The park looks inviting from the road but, the trains run all hours of the day and night with horns blasting at every crossing making it tuff to get any sleep. Nice looking indoor pool that we didn't use. Clean, level gravel sites. $18.00 including tax. Tired from driving it looked too good to be true. If you are not hearing impaired be warned to keep going. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Had a good overnight stay. Can see a lot of work and care has gone into this place. Huge activity building and super clean laundry and bathrooms. Our only complaint - we took a spot close to the main building, specifically so we could use the internet, but the Tengo system was all but useless. It kept dropping off and when it did work was slower than dial up. Seems like if you advertise internet, it should work ! We camped here in a Motorhome.

The entire RV park is gravel - roads, sites, beds, parking, etc. This was my first trip to New Mexico and I've never seen this, but it actually works well for the environment. It makes negotiating a large RV with tow vehicle very easy, and kept everything very clean. We had planned on just an overnight here, but stayed for 3 nights. We liked this park and got used to the frequent train noises - not too bad. The rest rooms were immaculate and well maintained. Each shower stall has a bench, multiple hooks and towel bar - what every shower should have! Laundry facilities were in great shape. Really enjoyed all the articles on the walls about local history, sites to see, and events in the area. There is an indoor, heated pool which was again, in great shape and well maintained. Areas to walk in the back are large and still fenced. I really appreciated the great job done by cleaning and maintenance people! We camped here in a Motorhome.

The was an overnight stay for us. The park was all gravel but easy to get into with OK space between sites. There was a picnic table at the site. The people are nice and helpful. Close to the freeway for easy on and off. The road noise was not a problem but the train noise was more than the highway noise. We would stay again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park worked fine for me as a one-night stopover. Large, level, gravel sites. Park was largely empty, so was very quiet. Wi-Fi worked fine. For a park that caters to over-55 campers, I was amused to find so many reminder signs everywhere, as if the park was actually catering to small children. Would stop here again if in the area. Really nice, spacious park. Fairly large sites with huge roads. The facilities are also huge. Lots of toilets, showers, big laundry, activity area etc. Credit cards not accepted and no cable TV. Very nice heated indoor pool. The one downside is Tengo Wi-Fi which is virtually useless. Some train and highway noise but acceptable. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Past reviews were correct, this is a nice level place to stay. But they did not mention how close I-10 and the railroad were. Rather strange way to enter off the highway. The pet area is off to the side in some cactus. We only stayed one night and the next morning it was cold and windy so we hurried to unhook and go. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Had decided heading west that we would skip a park that had gotten so out-of-hand in pricing and found this one in Deming. Great level sites with space between. The staff spaced RV's as they came in. The price reflects the weekly rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Found all the other comments were accurate, however there were two things missed. To the positive, they have an absolutely gorgeous indoor heated swimming pool. To the negative, no one seemed to mention the nearby train tracks that had trains running all night, as well as it's close proximity to I-10. Lastly, found the staff very friendly. Nice enough place overnight. They have an indoor pool which we appreciated. There is some nice landscaping, but the area around the office has gotten pretty junky. The noise from the trains was very noticeable. They don't have a website and the office folks weren't the friendliest around. Still, it's convenient and we'd probably stop here again. Great overnight park along I-10. We enjoyed the easy access from I-10, the friendly staff who checked us in and the clean park and sites. Easy to navigate around the park with the motorhome and the sites were level. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I agree with the other reviews here. This place is very nice and well kept. The staff was very friendly. I would have given this place a 10 if it wasn't all gravel, but we leveled fine. The indoor pool was great and they had lots of washers and dryers. The place was immaculate. We used their WiFi which was very fast, but we also tried our Verizon broadband card and had great reception. We would camp here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have spent many overnights here on our way to and from Yuma, Arizona. This is an outstanding park. Can't believe they have such a small rate. It just went up from $25 which it was for years. It is an adult park and every aspect of it is well maintained. Has a nice big place to exercise a dog. Spaces are large, level and easy to access. Owners are some of the friendliest and helpful we have run into. I highly recommend this park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The park has an indoor pool. Although the park was gravel covered, all sites were level. The grounds were well groomed with desert plants. The water, sewer and electric outlets were well placed. The shower/toilet areas were well maintained and beautiful. We have recommended this park to our friends traveling through New Mexico. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Beware: don't stay at this facility for any reason. Better to stay at Wal-Mart! The owners and their children are not good people. This is more like a commune than a resort. Bathrooms and showers were filthy. This place is so pathetic it turned my stomach. We stayed for 4 hours and left. Would not recommend this park to anyone, not even my worst enemy. We stopped to see if we would like to stay here. Park was half full at best in February. Spaces were a decent size and park is nicely maintained. Has two ex-cop cars just before you go into the park. The lady at the desk was very nice. The man was gruff and not happy that we have Harleys in our Toy-hauler. Since phone was available we might have been able to get DSL, but with no cable TV we decided not to stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Large, level pull-thrus for our motor home and tow vehicle - no problem. We made a reservation but it did not appear necessary. Good stop for an overnighter if you can sleep through the trains. Dogs are allowed but the designated dog walk is full of stickers. Dogs appear to be an after-thought at many RV parks, in our opinion. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Just off I-10 at Exit 81, it was a very nice camping facility with some superior amenities, such as an indoor pool and spa. The graveled campsites were spacious and well-maintained. No major discounts were offered, but their daily rate was considered reasonable. A minor accident at our campsite resulting in a broken water pipe raised the ire of the camp host. We were presented with a $25 repair bill, ordered to pay up and leave the camp. Campers should be cautious when dealing with the camp host and his staff under other than ordinary circumstances. In our case, they were rude, abrasive, and inhospitable in response to what amounted to an unfortunate accident. As a result of our experience at 81 Palms, we do not intend to return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park is an over 55 location. Very clean. Large gravel pull-thru sites. Very nice pool, spa, & game room. Laundry is spotless & has 10 washers & 6 dryers. Park is located next to I-10. A rr track runs above the interstate. The park has a wall on the north side & we found it to dampen the noise--it was quiet to sleep. The host was friendly & helpful. We will stop again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Just stopped for the night. Chose it because they have a hot tub, unfortunately, after arriving several others in the area also have hot tubs. All the RV parks in the area are gravel lots, little landscaping, but at least this one has decent cable. Might use it again if in the area, or might try one of the other's depending on our needs. Pulled in just for the night, and the office staff was very friendly and helpful. We were looking for some ice, and they went and got us some from their fridge. So nice of them. This park is great for all our needs. Motorhome died on way to site after check in they used a small tractor to tow us to a site so we could hook up. Noise other posters have mentioned is there but barely noticed it. Very friendly people. Wi-Fi worked great. No trees but that not important to us. Rate was using Good Sam. This park is adequate at best. It is a gravel lot with hookups, minimal landscaping, road noise and train noise. Hookups work well and water pressure is fine. There is free cable which we did not use because we have satellite. Don't know what the story is with Wi-Fi since we use our air card. Here for a group camp out but would not stay here again. It is average at best: basically a gravel lot with hookups. The website indicated that the pool was being remodeled but, when looking at it, they've filled it with old tires. Doesn't look like it's being worked on. The hot tub was supposed to be available from 3pm - 6pm. We went to use it at 5pm (since we had just arrived). The man in the office said, "Well, it will take about an hour to warm up: you should have told me when you checked in that you wanted to use it." Like it was our fault. We can not recommend this one. This park is marginal at the best. Other parks in the area are much better so research before committing to a park in Deming. Some long term, but they kept to themselves, and contrary to other reviews, the interstate and railroad noises were very noticable here. It is basically a gravel wide spot in the road with lots of weeds, dog droppings, and in general in need of some major clean-up. Office staff was very friendly, and recommended a nice steak house that we went to, but it was in the middle of nowhere about 15 miles from town and it looked like a converted barn or warehouse with no indication that it was even in business as a place to eat. We would not stay here again. The rate was for Good Sam. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a nice place to spend some quiet time, the staff was very nice and accommodating. The internet worked fine. The staff was well versed on the local weather. We were warned to get into our site and hooked up quickly as it was going to rain. We were allowed to hook up and the rains did come. Our 50 amp power was strong and solid, WI-FI worked fine, and our site on gravel was as level as we needed. It is not a destination park, but it was fine for a one night stop over. We stayed at this campground only one night. It would not be my pick for a long stay, but it is sufficient for one night. The only major problem I encountered was that their free Wi-Fi does not work well with windows user’s computers. I entered the correct security key, but after connecting to their network I was never able to get an internet connection. I don’t think they need to advertise Wi-Fi if they can’t properly support it. One good thing is that there was a Wal-Mart and K-mart store very close to the campgrounds. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The showers are OK, but despite claims of Wi-Fi, we couldn't get on line and we were parked close to office. The manager was of no help. He told us "he was an Apple guy". We stayed overnight because there is only one row that is big enough with cable & 50 amp. The main part of the park is much older, and for our truck and 40' 5th wheel the only space we could have gotten into easily was taken (by another 40' 5th wheel). The other spaces in the main part of the park are tight and narrow. Staff was very nice. Deming is a flat spot in New Mexico with wind and therefore dust. We ride motorcycles and game so really want DSL or HSI where we camp. This park would be ok if your rig is under 33' and 30 amp. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed in this campground for one month (January). It has an enclosed and covered pool but the water temperature was less than 75F. All safety equipment (hook, rings etc.) are fastened to the wall too high for a typical rescuer to reach. The spa is locked in a separate building and only available on request between 3 and 5:30 PM. There were no scheduled activities during our stay that we are aware of. The Internet is available through a dial up computer in the office. I have carried an IBM compatable laptop for 2 years so feel familiar with Internet access but found their Mac, with an ancient (sticky) keyboard, hard to operate. Took me 1/2 hour to do what I can do in 5 mins on my own. When I pulled out the keyboard slide to lower the keyboard to typing height, next day it was screwed down so I couldn't move it. When filling our 7 gallon propane tank we were charged for 7 1/2 gallons (impossible) $5.50 more for the tanks than by filling it ourselves. Dogs are permitted with a small area for their business. No space outside the park immediately available for walking other than the sidewalk. There are 4 RV parks side by side with chain link fence separation. One park next door had WiFi but generally it is not readily available in Deming except in hotels. One coffee shop said they had WiFi. Tried there 3 times but not wotking either time. Small children called the park home. The owners had grandchildren there too. All gravel pads and roads. Laundry was cheap. $1 per wash and 2 loads fit in the large dryer for $.50 We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is quiet, with gravel sites & roads, some mature trees. Restrooms, showers, & laundry are older but clean, staff was friendly. Indoor pool & hot tub; small play ground & dog walk area. Modem available, but didn't use it. Pull-thru sites at the front of the park are narrow, but level & okay for overnight. Some rutted areas in the larger 50 amp sites, which might be a problem if raining. Decent overnight park, but unsightly tent area leaves a bad impression. Obvious long term set-up's with assorted make-shift additions & wooden structures, a school bus, and even a cardboard enclosed horse trailer equipped with a satellite dish. There are other RV parks in Deming, we will try another next time. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

