This park is NOT set up for larger RV, at least where they placed us. We were a group of about 11 RV's and what they gave us was simply a slum area! I could hardly get my RV in the tiny space and had to ask the person behind me to move his truck as he was parked in the street! Had to really work so that i could open my slideouts! Lots of RV's here that have not been moved in 7 years. ( i.e. registration cert on windshields). Sidewalks cracked, cats everywhere, people had pit bulls in their residential mobile home and dog droppings everywhere. Cable TV was on the opposite side of the park and we were not told this. Would rather stay at a roadside park than stay here again! We used the club house which was nice and the laundry facilities looked clean. Dog area was VERY SMALL and the gate was broken! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here 2 nights. The staff is friendly, however this place is run down. We asked for a space with cable TV, you have to pay $2.00 more for that. We hooked up the electric and cable TV and they didn't work correctly. We told the management and move to a different location. We finally did get limited cable and enough amps to use the microwave. I went to use the showers and they are closed from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM. I found that strange because checkout time is at noon. I don't plan on coming back, but it is OK if you have no place else to go! We camped here in a Motorhome.

The swimming pool was not in service in 2009 and will not be in service in 2010. This campground has seen better days. Trees have been butchered and overall landscaping is in rough shape. The campground is just across the street from two large trucking depots. Unfortunately, sleep at night is difficult as the sound of many large trucks loading, unloading and running their refrigerator units is overwhelming. The park's planned activities consist of a weekly potluck during the winter and a weekly game of dominoes, also during the winter only. The showers are fairly clean but unpleasant due to the shower heads. The water is like being hit by a sand blasting unit. Laundry room is so-so and ice-cold in the winter. Wi-Fi is really only available in the clubhouse. Propane is not always available since only a few people are qualified to pump it. They have also ran out during a very cold spell here in winter of 2010. There are small trees by most of the sites, but they give little to no respite from the summer sun. We are leaving here early spring and will not be back. People are nice enough but are letting the campground fade away. They do include electric in their rates and many people here are nice. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Several old mobile homes in this park along with numerous, run down travel trailers. This park is very old and run down. The site parking width is only 12 feet from patio to wall. Our 36ft fifth-wheel had to drive across a sidewalk to squeeze into space. There is free Wi-Fi that worked fairly well. Said to keep off grass: but there was none. We would not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We were able to get cable at our site. There is a small dog park but not much grass and lots of stickers. The people at the desk were very nice and told us about a moon light program at White Sands. We used the laundry which was very clean. Also had a nice little gift shop. We camped here in a Motorhome.

$28 plus $1.25 extra for cable is a bit steep, in this traveler's opinion. The property, a former KOA, retains the A-frame theme clubhouse building. Wi-Fi is at clubhouse only. The "heated pool" in the TL ad is only heated "in season"--July and August (won't it be like 100 degrees then?) Spacious sites and roadways, nice concrete screen block wall at patio with picnic table. Landscaping sparse, with just a few overscaled bushes remaining from the original plantings. Plenty of gravel and few if any weeds. The owners could easily justify the price with a heated pool, additional Wi-Fi repeaters, and a $100 per site investment in renewed and refreshed landscaping. Until then, it's no resort, just a one-night stopover. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very clean and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Wireless works throughout the main building. We used the wireless in the laundry which was open all night. We had no problem getting a site with cable TV which had lots of channels. Some of the sites get direct wireless right in your rig and itis free! But the park was really crowded when we were there so we just used the main building for our online work. This is a gem, and our park neighbors say they have been repeat customers over and over. It is an older park, but very well maintained. We will return for sure if we go through Alamogordo. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Just an update; I agree with the previous reviews. Bath houses are dated but clean and the laundy facilities, while mostly OK, had at least one washer that wouldn’t spin, requiring much dryer use. Don’t believe their claim to cable TV: on our site and the one adjacent it had been cut off at the ground. Never mind, there were lots of stations in the UHF spectrum on the amplified antenna. Club house was nice, with a really neat cafe area. Because the WIFI antenna had been installed beneath a metal roof (where do they find these technicians?) you have to be in either the laundry room or the cafe to use it. That said, though, in those locations the signal strength and speed were great. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I may have my expectations up too high, but I don't think staying for 8 days is worth 255.00 for this campground. Owner said that the governor has to get his share. What is that all about? I should had called before and got a price quote. The last two weekly stays at other campgrounds were around 135.00 for a week plus one day. The rest rooms were nice and roomy. But the upkeep around the campground is lacking. It seems that half the campground is empty. I would move to another campground if I could get an easy refund. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice park in downtown Alamogordo right off the main street. WalMart is nearby. Nice concrete patio area with a grill. Also had a nice laundry room. Some sites do not have cable TV connections. Staff was friendly. Propane and dump site were available. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a terrific park. This family-owned park is very clean, attractive, has great laundry facilities (24/7) and a really nice gift shop. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. There are a lot of large shade trees, a pool, showers and propane is available on site. Some of the spaces had walls separating them with an attractive concrete patio area with built-in barbeque. The WI FI signal was not the best but a good constant signal could be picked up in the laundry room, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We don't know about cable or telephone hook-ups as we don't use them. The park was not difficult to find as there is a sign on the main highway. This park was quiet, restful and quite attractive with the park located just at the base of the mountains. What was especially refreshing about this park is that they made no claims to be anything but what they actually were. We will definitely stay at this wonderful park again in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.

It's located on 24th street, but not easy to find. Paved roads, level gravel sites, with concrete patios and tables, some shade. They honor Good-Sam and AAA. Free Wifi and cable TV. Nice pool, the restrooms and showers were clean. Small playground for the kids. Friendly staff. Only draw back was some train noise. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The folks at this campground went out of their way to insure that we were satisfied with
our site. They even took us on our tour of the grounds, pointing out where the dog walking area was located and where their son lived (for security purposes.) The sites range from gravel to grassy, some have short walls dividing them from each other. The restrooms are old but very clean. The office/store area has a microwave so campers can heat up the convenience foods sold at the campground. All in all, this is a great campground...one we will surely visit again. We camped here in a Tent.

