We've recently returned to camping here. The staff is very welcoming when we come, and was very accommodating for our site request. There's a small playground, large field and lots of shaded sites. The camping cabins are very nice too. They open very early in the season, and close pretty late as well, which is great! They have many themed weekends, and my kids love going for them! A fun place to stay! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is the second time we've stayed here. This is a very nice campground with a suitable playground and a nice looking pool. There's a fully stocked store and the sites are maintained nicely. The bathrooms were clean and accommodating. There is free Wi-Fi but the signal strength is non-existent. The park is pet-friendly, but there are so many dogs that the barking is nearly constant first thing in the morning until quiet time. We are dog people, but it got to be a little ridiculous. There was a nice fathers day breakfast on Sunday and we would stay here again due to the proximity to various places. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

First time at this resort. Very nice place. spotless. bathrooms were nice. Showers were so so, but according to other campers, the owners are constantly making improvements. Really had a wonderful time. Pool was beautiful, playgrounds for the kids were great. Rules were strictly enforced, no problems with noise or unruly people, even though it was a holiday weekend. Wi-Fi is free. I am getting used to being nickered and dimes for everything at campgrounds up and down the East coast, so that is a drawback, but try and find somewhere that is not the case anymore. There were a lot of seasonals, but they kept them separated from the other sites, and unlike other campgrounds there were no decks, etc. attached to the seasonals. I would not hesitate to go back to this campground. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a "resort" in name only. It has seen its best days a long, long time ago. Mostly seasonal sites, poorly maintained roads, trash and old camper parts, awnings, covers, etc., left where they fell. Store stuffed with junk, crowded and un-organized. Saw only one or two other non-seasonal RV's. Had our choice of 5-6 different sights, chose the best of the bunch and had a tough time backing in between the trees, junk, and other obstacles. We could not get into another nearby campground and had to settle for this. Luckily we were staying with friends and only had to sleep here 2 nights out of 7. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This resort is the "last resort" and we had no other choices in the area. This was as close as we could get to McGuire Air Force Base, where my son is stationed. The sites were long, but nowhere near level. Lots and lots of sand and rocks. Picnic tables covered with mold. Everything was old and falling apart. The whole place looked like a junk yard for old RVs. They had lots of unfriendly rules. For example, if I wanted to have my military son and his wife over for dinner, the "resort" wanted to charge them $10 each to enter the park. It was so patriotic I wanted to puke. Every Wal-Mart parking lot I've ever stayed in beat this place, hands down. I'll never stay there again. I gave this place a rating of 2 only because the site was long enough and the hookups worked. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This campsite had no curb appeal. Right off the bat it looked old and unkept. The staff was okay, not overly welcoming. The pool was nice. The playground was in need of a serious overhaul. Everything was OLD and needed replacement. The kiddie pool was filled in with sand and the play toys were so old that some of them had sharp edges that might produce injuries. Bathrooms were old and smelly, somewhat clean. The C/G did not have activities planned for Sunday. There were many trailers there that looked like they were left there to rot so it seemed like a dumping ground for old trailers. Some sites looked awful (messy and filthy) and it didn't seem to bother the staff because these particular sites have been like that for a long time. How do I know this... the tires of the camper were halfway sunk into the ground. It did not present a good appearance. I will not camp here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Run as fast as you can. They should not even be using the word "Resort" in the title of this place. The website is a total scam. The park doesn't look anything like it does online. Before arriving, we were actually excited about this campground from the website pictures and details. Once we arrived, although the office says open, no one is ever there. A few of the locals, mentioned the owners are going through some legal issues. Everything is overgrown, nothing is maintained or treated. The lake is a swamp and the nearby lakes are all empty. It is right down the street from Six Flags, and it seems quite a few kids live on the property and work at Six Flags during the day and party at night. Someone else told us to watch our credit card for unauthorized charges from the owner. Stay away! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We had no power, cable, or wi-fi at our site. The office sent someone to fix it. He was either drunk or on something. Never was fixed ,and he left his tools laying on the ground until the next morning. Had to sign a waiver about ticks and wild animals (a first for me). When we got to our site I could see why. Weeds taller then me all through the "resort". Dog had a tick within five minutes, and we found two inside our motorhome. No facilities of any kind, and the rates are outrageous for what you get. Find someplace else. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this park during the 4th of July. It is a run down trailer park more than an RV.Their are small children running around all day unsupervised with a lake and is very noisy all day and night. While we were there there was a car chase involving two drunks and one of them drove his truck into the lake. Cable did not work, water lines were full of air, bathrooms and showers were filthy, laundry room always flooded and machines not working. The worst was the geese every morning and the tons of crap they left at your campsite. We would not return if it was free. Would not recommend. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We drove through this camp ground. Lots of full time campers with some very old campers. The grounds were not kept up at all. Nice lake. Pot holes in the driveway area that you could lose a small car in. Talked to some locals and they said to stay away due to plenty of drugs and convicts. We camped here in a Tent.