A really nice RV park, with good people running it. As mentioned above, not a scenic
park, but landscaping is decent and the facilities are very good. The pool and hot tub are indoors and very clean. While the park is family-friendly, there is no playground. Security is tight there, but well-intentioned. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The sign says Starlight but it is now called Desert Vista RV Resort and is under new management. The motel and cafe are closed but the new restrooms and game room are nice. All sites are long pull through with full H/U including 50 amp. It's far enough from I-10 so there is no road noise. Mainly just a big open lot and good for overnight stays. Stayed 3 nights. We were in the back in site #3. Mega big rig pull thru sites, 40 by 80 ft. Lots of room to get in and out of the sites and around the campground. 5 channels on the antenna for TV. Can wash your RV at the site. Nice pool table. Excellent cell phone reception with Verizon. Complaints. Pea gravel. Train horn noise. Lots of yappy dogs. Roosters crowing at 6 AM to most of the day. We stayed here Christmas Eve and they were having a finger food potluck for everyone in
the park. We were welcomed with open arms and enjoyed visiting with snow birds from all over. This park also has apartments for snowbirds and is a small motel plus a cafe. The food, service and price were fine. We stayed out front and the sites are very long, level, gravel and wide. Plenty of room for big rigs to get around and for slides. Park is a few miles outside of Deming on the Hatch highway and little or no road noise in the front, probably non at the rear. Also no train noise.
Stopped here on our way back thru 10 days later and still quiet and friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Easy on off freeway. Easy parking, friendly staff, shopping close by with car. Basically a gravel lot with hookups. Good for a night passing through. Probably the most noise we have experienced in a park so far between the freeway and the railroad, but certainly doable. But if passing through we would stay here again. We were looking for an over night and this one was right off the interstate 1 block: easy access. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and informative of the area, including probably one of the safest border crossings 30 miles south. This is a big gravel lot but it worked for an overnighter. An Escapees park but you don't have to have the membership. No WiFi except in the building. We did drive around and saw the other RV parks on Pine Street and we made the right choice! We were in a 40' rig and would stop again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