Propane on site. Campground is tight on space and sites were skinny, we could not put our
slides completely out. Convenient location just off of US 54/70 and quiet, lots of snowbirds. Would stay again for short type stay, would not stay more than a few nights. Staff and residents were helpful and very friendly. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The rate reflects a weekly stay. You will need to add electricity to this rate. This is a spacious park with plenty of room to maneuver and generous sites. Our Sprint and Verizon worked well. There is a corral for horses, but we were far enough away the smell didn’t bother. There were two pages of rules. Water pressure was good. There was some road noise, but it quieted down late in the evening. There was train noise, but it wasn’t bad. The rooster crows every morning. Be careful entering and exiting the park onto the four-lane divided highway. We saw one horrible accident just down the road from the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park is fairly new and trees are small; the sites and roads are all gravel. We stayed here on Passport America for one night. It might work for an overnight stop, but the advertised Wi-Fi is very, very slow at best, and we very frequently get "kicked off". There is a lot of road noise. We might stop here again if we're only traveling through, but I would not pay more than the $15 Passport rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a very nice CG, and we would definitely stay here again. The office folks were very friendly and welcoming. And although they are in the desert (dirt and gravel; no grass or trees), they have done a good job of laying out and maintaining their park. They have a fenced-in dog park. And the only time I could smell the horses at all was when I was standing right next to them! I enjoyed their presence. I found it to be pretty quiet at night and certainly had no worries about safety/security while there. If ever in the area again, I feel sure we'd stay there! Rate is my average of the two nights we were there (one night was $15 with Passport America discount, the other $24 with Good Sam). We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park is new and is very well maintained. Staff is friendly. Location on Highway 54 is convenient to town. Prices have been reduced slightly since it opened. We got a one day Passport discount and the standard $2 Good Sam discount for the 2nd night. It is large rig friendly. It rarely fills so reservations aren't required. Now for the down side. It is basically a gravel parking lot. There is no shade and no privacy between sites. It is right on the highway and traffic noise is intense. For some unknown reason there are 3 or 4 horses stabled in pipe corrals in the middle of the campground. The horse area and bathrooms are both surrounded by the same privacy fence. You can smell horse manure all over the park when the wind blows. They also have concerts in the same area. Fortunately there was no concert while I was there. The bathrooms couldn't be nicer, however, at night the surrounding area is pitch black dark and near the highway. The constant noise from the highway would drown out any call for help. I did not feel safe when I walked out of the shower house. I may stay here again simply because there is no where else BUT I won't ever again use the showers at night. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The rate reflects the Good Sam discount. A very nice park with lots of driving room and good space between sites. Level, graveled sites. Easy to back in a 40 foot coach. The wireless internet worked well but it appears it is metered because after being on for about 30 minutes, it kept logging me off. Great location right off the main road about 6 miles North of Alamogordo. Very friendly owners and staff. Nice area for walking the dogs both on and off leash. This is a nice RV Park. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It is all graveled so not dusty at all. No grass but a nice table and privacy fence in each site. Other than a little highway noise it is overall a quiet park. Huge pull throughs, very big rig friendly. Hookups in very good condition. The Wi-Fi was spotty and unreliable at times so I resorted to using my air card instead. Great fenced in off-leash dog area as well. I would say this is probably one of the nicest RV parks in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Wow! Perfectly maintained campground with the easiest in/out ever. It is on the road but noise was acceptable. The Passport rate included 50 AMP, and free Wi-Fi. Level sites which was appreciated because our leveling jacks were inoperable. There are dividing fences between each site and there were no trees to scrape the sides of the MH or to drop sap on the roof or to block satellite reception. (Hey, we are old and did our duty of sleeping on the rocks in a tent in the 60's) Wonderful value and gracious hosts. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects PA discount. A very nice RV park: all open and flat with all pull-through sites, with little rail fences between sites. Nice park, very friendly helpful and accommodating staff. Free loan of sledding discs for the dunes at White Sands (about 25 minutes away.) Our rate reflects 4 people with Good Sam discount. Would have given a 10 but the wireless Internet was frustratingly slow and at times not working at all. This is important to us as we usually camp at state and national parks and splurge on a park with wifi maybe once a week, so it is frustrating when it doesn't work well. We spent a week here for $125.00 plus tax and electric. Sites are wide, gravel, and fairly level. The park is located outside of town on Hwy 54. Road noise wasn't too bad. Bathrooms were clean, large, and private. Didn't use the laundry, I felt is was too expensive at $2.00 a load for both washer and dryer plus if you don't have HE detergent, it was there to purchase bringing it close to $5.00 a load. Owners were very nice and they keep the park in great condition. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Well marked from the highway with easy access. Pull through sites were also well marked with all connections in good working order. The hosts/owners apparently live on site and were very friendly and helpful. They work hard to make the park as nice as possible in the harsh environment. This is probably one of the better RV parks in the Alamogordo area. Our costs reflect Good Sams and Passport America discounts. The pros are that the management is good and they led us to our site. The utility hookups were adequate as expected. The cons were that the highway noise was fairly loud and there was no shade what so ever. One of my pet peeves is they have no recycling of any kind in this day and age. We would stay here again but also would check further into some of the other parks first. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice Big sites. Wi-Fi worked best at office, not good at the site. Dog Run with picnic table and waste collection tools, Waste bags were also available on the dog walk. Plenty of room to move in and out of the park. There is a horse corral so there are horse droppings on the lot. Sites are level. Large, pull through, gravel sites. Led in by staff. Site is long but needed a 1/4 inch board to level trailer side to side. Roads are wide and easy to maneuver. Very windy our first day. Blowing dirt in campground was not a problem. Rain and snow on second day; drainage was good. Picnic table on a metal pad in each site. No cable TV. Antenna picks up 10 TV channels. This is a new and extremely nice RV park with a great environment that made us feel very much at home upon our arrival. This campground is very modern with a western theme. They also hold church services on Sundays and Bible Study on Wednesday nights. While there they had live Christian Music entertainment (one evening a month) which was delightful. This campground certainly warrants a Rating of 12 for down home friendliness. The staff go out of their way to make your visit special. We certainly will stay at this park anytime we are in the New Mexico area. We just LOVED our visit here. They give a Good Sam Discount too! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is in the desert and reflects a desert environment. There are no trees, but that being said it is great place to stay. The sites are large and easy to access. The owners are VERY friendly and accommodating. I was especially impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the laundry room. This was the first RV park I have encountered with the new "He" washing machines. We will return and spend more time at Boot Hill Resort. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a fairly new CG. The owners are both nice and trying hard to improve it. For example they are constructing picnic tables. The absence of them did not bother us since the wind blew 30 plus and gusted to 50 the entire time we were there. Dust storms obscured the view of the mountains in front of our coach. The CG is a mix of dirt and gravel. The sites are very large. Water pressure was good, and 50 amp was reliable. Wi-fi is strong and reliable. Good Verizon signal. The office is nice and they have DVDs to rent for $2 and a book swap. It is about 10 miles north of downtown Alamogorda. As we drove by other CGs we did not feel that they were any better or worse. Rate is the weekly rate of $125 plus $20 fee to use our on board washer plus $33.50 in electric at $.15 per KH. We really like the owners, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. But $31/day for the weekly rate is just too much for a gravel parking lot, without trees or picnic table, poor water (not their fault), and significant road noise. The park has no septic system, so all waste water goes to holding tanks which the owner empties and trucks to the sewage plant, hence the washer fee. Or you can use the limited laundry at $2 per load, wash or dry. Sites are large and hookups are convenient, but sorry, we can stay at other places in town for less with the same or better amenities. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Needed an overnight in this area so we selected this park from RV Park Reviews. Was not disappointed. It is very convenient as it is on US 54. Hosts were friendly. We were escorted to our site, which is all gravel. Utilities are well-placed and in good condition. Wi-Fi was excellent. No next-door neighbors so we did not get a feel for closeness of sites. Some road noise from the highway, but it did not disturb sleeping. Would give a higher review if they had cable TV as we missed not having access to ESPN that evening. We would stay here again. Great huge camping drive-thru spaces. We were here for a rally. Nice facilities; but the 'meeting' room was very rustic and not conducive to holding 'this time of the year' gatherings (too airy and cold). But it would be a nice 'meeting room' during slightly warmer weather. Staff were all great people. Easy access from Hwy 54/70 (watch for the big white pistachio to make your East turn). When a place uses the word "Resort" I expect much more. Boot Hill is excellent for an overnight stay. The available amenities and the quality of the facilities does not rate this a resort. This is basically a well maintained and well designed gravel lot RV Park with outstanding hook-ups. Looks to be the best in the area. Access roads, the sites and open space areas are just gravel with just a few well spaced young pine trees. The on-site recreational opportunities begin with and end with a horse shoe pit. The book exchange was very disappointing since it consisted of just a few novels. The exercise room has a few pieces of equipment and little or nothing for weight lifting. I walked in to work-out and then turned right around and walked-out. It closes at 6:00 PM. The laundry is on the expensive side. It is $2.00 per wash and $2.00 per dry. There is highway noise, and a rail line is nearby. We stayed here at the Passport America rate. It is honored for only one night. There is nothing here to entice us to stay at this RV Park a second night at double the price. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a fairly new campground. Very stark, it's all gravel. We would have given it a "9" except there was no shade. However, the pull-thru sites are large and the owners are very helpful and friendly. We had all the basic hook-ups including Wi-Fi, but no cable. It's located on the main highway close to the city of Alamagordo. We spent 2 days here and visited White Sands and several places in the city. If we ever come back this way we would stay here again. This campground met our needs for two days while we visited White Sands National Monument which is a 45 minute drive. The park has long and level gravel sites; roads are wide with gravel. The combination shower and bathroom is very clean; the two bathrooms were spotless. Their Wi-Fi is fast and we had no problem getting a reception on our Verizon cell phones. The negatives are no shade trees, no cable TV, hard water and light traffic noise. Owners are friendly and hours of operation are limited. They are closed on Sundays and open 6 hours during the week. I’d recommend the campground for short stays. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is located right on Hwy 54/70 so there is some traffic noise. There is a railroad track nearby but trains don’t blow their whistles and don’t run frequently so noise from the train is non-existent. The entire park is gravel. The sites are wide, level and long so you don’t have to disconnect if just staying a night. Electricity was very good. Verizon phone and air card work well. The on site wireless had a strong signal. There are two newer-model washers and two dryers but they are a little pricey. There is a small book exchange library. There is a small room with free weights, however, it is only opened when the office is opened. The office rents videos for $2. The bathroom/showers are large and were very clean. However, the water here is very hard and it would be much better if there was a water softener in place for the showers. Owners are very friendly and helpful and provide good information about the area. There is a lot to do in the area. Rates reflect a one week stay with 30 amp. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The owners have done their best to provide everything we look for in an RV Park: spacious sites, clean restrooms, level sites, clean well placed utilities, lovely office and gift shop, discounts for PA and Good Sam, and a friendly attitude. We stayed a week and really enjoyed the area. There is plenty of room for the big rigs to maneuver. Everything is gravel and the sites are well marked with plenty of room. If you have a rear window, a back-in site will probably give you a great view. The only negative was that our site appeared level, but it actually sloped to the front enough that we had to put the front up on blocks. The rate reflects a weekly stay and includes the extra dollars for electricity. We would stay here again if in the area and will recommend it to our friends. They did not offer recycling, but there was a recycling center on the left as you went back into town. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Boot Hill RV Park … what can I say about this place? It is wonderful! We stayed here in early February and again March 19-21, 2010. The spaces are wide and plenty long to accommodate our 37’ 5th Wheel plus plenty of room for our truck. The sites are almost totally level – only slightly off side to side - not enough to run up on levelers. The Internet access is free and much better than most. It cut out from time to time, but only for a few minutes. The rest of the time it was fast enough to feel quite comfortable and not the least bit frustrating. The scenery is awesome as the site is close to the beautiful mountains nearby. The owners are awesome, friendly and helpful. Hopefully they can afford to put in a pool/hot tub soon as that one addition would rate a 10. We recommend this park to anyone traveling near Alamogordo. We will most definitely stay here again and again. As a side note, there are too many things to see in this area to even scratch the surface in three days. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

