We stayed at a site with full hookups and had no problems with the amenities. We were not able to pick up the Wi-Fi signal though. This is an excellent campground if you're looking to access the White Mountain National Forest. We hiked many of the trails in the area after only a 5 to 20 min. drive. The owners are very nice and professional. The roads in the campground are a little rough but passable by our 40 foot class A motorhome. The sites are separated from each other by foliage offering some privacy. The little town of Bethlehem is nearby with a terrific farmers' market and coffee shop. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed on site 100, which is a water/electric/ sewer and cable site. The site was 65 feet long and 35 feet wide with a 25 foot row of trees between the adjoining sites. The tree cover was great as it allowed privacy but also allowed a lot of sunlight to shine in on the site. The site was perfectly level, this is the first campground in which I did not have to use a board or two to level our trailer, it was perfect right where I put it. The sewer connection was also in a great location and was down hill from the site which allowed for convenient draining. Backing into the site was a little tough as the road is built into the side of a hill so I was limited in how much I could turn my truck, not a big deal, though. We came with three labs and the site was big enough for them to roam on their leashes. The only real complaint would be the age and condition of the bathhouse. It was clean but was VERY old. There was no place to put a soap dish or shampoo in the shower. Minor concerns. The campground store had a lot more goods than I have seen at other places and they serve soft serve ice cream which my dogs just loved! There is a giant checker and chess board outside the store and an indoor pool and game room. All in all a very good place and we would definitely stay here again. All the sites we saw looked just as private and spacious as ours, definitely not the "sardine can" type of a place. If you value privacy and want to explore White Mountain National Forest, I recommend this place. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Nice CG, but a little more maintainer would be nice on the roads. Some very small trees and limbs need to be trimmed to allow larger units in without scraping the limbs/branches. The sites are great, mostly level, grass, good setup for utilities, friendly, just need some road work. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great Camp Ground, would highly recommend to anyone and everyone. Clean and well maintained. We camped here in a Tent.

Very nice large grassy back-in site which was very private. We used the indoor pool. It was immaculate. Camp store is well stocked. Wi-Fi is available only near the office and not at the sites. Interior roads are dirt and very narrow. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We had a good time at this campground. Everyone was friendly and nice to be around. They have hayrides and the kids are able to make their own sundaes. They do have an indoor pool but we didn't take advantage of it. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is our favorite campground we have stayed at so far. The owners were nice and helpful. The sites were wooded and private. The bathrooms/showers are a bit dated but are free. The only thing I wish they had was an outside pool. Sure it's great when it's raining or cold but when it is hot it just feels gross. They have hay rides and make your own sundaes. The store has a lot of goods but not a lot of food. There is a store close by though. I loved the quietness of the campground very family friendly We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
Three families in our group stayed here together. We got lost on the way up from Maryland and the owner waited for us to arrive, at 10:30pm. Very Nice! Our sites were level and clean the whole place was well kept and the pool was great for the kids. I highly recommend this place. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
A lot of the sights were good size and the restrooms were heated. We stayed off season and enjoyed the indoor pool. Good campstore. Campground centrally located to the White Mountains. We would return if we needed to be in that area again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
First of all, reaching the campground was laborious as the road was not maintained and full of potholes and broken blacktop. The camping area itself was small and road very narrow. The sites were small and it was difficult to fit just two average tents. The drinking water was BROWN and disgusting. The pit toilets were rank and not cleaned regularly. The camp host was not around and could not be asked any questions. We had my sister visit and there is no parking area so she waited at our site since we could not locate the woman who was the host. I walked to her (very nasty and messy) site several times and gave up. Later she comes screaming at me in front of my family members like I was trying to sneak the extra car in there. It definitely put a huge damper on our small family gatherings. We had rented 3 sites between us so we could get together. I will never stay there again, nor will I recommend this place to my friends or my camping group on facebook. The National Parks should get rid of this person. No wonder the place wasn't full on a big holiday weekend. We camped here in a Tent.
