US Forest Service campground in lovely setting in mountains above Wells. No hookups and be sure you have water before you come. There was a water faucet but it had a warning sign stating to boil the water 15 minutes before using it. We camped here in our 27' fifth wheel. We detached and drove our truck up to Angel Lake where there is another campground. We were glad we did. The road up the mountain to Angel Lake has gorgeous views but has some tight turns. Not recommended for big rigs. Plus the campsites at Angel Lake are small though we were told later there were two sites long enough for bigger RVs but how big I'm not sure. We were happy at Angel Creek which had lovely views looking across the Ruby Mountains. We would camp here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful, old-fashioned "Campground" where wildlife is right at your doorscreen--bugs, birds, and deer. The access road is steep and winding; interior roads are narrow but well-paved. Most spaces are too small for our 32' Airstream, but arriving early in the afternoon we found a couple that worked. Dry camping and vault toilets, but the elevation is high enough to be comfortable without A/C, even in July. DO NOT take an RV andy further up the mountain, but DO go up the mountain to see Angel Lake--stunning alpine scenery in the middle of the Nevada Desert. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The pros: Nicely appointed and spotlessly clean restrooms and showers; owners extremely nice and helpful; Wi-Fi outstanding. The cons: Basically, a gravel parking lot with a lot of permanent residents [not that I have anything against a park renting to long-term residents--I don't! But it does affect the overall appearance and ambiance of a park]. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice owners, gravel sites and pads and not a lot of room between sites. 50 amp was marginal, good water pressure and neighbor said Wi-Fi was good. Could use a little maintenance on interior roads. The owner said he could park any size rig when I called him ahead of time. True, if you don,t mind hanging out into the street! Close to the freeway, but a/c drowned out noise. Also made for easy on/off freeway. We would consider staying on an overnight basis again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Great little campground right off the highway. Easy in and out. No trees or shade. Long pull-through sites for big rigs. No need to unhook. Owners are very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend for an overnight stop. We camped here in a motorhome. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Passport America site. Very handy to Interstate 80. Apparently not much RV traffic around, as we were only the second unit into camp for the night. Mostly gravel park, some grass sites, but they were being irrigated. Plenty of room all around in the pull throughs. The hosts were very friendly and the park was neat and tidy. Our only complaint were the little, bitty ants that invaded us. We found the dog food full of them when we stopped for lunch the next day. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We pulled in and were allowed to pick a spot. When we tried to hook up to the the power box our electrical security system wouldn't allow us to use the power. We changed to a different site in the back (metered) but our security stystem still wouldn't allow the power to come on. This has always been a favorite stop for us when traveling because it's quiet with very little road noise. We hated to leave and I'm not happy to report this issue with the electrical system there. I just thought people should know that there was a problem for us. We moved to another park and didn't encounter a problem there. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was our second stay here. We were the only overnight guests. Big, grass and gravel sites with great views. No shade for the pull through sites, but lots of trees for tenter's. Each site has a picnic table. Good Verizon phone and air card signal. We paid the Passport America rate, which is also offered to Escapees. Nothing to do here but sit in the shade of a green tree on the green grass and take in the views - which is why we will return when our travels bring us this way again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a membership campground and the $11 we paid is the RPI price including tax. This is a no-frills park, but a great place for a night or two. We've stayed here before, so knew what to expect. There is now a couple living on-site as managers and they are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The park is basically a gravel parking lot with full hook-ups (30 amp only) and a couple of shade trees. Big rigs would have no problem as there's plenty of room to pull forward in the space to clear the utility poles. We've stayed here several times before and have never found the park full. This time there were only 2 other RVs there. There are restrooms and showers, but no laundry facilities; however, there is a laundry a couple blocks from the park. My Verizon air card worked flawlessly there, but we were told the park was planning to put in wi-fi next year. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a good stop over RV Park. The sites are narrow and you need to watch the tree limbs. The Passport America rate was not a full 50% off the going nightly rate, but was reasonable. The Cable TV signal was good. The town of Wells has seen it's best days many years ago. The 3 truck stops, 1 Casino and 2 Nevada Houses of the night are about all that's left. The main street of the town was in ruin. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The rate is a Good Neighbor rate (thru coast to coast). Although this is a nice clean park with wonderful staff it is a little tight for big rigs. We have a 40' Motorhome with four slides and because of the trees we could not bring out one of our slides. They could trim the trees up higher and it might help. On the electric pedestals the 30 amp was towards the back but if you want 50 amp it was way to the front. We were lucky we had an extension cord. Most were just hooking to the 30 amp instead of messing with it. Not much in Wells but we did take a drive up to Angel Lake which was nice. The park filled up almost every night with over-nighters so I would suggest reservations. Big Rigs be careful and bring an extension cord. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Friendly office staff. We stayed for one night just passing through. Sites are a bit tight. Be careful of overhanging tree limbs. We seemed to be the only people in some time to be willing to pick up our dog's business. I doubt we would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
