Did this park after Big Bend of the Colorado SP. Kind of let down but in a good way. This is your basic campground, no frills, surrounded by nature. Park is about 12 miles east of Pioche on Hwy 323. Peaceful is the word I would use to describe my visit. This is an older park and it's facilities show it. They are maintained well but show their age. There were no hook-ups so I had to run my generator. Quiet hours are 10pm to 7am so if you can't live without watching TV after 10pm this is not the park for you. If you want to get away and enjoy the silence and solitude of nature this is the place to go. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

This campground is 20 miles east of Pioche and 2 miles from a small village with supplies and a restaurant/bar. The sites are spacious with covered picnic tables, fire pits, tent area and room for a motorhome. We've stayed before in our 35' class A coach. There are water sources nearby and restrooms with showers. There is a boat dock on 65 acre Eagle Valley Resevoir with a boat launch. The $15 rate is with a NV resident discount. Boat docking is available for an additional $2 if you have a campsite. Boat rentals are also available. Fishing is also good off the boat dock. There is a dump station just before you enter the campground. We camped here in a Tent.
