ever get back to this area, we would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

It is a nice park but definitely an adult community. Pool was a bit warm, but the temps were in the 100s. Site was large, and we had a view of part of Lake Mead - not worth the extra $ as it is too far away. Close to Hoover Dam and Las Vegas. They advertise a game room (pool table) but it is only available for owners. If you plan to be there for a month, I would recommend you look into private party rentals. The ones we saw while walking around the park were very nice and some with great views of the lake. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very nice park that could be a 10 except for barking dogs, speeding drivers, and too many permanents/workers. Does not really feel like a "resort", but the location is great, sites are large and level, everything is paved, and management is friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi at site is fast. We stayed here for 5 nights while visiting Las Vegas, Death Valley, and the Hoover Dam. We had a premium site which was exactly that. A view of Lake Meade, nicely landscaped and entirely paved. Good utilities well located. Very pleasant neighbors and nice office staff. All sites are back-in and the management leads you to your site. Escort noticed a few tree limbs contacted my coach so they immediately pruned them. Close to downtown Boulder City and Hoover Dam. A very pleasant stay. Easy to find using GPS address input. There were a few sites less desireable than ours with views of a storage area or next to less-than-desireable seasonals, but nothing that would ruin your stay. I would definitely return. This is really a snowbird owners destination, but they rent owner sites when not used, for transient use. Signage is very confusing as the name of the resort community out front is not Boulder Oaks. There is a small Boulder Oaks RV sign but you have to look for it. The sites identified as premium waterfront view (for which you pay extra) are a bit misleading. The view is only out the back (not helpful for a MH since there are essentially no view windows out the back), you look over and between other RV's, and the lake is about 10 miles away. The office closes at 5 PM so if you need something after that you are out of luck. However, the place is very clean, residential in nature, and the utilities were fine. Pool is nice, and laundry and restroom, though not convenient, were very clean. A bit pricey for what you get, but there is not much else in the area to choose from, for a big rig and the facility is well kept. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice resort with level concrete sites and a great location to Hoover Dam, Las Vegas and Lake Mead. All back in sites so no pull-throughs, but the owner will take you there and direct you in. Pretty quiet location for being in town. Internet got a little spotty at times. A great home base for the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The people in the office couldn't be nicer. When I made reservations, I told staff that I'm not very good at backing in (I usually get pull throughs). He said, "No problem, I'll back it in for you." staff made checking in a very pleasant experience. The rate is more than reasonable for everything that's included in the price even with $2 per night for electric use. Since I'm staying a week, I got one free night. My daughter is meeting me, and she's not a "camper". This is a "resort" so she'll be happy. It's conveniently located to everything we want to do while she's here, yet quiet. Cement pads which means "clean inside". Nicely landscaped. A place for dogs to walk with small play areas. I'm close to them and to the restrooms and showers so I have all the conveniences of home. I'm very happy that I chose Boulder Oaks and can't say enough nice things about it. I agree with the other poster--I'd give it a 12 if I could. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Excellent overnight spot away from the noise of Las Vegas. As stated by an earlier reviewer, these are privately owned spots which are rented out. Very quiet and nicely landscaped for the permanent residents, with level concrete pads. We saw a quail strolling through the patio of our neighbor. Our only problem was the 90-degree back-in on a slightly sloping street; it took hubby a few tries to get our 30-foot fiver straight! We would highly recommend this place if you're visiting Las Vegas but want some peace away from the hubbub. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is perhaps the nicest campground we have ever stayed in. Sites are owned by individuals and sublet back to the park for overnight rental. The site we are on, is a premium site that has a view of Lake Mead in the distance, and a wrought iron table with 6 chairs. Our site is landscaped with too many plantings to count, and landscape lighting. There is very few parts of the park that are not improved with landscaping, and concrete. The roads are all blacktop. The park does have a lot of rules, to maintain the ambiance. If you do not like to follow these rules, then this place would not be for you. There is a gravel campground across the street, where boats and trailers can be parked on a site, and most anything goes. The rate reflects the weekly registration, as they give the 7th night free. