Quiet park, no highway noise. Hook-ups are mid-site, with the sewer hook-up first, then electric, then water. Two deciduous trees between each site. Private shower rooms with toilet and sink. Showers have a very nice adjustable shower head. Laundry across from showers. $1.00 for washers. The same building has a club room. A clothesline and clothespins are available. Friendly and helpful manager. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This RV park could be considered a hidden gem if your looking for open space, quiet, and some clean air in a high desert atmosphere. It sits right next to a large open pit mining operation which was closed back in the late 1970's. The surrounding area isn't much to look at... in fact you could even say it's darn ugly... but then this is an old mining district in Nevada and not Yellowstone! The RV park itself is kept in great shape, the sites are level and all gravel, and it was clean and tidy when we visited. The sites are spacious and you could navigate a semi-truck through this park! The on-site manager was very friendly and helpful. He gave us a recommendation and directions to a good Mexican restaurant in Yerington, NV a few miles away (El Alteno at 615 S Main St.). Be aware they only take cash or checks here... no credit cards or wooden nickels. We'll definitely come back some day. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