This place is a full time campground which has the poor living there full time. The park will actually rent you a trailer to live in. While we were there we learned the town has been trying to close this place for years, due to problems with drug traffic and other crime. I live in town and used to buy propane there and dump, until we stayed there for a weekend on a shakedown trip before going out. Big mistake. Bypass this one! We camped here in a Truck Camper.

This is a delightful RV resort located in the woods and next door to Six Flags. The office personnel are very helpful and friendly. They have a theme for every weekend and are decorated for Halloween right now. It is a quiet place and one we will recommend to our friends and we would stay here again. My Verizon MiFi works well. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A lot of things must have changed since the previous reviewers. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the pool was clean and bright. The restrooms that I saw were clean and well-maintained. Each space in the area where I stayed was level and gravel, with water, electric and cable. The park has mini-golf, a playground and a big pool; and it is located on a nice little lake with boats available. There are a number of seasonal visitors in some areas of the park and they have some things stored outside their RVs which gives it a little tent city look. However, I have heard no noise from anyone, and everyone: overnighter and seasonal alike, seemed very pleasant. I observed no irritating or objectionable behavior at all. They accept Passport America on Sunday - Thursday nights, giving a 50% discount. I would absolutely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stay Away from this place! Owners were clueless about their own policies. Sites were small and poorly maintained. It felt like we were camping in a recently bulldozed construction site. The bathrooms are the worst I have been in out of all the campgrounds I have been to. The lake just looked dirty and some of the docks were falling into the lake. No separation between campsites so you get to know your neighbors. It was extremely overpriced at $44 a night plus $6 a night for each additional person. Each campsite was supposed to hold 5 people but when we arrived our site could hold one 2 person tent and the picnic table. If you go here it's your own fault! We camped here in a Tent.

We just bought our first trailer and decided on this campground because of its close proximity to our home. Staff was friendly. Clean restrooms. Thankfully, our neighbor was very helpful in helping us back in to our site. I still need much practice in this area. I mentioned that this was our first trip to the office staff and thought they’d send out a staff member to help with that, so this was a bit disappointing. The Wi-Fi was not bad, but couldn’t connect every time I tried. Cable TV only had 11 channels. Enjoyed a couple of the activities they hosted. Did not use the pool, but it appeared to be crystal clear. Site was level, with plenty of space. Campground is well maintained. Had a great time and will return here. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

First time visiting this campground. Staff was very friendly at first arrival, and the campground and facilities were very clean and organized. The site itself was a nice size and clean as well. Easy in and out with our 34' TT. We had a lot of rain this weekend and the rivers flowing through the campsites were pretty big and deep, however, they did drain out pretty good after the storms passed. My issue was the number of seasonal campers who thought of themselves as mightier than the transients. They felt it was okay to complain about our radio at 10:15 when quiet hours didn't start until 10:45, yet their dog was barking, yelping and running all over the place. The campground staff was also very one-sided in this regard. Our radio wasn't too loud, and others around us were fine with the volume. So I am just chalking this up to the individual who seemed to be really tight with the staff. Since the heavy rain fell all day, we couldn't enjoy the facilities as we would have normally done. The campground just opened and RC Track, however, they don't tell you electric cars only. Just an FYI. We will considering camping here again, but hopefully another site will be available. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This campground offered great amenities and activities; we enjoyed the dance with Santa a lot. A lot of seasonals that really seem to love their campsites. Nice wide sites, good location. The bathrooms could have been a bit better--lots of bugs and the showers didn't look great. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