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Boulder Oaks is one of the nicest campgrounds we have been to. Maintained and groomed to the max. We met the owner, and he has been very helpful in finding things to do and offering assistance when we had vehicle difficulties. The area is quiet and convenient to Hoover Dam, Las Vegas, and has a nice view of Lake Mead. Very safe as we are here. Heated pool, hot tub, club house and workout room. No I don't work here, but it's nice to stay in a well run RV Park. I would rate it a 12 compared to some of the ten rated camps we've been to lately. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice park but you do not want to come during the month of February. We signed up for a month's rental and feel we were cheated by 2 nights. We arrived on the 8th of Feb. Our checkout date was Mar. 8th. Instead of counting 30 days from the time of check in, they let the computer calculate the days. Common sense tells you that a month is equal to 30 days. We only got 28 days. When I questioned this, I was told that February only has 28 days. The office told me that I was still getting a break off of the daily and weekly rate. They also said that if you sign in during the months that have 30 or 31 days, you get an extra day or two. Every RV park that we have stayed in, does not go by how many days there are in a month but count 30 days from the day you sign in. We feel the park took us for $ 50.50. I wonder where that money went: to the owner of the site or the office staff. We would not stay here again for that simple reason. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Boulder Oaks RV Resort (formerly "Red Mountain" RV Resort) is an excellent place to stay in Boulder City, NV. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though it was only for 1 night. The husband and wife staff that work at the office were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of the area attractions. Not only did he escort us to our site, he helped unhook our tow dolly and helped direct us while backing in. Sites are paved, level, wide, and all have lovely and unique plants and landscaping beside them. The view of Lake Mead was lovely, too. We made use of the very nice whirlpool and pool area and saw that there was even a dry sauna there as well. The bathrooms and showers were well-cleaned and had both hot water and good pressure. The resort was at first tricky to find, but after calling for better directions we found it just fine. (And we're glad we did!) The park is located off of a small side road 2 turns away from the main road that goes through Boulder City and is also surrounded by a brick wall, thus making it a very quiet and peaceful park. Another plus is that the park is only 7 miles away from Hoover Dam. You can even ride your bike from here into the foothills of the mountain or into the town square of Boulder City. Enjoyed our short stay very much and would most definitely stay again. I highly recommend this park if you are visiting nearby Las Vegas or Hoover Dam. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very nice park in the Las Vegas area. We stayed here for one month starting on March 17, 2009. Rate was $707.00 for the month including utilities. This is a "condo" park. Sites are owned or for sale and you rent the site from the owner through the parks rental office. The park is clean, quite and some sites have beautiful views of Lake Mead. The only negative I have with this park is the Wi-Fi. It is available at no charge but it is slower than my dial-up use to be, if you can get on. If having internet access is important to you, you may want to move down the road. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Definitely one of the nicer places to stay in the area. Very clean, nice landscaping, good views, large sites. Most of the campground ('resort') are privately owned lots so don't expect much in the nature of friendliness! The staff are very helpful and friendly however. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The park is a little pricey if you are watching a budget. Lots and LOTS of rules. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

For us this was a great overnighter as we were headed home, tired and really needed a quiet nights sleep. Not located in a heavy traffic area. Very nice large level pad with enough room for our MH and tow car. Great view of the lake from our site. Good water pressure and 50 amp service. Cell, Sat. and aircard had a great signal. The park was very clean and well maintained. No old beat up vehicles are allowed. Your rig must be in good shape or they'll turn you away. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We spent a month here. Very nice management and residents. Interesting town to wander around. Close to Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. Big horn sheep come down from the mountains to graze in the park nearby. Town is walking distance. Grocery and hardware store are close. Easy to pop over the hill into Henderson for more shopping, like Lowe's, Costco, Super Wal-Mart, Camping World, etc. 30 minutes to the strip in Las Vegas. Hot tub and heated pool available 24 hours a day. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I disagree with the manager complaints. They are very friendly and cooperative. This trip we wound up staying here over a month. This is our 3rd stay and we'll come back. Nice, well laid out campground with good laundry and exercise facilities. Great location: quiet, away from the Vegas hustle-and-bustle, and close to Lake Mead. Whoever complained about a lack of trees and heat obviously has not been in the desert before! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is ran by a management company, the owner of which is a very snarky individual who actually rolled his eyes at me when I told him I had pets. He said I would have to park "that thing" by the dog run or not at all. "That thing", is my 2008 Teton fifth wheel, which I pull with an 08 Ford Super Duty. Gee whiz, we can't all drive a Marathon Coach... We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is ok however with all the asphalt and no shade trees it gets very hot. I couldn't even let my dog outside for fear that she would roast to death. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This Resort is a subdivision of privately owned lots where a company has control of renting any lot that the owner may want to rent. The Community Association maintains all common facilities, so they are very well maintained. The company that rents the lots has limited hours, so if you need something during the night or if you arrive after office hours, you are simply out of luck. The owners of the rental company are not very friendly or helpful. Although there are 275 RV lots in the subdivision, much fewer lots are actually on the rental program so the website cannot be believed. Don't patronize this place if you want a happy time. This park is a very well maintained, clean, quiet and pleasant stay for anyone looking at the greater Las Vegas area. The staff are very helpful, and courteous, with a solid program for managing the place. While many of the sites are owned by individuals (some on the market in the $20K+ range), each provides concrete leveled space, nice landscaping, ample electrical, sewer, etc. The park is in Boulder City, in the hills above Lake Mead, some sites have a view of the lake. The park exceeded our requirements for friendly, clean, quiet, convenient, and elegant with ample amenities. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Clean park, the restrooms where spotless. There are a lot of full timers and most of there stuff is put away. The sites are a little tight, but the hook-ups are well placed and easy to use. No table and the Wifi was spotty are the negatives. Bolder City is cute, clean and family oriented. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park which is very well maintained and clean. All the roads are paved. Sites are on the small size and covered in gravel (typical desert campground); there are no picnic tables, however. Utilities are fine as is the wi-fi. We did not use the cable TV. Price reflects Good Sam Discount. We arrived late & our paperwork was left at the office. Then the owner came over later to see if we had any questions. The owners are very helpful and polite. The park is very neat although a lot of stone, as expected for a desert park. VERY quiet and easy ride to the dam and grocery shopping. Downtown is close and quaint too. There's no grass for the dog, but there were plenty of places to walk him without restrictions. We would definitely stay here again as it was easy in and out. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The wonderful nice people referred to in another review, were on leave. Instead we got some barely interested summer hire who noted our arrival with interest, but not much. Her first classic comment was, "You may not fit in the pull through." Why may I ask, was this not stated when I reserved AND furnished the length of my RV and tow car? The so called pull through sites may not allow you to pull through, but that fact is not advertised. Wi-Fi is up and down and drops out often. Cable TV is TERRIBLE! It is not clear and very few stations come in. Hookups work. Nothing special at all here!!! I would go on to Las Vegas rather than stopping here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice little park. Very close to the Dam. Easy in-out. Our spot was perfectly level. Worn, but very clean restrooms and showers. Very nice and helpful people. This is an okay park close to the dam. Paved roads with crushed stone sites that are close to level. Water pressure and quality good, excellent cable and Wi-Fi. Very quiet at night. A key is required to use the bathroom/shower. You would think that would have been mentioned during check-in. Okay for an overnight, but I wouldn't stay longer than that. Staying here for 2 nights to see the area. Sites are very close together. First park we have been in that some sites are back in with the next close site drive in. Ours is a drive in with the back in site fifth wheel about 4 feet from us. OK for a couple of nights but wouldn't want to stay here for long term. Office management was very nice, tho. Every once in awhile, a campground comes along to show that it can be done right at a reasonable price...and this is one of those campgrounds. The location isn't really scenic, and there isn't a swimming pool, but the Wi-Fi is free and works great, the ample bathrooms and showers are among the best we've seen, and the cable TV worked, too. Nicely landscaped, clean and quiet. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Sites were mostly pull-through & were relatively close, say 15’ between RVs. If you parked your RV close to the water & electricity you had room to park your car/truck alongside. If not, you had to park it on either end of your site which would be close to or on the road. Clean & modern showers/restrooms with plenty of room for your stuff. Plenty of shower/restroom buildings around the campground. Paved roads between gravel sites with mostly full hookups, everything in good shape. Small trees by most sites which did not provide much shade & it was very hot outside during the day with a sweltering breeze at night. Gee! In the Mojave Desert in August, imagine that! Friendly helpful staff! We had excellent Wi-Fi about halfway across the campground. There were a few neat, permanent campers and no tents. One dumpster location near the office. Many different shopping areas within easy driving from the campground. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