For a public area that is in a National Forest, this campground has not received any upgrades or renovations in years. The vault toilets are up to date but are being pumped once every (2) two years. These literally gag you unlike those of the State Parks which are quite tolerable. The Campground Host is Hot & Cold with her Rude and sarcastic manerism. This campground is managed by a company called Pro-Sport. Very disappointing for such a beautiful spot in the White Mountains. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Super clean bathrooms, good showers but you do have to pay. Many seasonals but very nice owners and welcoming to transients. Very shady, well kept sites, though could use gravel or mulch. Dirt can be a problem in wet weather, especially with dogs. Note - they take cash or checks only. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Clean but tight campground. Bathrooms and showers clean but there was a seasonal tent resident who treated the bathroom as her own, ie: coffee maker, toiletries, clothes hanging to dry. Our GPS gave us the wrong guidance and we called numerous times during the day for directions but there was no answer. The owner told us she was probably out cleaning bathrooms. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Small rustic wooded campground with gravel roads. Campground is quiet with a large number of seasonals that had well kept clean sites and were friendly. Campground is very basic with small pool with very nice surrounding area and small playground. There is no store only an office so for any needs at all you must leave campground. Our site was moderate size, level, and clean. Fireplace is a fire ring which we didn't like. We chose this campground for its location to the White Mountains for hiking and some of the tourist attractions. Nicely located to all. This campground is sickly for hanging out at your site and taking advantage of the local offerings. They offer nothing in the way of activities. This is not a bad thing it was just what we were looking for because our main objective for the 3 days was hiking the Whites and this was perfect. Rest rooms are very basic and rustic but well maintained. We had a 3 way site camped in a 35' 5th wheel with 3 slide outs had plenty of room. We would camp here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is the nicest campground we have stayed at. Staff was very nice and helpful and the bathrooms were extremely clean! We will definitely return to this campsite. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
This had got to be the nicest campground I have ever stayed at. The owners seem to take great pride in their business. The bathrooms and laundry area were exceptionally clean. The owners were friendly and helpfull with any questions we had. Campground does not take credit cards. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This campground really didn't meet our expectations. While the campground was clean and friendly, we were hoping for a site that was peaceful and wooded with some sort of privacy. What we ended up with is a full hook up site that had neighbors very close on each side and a constant, frustrating road noise. Honestly, you would have no idea you were in the White Mountains by staying at this KOA. What this KOA has going for it is the fact that there are many things to visit and do within 30 minutes of the campground. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This campground is very tight with the majority of pull-through sites being side by side hook-ups. You can reach out and touch the slide of the people next to you. Some of the staff were very unfriendly. Gravel sites were not level and not packed down. We sunk significantly. We had to back out of our pull-through site because it was so tight. We definitely would not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is one fine campground in one fine place to visit. Spend a few more days than you intend. There is plenty to keep you busy from hiking to waterfalls to tram rides and train rides. Be sure and eat a pizza at Catalano's nearby. Best for 100 miles around. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice campground close to great hiking. Staff was nice except one workkamper who fussed at us about our parked car as soon as we got here. Small camp store, but nicely stocked. Not super nice big rig sites, but we enjoyed our stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a really nice campground. The grounds are extremely clean & well maintained and the staff could not have been friendlier, or more helpful. The pool and playground area were beautifully manicured, and inviting for just relaxing or having a full day of play. Site was level although a little tight lengthwise with our towed. Plenty of room in between campers, though. The tent sights were very private, and I thought you'd really feel like you were wilderness camping staying in one of them, as apposed to being in an RV park. Lots of pretty foliage all around. The washrooms were well located, but we didn't use them, so I cannot comment on those. We travel with our dogs, and there ample green-space to walk them. The only improvement I could suggest for this park would be to have a small fenced pet run so that the dogs could do their business off-leash. Otherwise, this KOA gets my high recommendation. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Not so impressed. Our GPS had real difficulty even finding the place. Road noise was annoying. Staff was less than friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is an outstanding park in every respect. The owners are great people and are intimately involved in the daily operation of the park. Their personal level of attention is obvious. Every member of the staff is friendly and helpful and the park is meticulously maintained. The store is well-stocked with the kind of items people actually want and need. There are lots of trees to provide shade, yet there are many sites that are satellite friendly. It is a great base for exploring the White Mountains. I would go out of my way to return here in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Twin Mountain KOA is a great campground. Very clean restrooms and showers. Friendly staff. Located in the White Mountains in NH. If you like the outdoors this is a good base camp to set out for adventures. Sites are clean and spacious. Stores are not to close by so you do need to plan ahead. The campground store is well stocked if your in a pinch. Mount Washington is near by and worth a trip to the top. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