For Escapees members this was a very nice park. This was only an overnight stop. Access was easy into the park off of Interstate 10. The staff were very friendly. The sites were large and level. The interstate and railroad were close, but not annoying or loud. The clubhouse and library were both large. Deming had many shopping areas and restaurants. If you are there during a Saturday morning, enjoy the breakfast at the clubhouse. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Generally good park. It was so hot (107F) and the shore power was perfect to run our AC. Easy access, but park entrance is easy to overlook. Quiet locally, but light sleepers will have a problem with the very near railroad. Deming moves a lot of heavy rail freight and all night long you will hear, and sometimes even feel, the rumble of freight trains. I didn't see any shade; but hey, it's New Mexico. My wife used the showers; came back happy & clean, so I guess they are OK. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very friendly park. My parents live here full time so we were visiting with them, but met so many nice people! You have to pay for your own internet and I had problems staying connected with Tengonet. I wrote Tengonet and heard back saying they needed some more information (which I gave them) and have heard nothing back yet. Dog run is very nice. My dogs could not "escape" but some people don't bother to pick up after their dogs (even after reading the signs and seeing a waste scooper there), which we found disgusting. Price reflects Escapee membership; however, it does not include electrical usage and taxes. Park is a large graveled expanse with hookups and is suited well for an overnight stop. Wi-Fi is included in the rate; however, it seemed extremely slow. So I opted to use my Verizon service which worked very well. There is a nice dog run near the office offering Fido shade, grass, and cleanup implements. Access was easy from the highway and check in was a breeze with excellent hosts. We planned on staying one night only but stayed for 13 nights. We were made very welcome by everyone and enjoyed the Thursday night dinners, Saturdays morning breakfasts, craft sessions and ice cream social on Sundays. We have two young kids and they were made to feel welcome, too. Laundry was huge, sites were good, and the park was very quiet (apart from the train at night but we got used to it). Lots to see in Deming including the State parks and the Gila Cliff Dwellings are worth the drive. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Needed an overnight stop on our way from Texas to Arizona. Whole park is gravel with mostly pull through sites and is just off of I-10. No traffic noise, and sites are roomy with hookups conveniently located. Close to food and fuel. Host couple met us when we arrived after hours to help us register which was very nice. Dream Catcher ( an Escapee park ) was not where the GPS said it was located. If using your GPS plug in Holiday Inn or Motel 6 or find Exit 85 off of I-10. Dream Catcher is directly beside the Holiday Inn. As for the park, they meter the electricity at 11.6 per kWh or a flat $3.00 per night if you come in before 3PM or $2.00 after 3PM. The park hosts were quite helpful. and the sites are in the open ( no trees to block our rooftop satellite dish ) with hard gravel so we didn’t need to put our leveling plates down. There are restaurants aplenty in Deming and the Holiday Inn next to the park does have a restaurant which we opted not to use. Our price reflects the Escapee cost plus tax and $3.00 electric. Their wi-fi is Tengonet – something that we prefer not to use for both it’s price and poor connectivity. They do have good bath facilities and 4 washers and 6 dryers at 1.00 per cycle in the laundry. Highway & train noise was non existent. If in the area, we would use this as strictly a one night stopover. One night people get pull-through sites if they are not all taken. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Easy on/off to I-10. Pull thru site accommodated RV + trailered vehicle (approx 53' total) quite nicely with room to park vehicle at side of RV. Sites are level & spacious with shade trees. Rained a lot while we were there but we did not encounter any large, long-lasting puddles. Restrooms/showers large and absolutely spotless. Big, well-kept dog run with frisbees, balls, water dishes. Park is well maintained, has a good size library, craft and other guest activities in season, lots of info on local things to do, supplies an air compressor which was a nice surprise. No pool on-site but guests have use of Holiday Inn pool next door. Some reviews have mentioned traffic and train noise but that was so minor it's only noticeable for about 90 seconds. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about area and just plain glad to have you as a guest. Stayed 2 nights and will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We found this Escapee RV Park excellent for an safe overnight stay. The sites are primarily just gravel and the access roads are gravel. The first two rows, pull-through sites and near the clubhouse, have shade trees. Our site, almost level, had a couple of trees, which was a good thing on a hot day. The backside of the RV Park is surrounded by open land and offers a good view of the Florida Mountains. The clubhouse has a good size library. The staff provides great service as expected for an Escapee park. The traffic noise from I-10 can be heard and it did not bother us. Passing trains do not have any nearby crossings so they did not bother us. The only negative is the outside music being played by the Holiday Inn, which is adjacent to the RV Park. I suppose it's played to keep unwanted roamers away and it can be heard at times in the RV Park. We will stay again when needing a place in the Deming area for one night. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Gravel parking lot convenient to I-10 very friendly staff and clean office building. Modem hook up available in office. Rate is Escapee rate including our hydro cost of 2 dollars a day. Nice park! Great breakfast served on Saturdays for 3.50. Friendly staff, totally gravel park, so dusty in windy weather. Very easy to maneuver big rigs around in the park and to get situated. Rate is daily rate for FHU 50 amp pull thru site, not including tax or electric. Our electric cost was a little over $4 per day which included running an electric heater on the low setting at night. Big open gravel area with a few small trees. Sites are not well marked, but are spacious enough that it is no problem. With winds there will be dust. First time staying in an Escapees park. The park is a gravel parking lot with hookups. This worked for us for an overnight stop because the park was pretty empty. However, a big rig with trailer would not really fit in their pull-through spots due to length. They have dry camping along the exit road which would accommodate any length rig. This is the friendliest park we have stayed at. We got invited to a bluegrass jam and we sang and played with the group for about 3 hours. The park itself is a typical desert RV park. This is a nice place to overnight. Our spot was level and pleasant with minimal landscaping, but what do you expect in the Chihuahua desert? The park had one of the largest swap libraries we’ve seen in all our travels. The clubhouse was excellent, with lots of activities, and the bathrooms and showers were meticulously clean. The staff members here were very nice, but some of the long-term folks sure were picky. One resident scolded my daughter when she started doing a puzzle on a table in the clubhouse (which was mostly unoccupied at the time), because she wasn’t using the correct “puzzle table.” Of course, none of the tables were labeled, and the “puzzle table” turned out to be full. We paid the SKP rate of $12.50/night. Electricity is separate, so I added our electrical costs to the overall price per night. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We've stayed here 3 times now. Easy access from I-10, with large pull through gravel sites without any trees or shrubs. No problems at all getting satellite systems on the RV's roof to work. Joined the park's Thanksgiving dinner, had a great time. Electricity is extra @ about 10¢ a KWH. We have stayed here many times. It is an Escapee membership park. The rate is $12 plus electric for members and $18 plus electric for non-members. We paid $5 plus tax for boon docking only. We spent a very pleasant week here. The park was about 80% empty this time of year. We requested a site with our back to the afternoon sun, and were quickly and easily accommodated. Management was quite friendly, as were other park guests. We enjoyed the daily afternoon "social hour" a few times and the Sunday evening ice cream social. Our only "complaint" would be the lack of any WiFi options ...even pay WiFi is better than none! $12 is member nightly rate. They also have weekly & monthly rates. We stayed a week. With weekly rate of $65 plus electric, ($20.60 at .10 per KWH) our nightly cost was $13.59. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is an Escapees park - open to the public with some of the other usual Escapee amenities. Desert location, fairly remote on the far east side. They do not accept reservations. Friendly welcome, but the desk personnel seemed "worn out" simply tired of all the questions. They have discontinued the 3/1 discount for the dry camping area. Easy access from I-10. Disappointed to find they had discontinued WiFi because, "nobody used it". [It seemed that the average age of the campers was not of the WiFi generation - not a lot of computer use and/or interest in it.] No cable, but satellite signal was good and easy to obtain. We had intended to stay 4 nights, but with the lack of WiFi we changed our plans and only stayed there 1 night. The dirt & gravel sites were well spaced with some mature trees - not much other landscaping to speak of. Plenty of room for our 37’ 5th wheel and F350 Dually. Close to the highway and railroad, but surprisingly quiet. Some of the spaces are ownership sites and there are quite a few permanent and/or work-campers. Metered electric @ 10¢ per kwh. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an escapees campground, but you need not be a member to stay. We paid $17 because we are not members. Campground also has dry-camping available. Wi-Fi is available @$3. 00 for 24 hours. Very pleasant people and very reasonable price. We have stayed at CGs in Deming which cost twice as much --but were not as pleasant! Quiet and convenient to HWY 10. Located next to a Holiday Inn and CG guests may use the pool there. Restaurant is also available at the Holiday Inn, but we did not find the restaurant very good. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a small, friendly park, out of the way from the other parks on Pine St in downtown Deming. When we arrived the helpful, friendly camp hosts were waiting for us at the gate and escorted us to our spot. We were given a packet of info of the Deming area, a nice pen, and the password for the Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi worked wonderfully the entire time we stayed here. I work as an editor out of our RV so to have reliable internet access was very important. There was a nice picnic table at each site. At first I was disappointed that we were parked in the "short term" pull-through RV sites in the gravel area before the main campground and clubhouse. But I quickly discovered this area was just as nice as it could be with very friendly neighbors (permanent residents). The clubhouse was adequate with TV, videos, and a book exchange. Although we were just off the freeway we could barely hear the traffic or the trains just on the other side of the freeway. Other reviewers have mentioned the 2-1/2 miles of dirt road to get to the campsite. This can be avoided by driving to Deming and coming in from the west. By using this route you only have less than half a mile of dirt road and even on windy days it wasn't a problem. We did have a lot of wind while here, but that's to be expected in March and April. Several days it was so bad we stayed in the RV all day. The park is pet friendly and they let us use the exercise pen for our small dogs. We would be happy to stay here again if in the area. The price reflects a month stay as Passport America members. They also offer Escapee and Happy Camper discounts. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a small campground with a gravel area on the outskirts of the campground with several level pull-thru, FHU sites with 50 amp service. There was free Wi-Fi, but it was quite slow at times. This place is nothing fancy, but adequate. The bathroom was clean and the camp hosts were friendly. It was quite windy while we were there and very dusty. We would have given this campground a higher rating, but the 2 mile gravel road to get to it makes it lose points. Our truck and camper were filthy with dust by the time we got to the campground. The campground hosts were friendly and very helpful (even offered to come and get me if I had trouble finding the place). My only disappointment was that my requested pull-through site was in a gravel parking lot outside the gates of the "main" campground. We plan to spend the winter, and the monthly rent is $140. plus electric. Campground is clean, pleasant and very private. All the utilities work wonderfully. Campground hosts are very friendly and helpful. This pretty place is out of the way from I-10, about 11 miles east of Deming on a private road with no street lights for folks coming in after dark. Long term spaces are in a circle, inside a fence, with trees, near the clubhouse. The sites outside the circle are simply a graveled, rocky parking lot, although they are level. Electricity is metered at 12.5 cents per kwh. Wi-Fi is restricted, as the whole park is not allowed more than 350 MB/day, so they advise you to only check your email and not download anything. Our view out the front window is of I-10, and you DO get highway noise, despite host's claim to the contrary. I couldn't tell what color our motorhome was from the back, due to the dust on the 2-1/2 mile road here, but they do allow you to rinse the dust off. I wouldn't stay here again. This is an interesting place. Very nice people, clean gravel sites and a real bargain with passport. One negative is the road to the park. I would highly recommend you unhook your tow vehicle before going down that road and crawl in. 5th wheels stay a lot cleaner on that trip and they will let you rinse off your rig when you arrive. There is a cattle operation and cattle roam that area and where there are cattle there are flies. We probably won't stay again says the co-pilot but it wasn't a bad experience. We camped here on Passport America and found it to be an excellent campground for the price. The sites are spacious, the management is friendly and helpful. It's a little bit off the beaten track (12 miles from the eastbound exit I-10, 2 miles from westbound exit I-10) but well worth the trip. You have to go over a dirt road for 2.5 miles but it's pretty smooth. Some snowbirds here. If you're looking for a long term quiet campground or a short 2 or 3 night stay, this is definitely recommended. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is in the middle of the desert with excellent views of area mountains and beautiful sunsets. The original 18 sites are fenced in, but the owner has added an additional 16 sites in a large gravel lot outside the fenced area. Most of these sites are very large pull-thrus. This area is currently not landscaped since it is new. I like the new area because of the feeling of camping in the desert. You can see for miles in all directions. I10 is about a half-mile away and in plain site, but there is rarely any noise from the highway. The one downside is that the campground is unprotected from the high winds during Spring. We have experienced wind gusts up to 50 mph this month. However, we would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects PA rate. $89/wk plus electricity. WiFi works well. Tailgator works well. Laundry room clean and not too expensive ($1.25 to wash, same to dry). Sites are okay, but ours is none too level. All gravel and dirt so when the wind blows there is a dust factor. And the wind does blow. Permanents are very friendly and welcoming as are the actual owners of the ranch/park. Some activities - bingo and pot lucks to name a few. Good areas for our dog to roam free. Overall rating reflects the distance from town as well as the gravel and dust (a good ten miles, 7 of that gravel). Those were the only negatives we came up with. Rate reflects Passport America, but even without it, the weekly rate is only $100. I am not a SW kind of person. I like green & lakes, but this place is close to paradise in the winter. Located in a valley with beautiful views of all the different surrounding peaks. Staff is wonderful, permanent residents are very friendly and welcoming. After only two days, we felt like a part of the RV park family. We were originally going to stay for a week and extended it to 2 weeks. Lots of open range trails for ATV's. I really love it here. Has neat gravel sites, but just a little too close for my liking. Full Hook Ups. Bathrooms are clean. The laundry is clean and spacious, with nice hand painted garden mural on walls. Park is very pet friendly. Park is surrounded by open range where you can let your dogs loose if you'd like. On leash in park. WiFi is available for $2./day. Connection isn't very good, but better than nothing. We could not get internet with our Verizon service. No Verizon internet. No Sprint internet. No bars on either the Verizon or AT&T phones. There is a book exchange in a large, library type room. All categorized. Mail delivery accepted We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

It is a fairly long drive on country roads into the campground, but after questioning our decision to go that far off the main road, we arrived and realized it was a good decision after all. We recommend just taking it easy on the road instead of kicking up a lot of rocks, and it's a little dusty but fine. The people there are amazingly friendly and helpful. The owner even came out to see if he could help with any hooking up issues that might occur. The sites are not completely level, but we were able to use levelers to get things level. I expect this summer they will work on these sites to level them out a bit. They only took over the campground in September, but it looks like they are working now to optimize things. The sites are nicely spaced out and you can get a site right on the desert and have a lovely view. The have a nice laundry, too. And a tennis court that is fenced and they allowed the dogs to run in there, chasing a ball. Everything here is tidy, clean and welcoming. It is really a great spot. My only reservation, and it is a small one. There is a large cross on the hill as you come in and signs announcing bible study classes. Everyone has a right to display their religious preferences as they wish, of course. But for those who have religious preferences other than Christianity or who have no religious preferences, it might be a bit of a put-off for some. Overall, this place is great and the people who staff it are extremely friendly and helpful. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