One of the very nicest parks we have stayed in during our travels. Owners went out of their way to make us feel at home. Great, honest, Christian people. When they say sites are large, they don't underestimate it. Some could handle mine towing another 40 footer. Water pressure great. Still new campground, no picnic tables (but they are working on that as I post this), no swimming pool, however owners are eyeing that possibility, no fire rings as often county regs prohibit a fire. Sites are wide and all gravel nearly level, nicely organized for hookups and ease of in and out. If you don't know what to see and do here, just ask. The owners have volumes of brochures free. Rate reflected the monthly rate which does not include electricity, we are still here, presently, and certainly plan on returning. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park owners and employees are very friendly and they gave a nice local information package when I checked in. The campground is not much more then a gravel parking lot with a few small trees scattered around with some rock and fence borders. It is located only yards from the highway and there is a lot of highway noise. The campground has sewer, water and electric hookups at each site. WiFi is available in the campground, the signal was strong but the connection stalled often. Verizon cell and data service was good and I ended up using it instead of the WiFi. The sites are fairly narrow. When your slide and awning is out it takes up the whole width of the site. There is a fenced dog run which is nice. The location is about 15 miles from White Sands National Monument and there is a lot of food and shopping close by. I would stay here again only because it is better then any of the other local campgrounds I looked at. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The office was closed on Sunday when we arrived, but they saw us pull in. They opened the office so that they could check us in. This park is big rig friendly. The sites are long and wide, but not level. The entire park is gravel and is very clean. There is an extra charge for each child. The bathroom and shower was very clean and spacious. The only thing I did not like was, to get to the bathroom and shower, you have to go through a gate in a tall, wood privacy fence. It is very dark, and even though there was a light that came on when entering through the gate, it just did not feel safe. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A great deal of work has been put into this relatively new park. The sites are spacious and the rates are reasonable. Its major drawback is that it is located right on US-70 / US-58 and there is no sound shielding from the highway noise. After requesting a quiet location, the office staff member placed me in one adjacent to the highway. When I objected to the person who led me to this location, he immediately relocated me to one behind the office complex, which did provide some protection from highway noise. Boot Hill is a new, well planned park with long, wide, gravel sites, spotless restrooms and laundry, wide, gravel inner roads and a location convenient to local attractions. The owners, who live on site, are the greatest! The minute you walk through the door, you are met with friendliness and warmth. They strive to make each guest’s visit the best possible, suggesting local interest activities and letting you know they are always available to help with questions. They have done a nice job developing the western theme within the park; the large comfortable office/lounge and gift shop make you feel right at home. We planned to stay just 2 nights but ended up staying for 8. That was great because we were able to enjoy a potluck and movie Saturday night in the outdoor pavilion. This park has space for traveling horses as well, perfect for those needing clean equine accommodations. The price reflects the weekly rate for 30 amp plus a rough estimate for electricity charge. OK! I don't do reviews and this is the first review I have posted after 2 plus years of full-timing. We normally travel from place to place weekly (sometimes bi-monthly) but after checking in at the end of February we decided to stay for a couple of months because: 1) the owners greeted us like old friends, 2) the park is new and 3) the price was right. As RV'rs themselves, this couple opened Boot Hill RV Resort back in late August 2008 after many, many months of hard work with Rv'rs in mind. Sites are very large, level with hookups easily accessible. A large covered and partially enclosed pavilion is available for potlucks, rally activities and live music. As a new park, shade trees and/or picnic tables are not yet available but the owners are continuing to make improvements everyday. The rates are very reasonable (we paid $200/month plus electric). We will stay here again whenever we are in this area of New Mexico. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has quickly become the class park of Alamogordo; spacious, well-laid out sites are separated by a rail fence, the facilities are immaculate, and the owners go out of their way to ensure a great stay. No trees or tables yet, and the water is really hard; but these are offset by the easy access to local attractions and the family atmosphere. Besides White Sands NM, the Sacramento Mountains offer an observatory tour, large Indian Casino, shopping, and wildlife viewing. Three Rivers Petroglyph site, Valley of the Fires, and Lincoln Historic Site are all great spots to visit from the park. Free admission to musical events and the pot luck dinners where we made new friends were highlights of our visit. This is an exceptional park with likewise exceptional owners; we'll visit again and wish them the best of luck. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here two nights. It is a very clean park with large sites. For a desert area it is very nice looking. The staff was very friendly and made arrangement for us to check-in late. The owners of this park keep a clean, quiet, family friendly place to stay. Live music of Western, Blue Grass, Blues, Gospel & more is offered for a nominal fee. There is a covered partially enclosed pavilion which is used for the live music, potlucks, other functions as needed. The washers & dryers at this park are better than average. My whites actually got clean again here. The atmosphere is extremely friendly for all campers, whether young or old. The only thing lacking is more shaded RV sites. But once the newly planted trees get larger this will be considerably better. This is one of the cleanest parks I've camped in. The gift shop has a variety of wonderful items, many from local artisans. There are many good restaurants in Alamogordo, as well as, grocery stores, gas stations, physicians or any other facility you might have need of. There are many historical areas, museums, theatres, etc. for entertainment in Alamogordo, NM. All sites are ample & have very easy hookups for water, electricity and sewer. There is ample lighting to see where you are going after dark. I have never camped at any RV Resort with a nicer more caring management. They genuinely care about all those who camp in their park. New park -- just opened 10/08. Easy access to White Sands National Monument, plus resort towns of Ruidoso and Cloudcroft. Owners extremely helpful, and the whole campground is neat and clean as a pin. Horse corral available, plus storage units. Nice dog walk area along perimeter of park. Cute gift shop with some local artists represented as well as a selection of "boot"-themed items. Road noise minimal at night, and no train running next to the campground. Sites are gravel, wide, long and level. Water pressure was good, with all sites 50-amp and full hook-up. Price is inexpensive for month-long stays. Owners have created a darling picnic area where there are live music concerts; they also organize potlucks as well. Laundry has two high-efficiency (HE) washer and dryers, so bring HE detergent because it will work better. You can also buy HE single packs in the laundry. Laundry is a bit more expensive than some places ($2 per wash/$2 per dry), but machines are extra capacity. Highly recommend if you are going to be in the Alamogordo/White Sands area. We mentioned that someone had hit our rig with a paint ball, and not only did they suggest a remedy, but actually had their son come out and go up the ladder and take care of it for