Price reflects Passport America rate. FHU 50 amp gravel site. Park is located close to interstate behind a motel. Sites are pull through and decent size. Good for a night or two while on the road. Good free Wi-Fi. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I agree with the last two reviews. It is Passport America. Site was long and level, I have a 45 foot 5th wheel. Water pressure good. 50Amp and free Wi-Fi, how can you complain? Edge of town, Walmart 3 mi. Didn't check out restrooms so can't comment. But for a one or two night stop in Las Cruces at this price it is very good. Not a Resort, but clean, safe and convenient. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Passport America valid only for full hookups. Great Wi-Fi. Shower is a hotel room so only one shower/bathroom stall per sex. Biggest complaint is that the water was lukewarm (great water pressure). Since we use bathroom and showers of RV parks would pass on this one next time. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a barely passable park. It has a fence around it and felt okay. It is part of a motel next door. The motel has the washrooms and showers which are very tired. Wi-Fi worked well. Lots are adequate. Water pressure is very low. Would look around before staying here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Las Cruces is a busy little town. Some of the streets have tight lanes. We came in after hours. The instructions were clear on where to set up and how much. The over-nighters get the back corner on pea-sized compacted gravel. But it was OK. The FHU was in order. Wifi and cable TV worked well. 74 channels on the TV! The place was clean with wide roads throughout. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

We spent one night here in a truck camper and want to warn others about staying here. The shower "situation" was disgusting. I wondered if I felt cleaner after leaving the crapped out motel room marked for women they call their shower. The pool was closed due to ? drought-. The overall feeling at the place was a bit scary, uncomfortable. Don't stay here! We choice it because it was listed as a Passport America member. It no longer is, BUT it still says it is on their website. I don't know where would be better, just don't stay here. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

Previous comments made are accurate. We came to the motel/rv park through Passport America. At checkin we stated that we were PA members and the manager quoted us $25. The internet rate was $23. He said he raised it due to increased electricity costs? For $25 it's okay but when we checked in there were 2 sites available - because it's full of long termers in old trailers. The site I was assigned had a bad 50 amp plug and I asked for the only other available site. Manager did not seem to care. Voltage was low by my EMS but enough to get the job done. Lots of cigarette butts everywhere!! The overall phrase that comes to mind . . . "trailer trash"???? We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Call ahead. If they offer to put you in the "overflow", which is behind the motel, go somewhere else. (They may only put Passport Members there.) The sites are long, but narrow because they double up. The overflow sites are only W&E and the electrical boxes are old and some of the receptacles are broken. There is a trash barrel that was overflowing and some had blown up against the fence. If they have a "pick up after your pooch" rule, they do not enforce it in this part of the park. Also, they apparently do not have a dangerous breed rule. Pit Bulls are allowed. The main part of the park looked much nicer. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We had to spend the night in the overflow, we were told we had no reservation. There were no sewer hook ups, it was dusty, and behind the motel. We had no choice because of truck mechanical problems. This cost $23 dollars a night, with a Passport America membership, which was not known before we chose to stop here. We've been in this park in the past and had a good stay, but will never stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