When we stayed at Hidden Valley Ranch three years ago, we loved the desert setting, but were not impressed with the cold, rude reception in the office. We decided to return anyway, and couldn't believe the difference! The new owners and office staff have made this one of the friendliest RV parks we've stayed in over the past several years! The owner came to our campsite to see if everything went well with our hook-up! The permanent and long-term residents are delighted with the new owners and management as well. Oh, my gosh, we love this park. We checked in at the Passport America rate for 3 days, and decided to stay for 2 months. The new owners are terrific, friendly, and very welcoming. There are lots of activities with a daily 3 p.m. coffee hour. If you have an ATV you will be in heaven because there are so many trails here in the desert. Quiet, adult park, with the most friendly staff and those that reside here. We were unsure when we originally came in as it is a 7 mile dirt road to get to the ranch. But, the place is beautiful and the desert and mountains have many trails to try. See the Indian petroglyphs, enjoy the sunsets, love the quiet. Their Wi-Fi is $2.00 a day at your site and works very well. Laundry room very clean and the restrooms and showers were immaculate. This is a perfect place to sit and relax. There are lots of places to visit in the area or you just sit outside and enjoy the desert life. This may just be our next winter destination. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

You will wonder whether you have made a good choice when you are on the 7 miles of gravel road in the middle of the desert to get here, but hang in as Hidden Valley Resort is well worth it. The owners are incredibly friendly and hospitable as are the other winter residents. We stayed a week at the Passport America rate, as there is no limit to the length of time you can stay on that rate, and there is no electricity metering over and above. There is a very well stocked lending library and DVD's can be rented for $1.00. The washrooms and laundry room are immaculate. The desert and mountain views are incredible with beautiful sunrises and starry starry nights. We don't have the winter to spend, but if we did this would be a wonderful place to spend it. We have been here for almost a week and just signed up for another week. We love the peace and quiet here along with the beautiful scenery. The owner is great and always there to help you if needed. He and his family live on the property so there is always someone around. There are planned activities that you can participate in or just sit out in your chair and enjoy the weather and the beautiful mountains and desert. Deming is about 10 miles away and there is a Walmart, K Mart, movie theater/bowling alley, auto parts stores, restaurants and more. To get here there is about 7 miles of dirt/gravel road but it is flat no holes. We hear the coyotes in the distance sometimes and we have seen quail and jack rabbits. It is a great place to just relax. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here three nights on Passport rate. Great place. ATV friendly. Mines, rocks, and trails. New owners are very friendly and helpful. Laundry room has 6 commercial Maytag washers and dryers. If you are looking for a winter stay, it would be an excellent place. Long pull throughs, all gravel. You have to travel down a well maintained gravel road about 7 miles, but it a pleasant surprise when you arrive at park. Very peaceful and quiet. Large recreation room with kitchen. We absolutely LOVE this RV park. The new owners are absolutely wonderful and their twin boys are the most polite and helpful young men I have ever met in my life (and that is a long life). The park is beautiful and very well maintained. The restrooms were very clean. Laundry facilities were great and the clubhouse was buzzing with activities. We would love to live here year around (and just might do it). There are miles and miles of ATV trails and rocks for the collectors. The stars are amazing and it is so peaceful and quite. I would give this park a 10 out of 10. There is a gravel road to go over to get there, but it is more than worth it when you get there. We were here last year and we liked it enough that we came back and plan to stay 3 months this time. I would give this place a 10 except I have to deduct some for the 7 miles of gravel road. It was good to see that 6 of the front row facing the mountains were the same ones in them last year. This is not an over night stop. This is one of those must do once campgrounds. We spent a week here and loved every minute of it! The Wi-Fi worked very well, only cut off for 1/2 an hour each day. The pull-throughs are a substantial size. Since the wind can be a problem at certain times of the day, it would be a bother to put out the awning. The clubhouse has a vast library of books, videos and DVDs. There are numerous things to do, bongo and game nights, puzzles, pool table and much more. The office is only open 10 to noon, but the clubhouse is open all the time. Nice laundry facilities, with option to hang clothes on their outside line, and they dried in no time. Full hook-ups all work fine. Metered electric. Originally pulled into #E-5, but there is a large cactus that hangs into the drive, we were unable to reach utilities and put the slide out, so moved to E-4. Facing the mountains and desert, it is a wonderful view. Roadrunners, jackrabbits and quail are abundant. The coyotes are plentiful at night, along with some other creatures I could not identify. The only downside to this park, is the 7 miles of dirt road into the ranch. We were only able to drive our motorhome about 10 miles per hour due to the washboard effect, and could not go to the side as it was very soft. The lady in the office admitted that the grader had done a poor job on the dirt road. As a conclusion, although we loved the ranch very much, I would not come back due to the road. This place defines remote which can be okay. I got tired of the dirt and dust, though. My toad on a dolly got filthy on the 7 miles of gravel road and we had dust inside the MH also. I got a very unlevel pull through site that was too narrow to use my awning once I parked to avoid the Joshua tree. The office staff is very friendly which was a good thing because the Wi-Fi is very iffy, off more than on. I had to get help from the staff which included getting access to their private network. I don't think I'll be back here again, too remote, too dusty, poor Wi-Fi, no table, no fire pit, narrow slot. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is about 12 miles from Deming,NM. It is in between some mountains and is considered the High Desert. The owners are very nice, and the people here are very friendly. There is always some kind of activity going on at the club house and even if you are new to the park, you are always invited to join in. The park is located at the end of a 7 mile gravel road. But you will be glad you traveled that 7 miles. The park, the owners, the other campers, and the scenery are well worth it. The amount I listed was for a monthly rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The pull-thrus were fairly level gravel and adequate width. We used our Direct TV dish. Wi-Fi was adequate. Our Sprint air card didn't work. Also our Sprint phones were iffy. The campground was on 8 miles of reasonable gravel road, but was very peaceful and quiet. The sky was great. Stars would have been great if not for outside lights of the other campers. Level sites, clean park and friendly manager. I appreciated the isolated location. It is located about 8 miles down a gravel road. Wildlife was refreshing to be seen in this truly hidden valley. If you plan to stay here, I recommend you be prepared to enjoy the park. Being 16 miles round-trip on a gravel road, you will be reluctant to go to town. Also, Deming isn't anything to visit. The park is a few minutes out of town, but I found that an advantage, as it was a quiet desert setting. The road was in great shape when we visited. It's a very social park, with lots going on in the clubhouse. In the 4 days I was here, there were club meetings, bingo nights, card nights, potlucks, etc. for guests. The grounds were clean, and staff was friendly. Although no store, you can purchase ice cream, soda and coffee in the clubhouse on the honor system. The internet reception is good, but limited to the clubhouse. You will need a dish, or can check out videos from a fairly large collection. One negative at my site was that I had to pick up a 90 degree hose connection converter to get water. The hookup was in ground and did not allow enough room to connect a hose. We stayed here on a road trip from Tucson to Denver one night. Since we only spent one very windy night here on our mad dash, I’ll only comment on the things I observed in that short time. First, be prepared to drive off the beaten path to get here. Had we known it was so far off of the road we probably would have chosen another park –again we just needed a place to land for a night. This needs to be a destination for you if you consider it, not just a quickie stop. The layout is all pull-through and very level. It seems a bit tight considering the size of the property. No fire rings, no tables and the sewer hookup for us (Class A) in the 30-amp space was a little odd (way far back in the space). Wi-Fi is only available in the rec hall and YOU GET NO CELL COVERAGE HERE. Beautiful quail and small birds everywhere. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I will stay at this park every time I'm in the Deming, New Mexico area. The staff and campers are very friendly. There is allot of wildlife that comes into the park. You won’t find a more peaceful and beautiful setting to camp, especially if you’re looking for a place to relax for lengthy period of time. Like the name implies, the campground is well off any highway, providing plenty of beautiful desert and mountain scenery to look at, walk in, or ATV in. However, there are some problems in this paradise setting that may keep us from returning. You have to travel over 6 miles on dirt roads to get there, and contrary to some other reviews, we found several sections of the road filled with severe washboards, which shook our 41ft motor home like crazy – no matter what speed we tried. Additionally, the trailing dust cloud we created left the coach completely covered, including much of the inside. Since we tow motorcycles instead of a car, we elected not to endure the road back out of camp to do any exploring and instead; did our exploring on foot. We had a great time exploring the desert terrain while doing a little geocaching. Our site had a beautiful view, but also had quite a down slope; requiring blocks to compensate for. For some strange rationale, the owner will not allow large RVs to use 30-amp service with a pig-tail connection. Instead, we had to take a 50-amp site, which is fine, but cost a little more and was not needed. The staff is very friendly but only available 9-12 Mon thru Sat – which was quite inconvenient at times. WIFI is available, but make sure you ask about the password when you check in, since the staff is hard to find if you decide to ask later. Never the less, if you have an ATV, jeep or car in tow, then this campground would provide one of the quietest, and most tranquil camping experiences you’ll ever find – especially for an extended stay. We stayed here from June 1 until July 29, 2009. This campground is approximately 7 miles down a very well maintained, dirt road. The area is peaceful and quiet. It has all the amenities you could need. The people who own and run the park are very nice and accommodating. Deming, New Mexico has several RV parks located in town. We are country folks and thankful we took the time to drive the few extra miles to Hidden Valley. We had a wonderful time here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects ROD price for 50 amp. Hidden Valley is an appropriate name for this park as it is at the end of 7 miles of a well maintained gravel road - very much in the middle of nowhere. But it is worth the trip. What a lovely, peaceful place. Very helpful and friendly staff. We were only able to stay one night but we are looking forward to a chance to return and stay longer. I'm not sure this would be my first choice if I had a lot of exploring planned or if I needed to be in Deming every day. It's a long dusty ride from the campground to "town". Price is PA discount. After about eight miles down a good dirt road, which was actually better than the beginning paved part, the appropriately named park appeared. Located in a very scenic desert (for southern NM). Good level sites. Only downside to me was the use of the many ATVs as transportation around the park by guests too lazy to walk. Campground is considerably north of Deming and most of access roads are unpaved. However the trip is worth it if you enjoy getting out in the boonies, away from noise. You won't find a swimming pool, store or other amenities here, but campground is well maintained and spaces are more than adequate in size. This could be good for an extended stay--rates are very reasonable. Management is friendly and helpful. Less than 30 minutes away from Wal-Mart Supercenter. What a gem! Well-maintained large gravel sites, connections all worked well, got signals on both dishes easily. Warm, friendly owner greeted us, pointed to the on-site petroglyphs, invited us to the evening pot-luck/card games. No cell phone signal at our site, but out in front of the office there was. Phone in office, too. Huge library: take one, leave one. Videos and DVDs to rent cheap. And the scenery is unequalled dramatic desert/mountain/wildlife. Propane on site, cheaper than in Deming. Great price with AOR. Yes, the approach road is gravel and a tad dusty. So what. If you like the desert, seclusion, quiet, breathtaking sunsets and moonrises, and nice folks, come here. The park was set up nice and the view was excellent with great sunsets. The price we paid was with Adventure Outdoor Resort. (AOR) The downside was the road. It was seven miles on a gravel washboard road. Our car had a bra on it that was filled with rocks, and we got dings all over the front of the car. The car itself had 1/4 to 1/2 inches of dirt all over it. The windshield, hood, roof and you name it. The back of the motorhome was the same and my husband's bike on the back looked like a blob, you couldn't tell what it was. We have never encountered anything like this. Needless to say, my husband was very upset, and we weren't allowed to wash down vehicles. I would never go back there because of the road. If they ever tar it, then I would return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This place has sites with 30 Amp electric which flucuates from 108 to 112 but never reached 120 volts while we were there. It is located one block from the Interstate and two blocks from the Railroad Tracks. Traffic noise and train noise was very loud, all night long. We would not stop here again. We stayed here for an overnight and found it very clean and quiet. With Passport it only costs $7. McDonalds and Taco Bell a stone's throw away and not far off the interstate. We got a pull-thru and we fit fine but our neighbors are VERY close. It's tight and close quarters but very doable. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, including their pet kitty who greets everyone. We would stay here again for an overnight and recommend it as a very good overnighter park. We were on our way to Arizona when our transmission went out of the truck. We chose a site along the fence with water and electric only for one night at $12. When our truck was destroyed by fire after the transmission was replaced we were given a pull through site. We were there for 3 weeks having to find another truck and get the hitch transferred to the new truck. The managers adjusted our rate to the monthly rate. They were extremely friendly and helpful in sugesting places to see and shop. They told us about Cano's Restaurant where they serve some of the best food we ever ate and a desert called banana in a blanket that is to die for! We will definitely stay there again. This park is a dirt lot. Gravel and a few trees. Very few trees. If you are overnight in Deming, pick the least expensive, they all look the same. The railroad runs all night long and you will have that effect in all of the campgrounds because most of them are close to each other. As we were leaving we passed a K-Mart and they had some motorhomes in their lot. That would be less dirt and less money. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here one weekday night in mid-October. This is a fairly large park with mostly pull-through sites. About 1/3 of the sites are 50 amp (most of these are in the back 2 pull-through rows) and the rest are 30 amp. There park was less than half full when we were there. There appear to be some early seasonal/extended stay customers and about 20 yearly rental sites. We had a full hookup site in the back half of the park with 50+ channel cable TV and Wi-Fi that worked OK for us. Our site was also satellite friendly as are most of the sites in the back. The front half of the park has some trees. There is an indoor pool and hot tub between the office and clubhouse. The back section has it's own bathhouse and laundry (these facilities are also found in the office building at the front of the park). Yes, it is a large gravel parking lot, but it seems to be well run, has good facilities and amenities, and the price is reasonable. Lots of shopping and places to eat are just are a mile to the west. Counting Little Vineyard, there are 4 RV parks in a row on this stretch of E. Pine Street in Deming. They all look somewhat alike from the street, but some looked a bit more crowded than here. I think we made the right choice with Little Vineyard. We camped here in a Motorhome.