us practically before we got hooked up! Arrived on Christmas evening and stayed 2 nights and had the place to ourselves. A few very minor issues, there are only 2 showers (even if they very clean and nice), the Wi-Fi needs you to keep logging in using a cryptic password and finally the location is a little north of the city. Would recommend to others and stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a brand new park and is still in the growing stage. Overall appearance is excellent. All of the sites whether pull-through or back-in are deep and wide. Very Big Rig friendly. Amenities include exercise room, gift shop, picnic area, dog walk (there are dog restrictions so be advised to check first), and laundry. In addition, there is free coffee and pastries 7-10 am daily, free popcorn, weekend music, trash pick-up at the site, mail drop off, and storage units are available. Saving the best for the last, this couple here are wonderful hosts and very accommodating. We stopped again on our way back to Tucson from Kansas City and they have continued to finish up the resort in time for the winter season. If in the area we definitely recommend Boot Hill RV Resort whether a one night rest or a longer site-seeing stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This brand new RV resort is worth your consideration. We visited with a rally group and found the facilities and the owners to be very pleasant. The sites are large so big rigs will have plenty of elbow room. The Pavilion is a great place to hold rally events, and the gift shop is beautifully done. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a newer park that is good for overnight, or visiting the area. It is not a destination park. It is designed for full hookups (w,s,e) We only needed 30A. I'm not sure if there is 50A. I don't know if the office has showers and restroom or not. After hours, the 2nd gate is left open. This is an operating feed and tack business, so during the day there is some tractor/loader noise. It is located about 1 mile West of Hwy 54 on the North side of town. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A quiet, clean park with level, pull through sites. Plenty of room to maneuver. Maybe less space during busier times, but in April it was great. The hook ups were positioned in a neutral position so a fore or aft connect to our RV would be possible. No staff visible, but a sign noted the manager's trailer. Pay the iron ranger and go your merry way. We stayed two nights. We'll be back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Good for an overnight stop. Easy in and out. Just drop payment in box and pick a site. If crowded, the side by side sites could become crowded. This is near the military installations. We never did see an owner/manager - dropped payment in a box. Local residents unfriendly. Appears CG is under renovation but did not interfere with setup. Pull-through sites are very long and wide enough for three slides. Roads were paved and sites were gravel and fairly level. Mostly long term tenants but they are polite and maintain clean rigs. The park is off HWY 70 heading towards White Sands and is just past the relief route around Alamogordo allowing faster access to various parts of the city. Good Verizon data card signal. Spaces are narrow but not too bad. Dirt and sparse gravel. Quiet at night. From our spot you could see the white dunes off on the horizon and it was neat to occasionally get a sonic boom from the F-22s. A unique place to stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here 6 nights. The rate is $25 per night and if you stay 5 you get 2 free. A real bargain these days. As mentioned before, the sites for short stays are rather narrow, but it was a very quiet park, even with all the long term residents. The clubhouse was very nice with a homey feeling and lots of information for the area. The laundry facilities were good. Cable was good. Had to go to the clubhouse to use wi-fi. We stayed 2 nights to visit White Sands National Monument. This is the closest park to the Monument, just on the west side of Alomagordo. It started out as a mobile home park, but is now mostly RV's. Back-in spaces are quite large since they were built for mobile homes, but all were rented to long-term RV's. The pull-throughs are long but narrow with side by side hookups. All sites are level. WiFi at the clubhouse, but we could get it in the coach 8 spaces away. This worked fine for 2 nights and we would have given the park a 7 if not for the close neighbors. Manager is very helpful and gave us area and state maps. As advertised, park is very quiet. It's several hundred yards off the highway and about a mile from the train tracks. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We needed a place to overnight for laundry facilities and dump site. This fit the bill perfectly. The host/owner was very friendly and helpful. The laundry room although clean, was not finished and had a few hanging wires. We were not bothered by road noise, but we were the furthest rig from the road. Our mobile AT&T WiFi and cell phones worked fine. There was a lovely little building with the words "Got Books?" on a sign outside, which was set aside for a book/magazine exchange. There was an exercise room and a TV room, but the equipment older. The rate we paid reflects Passport America/Escapees rate. He also gives discounts to veterans and senior citizens. We would camp here again if in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Even at the reduced Passport America rate ($15) and the add-on $4 fee for 20++ k/w electric use, this park is not worth the money. The grounds are poorly kept, weeds everywhere (hard to even get near the fishing pond); chairs and tables in the picnic pavilion are covered with about an inch of dirt/dust; collapsing or rusting outdoor chairs are scattered around the grounds, etc. The over-night are all side-by-side in a gravel parking lot along Highway #54, which offers a lot of traffic noise all night. There are quite a few seasonal trailers, many very old, rusting, with junk scattered about. There is ONE room, (shared by both men and women) which houses a pay shower (8 minutes for $1), a washer and dryer, and a toilet. Needless to say, there is a waiting line. To top things off, the place is located in a really seedy part of town, surrounded by junk yards. Wi-Fi is marginal at best. We will not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Passport America made this a $15/per night stay. The owner is extremely friendly, offers fishing, hiking, apple & pear picking on his private forest held land in addition to the RV park amenities. This is our second stay at Edgington RV Park. Rate reflects Passport America rate which was good for our entire stay, not just a day or two. We were here for some out-patient back surgery hubby was having at the local hospital. While this park isn't the Ritz, it's clean, secure, and all utilities worked fine. Road noise was not bad given the fact it sits right on 70/54. Management lives on site and patrols the park to make sure things are as they should be. A previous reviewer complained because he had to pay for electric used over the 20kwh per day allowed. We have a large 50 amp motorhome, ran 2 A/C units and a humidifier day and night, cooked all meals in the microwave, had electric hot water heat on all the time, had the TV on most of the time, and stayed 4 days. We only spent $2.55 extra for electric. That certainly wasn't excessive in my book. We will definitely stay here whenever we're in or around the Alamogordo area. Besides, the owner/manager is a really great guy and will bend over backward to make sure you're happy. He even stopped by a couple of times to inquire how hubby was doing after his procedure and to ask if there was anything he could do for us. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Don't stay here unless you like being taken by a con artist. If you call to make a reservation he tells you if he is not there to just look at the board and go to your site. Turns out he lives right next door and watches you pull in. He then waits till you get setup and drives up in a golf cart to get your payment. Then he informs you that you will be charged 15 cents per for any additional kilowatts that you use over the daily average. Of course that daily average is impossible to stay under. We ran only our air conditioner the one night we stayed and even switched our refrigerator over to propane. Still cost us an extra 4 bucks. I don't mind the 4 bucks, but I do mind being taken by a con artist. This is just a dirt parking lot with a couple of trailers that people live in there. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Our family was very happy with this park. It does abut the highway, but didn't bother us. Couldn't get the Wi-Fi to work, but that could have been our problem. The owner is very attentive, treated us like we were the only ones staying here. He appeared when we needed him and was laid back, but attentive to our needs and the integrity of the park. We came here after another park in the area because of the very good rate, and extended our overnight stay to a 3 night stay thanks to our comfort here, and finding more things to do in the area. We stayed with the PA rate of $15 per night. This is not a fancy RV park, and the landscaping was a bit rough, but it is autumn, and nothing looks that great this time of year. There is a catch & release pond. The manager is super friendly and helpful. They have a book exchange room with seating and a computer and printer for your use and an activity room, but I didn't check it out. Too early in the season for anything to be going on anyway. The wi-fi reception was good and fast. The bathroom was clean but strange. It was one little building with a toilet, sink, shower, hot water tank, washer and dryer. I don't know what happens if you are doing laundry and someone wants the bathroom. This is a good place to stay while touring the museum and white sands. Right on road, but not much in the way of road noise. Not a super busy highway. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Clean park but a little funky around the edges. About half the park were long term tenants. But not snow birds. Good price. Affable owner/manager. Nice owners/managers. Gravel roads & sites. Not a pretty park by any means. Owner said there was a large grassy dog run we could take our dog to, but we walked all over that place and never found it. Gas, fast food, restaurants and Wal-Mart are nearby and White Sands isn't too far. This campground is run by the nicest couple. However, it lacks amenities. Sites are in a gravel field, side by side hook-ups. If full, it would be VERY crowded. One small room that is laundry and bathroom. Your laundry could be held hostage by someone taking a shower! $1 for 8 minute shower. 15 cents per KWH over 20 per day. With A/C, that's going to happen. The park is run by a friendly and accommodating couple who work hard to keep their new park clean and make sure their guests are comfortable. The sites are sandy but level and spacious. There weren't a lot of people there so crowding wasn't a problem. Located just outside of town but close enough and a short drive to White Sands and Cloudcroft. The owners are just wonderful here; they greeted us very well and led us to our site. They came back later with numerous brochures and info on the area which was much appreciated. The park sites are gravel and all of the hookups were adequate. The problem we always have with these kinds of parks however is just how close together all of the rigs are parked in their sites; we really don't like that. I opted to use one of the newer sites where gray-water only sewer connection was available (I understand that the owner is in the process of getting the additional site hookups fully approved by the city, but it's not done yet.) We stayed in the older section of the park which had trees and was near the small pond. Being Summer, the new section was empty. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Our site was a little off level but easily solved. Picnic table and fire ring are not supplied. The owner did allow us to use some concrete blocks to make a fire ring. There is a metal, home style charcoal BBQ at each site. The restroom is a wood shed which also houses the washer/dryer & water heater. You have to pay $2 for the shower which is a little disappointing. They monitor your electrical usage and you pay for usage over 20 khw per day, however they tell you this up front, it seemed reasonable, and we didn't exceed the limit in our 2 night visit. The road noise was noticeable but didn't bother us. We were disappointed in the town of Alamogordo because there wasn't much to see or do. The space museum is worth a visit. The newer pull thru area is a big gravel parking lot but good for a couple of nights while sightseeing in the area. There are no sewer hookups in this section. I would have given this park a 10, except that it is built on a hill, so the sites are not level, and most were too small to accommodate our 32 foot 5th wheel. We arrived early on a weekday; there were lots of spots available but only two that we could get into. There was a wonderful cactus garden with the hedgehogs in bloom and at least two dozen hummingbirds hanging out at the the visitor center feeders, as well as some great hikes. With the proximity of Alamogordo, our AT&T personal hotspot worked well. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

What a beautiful place to stay. The rate doesn't include the 10$ reservation fee we needed to pay to make sure to have a site for our 34 foot 5th wheel. Most sites are smaller. But even with the reservation fee the overall value is very good. Far away from any traffic noise, well spaced sites with some desert greenery in between. Hookups are in the back, easy to connect. Site was a little unlevel but very well maintained. No Wi-Fi, but Verizon worked well. Unfortunately in spring, winds are strong and lots of dust in the air. Therefore, we couldn't enjoy the views into the desert or up the mountains. But we will come back sometimes in the future and stay for a few days, not only overnight. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is one of my favorite parks. Great park for the money. This park is getting to be a popular overnight stop. Reservations are iffy because less than half the sites are on the reservation system. We never get reservations, but we try to get to the campground before 4PM. After 5PM on week days you can usually score a site if you are willing to dry camp. I believe the dry camp rate is $10, so it is still a bargain. You can claim a W/E site the next morning as people leave. Besides hikes and the Visitors Center, the ruins of Frenchie's cabin is a short walk from the campground. Unfortunately, someone murdered the hardworking Frenchman and the finger of suspicion pointed to Oliver Lee's hired gunman. It was never proven. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a state park located 12 miles south of Alamogordo in the southern part of the state. It is located off of route 54 south about 12 miles south of Alamogordo and then another 4 miles on Dog Canyon Road. We were almost thinking of turning around because all we could see in front of us was a mountain and nothing else and then at the end of the road there was the campground. It is situated in a green oasis around the springs of Dog Canyon that is a deep ravine on the west facing flank of the Sacramento Mountains. There is a Visitor Center with exhibits and a mile away there are tours at 3 on weekends for the restored house of rancher Oliver Milton Lee. It seems Oliver was a Democrat and got into trouble with some Republicans. Pat Garrett tried to arrest him and there was a gun battle but he got away. Eventually he turned himself in. The campground has two loops and some of the sites you might have trouble getting level but we had site 1 and were able to get our 25ft RV level with the most beautiful views of the mountains behind us and the valley below. Some sites can be reserved and less than half of them have water and electric. There are some hiking trails - one about five miles up the canyon and then a pretty half mile hike down along the springs but beware of flash floods. The campground has a dump station, hot showers, interpretive programs, picnic, and wildlife viewing and modern restrooms It was not full on Saturday night but all the electric sites had been taken so you might want to reserve a site before you come. It was $14 for the site and on Reserve America another $10 for a transaction fee. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great place, great views! Campsites are spread out so you do have privacy. Bathrooms are clean with two shower stalls. The only bad thing I can say is that the showers have no temperature control and is only lukewarm to cold water while showering. The hiking trails are nice and the visitor’s center has a lot of history about the area. The price reflects the New Mexico State Park camping pass. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