It was pouring rain when we got there, but was escorted to our site, and the staff member stood by to make sure we got settled in and everything worked. Our pull-through site was well laid out and convenient to the entrance and the facilities. The play ground needs a little updating, but we had fun. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We arrived in the dark after the office closed, and the directions to our site were ready. Only 2 negatives: they could have written, "Pull straight in." Instead it appeared to be a back in site, (23) we had to turn around in the dark to get parked. Cable TV hookup was faulty so they gave us complementary firewood to make up. A nice touch, it was delivered to our site. Nice store, nice office staff, kids enjoyed pancake breakfast one morning. The campground recycles bottles/cans, picks up trash at your site. Close to our hike up Mt Martha. Last minor negative was it is close to a road: can't escape the road noise. We would camp here again for White Mountain activities. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice, scenic location which is central to many attractions. Nothing fancy but everything was functional. Energizing walk up the hill to the office which I tried to avoid. We used the toad to travel about. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We don't pay too much attention to all the frills of a campground. This place had nice level sites, gravel, but hard packed. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Nice laundry (small, but adequate). Owners are on site, they were friendly and helpful. The view front your front door is awesome. We would have no problem recommending this campground/motel to anyone. Very convenient to all of the Mt. Washington area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
I went to this KOA specifically for their Kaboose, which is a refurbished actual train car. My son had been waiting since February for this trip! Upon getting here we noticed that the train smelled like mold. The campground obviously knew because they put in an airwick oil freshener. The rugs in it were wet, and when came back after going out, found out the place was infested with flies! The top windows of this Kaboose were covered in them! It was too late to complain that night, so we waited for the next morning, (my son carrying some in his bug catcher for proof: his idea), and we were switched to a lodge. The toilet in this lodge had great suction, but we had to push our stuff down for it to go down. (disgusting, hello!) We moved to another lodge, and that toilet didn't work at all! It was plugged the first time we used it! They brought us a plunger to undo it, and then took it with them when they left. We had to buy one for the duration of our stay. The place was in the middle of nowhere. They don't tell you the nearest grocery store is 26 miles away, and there was almost no cell reception. I had to go to Breton Woods for a signal. The very first day I complained and asked for a refund and was told there are no refunds, and told me I had to stay here or loose my money. All four hundred of it! I emailed corporate, and was told tough luck. Now that I know KOA doesn't about it's members I will never stay in one again, and neither should you! We camped here in a Campground Cabin.
We are traveling across the country and have stayed at a lot of RV parks so far on our journey, many of which have been very nice. This one make our list of the top 3 so far, primarily because of the management. We hardly interacted with the people as we arrived late and our reservation (made 3 hours earlier) was on the board and the office closed when we got there. But the campground is impeccable. Bathrooms/showers are spotless, sites are pristine (they even rake the site after you leave), and the campground is well laid out. If you were far away from the showers, it would be a definite hike, but we were right there. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We camped here in a Truck Camper.
Good solid KOA with great access to hiking, biking and natural assets of the region which are extensive. Would advise requesting an upper level site if you are staying any more than one night. The lower level is subject to truck traffic noise starting at 4 o'clock in the morning. With that proviso we would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Has all the KOA amenities, however the sites are a little tight. Very close to a busy highway that seems to be a favourite of heavy trucks with resultant noise. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Our only real complaint with this campground was the typical KOA overpricing. In particular the cable TV charge of $3.00 a night is unjustified. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The side-by-side sites mentioned in previous review were also near the road and were a bit noisy. Great place for tents and pop-ups in the back areas. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Most everything was very good at this campground. The only down sides we found was that cable TV was expensive, $3+ per day and some sites were side x sides. Trash was picked up at site each day and after RVers departed, staff was out pronto to rake the site, clean out the fire pit, etc. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed from Sept. 26-Oct.7, 2006 this year and had a great time. This is a great location for fall color observing, moose watching, and a lot of local attractions such as Mt. Washington, many hiking trails, rivers/lakes, and much more. We have stayed here many times and keep coming back in late Sept. and early October. You will have to do some driving for groceries etc...but it is worth it. We saw 15 moose in the area while staying at this KOA. We saw the peak of Fall color which is too good to describe...you have to be there. I highly recommend it to anyone I know that wants to stay in this area of NH. They also added a cabin or two in the past year if you do not tent camp or have an RV. Very clean and QUIET campground. I do not think you will be disappointed! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Quiet and wooded. Typical KOA, well maintained, but pricey. Because it was mostly wooded it was difficult to get our satellite to connect. Staff tried to be accommodating. WiFi available but not free and signal was weak up in our site. A nice place to stay if satellite is not an issue. Kind of an out of the way location; not close to restaurants, grocery or attractions. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed at this KOA based on a friend's recommendation and were not disappointed! We were close to everything in the White Mountains and the KOA facilities were wonderful! The natural surroundings were great and we really enjoyed the camp hosts. The restrooms and showers were updated and clean. The laundry area was also clean and stocked with information on area activities! We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