By no stretch of the imagination is this park a "resort". Pluses - check in was easy and friendly, site flat & level, utilities worked, Wi-Fi adequate. In other words OK for an overnight. However - the few trees are in the front of the park, which is deceiving, when you head back to your 50 amp site in the back of the gravel parking lot, it looks a lot different, and sites are long, but narrow. Not their fault - trains very noisy, going through about hourly and through the night, also quite a bit of road noise from I-10. Baths & showers are clean but old. Much dog waste along the fence was not being picked up. Then to my favorite complaint: the Wi-Fi was slow to dead. We ended up using our Verizon Hot Spot again. Getting tired of paying for Wi-Fi and it not being useable. I wonder if I can get a $4 or $5 deduction from the bill when I check in if I promise not to use their Wi-Fi? Second time we've stayed here and we still like it better than the other parks nearby. At this time of year, it's not crowded so I can't address the electric problem posted by an earlier reviewer. We were here in December, too, and had no problem with the electric then either. Indoor pool and hot tub. Large easy-in, easy-out sites. Immaculate laundry ($1.00 per washer/dryer) and restrooms. Lots of good cable channels. Trains and interstate nearby but you don't really hear them. Plenty to see in the area and lots of geocaching. WalMart, K-Mart, Peppers, pharmacies, auto stores, etc. within 5 minutes' drive. Only thing missing is an RV repair/supply store. Great museum! And within easy drive to Rockhound and City of Rocks State Parks plus other sightseeing places. The only negative I can find about Little Vineyard is their Wi-Fi is not dependable. Oftentimes, it has dropped me in the middle of some important work. Maybe a few more repeaters or whatever they're called, especially along the back, would be helpful. Nightly rate based on month long stay. The park had working cable and good water pressure. Those were the only positives. When this park nears capacity, they have electrical issues. They insisted the problem was our rig, so we paid a repairman to come check it out. The repairman showed us that the problem was with the park, not our rig. He would have made more money if the problem had been our rig. We later found out this is a common problem in this park. We attempted to discuss this with the owner, but she flat out refused to take or return phone calls once she knew we were staying in the park. Very unprofessional. The park is old, and not well maintained. Everywhere they have signs threatening eviction, just a very negative atmosphere. Some of the employees were friendly, but they give the impression of working in a high stress environment. We will skip Deming entirely in the future. The park next door resembles a junk yard (the pool is still full of tires, dirt and tarps), nothing impressive in the area, except maybe the Walmart lot. When the wifi worked it was very slow. Considering the other parks in the area and the fact you are in New Mexico, this was a fine park. No grass, of course. Few trees. Large pull throughs so you did not have to unhook if you were just staying one night. We stayed here three nights due to NASCAR being Sunday. Nice enclosed pool. Cable was good and WiFi fast & free. Would definitely stay here again. Don't forget to visit the winery. We stayed here in a Bighorn fifth wheel. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice gravel RV Park with all large pull through lots. It is in town, but not close enough to the restaurants to walk to them. The manager was very nice and helpful and the park was quiet. This RV park has no charming features. It is OK for an overnight stop. Site #32 is next to a messy, wind-chimed site. Everything gravel and dusty. Cable TV was so-so, no digital channels, Wi-Fi was good. Staff at front desk was friendly and helpful. Local golf course is inexpensive, and you get what you pay for! We will probably not return. We only came here because it is a Good Sam park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a typical snowbird park. Lots of long term campers with a few overnighters coming in. Just a gravel parking lot with hook ups. Big enough though for our big rig. Just a stopping off place for us. Did not even check out the bath house or the laundry. Verizon aircard worked well. Very nice park, but it is a typical southwest desert park: i.e. gravel sites, no shade, windy, dusty. My pull through site was plenty long and wide, with no picnic table. Staff was friendly and efficient. Very nice indoor pool, and club house. Lots of activities if a long term stay. Had excellent cable TV reception as well as free Wi-Fi. Town is small and friendly with one foot in the grave. A winery close and worth a visit. Stayed here in February and the nights are cold. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 2 months on our way to the warm south. Hook ups were good. Indoor pool and hot tub was great. Lots of activities. Overall a really nice place to stay overnight or extended stay. We are staying for a couple of months at $275+electric: good location. We moved from Silver City (colder and 53 miles away) to Hwy I-10. Camped near office in B section away from trains and I-10 with a nice shade tree. Recommend Deming area over Silver City; gas is up to 20cents more a gallon and there is very little to do there. Visited Paloma across border and was advised by Sheriffs deputy not to cross with all the killings in the border towns. Gave 8 stars because of the gravel. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This a clean, no frills park with dirt/gravel pull-throughs which are level. Electric and water are good, and the park is great for a couple of days stay. We find this park nicer than the other parks next to it. The price reflects the Good Sam rate. Easy access to I-10 whichever direction you're traveling. Not much to Deming although they have a great Winery nearby (St. Clairs) and is only about 30 miles to Palomas, Mexico. Don't forget your passports if you decide to go there. We will definitely stay again when passing through the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