There are a lot of permanent rigs in this park. The streets are paved and the sites are level gravel. The hookups are side by side. We didn't use the laundry or showers so we can't comment on them. This is a very nice park, with well maintained, good-sized spaces and appropriately placed utilities. The WiFi and cable TV are good. The park is conveniently located just off Highway 93, and is a 15-minute drive to visit Hoover Dam (since the bypass road is not yet complete and we did not want to take our motorhome over the dam). The bypass will be open in November of 2010. This may well be a good location for visiting Las Vegas, but we did not go into the city. There are a fair number of permanent residents, but the park is well maintained and very quiet. We did not encounter any of the problems cited by previous reviewers with regard to these permanent residents and their dogs. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Large park, gravel sites. The facilities were clean. They did allow any size and breed of dog; our yellow lab was attacked by a pit-bull! Overall it was nice though and we'd stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Easy to find if you're coming up State Rt 95 from the Laughlin/Bullhead City area. We heeded the AM radio traffic alerts about road construction in the vicinity of Hoover Dam (they're building a bypass road/bridge to route traffic from going over the dam). One hour delay on US Rt 93 N when you get near the dam, AND all vehicles were being subjected to a search. I guess this will no longer be the case whenever the bypass is finished. The RV park is paved, the lots are level, and the bathrooms were clean. A $5 security deposit required for the bathroom key. Clean laundry with plenty of machines. We were staying just one night and were the exception. Any avid cyclist should know about Bootleg Canyon, a biking/hiking trail that starts just behind the RV park, out the "pet gate" and left. Ask at the front desk and ride your bike up the Canyon if you've got the time. We would stay here again if passing through. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Would like to give the park a higher rating since the park owners seem like they try to maintain the park; however the perms make this place extremely unwelcoming. Good for an overnight or week to visit Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. Any longer and the perms will make you wish you actually stayed at Circus Circus. This is a large park in the industrial area of Boulder City. Pros: Electricity included in monthly rate. Flat gravel sites, 30 foot wide spaces (as long as your neighbor doesn’t encroach), mail service, propane service offered by contractor, lots of laundry machines and dryers, dog waste bag dispensers on light poles around park, nearby bike trails, short drive to Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. Park offers a space for you to wash your RV/car/boat with a power washer. Nearby bicentennial park in downtown Boulder City has a large grass area for lounging. Cons: About 95% permanent residents who act like they own the place. Old trailers and some toy haulers converted into living quarters. Was told over the phone they only take RV's 10 years old or less in good condition. From what I saw, that rule did not apply to the perms. I don’t mind the old trailers, but the people: wow. Nosy bored perms watch your every move. Perms are cliquish and like to comment rather loudly about the tourists who stay in “their park.” Woke up many mornings to the sounds of either perms talking loudly in their “front yard” or of diesel engines starting. Confederate flags on some trailers did not help the ambiance. Police car drove through looking for someone. Heard the police officer say, “This was his last known address…” No shade, windy, desert rock landscaping. Only 1 garbage area in such a large park. No picnic tables at park nor at individual sites. Wi-Fi is weak and unreliable. Few cable TV channels available. Stores and restaurants in Henderson are 20-30 minutes away and Las Vegas is a good 40 minutes, though it is all freeway. Has strong winds since the park is at the base of the mountains. Watch out if you have weak awnings. Few restaurant options in Boulder City, mostly fast food. Did not use bathrooms, so can’t comment. If we had to come back, we would only stay here overnight. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A good stay if you don't want to deal with Las Vegas. All services worked very well and the management (all family) were very helpful. We stored our motor home there for 3 weeks while we flew home for Christmas. They charged us a dollar a day! Very reasonable. This isn't really a kids park. There isn't anything to do. Perhaps 70% of the people there are full time with the usual stuff hanging around outside their homes, but that wasn't a problem. We'd stay again We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a very nice park and even in mid November we were glad that we had reservations, it was pretty full. Staff was very friendly. Spaces were nice and wide. Finding the cable hookup was a little difficult because it's on the bottom of the gray box and out of sight. I would go back in a heartbeat. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is adequate for a few days and is a good location to visit the Las Vegas area. The park itself appears to be about 90% permanent residents with lots of stuff stored outside. Mixed bag. The high points: Clean, attractive, secure and well-maintained park; level sites, friendly staff. The low points: You need to pay a deposit for a key to the restrooms/showers. I declined, but didn't realize [and wasn't told] that a key was required to use the exit gate to the dog walk! If you want your deposit back, you can't leave very early in the morning, which is why I didn't get one. The only dumpsters are out by the exit. Quirky: The speed limit is 7 mph. Not 5, not 10, but 7. I might stay here again, but only if necessary. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park appears to have about 80% permanent residents which seems to be the norm for commercial parks. Supposed to have WiFi but not working at this time, check in lady had no idea what was wrong with it. Trees are very small so no shade. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Ok place to stay, I guess, when in Neveda. When it's 109 out is there really a good place to be in Neveda? Very close to Hoover Dam, and close to Vegas without all the traffic. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice modern, spotless campground, excellent bathrooms and laundry. Very friendly management and other campers. Paved roads, stone sites with desert landscaping with small trees at many sites. Overlooking Lake Mead. Busy on weekends with boaters so call ahead for reservations. Very close to Hoover Dam and 21 miles from Las Vegas. Stay here and drive into Vegas rather than getting mixed up in the noise and crowding of Vegas. Definitely would return. Cash or check only. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice place. The Managers are very friendly and trusting. They only accept cash as we found out when trying to pay with a credit card. It was near closing time and the lady told me I could unhitch and pay in the morning when I had a chance to use a nearby ATM. We visited in April and it got windy that time of year. Very good level gravel sites and great wide paved roads. The only thing negative is that the store is limited, sodas, ice and sewage parts because there are plenty of stores nearby to purchase food items. Will definitely stay there again. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

We stayed in the premium lake view row, which does indeed have a wonderful view of the lake, especially at night. These sites are really large with a concrete pad for both your coach and patio area. One nice feature is hookups on both sides so you can pull in or back in - your choice. Office staff was great and there is a decent store also. We appeared to be the only "private" rv among all the rentals in the lake view row. The site was long enough to accommodate our coach and toad without unhooking. Would certainly stay here again! We received a nice welcome when we showed up with no reservations. The nice lady at the desk worked us in (they had a big group coming the next day). We did not try the free wi-fi. Restrooms and showers were clean. Park was clean. Easy back-in spaces. Nice tables and concrete slab at each space. Close to Hoover Dam and Vegas. The park crew has a very loud ATV that they use to check on things. Will return for sure. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A little tight maneuvering for larger vehicles, overall very nice experience. Keep in mind that you must gain access to the National Park within which this park is located. That cost is above the daily rate. If parking on the row nearest Lake Mead, you must perform a 3 point turn at the end of the row and return the way you entered. The corner at the end of the row is very tight, narrow, and has untrimmed bushes which impede the roadway. Sites are fairly level. Utilities are good. Do not drive your larger RV into Boulder City, as road construction is extensive. Roads can be extremely rough. Will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

View is beautiful, a couple things are bothersome. Maintenance ATV's need to get better mufflers or replace with 4 stroke or even electric ATV's. Woke us up every morning and they do not observe park speed limit. Cable is snowy, no local channels. Wi-Fi was not always working and slow, can share code but only one computer at a time. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

On arrival not a friendly welcome. We asked about the WiFi and if it was a good signal in all sites. The member of staff said it was good in all sites. This was not the case on the water view sites. It was slow. Dial up would have been faster. When we checked in, we did say that we needed a good internet connection for work. There is only one free coupon per site. So if you have two persons, then one has to pay for his/her connection. The internet is terrible! The restrooms are basic. We only saw two showers for each sex on the site. The view was fantastic, but the lack of a friendly welcome left a bitter after taste! Would not be going back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I stayed here for 3 days. Campground elevation is 1,241feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy in the park was no problem. Roads are asphalt and sites/Patios are concrete. Site spacing is good. Pull in Lake Mead View sites easily hold a 40 foot motorhome/fifth wheel. There is plenty of room to park your dinghy beside your RV. My site 9 offered 30/50 amp service & full hookups. Wi-Fi and cable was included in the daily rate. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless G3/4 Internet & Cellular service. I received Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome. Campground is pet friendly. Walmart is 20 miles away and Safeway is 6. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. This campground has many different kinds of sites with varying amenities and prices. We picked the lake view which was really nice with a great view. Campground was a little noisy in the evening with the partying but became very quiet around bed time. I would definitely return here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nothing beautiful about this park. Staff annoyed with customers. Park is almost empty and yet the four of us customers were right next to each other. Internet did not work properly. Only one coupon code per computer, and once logged out, that's it. Very far from the lake, I am a walker and needed to drive to see it. Cable TV outlet did not work. We hooked up to the next site. Thank goodness the people in that site did not need cable. Facilities were old, not inviting, barely clean. No grass for pet. We will not return here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The amenities are present, but the cable TV was so bad we couldn't see the picture. The Internet was slower than a 14.4 baud modem, and multiple users can't get online. Get yourself several coupon codes if you ever want to use say an iPad and a laptop. But who would do something like that? Folks like us who work from then trailer. There is no TV signal over the air, but ATT cell reception is strong. The sites are fairly level, pea gravel and kind of wide. Though as pointed out in another review, as soon as an RV pulls in, they want to begin clustering others around it. There is a distant view of Lake Mead. Location to Hoover Dam is great. I would not return: this rate implies there is a reason to be here, but we didn't find a redeeming feature. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park was just OK. The staff was very friendly but incompetent. We had a premium site which faced lake mead that was long and very wide. They're not waterfront sites as the water is probably 1/2 mile away. The hookups worked fine. Nice and quiet. $41 is high for not having any amenities though. No pool, no hot tub, nothing. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a nice "premium" spot with a view of the lake. It's not a fast/easy walk to the lake, but could be done. The park was clean and not crowded - we happened upon a heat wave and temps were up to 112! The electricity was clean and reliable, so we were grateful. Spots were spacious and nice. The reason we are rating an 8 were: *Internet not so great and quite slow. Sometimes didn't want to work at all. Also, be sure to ASK ahead how to get on if you arrive late - they didn't leave this info with our late registration. *Even though the park was FAR from full - LOTS of open space, for the 4 nights we booked, they kept putting new people right next to us on both sides. We don't get why they wouldn't spread us out a bit for some privacy? So strange to us and would have been easy to just give us all a little breathing room. *$40 was pricey for off season during the week. Our friends stayed at a hotel 4 miles from us for $29 during the week. Staff was really friendly on the phone, fairly friendly in person. Be sure to add days on versus pay for days you aren't sure about. They were good to tell us they won't do any refunds, so we know ahead of time. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Clean, peaceful neighbours, beautiful view of Lake Mead, beach near by. Attentive staff (first time in RV), Hoover Dam 10mins drive. Great first night if picking up from Vegas. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have a 35ft RV with trailer for car. Pull through sites were easy access. Has a fantastic view of the lake. Staff were wonderful and helpful. It's 15 minutes from Hoover Dam and 45 minutes from downtown Vegas. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We spent the extra to have the lake view and it was beautiful. Boulder Beach with no hook ups is next door. The lake view was amazing! The office staff was so pleasant. Yes, there are some mobile homes here, but it was not anything that changed the view. We would return if in the Vegas area again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Overall a nice place. A little on the pricey side considering its premium spot is lake view not lake front. No shade and intermixed with permament house trailers, but well kept. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Another RV park that is shared with mobile homes. The kids that live here race their cars around here doing 40mph, even though the speed limit is 10mph. You take your life in your hands walking around here. They figure the rules only apply to the RVers that show up. I try and avoid these campgrounds, but sometimes that's all there is in a certain area. The roads are pot hole ridden. Glad I`m moving out tommorow. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We paid the extra for a lake front site and the spectacular views have been well worth it. The sites are very large, with level pads. Staff members are extremely friendly and helpful and store is adequate. We would certainly come here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for 4 days while our son participated in a triathlon. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy access to the beach which is a great place to let the dogs run. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is an excellent park to visit Hoover Dam, Ethel M Chocolate Factory, and Lake Mead activities. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good cell phone reception, Verizon air card internet service, satellite reception, and cable TV. Price is for 50 amp full hook up, lake view concrete site, but lake level was low. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park has great views but very poor rest rooms. They are too far from the front sites and too few facilities. Internet signal was also weak. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We selected a lake from spot which has a very wide concrete pad with hook ups on both sides of the pad. The water was about a half mile away. It was an awesome view looking out over the water from our spot. The site was very clean. There wasn't a good spot to walk our dog. There are trails between the campsite and the water, but there was a lot of broken glass and trash along the trails. Despite that we hope to return next year and will certainly make this a destination point. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We've used this park before and have always had a pleasant experience here. This stay was no exception. We were able to get a large pull through site on the end of a row. In my opinion the waterfront sites are not worth the additional cost. Sites are gravel with concrete patios and picnic tables. There is no Wi-Fi but you can use a courtesy computer in the store to check e-mail, etc. As someone else mentioned: this campground is run by a concessionaire and lies within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. You must pay a fee to enter the area which has many recreational opportunities for the whole family. If you stay here, don't miss a side trip to Hoover Dam. The nearby town of Boulder City is one of the nicest small cities in Nevada. Boulder City is the only town in Nevada that doesn't allow gambling: a refreshing change! We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

On this site it lists the location being in Boulder City which it is not, but in the NRA of Lake Mead. There are permanent mobile homes throughout the campground along with back up and pull through sites. Empty in November as we used a Lake front view but know that many of the sites have a view but are on gravel. The lake view is concrete pad for patio and trailer with sewer, water, electric and TV hook ups. There were picnic tables made of some material to resemble wood without splinters. In-laws were camping for the week and we visited for a few days. Clean friendly people with exception of one visitor. Store with plenty of forgotten stuff as well. The NRA campground is next to it just does not have full hookup at site but has dump and water access. I would stay again especially Nov, may try here in Mar too. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The setting is beautiful here and we'd give it a higher rating but park isn't well-run. Bathrooms were not cleaned at all. Cable TV was weak. No Wi-Fi mentioned but Verizon air card usually okay. Sites not level, concrete pads broken up. Our electric hookup box was on the ground. Neighbors partying with cars in the street, bonfire, and noise.Great location and view but wasted . Sites cost $30-40. Better to stay at NPS campgrounds. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Lakeview sites a large, concrete pads with parking next to pad for car. Turns in the roads could be a little wider for large rigs. While the lake is a long way away due to the low lake levels, the views are spectacular. The staff is very friendly. Laundry facilities good. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The staff was friendly and the grounds were clean. Most sites have a view of the lake and mountains. This is located on National Park land, so be prepared to pay a fee to enter the park. We were immediately greeted by the Camp Host who helped us angle into the spot. They have everything but WI-FI. Their cable TV includes Showtime. It was a beautiful area and we will definitely come back again. Some of the sites are close together, but the layout of the park made it feel more spacious than it actually was. It was a short walk to the lake. There are many permanent mobile homes there and the staff advised us that they are vacation homes and that the residents can only live there half of the year. Most of those residence are retired people. What a lovely place for them to live for half the year! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Located just inside the Lake Mead National Recreation Area on the edge of Boulder City is the Lake Mead RV Village. Lake Mead RV Village is a concessionaire of the National Parks Service. This campground offers 115 full-hookup (including cable TV) sites which includes; pull-thrus, group camping and, for a few extra dollars, sites that offer unobstructed views of the lake. Even if you don't spend the extra few dollars for the lake view, most of the sites offer at least small views of the beautiful deep blue waters of Lake Mead and the surrounding red rock mountains. This campground has a general store where you can purchase a few basic supplies or a snack, laundry and showers, as well as horseshoe pits and a bocce ball court. Lake Mead RV Village is an easy walk from the waters edge. The park is clean and all the sites are of average size, level and gravel with a concrete patio slab. On the perimeter of this park there are many mobile homes for the permanent residents, which honestly takes a little away from this beautiful setting. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This was a good RV park. The “water front” sites would not have been water front as the lake is WAY down. The sites were clean and basic, and the bathroom and shower were extremely clean. A good way to start our vacation and our RV’ing experience. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Site was NOT lakefront, the lake itself was over a mile away due to being very low. No pools or spas. Facilities were nice at the site itself, however we were very unhappy because we had to pay an extra $10 to get the coach and our car through the park gate in addition to the park charges. RV park is hard to find and the turnoff from the main highway is not marked as to the road name or road number. Almost all first timers miss the entrance from highway 93. The signage there only shows the marinas and state parks, not the RV park.. I rated it a 7 because of the nice site, but I'd rate the park itself a 5. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We chose a Lakeview site over New Year's and felt it was definitely worth the extra money! The lake was low, so it was back aways from the site, but still a beautiful view! There were a few negatives: 1) The bathroom/shower facilty is small. Two shower stalls in the entire park is not near enough, even at this low season time. 2) The fire pits on the Lakeview sites are set right next to your sewer hookup, unless you are in a Motorhome. 3) The propane is twice as expensive as you would pay for in town. Despite those minor flaws, it was a great place to stay and very quiet, even when people started showing up for the long weekend. I hope to stay here again! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

July is not the best time of year to go here. Man is it hot! 110 most days. Zero shade to help any. The sites are not too bad though. Looks as though they have redone a lot of them. New gravel etc. At the time of our stay they were putting in new sewer lines or something. Heavy equipment running and digging etc. Roads were not in very good shape. Rough and rutted out. Not much to do there in the campground. No rec room, no pool. There is the lake to swim in though. Close to Hoover Dam which is a must see if you are in the area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here for two nights. We paid extra for the Lakeview site, and felt it is well worth the extra money. The Lakeview sites are newer with large concrete pads and angled nicely for great views of Lake Mead. The staff was helpful with area directions and friendly. Restrooms were clean and seemed OK although I did not use their showers. Looks like they are upgrading some of their other sites as well. Did not see much for kids to do. Did not see a playground or play area. Verizon wireless card worked great for internet. Not too crazy about the price because you also have to pay to get into the Recreational Area ($5.00) however, we would stay again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This reflects a monthly rate. First month was $645, second was $625. My issue with this is that their website shows $545 as monthly. When questioned about the difference, office replied that they had nothing to do with the website info, but the memoed sheet they gave me had the same rates! Aside from that, the park was very pleasant and a great camping location. I was in the long term spots and thus had a very roomy site, although not much of a view of the lake, but you get what you pay for! Lots of coyote (keep a REAL close eye on your pets! The coyote are very bold), and desert quail. Lake and surrounding area are just beautiful, and quiet. Would definitely camp there again. I found the office staff to be friendly and helpful We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We reserved a site and were given one that was extremely unlevel and a sewer drain on the wrong side of the RV which proved very awkward. The park looked to be in the midst of upgrading some of their sites. Good thing too as on our street a lot of sites were real shabby looking. The newest sites across from some mobile homes have the best view of the lake. Office has a computer that can be used to check email. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I went here because it is close to home and it was my first time in my new motorhome. I needed a "fact-finding" weekend to see how to operate all the bells and whistles. That part went almost perfectly until I was unable to raise the big awning by myself. (I am a 66 year old woman.) I called the office and was told that "There's no one here to help you!" The tone of voice said it all. Half an hour later I called again to tell them my son would be out to help me. This time the campground hostess answered the phone. "Well how long will that take?" she asked. Again, tone of voice! This place is an enclave..a closed society of people who would rather outsiders stay outside! The "group" wants nothing to do with us except take our money and wave "Goodbye" when we leave. Very strange!! Would I go back? Only if I need a whipping. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park is located in the Lake Mead NRA. It is close to Hoover Dam and several hiking trails. The parks strong point is the view of the lake and the mountains around it. Only about a 1/2 hour to Vegas Strip. We camped here in a Motorhome.