One of the best campgrounds we've ever used, despite it's small size. I have a few basic requirements - clean bathhouse, clean pool, clean laundry facility, good store. This place met and exceeded these expectations. Their pool even had a 2-feet depth at the low end. I know it doesn't seem like much, but that means toddlers can touch the bottom, it was big deal for my littlest one! Bathhouse was in perfect condition, something I really, really appreciate. I highly recommend it. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
Wonderful owners, very helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to assist us. We arrived in the dark and the owner helped up choose our site and helped back my husband in. Well stocked store, immaculate kept bathrooms and pool and grounds. Excellent location for shopping and site seeing. Beautiful scenery and good sized sites. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The sites on top (newest sites) are very nice, roomy, quiet -- away from road noise and closest to the newest restroom building. A lot of things to do in the area. We drove to the top of Mt. Washington, fall color was fantastic, visited friends in Maine, and were able to observe several moose on early (crisp) morning drives along likely areas. Had a great time. Owners have the grounds in great shape. We are going back again this October. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This park was a small gem. The facilities were immaculate!!! The pool was small but adequate and the playground was open and spacious. Great location for sightseeing to the White Mountains and outlet shopping. The sites were a bit close but still room for double slide outs. The office/store was well-stocked and the laundry facilities were more than adequate for the number of sites. A small game-room and lounge with TV and hot coffee and cocoa rounded out the amenities. We camped here in a camper.
Beautiful views, quiet, very friendly helpful owners. Sites are level with all connections in good order. Wonderful places to walk ourselves and the dogs. Very convenient to all areas of the White Mountains. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
A nice little campground nestled behind a quaint roadside motel. Nothing amazing but not too bad either. Fast internet connection, good cell phone reception, pretty views of the mountains, and a short path down to the river. Owner is very nice too. Best price and best place in the area. Only for self contained rigs no showers or baths available. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Perfect as a base for outdoor activities in the White Mtns. Sites are all in sunny locations, (in Sept. that is perfect) level and easy to get in and out of. RV Park sits behind rental cabins. The views are phenomenal. The Park is surrounded by mountains. There is a large pool, game room and laundry with a clothes line! Lots of info for enjoying the surrounding mountains is available. Owners on site, friendly and helpful. Make note there are no bathrooms or showers and grocery shopping is best done prior to arrival. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a nice park for those with big rigs but it simply a basic place to park your rig while touring. It has absolutely no fringes whatsoever. There is NO shade and only 30 amp service so if it is hot you are out of luck. The owner was friendly, the Wi-Fi and cable worked without problems. This is probably your best choice in this area, but nothing to get excited about. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Camped in 45 foot motor home. Easy access off Exit 35 of I-93 then 9 miles north on US3 on west side of highway. Take the second drive for straight access behind the motor court cabins to the RV park. No trees to block satellite TV or obstruction hazards. Interior roads and sites are gravel with some grass. Each site has a picnic table. WiFi worked great at Site 2 close to the office. All sites are pull through. Park does not have restrooms or showers. Park is in the White Mountains region with many things to do. Owner, Cheryl, is very friendly and helpful. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice little park. No bathrooms/showers but we liked the greeter here. Very helpful. WiFi is available at no cost if you request the password. Nice little laundry cabin. We toured the White Mountains from here and rode the Cog Railway at Mount Washington (11 mi away). We camped here in a Motorhome.
A pleasant, open site with good views of the sky and surrounding mountains. VERY helpful and accommodating owners. Left to choose whatever site we wanted. We have a dually/36' high-profile fifth wheel. Our pull-through site was open, large and very easy to access. Good free WiFi even at a distance from the office where the simple router was situated - a new antenna is to be fitted for better reception. Good cable TV. Poor 30A service which could ONLY JUST run a single a/c unit. Luckily it wasn't hot while we were there! Might be a problem if park is busy. Good location for White Mountain attractions. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very nice park, all sites are pull throughs. Owners are very nice and helpful. They have very nice views of Mountains. We will be going back. They didn't have restroom or showers but that was ok because we have our own.Very clean and Friendly We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

This is a clean easy access campground. The sites are all pull through with full hookup. Plenty of room for slide-outs and awnings. The mountain views are spectacular. We have stayed here many times through the years and have always been made to feel at home. Owners are extremely pleasant and will go out of their way to help you. This campground is designed for trailers and motorhomes only as there are no shower
facilities. We camped here in a camper.