If you are just staying over night, it is Okay. It has easy access to the interstate. Gravel, dust: there is nothing that sets this place apart from others. In fact the residents tend to park their cars in the streets, therefore when leaving in the morning, you either need to let your neighbor or people across from you know, or be resigned to waking them up to move their car. There appeared to be some full time or long time residents. We did the latter, and he was grumpy, (not at 7 am but at 9am.) Our neighbor next to us was very pleasant though. This is one large dirt and gravel lot with sites well spaced out. The positives: plenty of room for slides, level, good free Wi-Fi and good cable TV. Downside items: dirt roads with some dust, freeway noise in the back where we were and trains just beyond the freeway so also some train noise. The noise level was not bad but was there. While we were there the hot tub and pool both had issues and were out of order for most of the visit. Staff was helpful, the park was clean and workers were doing upkeep and maintenance. This park is typical for the SW and I give it a 7 only because of the Wi-Fi and cable TV, both of which were excellent. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed in this campground because of previous reviews and the fact that they had cable and wireless internet. Both were excellent. The cable was clear with over 50 channels and the Wi-Fi was very responsive. The sites are level and will accommodate larger units and most are pull-throughs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is easily accessible from the interstate and is close to most shopping and restaurants. We ended up staying 4 days longer than we had expected due to the central location for many of the sites and activities in the area. Would recommend the park for overnight or extended stay. Still a good choice for an overnight stay in Deming. We have used it for that purpose numerous times over the last 5 years. Only complaint this time was I couldn't get the WiFi to connect and the staff at the office had no idea of how or what to do to help any. Good easy pull throughs for an overnight stay in Deming. If you have a chance check out Si Senor Mexican food restaurant. For basic fair it is the cleanest Mexican restaurant with the lowest prices I have seen. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I gave this place a poor rating because of several reasons. First, the people were rude, short with us on the phone and in person, and unhelpful. Also, I am choosing places to stay based on internet availability, as we travel across the country- that is how I am updating family and friends as to our whereabouts, and how I am paying bills, and keeping up with my life. So, when we talked on the phone and they asked if we wanted the access code for the internet, of course I said "yes, PLEASE!". we arrived after the office was closed, but they had included the code with the map. no mention was made that an Apple would not work with the code, but we could NOT get on with the code. fortunately there was ethernet in the clubhouse. however at 9pm, someone came and said "Time to go!" not "I'm sorry, we are closing at 9" or anything polite... just "time to go!" and... she even questioned whether or not I belonged in the park!!! Also, the dog walk area is a very small area along the chain link fence, all gravel. The entire place is gravel! Trees almost non-existent. Very noisy when people are walking, starting at 5:30 in the morning. Didn't get any sleep after that. And... there is noisy all night from the trains and the street traffic. So... no, would not stay here again, ever. Would not recommend. Would not even recommend this town. Would probably have stayed in Las Cruces, as I had first planned, had I known. especially at this overpriced rate for what we got! one good thing. the showers were clean, fiberglass insert, private. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Deming, NM is a quaint little (tiny) town where Little Vineyard RV Park is located on Business I-10. This park was busy (in and outs) and a bit noisy, but nice. All sites here are loose gravel, not much shade, but I did manage to find a site with a tree affording me shade in late afternoon. The laundry facilities are nice and clean and inexpensive, only $1.00 per load to wash and dry. They advertise free WiFi, but I was only able to connect one time. It didn't work 99% of the time. CATV worked perfectly! Staff was very friendly. Rates are reasonable. Using my Good Sam discount I paid $22.25 for one night. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Typical western campground with no trees. Lots of amenities. Had Passport America. The WiFi was free, but it was very windy (35-40 mph) and we could not get it most of the times as tower was shaking. People very nice. We stayed several days as we had been boondocking for a while. Don't miss the free musesum downtown. See the Gila Cliffdwellers national park fairly close by. I prorated and rounded up the cost based on our month-long stay. We found the staff friendly, the pool and spa clean, the entertainment good, our neighbors friendly, and the price reasonable. True, this is a huge gravel parking lot, but we had plenty of elbow room and found this an excellent location for our sightseeing. We had no problems with WiFi. It was pretty cold at night while we were here and there were some very windy day. We filled our propane tanks weekly and thankfully, the rate was very, very reasonable. Just like all the other Deming campgrounds, this is a gravel parking lot with services. It is really nothing special, but then neither are any of the others. This park has a good weekly rate, but the electricity is metered even for weekly service. The rate is 10 cents per kilowatt-hour. They also charge a 5% service fee on credit cards. The WiFi service is free, but not very good. Several of the nearby wireless access points are on the exact same channel (including both at this park) causing interference with each other. It would be a simple matter to select an unused channel to make the system much more usable. Are you listening, campground owner? We probably would not stay here again. Try one of the excellent New Mexico State Parks not very far away. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The campground is basically just a extremely large parking lot with gravel. While the sites are very level and the hookups were fine, the secured WiFi access was very poor. While we were there the advertised indoor pool and hot tub were closed for renovation. I got the feeling they were closed for a very long time. Access off of I-10 was very simple and there are plenty of places to get a bit to eat along the main road. We wouldn't stay here again unless we had to stop. We camped here in a Motorhome.

When we called to reserve a space, they said that WIFI was available. After checking in we find that it has been down for several weeks. This is a regular stop on our winter trip to Arizona. It is a very nice park, especially the indoor heated pool. The park is all gravel, very little grass. Rate reflects a Passport America discount. A little off the beaten path for a one night stop but it's worth it for the peace and quiet. Also, they don't have a gazillion lights to disturb your sleep. Parking is mostly side-by-side on gravel (the whole park is gravel), good 50-amp electric and so-so water pressure. This park is owned by Loners On Wheels. We will stay again. This is probably the best park in the area. It was quiet and clean. The sites are well spaced and marked. This park is a "Loners on Wheels" park and we were hesitant at first to come here (as we are married) but the other reviews were favorable so we chanced it. Nothing was said about not being single and we were welcomed. The man in the office was slow but nice. There is a small 'bark park' but I was given permission to play ball with my dog in the area adjacent to it. The wind blows and blows here. The nightly rate is very high in my opinion although it reflects a Good Sam 10% discount. We just overnighted here. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a clean gravel park. Sites were level. Nice space between sites, which were all pull-throughs. We spent one night in route to Arizona. The location is 4 miles off the interstate and away from the railroad tracks which is a common complaint of other parks in Deming. Would stay there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Less than 5 miles from I-10 in Deming, NM. There is very little shade. Bathrooms are very clean. Easy entry and exit with our 39 ft motorhome. Sites are level, and with good gravel coverage which keeps dust down in this arid, and often windy environment. Rate with Passport America is $16 / night + tax. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park was a pleasant surprise compared to others in Deming we have stayed at. Clean, large, and level gravel sites. Excellent antenna TV reception. Wi-fi was very good. Office staff was pleasant and stayed a little late to wait for our arrival. Definitely a good overnight stopover. South of town about 4 miles. Rate was for Passport America. Thought it a bit pricey in comparison with other facilities we've stopped at. It is a club type association "loners on wheels". The site given was level, with good utilities, albeit somewhat tight with a neighbor to one side. Because of the cost, we won't be choosing this campground again - there are others in the area more spacious for less money. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed one night on our way through, and enjoyed the easy access, good WiFi, and clean bath facilities. This is a simple, flat, gravel patch that does a very good job of providing easy accommodations for a short stay. Although we were not here long enough to interact with them, many signs suggest that there is probably also a vibrant community of long-termers. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here a few days to check-out the area. Check-in was very easy and friendly. The entrance is easy and plenty of parking. The sites are a little tight but very level. The hookups are properly placed and all worked well. All roads are dirt so expect dust. There is no cable, but we received several stations using our antenna. They have a one-time charge of $2 for Wi-Fi, but we had an excellent connection. We liked that the dog rules are enforced. The park is quiet, clean and well kept. Shopping is about a 3 mile trip. LoW-Hi is the home base for Loners on Wheels and is a very friendly RV park. We had great reception with our Verizon data and phone and did not opt for W-iFi. We used our TV antenna to get 12 very clear stations. We stayed for 5 days and on our first day we joined the weekly potluck and made many new friends. The sites are level and the area is very quiet. The bunkhouse is used as a exchange library, puzzle room, DVD and VCR tape exchange. The laundry is based on the honor system:use the washers and dryers and pay at the office later. There is also a table of used clothing for those who need some nice, clean clothes. Every Wednesday a group go to Palomas, Mexico for a day for shopping, lunch with free margaritas,and medical services or drug purchases at reduced Mexican rates. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Deming. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is well removed from the highway and train tracks, making it a quiet destination for sleeping. Our site was level and pretty good size. The restrooms were clean and the park was tidy. I was annoyed, however, that we paid $2.00 extra for WiFi, only to find that it didn't work at our site. The signal was so slow that I couldn't even send out an e-mail message. And the connection kept fading out. Very frustrating. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a really nice park. We were able to use our Passport America here, so the rate was only $15 a night, plus a "service charge" for the internet making our nightly fee $16.75. While it is designated as a "singles/loners" RV park we were welcomed and were comfortable here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a comfortable basic RV park with an interesting LOW history. The place has a comfortable, easy going nature and someone has taken the time to plant several cactus gardens which are interesting. This is on our "return to" list of parks. Might be fun to stay here for a week or so and use as a base camp to explore this end of New Mexico. We camped here in a Motorhome.

