We stopped to see if we would like to stay here. Park was half full at best in February. Spaces were a decent size and park is nicely maintained. Has two ex-cop cars just before you go into the park. The lady at the desk was very nice. The man was gruff and not happy that we have Harleys in our Toy-hauler. Since phone was available we might have been able to get DSL, but with no cable TV we decided not to stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Large, level pull-thrus for our motor home and tow vehicle - no problem. We made a reservation but it did not appear necessary. Good stop for an overnighter if you can sleep through the trains. Dogs are allowed but the designated dog walk is full of stickers. Dogs appear to be an after-thought at many RV parks, in our opinion. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Just off I-10 at Exit 81, it was a very nice camping facility with some superior amenities, such as an indoor pool and spa. The graveled campsites were spacious and well-maintained. No major discounts were offered, but their daily rate was considered reasonable. A minor accident at our campsite resulting in a broken water pipe raised the ire of the camp host. We were presented with a $25 repair bill, ordered to pay up and leave the camp. Campers should be cautious when dealing with the camp host and his staff under other than ordinary circumstances. In our case, they were rude, abrasive, and inhospitable in response to what amounted to an unfortunate accident. As a result of our experience at 81 Palms, we do not intend to return. We stayed overnight because there is only one row that is big enough with cable & 50 amp. The main part of the park is much older, and for our truck and 40' 5th wheel the only space we could have gotten into easily was taken (by another 40' 5th wheel). The other spaces in the main part of the park are tight and narrow. Staff was very nice. Deming is a flat spot in New Mexico with wind and therefore dust. We ride motorcycles and game so really want DSL or HSI where we camp. This park would be ok if your rig is under 33' and 30 amp. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed in this campground for one month (January). It has an enclosed and covered pool but the water temperature was less than 75F. All safety equipment (hook, rings etc.) are fastened to the wall too high for a typical rescuer to reach. The spa is locked in a separate building and only available on request between 3 and 5:30 PM. There were no scheduled activities during our stay that we are aware of. The Internet is available through a dial up computer in the office. I have carried an IBM compatable laptop for 2 years so feel familiar with Internet access but found their Mac, with an ancient (sticky) keyboard, hard to operate. Took me 1/2 hour to do what I can do in 5 mins on my own. When I pulled out the keyboard slide to lower the keyboard to typing height, next day it was screwed down so I couldn't move it. When filling our 7 gallon propane tank we were charged for 7 1/2 gallons (impossible) $5.50 more for the tanks than by filling it ourselves. Dogs are permitted with a small area for their business. No space outside the park immediately available for walking other than the sidewalk. There are 4 RV parks side by side with chain link fence separation. One park next door had WiFi but generally it is not readily available in Deming except in hotels. One coffee shop said they had WiFi. Tried there 3 times but not wotking either time. Small children called the park home. The owners had grandchildren there too. All gravel pads and roads. Laundry was cheap. $1 per wash and 2 loads fit in the large dryer for $.50 We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Was not impressed. Its a parking lot right off the main drag. The town is dirty and there is absolutely NO place to buy food of any higher quality than dog food. I would not recommend any campground in this entire town. You will thank me if you heed this advice. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice, big gravel spots. On main road and very convenient to shopping. Videos, book exchange and nice laundry available. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park has very friendly staff with an efficient check-in. They are an Escapee park so offer their discount. The park area is graveled and the sites are large enough with space to maneuver big rigs. There is no wifi or cable TV. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were satisfied with everything in the park. Check in parking area was large,long pull throughs with good turning radius. No park cable or Wi-Fi. We knew this ahead of time, so were not disappointed. Usually a social hour at 4pm every day. Good value and we would use it again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an interesting place. Very nice people, clean gravel sites and a real bargain with passport. One negative is the road to the park. I would highly recommend you unhook your tow vehicle before going down that road and crawl in. 5th wheels stay a lot cleaner on that trip and they will let you rinse off your rig when you arrive. There is a cattle operation and cattle roam that area and where there are cattle there are flies. We probably won't stay again says the co-pilot but it wasn't a bad experience. This is a great park if you want to relax in peace and quiet. John, the Manager, is extremely nice and accommodating. The road in is rough and unpaved. You can get some TV with an antenna. We would stay there again, if in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Campground is considerably north of Deming and most of access roads are unpaved. However the trip is worth it if you enjoy getting out in the boonies, away from noise. You won't find a swimming pool, store or other amenities here, but campground is well maintained and spaces are more than adequate in size. This could be good for an extended stay--rates are very reasonable. Management is friendly and helpful. Less than 30 minutes away from Wal-Mart Supercenter. Only drawback was dust from unpaved roads in campground. Nice views of mountains. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The 7 miles of gravel road were well maintained. I would recommend unhooking your toad before driving in on the gravel. The grounds were clean and well kept. We enjoyed the remote setting in the desert. This is a good location for sightseeing in the Deming/Silver City area. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Long dirt road, but very well maintained. RV park is very well laid out and sites are pretty level. Lots of cactus and birds roaming around. Well marked trails for walking and some ATV trails also. Laundry facilities are clean and new. Owners very friendly and clubhouse has large library of books and video's and DVD's to rent. Limited cell phone service, but Wi-Fi is available for $1 per night. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This place has sites with 30 Amp electric which flucuates from 108 to 112 but never reached 120 volts while we were there. It is located one block from the Interstate and two blocks from the Railroad Tracks. Traffic noise and train noise was very loud, all night long. We would not stop here again. We stayed here for an overnight and found it very clean and quiet. With Passport it only costs $7. McDonalds and Taco Bell a stone's throw away and not far off the interstate. We got a pull-thru and we fit fine but our neighbors are VERY close. It's tight and close quarters but very doable. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, including their pet kitty who greets everyone. We would stay here again for an overnight and recommend it as a very good overnighter park. We were on our way to Arizona when our transmission went out of the truck. We chose a site along the fence with water and electric only for one night at $12. When our truck was destroyed by fire after the transmission was replaced we were given a pull through site. We were there for 3 weeks having to find another truck and get the hitch transferred to the new truck. The managers adjusted our rate to the monthly rate. They were extremely friendly and helpful in sugesting places to see and shop. They told us about Cano's Restaurant where they serve some of the best food we ever ate and a desert called banana in a blanket that is to die for! We will definitely stay there again. Basically this is a large gravel parking lot with hookup posts. Easy-in/easy-out and the staff is friendly. The park is very quiet. We think it is good for an overnight stay but wouldn't want to stay there for more than a day or two. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Deming, NM is a quaint little (tiny) town where Little Vineyard RV Park is located on Business I-10. This park was busy (in and outs) and a bit noisy, but nice. All sites here are loose gravel, not much shade, but I did manage to find a site with a tree affording me shade in late afternoon. The laundry facilities are nice and clean and inexpensive, only $1.00 per load to wash and dry. They advertise free WiFi, but I was only able to connect one time. It didn't work 99% of the time. CATV worked perfectly! Staff was very friendly. Rates are reasonable. Using my Good Sam discount I paid $22.25 for one night. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a Loners on Wheels park and also member of Passport America. It is very nice & clean park, away from highways & rail roads. It is not a resort but has all you need for overnight or longer stays. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
