We chose this campground for the advertised 50 amp service. They have 50amp sockets with only one leg hot (30amp service). The interior roads are mostly good, with a few very rough spots. Sites are grass and the beach is beautiful. We were right next to the beach access and could see the Northumberland Strait and in the far distance Price Edward Island from our rig. Management is friendly and helpful. Very close to PEI and coastal attractions. Although we did not use them there is a charge for shower water. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is our second stay here and we were delighted to return. They are right on a wonderful beach. There's even a "dog beach" on one side. The water is shallow and quite warm. This park has many little trailers that are occupied for the summer. But the park is clean, quiet, has good Wi-Fi and we used our Direct satellite. Great ice cream at the office but you don't want more than one scoop. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Came from Mass.-- long ride 12 hours, found campground easy, easy in and out. Staff was very friendly and campground very clean. Sites are close together but enough room to have a campfire without really bothering anyone. Wi-Fi was poor at our site but got it really slow. Close to ocean, about a 5 min. walk and beach was clean, pet friendly on the right side of the beach. Enjoyed our stay and would go back again. They had activities which were fun, flea market, guitar players and singing and moon walk for kids. Would give a higher rating but the sites are close together, the Wi-Fi was slow, and they had pay showers. Other than that it was a good Trip. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed one night as a stopover to PEI. Level and within close walking distance of beach. Lots of tents the weekend night I was there, quiet, but there was a lot of wind and rain that night. Easy to get into and out of. I was a little too far away to get the WiFi, but I could get it when I went closer to the community center. No Cable TV. I think the satellite would work almost anywhere there. I would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Here is the address: 380 Route 950. | Cap Pele, NB | E4N 2A9. We stumbled upon this CG late one night after discovering the Provencal Park we were going to visit had already closed for the season. Level sites, good hook-ups. We had an overnight pull-through site without sewer but other sites had sewer. Fire rings at all sites. CG is on the beach, you walk on boardwalks over the sand dunes to a lovely sandy beach. Wi-Fi signal was the best we found in NB and NS. Soccer field and play area for kids. Very nice community feeling here - some of the seasonal families have been coming here for decades so even though the CG is enormous, it did not feel crowded - it felt more like a friendly neighborhood than a campground. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