LoW-Hi RV Ranch is a nice, quiet RV park located 4 miles south of I-10. My husband and I stayed there two different times in a 2 week period. Everything was clean and in good condition. The sites are fairly narrow but are flat and graveled with some trees. There were quail and roadrunners outside our door. The location has great view of the Florida Mountains and is quiet. All the other RV parks we saw were right on the main road which is parallel to the highway. The $16 fee reflects the Passport Club price; normally it would have been $30. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice people at check-in although kind of slow. Unless you have something to do in this area it's way off the freeway. But for the rate it was worth the drive. Lovely park. Very clean and quiet. Fun Bark Park for the dog. Note: before you make the turn off the main road to O'Kelley, note the gas station on your left. It's prices were .30 less than closer to the highway. But if you leave the park the way they suggest (turning left out of the park) you'll miss that station. But if you don't need gas, their suggested route will take you further east on 10, which you might prefer. (We paid the Passport America rate.) We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is off the beaten path but a good site for an overnight stop. The park is all gravel with big rig friendly pull thrus. The park is very clean and well lit. The office was closed upon our arrival but the self check-in was a breeze. The park had a very nice walking path around the outer rim. The laundry room was very clean ($1.50 washer/dryer) and my wife fell over backwards because they had a clothes line behind the laundry room. She washed and hung the sheets out to dry. We had 4 or 5 TV channels using the antenna and our AT&T air card worked well. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A "Loners on Wheels" campground and a good PA stopover site. An interesting park and the owner have done a lot to make it as nice as possible with walking paths, gardens, dog park, and nice bath/shower facility. Very friendly people in a quiet location. Nice little park south of town. A bit far for exploring the area, but for the price well worth the drive. Great Verizon cell/data service. Must go see the Pancho Villa SP 25 miles south in Columbus, very, very interesting and informative!!!! What a pleasant park with great people. Don't waste your time out near the freeway. Take a little effort and try this park. You won't regret it. Nice little garden bench for reading or soaking up the views. Exceptionally clean bathrooms and showers. Spacious sites. No problem with cell phone signal and computer connectivity. We were here off season with Passport America. Very nice people and nice desert gardens. It is a little out of the way but close enough to town for Wal-Mart and dining out. We stayed in this park for one night. It's well maintained with nice sized pull-through gravel sites. Water/electric/sewer were all acceptable - 50 amp electric was provided free! Passport America rate plus tax. Good paved road to park about 4 miles from Deming. Park was clean and well maintained. Long gravel sites were long enough to park tow car in back or side of motorhome. This campground now has 50amp service at all sites. I understand they have recently updated the sewar system to include all sights. I found it very clean and the staff was very helpful and knowledgable about the surrounding area. Very quiet, no traffic or railroad noise. There is a nice pet park, a room for book exchange, puzzles, tv and playing cards. I would stay here again. Passport America rates are very good at 50% off. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Only there for an overnight. Please pickup your dog’s droppings every time. Do not leave them on the side of the grassy areas, in the back of your space, or even in the designated “Dog Walk” area. It is disgusting to come upon another dog’s “business” while walking my dog. The park has a leash regulation - use one on your dog at all times. Remember if we break the rules, parks will begin to deny pets as guests. Thanks! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is ok but avoid if they have had rain. Gravel, as they call it, sites. Very thin gravel and when it rains it becomes very very muddy fast. This is a loners park, one that is for singles traveling. Good price for Passport America but would try a different park if staying in the area again. They had a make shift sewer dump, very make shift. If you come in on Passport bet your getting a non sewer site, even though other sites will be open during your stay. Kind of cheap to have an ante up can in the bath for cleaning supplies if you ask me! Stayed 4 nights. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Passport America park. Didn't love this park,but didn't hate it. Large, level, open gravel parking area broken up by utility poles with plenty of room between rigs; easy access for our 30 ft class A. Electric was metered and signs in the bathroom/showers suggested additional $$ donation for the shower and cleaning supplies. The two showers available to serve the park seemed to be busy nearly all the time. Large laundry room also busy. Park was clean and there were numerous planned activities for the LOW (Loners On Wheels) group. We very much enjoyed day trips to Silver City and City of Rocks State Park as well as lunch at Caliche's (hot dogs and ice cream custard) while in the area. Not far from the Mexico border and the city of Palomas. For the Passport America price it is a very good deal but since there are several RV parks in Deming we might check out another one before returning to the LOW Hi. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is a special deal for just $14 with electric. The terraced placement of campsites at the base of these desert mountains gives a very nice view of both the mountains and the plains below. Our antenna worked well to receive local TV. We were cautioned to beware of rattlesnakes, but did not see any. We did see bunnies and hummingbirds. No 50 amp but 30 amp was good. Water pressure was on the low side. Sunset was awesome! We would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Despite being built on a hillside, the sites are easier to level than it appears at first glance. At night, there was a beautiful view of the lights of Deming. The campground itself was so dark that the city lights really pop out. There is a good visitor center with cactus garden and lots of trails to hike. AT&T data service was lousy. Sites are level, gravel, with picnic table covered. Situated at base of majestic mountains with trails and rocks to be collected. Windy at night, but that's expected. Great views from site of valley below. While here, a MUST see is Adobe Deli http://adobedeli.com/..a hidden gem of a spot, off the beaten track with great food and eclectic decor. Rockhound is a quiet campground, terraced sites and a great stopover enroute to Silver City area. This park was recommended to us by another couple who we had met on the road and have kept in touch with. They called us and told us that we just had to come to the Rockhound State Park. Most of the sites are on a first come basis, but there are a few that are reservable. We were certainly not disappointed! This place is magic. In the middle of the New Mexico desert sitting up on a plateau overlooking the valley and the township of Deming in the distance - beautiful at night! The sunsets are magnificent! The sites are huge all with a rubbish bin that is emptied each couple of days. Each site has a covered picnic table and seats on a concrete slab, a fire pit and a grill. There are plenty of walking trails; we did the Lovers Leap trail at Spring Canyon. The sign post says it is .5 of a mile. They lied! It is much farther than that but certainly worth the climb. Just make sure you take water with you as it is quite a distance! And, as this park is in the center of rockhound country; you are actually allowed to take up to 15 lbs of rock from the State Park with you when you leave! Great for rock enthusiasts and those just wanting a peaceful, easy to get to location! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here twice going to and from Tucson. First time we didn't have a reservation and got assigned a spot in overflow. We had water and electricity, but they squeezed 4 big rigs into 3 spaces and we used a "Y" to share water. No awnings. Next time we had a reservation and had a huge site. All the the sites are large, gravel, fairly level, and terraced on the base of a mountain. The views are almost always good. Restrooms were OK, but not immaculate. Just OK. Staff was friendly and helpful. Price was great! I think all sites have a shade structure, table and fire ring but no Wi-Fi. Only 5 sites can be reserved, so get here early if you don't have a reservation. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We used this state park for a overnight. It turned out to be about 15 miles off the interstate, but was worth the drive. We didn't have reservations and was placed in one of the four overflow sites. The sites still had water/electrical hookups, but was gravel. The park sits at the base of a local mountain range known for the rocks (hence the name) and the sunsets are beautiful. Would return, but only during the spring months as it would get hot here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We love this park and try to stay at it whenever we are passing through. It has beautiful views of the desert, big sites, and great places to hike. If you are a rock hound you can actually take up to 45 pounds of rocks home with you. I'm not a rock hound so can't say much about it, but evidently there are many different kinds of rock that people want. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is the most peaceful and calm I have ever stayed in. We made reservations on-line in advance to assure space. We found no ranger station in which to check in - only a drop box for those entering the park after hours. We located a volunteer park host who met us at the entrance and kindly guided us to our reserved site. The sites are spread out and you are not on top of your neighbors. I noted mostly adults in this park, a few kids. Rock hunting was fantastic fun and we found many varieties of things. The hiking is hot and straight uphill. If you are rock hounding, make sure you pack plenty of water, snacks, and tools. We chose to come when it was spring due to heat. I think if you go in the summer, it would be extremely hot and you would be exposed as there are few wind breaks. The bathrooms were clean and were just fine for showering. There was no playground we could find and if you have kids, you need to instruct them on the cactus, yucca, and other things that can stick, poke, or bite them. Also, amazing star gazing at night so bring a star map or something to view constellations. Overall, we hope to come here again for a longer stay. It was a really cheap, quiet, and well kept. A nice park away from the main roads. Right against the mountains with trails for rock collecting. You are allowed 15 pounds of rock per day to take away. Beautiful view out over the valley below. Another popular state park where reservations are suggested. We got the last spot in the group area w/ water and 30 amp power. People coming in behind us had only dry camping available. Excellent assistance from park host finding a spot and getting situated. Neighbors had difficulty with electricity and maintenance was there and checking out the problem in just a few minutes. A great find in the middle of the desert not far from I-10. We arrived at 2 pm but still camped in the over flow which did have water and electricity. Others parked in the over flow got sites in the morning but I would make reservations. At the foot of the mountain with great short hikes and rock hounding in the area. New Mexico has excellent parks! This one is way off the beaten path, but beautiful views make it worth while. The park is terraced into a hill with a spectacular view from every site. Pull through site was long enough for the largest RV, but it wasn't level so we had to unhook anyway. For the price, it was a bargain. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We had planned to stay one night, but after arriving, and seeing the wonderful vista, we stayed three nights. Would have stayed longer if possible. Nestled beside the mountains, the campground is raised and has a beautiful view of the lights of Deming at night. The sites are beautifully landscaped, and there are different size sites, to suit your needs. The visitor center is a must see, and offers insight into some of the rocks you may find if you are a rock hound. There is a Desert Botanical Garden, and a Native Plant Garden. The showers and bathrooms were clean. Hook-ups, w/e, worked fine. We had some high wind, but only after the perfect first day. There are two geocache located in the park. We found one, but were unable to find the other. This is a wonderful park and you should plan to stop here at least once. We will definitely return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We loved this campground. The sites are HUGE, with great views of the mountains. The campground host met us at our site and brought us kindling for our fire without being asked. The bathrooms and shower were very clean. There is even a decent playground for kids. Add that to the rockhounding opportunities...this place is a gem! We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