A basic but beautiful park. We stayed four nights there and can recommend it. The strenuous dog canyon trail is definitely worth hiking. It has stunning views. Showers and toilets were in very good shape and cleaned daily. Park is located on a hill and offers a very nice view of the valley. Its location makes it very quiet. Only slightly negative experience was that the dump station was out of order. Apart from that, definitely would come back here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park was used as just a "stopping point" for us on our way from White Sands. The area was fairly easy to find, but our GPS announced our arrival just as we passed by a BLM gate. This was actually the park's border, not the campground, so if the same happens to you, just keep going. We were able to find a spot that our 33' MH fit in with some jockeying, but none of the spots were level and we settled for close enough. There is a visitor center but it was closed when we were here due to lack of personnel. There is a one mile trail along a stream that was quite nice and had interpretive signs along the way. There were several sonic booms at dusk that evening that were a big surprise but according to another camper this happens a lot. Things were quite before 9:00pm and stayed that way all night. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Pros: Amazing view of the Dog Canyon mountain and the moon rising over it. There is a great, strenuous hiking trail into Dog Canyon, which is peaceful and isolated. We could hear the fighter jets taking off each morning from White Sands and the occasional sonic boom that would shake the RV (though some may consider a con). It's close to White Sands National Monument. It has an incredible low price, cannot be beat. The sites are large, ours was flat, but a few we saw were quite uneven. Cons: The showers are pretty useless. There is no temperature control on showers, and you have to keep pumping it for water. The water was cool to lukewarm, and the room was chilly. Also there were only 2 showers, and the nozzle was broken on one in the men room. Also, there are only a few sites you can reserve, all the others are first-come, first-served, though there were plenty of sites available when we visited. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice campground right up against the mountains a little South of Alamogordo. Has a short, unmarked hiking trail that can be a little confusing. There is another trail that is very steep. Good Wi-Fi hot spot reception. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is the only great park in the area. However, it is 12 miles from town and the road to the park goes through a poor area. Don't panic, the park is very nice and safe. I have camped here twice. Keep in mind SW New Mexico is desert. There are no trees over ten feet tall. Views are terrific. The sites are mostly rectangular. The location of hitch-ups can be quirky. But they are easy to get into and fairly large. There is natural desert vegetation side to side. The park is clean. The visitors center is nice. Dog Canyon Hiking Trail is directly back of the visitor's center. The first .8 mile is almost straight up. After that, it is not too difficult if you are in fairly good shape. This park fills up on spring break and other holidays. Overnighters shouldn't have a problem getting a space during the week provided they arrive early. Late arrivals probably can get in, but may have to dry camp. This park is a great value. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a quiet relaxing park, with nice sites. There are hiking trails, and good views of the surrounding countryside. It's a few minutes out of town, but not bad for exploring nearby towns. The restroom/showers were closed for remodeling when I was here, but there was an alternate restroom in the visitor center, and outhouse in the group camping area. The ranger was friendly, and stopped a couple times to keep me posted on the water system going down one of the days that I was here. Like many of the New Mexico State Parks it gets most of its visitors on the weekend, and was fairly empty during the week. Even when it filled up it didn't seem overly crowded however. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful: now we see what the fuss is all about! Astonishing views in every direction, mostly roomy sites with good privacy. There is a very pretty botanical garden, and excellent (challenging) hiking. Not too many sites with hook-ups: we considered ourselves lucky to get such a site, even during these 'off-peak' times. Many gorgeous non-electric sites; lots of sun so good for solar. The rest room w/showers will soon be remodeled, and maybe shut down for some time. Pit toilets will still be available. Remote location 12+ miles outside of Alamogordo, so get stocked up before you arrive. We would be happy to stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very picturesque park, and was very quiet when we were there (just 2 other units). The sites are large, well spaced out and all seemed to have good views: some thought had obviously been put into the layout. It looks very new, and has a few niggles to sort out: temperature control in the showers wasn't working, and the lights in the shower block appeared to be on a timer that was out of synch...the lights were on during the day but went off at dusk! Frustrating as there are no full hook ups so we were relying on the facilites to avoid filling our tanks too quickly! All that being said, we would return if we were in the area again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is beautiful park with a great valley view. All roads are paved. We picked a non electric & water site. The Dog Canyon trail hike begins behind the visitors center & is a real leg burner to the top. We were there on a week-end so had some noisy teen-age tenters nearby on the Saturday night. Aside from that, our stay was great & we would definitely stop at this park again. Very quiet, very clean & very well looked after. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A wonderful State Park. Sites rest at the foot of the San Andres Mountains, with easy access hiking trails. It is only 9 miles to Alamogordo, nice town, and 13 miles to White Sands. If you are in New Mexico is a must visit, you will not be disappointed. Our kids (that includes me) had a blast sledding down the dunes. They rent the saucers at the gift shop. I recommend spring or fall camping. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is an excellent state park in the New Mexico State system. Views are incredible! Great hiking up the Dog Canyon trail. It's hard not to search for Apaches along the way. Staff is very friendly with a very good visitor center. The best thing is we dry camped here free for the first three days before moving to a water/electric site for $4 a night with the annual state park camping permit. I recommend this park for hiking, bird watching, and just plain easy relaxation. Verizon Air Card and cell phone services were outstanding. We'll be back again! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Another great NM State Park! It's about 12 miles south of Alamogordo and 4 miles East of the highway, up the slope of the mountain (great views of the sunset). It's nestled against the mountain (sorry, forgot the name of the mtn.) but the hike up Dog Canyon looked great. There is a grotto at the top, see the visitor center for details. If you can, call for reservations and you'll get the top most (closest to visitor center) sites. They are also the largest and most level sites. I have heard it costs an extra $10 to use the reservation system (!?) but if you're staying more then a few days, it's worth it. The bathrooms are spotless and the showers have very warm, bordering on hot water. We found this a great park to use to see the White Sands and the Museum of Space History. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park with great views from every direction. Very good water pressure, excellent cell & air card reception (Verizon), level sites (gravel & dirt) with paved roads. No problems with the electric. Located about 9 miles south of Alamogordo off of hwy 54. Very quiet here at night and during the day. There are a few hiking trails going up into Dog Canyon. Alamogordo has a Walmart Supercenter that was well stocked. The $4.00 we paid was because we purchased an annual camping pass($225.00 out of state, good for 12 months from date of purchase). They charge $4.00 for electric and another $4.00 if there's sewer. Otherwise it would have been $14.00. We stayed here for a week and would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We spent the Christmas holiday and there were only about 5 sites occupied. The views from this quiet campground are awesome and the desert vegetation beautiful. Only 4 of the electric/water sites are reservable. The sites are very large and have a fire pit and picnic table. Some of the sights have picnic tables beneath a shelter. It is very hot in the summer. There are nice low level lights that light up the trails to the bathrooms. The hookups on some of the sites are in an odd location. If you have a large rig, you can pull in but then have to maneuver to get in the right spot to access the hookups. We have a 35-foot fifth wheel. For example, in site #1, no matter from what direction you would pull into, your door would open onto the road side. Very odd. If you have a small rig, you could back into that site. The visitor center is very informative and the tour of the ranch house was very interesting. The Dog Canyon hike is beautiful but challenging. There is a pretty riparian trail. The weather was unseasonably warm. There are some good roads that would be great for bicycling. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is great as stated in previous post, but it should be noted that only about 1/4 of the sites have electric. Very quiet here at the base of the Sacremento mountains with lots of hummingbirds, Javelina's and of course you must accept the tarantulas and rattlers too, after all this is the desert. Great hike, (strenuous) right out of the campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Incredible beauty, look one way and you are at the foot of the Sacramento Mountains. Turn around in your site and you are looking at the Tularosa Basin and the desert with the White Sands national Monument in the distance. All sites have tables, some with large well contructed shelters. Lots of wildlife. We camped here in a camper.

We diverted to this park after not being able to get a site at the nearby State Park. This is a community of snow birders, permanent residents, and includes avenues of mobile homes. It all seems to work really well. The office staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a number of computers in the lounge area and unfortunately this is the only place that wi-fi is available. There is cable TV available, and if you don't have a cable they are available from the office for a $25 refundable deposit. Sites are large (gravel), all have a picnic table - only draw back is the positioning of the hook ups. They are right down the back of the site , so you either need to make sure you back right up or have an extended sewer and water hose. Residents and snow birders are very welcoming, Walmart is a block away, and there are 2 hairdressing salons on site. The laundry is the biggest I have ever seen, very reasonably priced as well. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The park was well laid-out and convenient - could walk to WalMart for supplies. The showers were clean and modern, but the key system to get in was very cumbersome; had to unlock the swimming pool gate and then the shower room door. Even needed the key to unlock the gate to get out. The worst problem was the Wi-Fi which was advertized as available but actually only if paid and with an unreliable provider. We camped here in a Motorhome.

90% of this park are full time mobile homes. The good part of this park is it is right next to a Wal-Mart and other places in town. The pool was closed and you had to pay big time for Wi-Fi (that is so last decade for a private park). The sites are close together but there is a privacy wall between them. Sewer hook-up was so far away I had to back up in the morning before I could dump. Would have stayed at the State Park but it was closed due to the fires. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The 50 amp service side of this park had no pavement, no trees, and was very narrow. The 30 amp side had all. Was ok for one night but it really had nothing to offer other than services. Would try another spot next time. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I gave this campground a 5 because of the problem we had with using Passport America. They are listed as an active RV park and the rate should have been $15. The desk attendant said they did not accept PA. After checking in, called PA. Told they should have charged $15, not $28. Would not change rate. Talked to PA again and received a return call the next day that they had been pulled from PA. No management available on site or at corporate office in CA. PA could not reach anyone either. I consider this fraud and do no approve of a business doing this. Park was clean, sites were narrow, utilities OK. This is a very large mobile home park with a community room and a pool. Just do not expect to use Passport America. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for a month and am not sure what the nightly rate is. We took a monthly rate of 220 plus metered electric. Had what we needed and the price was hard to beat. Major downside was the Wi-Fi which was available to purchase through a company a rv park wifi provider. We had a terrible experience getting a decent signal, getting thrown out and needing to reconnect etc. The park staff were very apologetic, but didn't control how the company poorly dealt with it. We are still in dispute with our credit card company over paying the Wi-Fi company. But again, I don't attribute this to the park or their staff. This park is a number of RV sites in the rear of a trailer park, a lot of the RV's stay for multiple months. With that being said, every one was very friendly and not the clique, uncomfortable situation you sometimes feel in the snowbird parks in Arizona. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We chose a back in site as we have three slides and the pull throughs are really small for a 40ft Fifth wheel. The young lady that was working the office was very helpful and assisted us with finding a good site. We were in the back, 700 section and wasn't really bothered by trains, or the traffic. This park is split into two sections. One is for mobile homes and the other is for RVs. The smaller RVs have some shade trees. The large spaces with 50 amp, water, sewer and cable are wide open with level, gravel sites. We like the no-trees aspects. Although it is hotter, it allows us to use our TV & Internet Satellite system. The roads are wide and easy to navigate in a big rig. I believe all of the big rig sites are back-ins. That is okay with us. Although we did not use any of the amenities (pool, exercise room, lounge area, laundry, etc.) they seemed well maintained and clean. We would stay here again if we were in this area of the country. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Not pretty but functional. Has 3 fenced doggie areas, only 1 shower for each men & women but very clean-strange set up though, paved, level sites, picnic tables, in town within walking distance of SuperWalMart and a variety of fast food places, all services at rear of site, some sites tight with 3 slides but we fit, good southern view for satellite. This is mostly a modular home park but has quite a few RV sites. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