The park is pretty well maintained. While restrooms are clean, they are old and small without any place to put down shampoo, soap dish, etc. except on the floor. The park is about 10 miles out of town - great for peace & quiet and views that just can't be beat but not so convenient if you want to eat out, see the sights. The park was full when we arrived, so they put us in the group site. It was wonderful until they shoehorned in 3 more RVs right next to us in the next few hours, one on top of the other. Also, the group site is a shortcut to hiking area so there was a lot of foot traffic under our windows. Is this over exuberance of hospitality or desire to bring in all possible revenue? We probably won't stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a quiet and wonderful isolated campground that served as an excellent base camp for us. The terrace level campground has commanding views of the Florida Mountains, Deming, and distant ranges and peaks. The campground is on a southwest slope below a volcanic ridge. This past week when Deming had low temperatures in the teens it was 5 to 10 degrees warmer in the morning at the campground. The access roads are wide and there is a moderate incline to the upper sites. Our back-in site had a very level gravel pad. There are a few pull-throughs. There are 24 spacious sites with 30 amp electric and all but one could accommodate big rigs. During our stay there were three to five sites still available in the evening. The campground is below several cell phone towers and satellite TV is picked up without problems. The entrance road to the state park is paved. For some reason the access road of the campground loops were left unpaved. The one and only restroom is very small. We stayed here for six nights. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautiful views, great sunsets from every site. Large, fairly level gravel sites with water and power. Power was strong and clean, but at times the water pressure was low enough to require on board water pump support. We were here over Thanksgiving week and the park got close to full, but there were always no-hookup sites available. The bathroom/shower room (only 1 for the whole park) was unheated so we didn't use them. They looked as reported by another reviewer - clean but aging. We will definitely stop for another week when passing through. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Remote location out of town at the foot of a mountain. Gravel sites with nice views. Large back-in sites but narrow pull-throughs. I would not recommend this park for a large rig that needs a pull-through space. However highly recommended if you can back-in, you like peace and quiet and the beauty of the desert area. Its not for everyone. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice flat over sized site with covered picnic table area. Beautiful panoramic views. Trails leading to rock picking areas are ok if you are in fairly good shape. There are some resting points along the way. Be sure to take camera and a bag to collect the rocks. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We were met at campground entrance by a camp host who took us to a very nice site. Customer Service! Rangers, volunteers and camp hosts all very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly. Incredible views from spacious sites. While the showers are spotless and comfortably roomy, they are showing their age. And there are 3 toilets but only 1 shower. That was the only drawback to the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

What a spectacular place for an RV escape. Set up against the mountains east of Deming, the views were fantastic and sunset unequaled. Nice hiking trails around the park. Once again state parks have been among the best we've stayed in. Only shortcoming was the condition of the showers. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great state park with views of the sunset that will bring you back. Host was very helpful and moved us to a pull through site as we had a toad. Park is clean and well taken care of. The reason for the 9 score is the bathrooms could use a remodel, but that's all. We will be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We spent 8 days here and really enjoyed the park. The park is up a hillside with the sites terraced giving you incredible views, especially at night. The city lights of Deming, sunsets, and the mountain on the left silhouetted against the night sky… Beautiful!! Good cell, Aircard and Satellite reception (no trees). Water pressure wasn’t the best but it was ok. No problems with the electricity fluctuating. Very friendly camp hosts, with lots of good information. Sites were relatively level and big rig friendly. Gravel roads and sites with a shelter, fire ring and picnic table which is located on a cement pad. There is also a hiking trail and a trail that takes you through the cactus garden. There is a visitors center at the entrance to the park but we didn’t go in. Hubby says the bathrooms were very clean. This park does have a dump station which was very easy to get in. The only drawbacks were the thorns/burrs which were in the grass. You will need to keep a good eye on kitty or rover….and the flies, they were very aggressive. It may just be that time of the year for them. Grocery shopping in Deming at Peppers or Super Walmart. Propane is also available in town. We loved it here and will be back when in the area. Rate reflects our annual camping pass fee. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is one of our best experiences yet! First, I was very impressed by the New Mexico state online reservation system which gives you detailed, specific information on each site including the site dimensions and photos. Why can't "for profit" parks give this kind of service? We stayed in site #17 which was huge! Each site has a BBQ, fire pit, picnic table, concrete patio, and shade cover. The site was level and gravel. Hookups were new and worked fine. The restrooms were clean, modern, and basic state park facilities. Only comment would be the ADA compliant seat in the shower made it necessary to stand very close to the shower head. The views from the camp site were incredibly beautiful both day and night. The far away city lights and unbelievable stars were fantastic. We spent hours "rock hounding" around the park. Although it was very warm in August, we started early in the morning and collected some nice rocks. This is a special place which we would highly recommend. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is in a nice location with lots of room to get any size rig in. With only 29 sites resevations are recomended. I gave it a lower rating because the rest rooms and showers were not very clean and had a torn shower curtain. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice place to stay during the spring or fall but the summers are too hot for me. The night we stayed we enjoyed a lecture of the night sky that was excellent. This park allows you to hunt for and take rock from the park. The first time we stayed the kids enjoyed collecting rocks of different types and we took them home and tumbled them. After the first time though the kids didn't want to do again. Novelty wore off after that. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park, though small, is lovely in many ways. It has the standard state park features, with a beautiful view of the area (the sites are up the hillside). The town of Deming is really quite interesting, especially a very substantial museum (free) about local history, and lots of Mexican restaurants. We were glad we stayed there and got to spend a day in town. It's quite convenient to I-10, although about 7-10 miles of country driving off the interstate. The sites are quite easy to back into, some are pull throughs. Giant rigs might not fit every site. We'd stay there again for sure. No phone hookups, but cell phone (Verizon) worked very well. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

If you like Rock Hounding this is a place for you; quartz, jasper, agates, opal, etc. If you're not so inclined perhaps not a great stop over. Sites are level and deep with good separation. Each has a cabana for shade with picnic tables and fire rings. Some great trails to hike that also lead to rock hounding activities. We camped here in a camper.

Great campground for an over night or two. Far enough off the highway so no road or train traffic. Easy pull-throughs with lots of swing room (we pull with a toter - 62 ft coming in). Were able to stay connected for an early out next morning. Camp worker was very friendly helping us get setup (even though it was after 9pm when we pulled in). We had had truck trouble near Tucson and were running behind schedule. Called for site and when owner heard our problems he said we could make a "donation" for electric rather than charge us full price. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a new park and is still a work in process. What is there is good. There are no trees. The entire park is gravel in the fashion common in the southwest. It is 545 O'Kelley Rd east of NM 11, south of town. We stayed overnight and would do so again. No train or road noise. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

A converted old drive in theater. Free coffee every morning during the winter. Friendly staff but mostly permanent residents and snowbirds. Maintenance and upkeep are in need of attention but I would stay here again. You get what you pay for and I feel you get your moneys worth. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here January and into the first part of February, We had a better rate as we were a smaller unit and did not use much electricity. The owner is a very accommodating man and the manager is very welcoming. A TV room with coffee on and plenty of book trading for reading. Although the parking and roadways are a packed gravel it is a real clean place. Typical of New Mexico RV parks. Close to shopping and the local area is very a historical place to visit. We used this area for travel to Mexico. We would stay here again and strongly recommend it. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The posted rate reflects the Passport America discount which is good for two nights. A monthly stay is $125 + electricity ($100 deposit). This little campground is away from the train and freeway noise one deals with at most of the Deming RV parks. It is located 15 miles north of Deming itself, and there is a 1.8 mile very washboard-rutted gravel/dirt road leading to the park. First the good: All sites are pull through and shaded by mulberry trees in season. There is a lovely clubhouse with cable TV, pool table, kitchen area, laundry, book and DVD exchange, and the nicest shower/restroom combination we've ever encountered. The laundry room is an "honor" system. $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry. You pay when you leave. The surrounding countryside is very rural/ranch land, including cattle next door. If you have horses you are able to corral them here. Friendly and helpful owners. The stars at night are incredible. It is also very pet friendly. The bad: It gets very windy here, so bad that you aren't able to be outside your rig or the clubhouse for any amount of time. Gusts rocked our rig many, many times. Our internet access and cell phone service with AT&T was spotty to non-existent. That said, we'd probably return if we were in the area again; when, hopefully when it is less windy. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This price reflects Passport America, good for 2 nights. Park is clean and well kept and right off Highway 180, 15 miles north of Deming. Turn right and go a short drive on a wide gravel road in good condition. Park is very pet friendly. Well behaved pets can be off leash with owner present. This is a country setting with cattle ranches around. A nice get away from I-10 and city stuff. We enjoyed driving the country roads and the City of Rocks State Park is close by. City of Rocks is a must see park of incredible rock formations. The owner of this park was extremely attentive and helpful. If you're on your way to Silver City, this is a good stopover. We used our Verizon air card for wi-fi. Cell phone worked. We camped here in a Motorhome.