OK place to park and sleep. Long level site long enough to not have to unhook 40 foot fifth wheel. Verizon air card, AT&T, and T-Mobil phones worked well. Passport America rate depends on who checks you in. Web site says $18 got charged $23 and would not take less. Was tired and was not going to argue over $5.00. Will go somewhere else next time. Good for overnight. PA discount makes it a decent stop. Don't try to call before; they don't always have the office staffed; however, the office was very friendly when I checked in despite having some surly customers. Seems some travelers took exception to the water being frozen. Imagine that with the temps being below 10 for about three days. Act nice and they will do the same. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park offers easy access from I-10 making is an excellent stop for the night. The sites are all pull through and each has a tree and picnic table. The roads and sites are gravel, but everyone drives slow to not cause dust. The Wi-Fi was very good. The park is behind a motel and quiet considering how close it is to the freeway. We stayed here two nights using the Passport America discount. It is not worth the full price. While walking the dogs it appears that very few folks pick up the poop. In the back are permanent residents that keep less than a tidy place. We probably won't stay here again unless it is just for a night. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We enjoyed our short stay as this park is close to Old Mesilla where we have a favorite restaurant. The staff is very friendly and gladly accepted our mail and gave us a quick check in. This park has some residents along the back row, however, all rigs looked keep up well and we felt secure in the area. At this price, for an overnight it worked well for us and we would stay here again as it is much easier to get into than places we have stayed in town. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The sites are level, big enough for any rig and have full services, including Wi-Fi. It appears to be occupied mainly by full-time residents and workers. With I-10 right beside you, expect plenty of highway noise. At the regular rate of $35, it's very over-priced. But at the Passport America rate of $18.50, it's a reasonable overnight stop. Our only problem was with the staff at the check-in desk. I have never encountered anyone so unfriendly in 10 years of RVing. The couple who checked in just ahead of us encountered the same rude welcome. We had arranged to meet friends in town or we would have walked out of the office. Pity. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stay here every time we are traveling I-10, about twice per year. This park is excellent, level pull throughs, nice facilities, breakfast included. The only reason it is not a 10 is because the sites are gravel. The price is a little more than others in the area but nice costs more. We highly recommend and will continue to visit this park in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Expensive and ugly. Very noisy due to road traffic. Bad odors from the sewer plant across the street. Paid for a month but left after just a couple of weeks. Park is mostly long-term residents. Do not listen to the office staff on how to enter. We were directed the wrong way, the clerk was more interested in talking with a friend then in us. Check-in through motel desk. RV park in back of motel. Apparently many permanent residents. No information provided as to location of dumpster or rest rooms and showers, if there are any. Was charged $18.50 though PPA posted in PPA directory as $13.25. Could not get water from faucet morning of departure as it could have been frozen. Sewer riser about 12 inches above level of ground making it very difficult to empty tanks. WiFi available and free. I got strong signal but could never make connection. Was provided with name to call for assistance but it was one "Leave message and I'll get back to you." Same with desk at motel. When I called about not being able to get water was asked to leave message. The one positive was that location is close to I-10 and easy to fine. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This might be an okay place, but our experience was awful enough that we just drove away. We'd seen a big billboard for this place out on the freeway, and found it in Passport America. There were vacant sites to be had until I happened to mention Passport America to the rather unpleasant clerk. Suddenly, all he had were "dry" sites. When I asked what that meant, he said they were water and electric only. Since we were just pulling in for a quick overnight, I thought that would be okay. He didn't tell me that the "dry" sites weren't in the fenced RV park at all, but in a nasty little gravel parking lot behind the motel where they have 10 pull-thru sites. At least, that's what they called them. Our view was of the junk and trash in the backyards of two adjacent hovels, and the clientele we saw coming in and out of the motel next to us was enough to send us out of there in a hurry. We could see vacant sites in the RV park, so I don't know if this was just a way to rook Passport America folks or not, but we won't ever go back to this horrid place. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a Passport America park and we paid only 1/2 price. I would rate it as an OK park with good streets and level sites, but few amenities. I would stay for a night, but not long term. If you are a member of Passpost America, it is a bargin. The employees are friendly and helpful. It is well off of the street and quiet. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice park close to all that Las Cruces has to offer, including Old Mesilla. Quick and efficient check-in; escort to site. Staff was friendly and helpful. Utilities are in a good location and worked well. Sites are a little close together. Sites are pea gravel (raked as soon as someone departs) and level. Entire park is beautifully maintained. We liked this campground. Staff was friendly and sites easy to pull into with plenty of room. It was a very windy day so it was good to put the 5th wheel to bed. Rate is Good Sam. This is a top flight park just off I-10 and convenient to restaurants and shopping. Walmart is very closely as are other stores. The staff are great and there is a huge lounge area and patio that is more like a modern hotel than an RV Park. Sites are good sized and will accommodate a big rig and tow, in most cases. Wi-Fi worked well as did the cable TV. Bathrooms and laundry were also quite nice. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at this RV park many times. It is the nicest park in Las Cruces, but it is also the most expensive. You used to get a free breakfast with the price, but not anymore. The sites are all level and full hookup including cable. The clubhouse is very nice and that is where all of the facilities are. The clean restrooms are well stocked with soap and paper towel. The clean laundry room is also very nice. Very convenient access to WalMart for your shopping. The reasons I gave this park an 8 rating is because I tested the water with a water quality TDS tester and it came up with a number of 355, which is not harmful but rather high. I have never tested it in our past stays, so maybe the city of Las Cruces just has terrible water. The other reason I rated it an 8 is because the price keeps getting higher and now the breakfast is gone so it is getting hard to justify the price. Don't get me wrong the facilities are a 10 rating and they do a great job of maintaining things. We will most probably stay here again in the future because we come this way in the winter months. The park was 3/4 empty, maybe because of the time of year, don't know. Nice office area, check in help could use a course on greeting and friendliness. We've stayed here many times over the years and have always rated the park highly, but each visit results in higher rates and less service. Our rate reflects the Good Sam discount and $5 coupon, otherwise expect to pay $44 plus tax for a pull through site. On check-in the younger of the two office staff was not just indifferent, but went out of her way to be rude. The free breakfast has been discontinued. Sites are level gravel, some with shrubbery dividers, and have no table. Free cable TV worked well but the free Wi-Fi was very slow. Verizon cell and 3G Aircard worked well. Convenient to I-10, but so close that vehicle noise is a distraction throughout the night. A nice facility, but increasing rates, declining services, and an indifferent staff have resulted in our decision to bypass this park in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very well maintained c/g, with far away views of the mountains, paved roads, level pull through sites, side to side hookups. Enclosed pet run and walking area. Large and spotless bathrooms, large and well equipped laundry, beautiful clubhouse, Wal-Mart and other big stores nearby along with great local restaurants and lots of sightseeing. Along with all these conveniences comes the inevitable noise from the freeway which is pretty much 24/7, there is also noise from the train. We would not stay here again for an extended period, however, if we were passing through, we would stay overnight, it is certainly very handy for on and off the freeway. Wi-Fi is poor but cell is good. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We've stayed at this resort a number of times when passing through Las Cruces. The staff is great and the facilities are spotless and well maintained. Sites are a small pea-gravel that you find in many desert states. Roads are wide and easy to negotiate. We're a 45' quad-slide coach towing a Jeep. We choose sites 176, 178 & 180 because they are very long and wide pull-throughs. These particular sites are a little more expensive and we like them because they are angled so you don't get the west sun: which can be very uncomfortable depending on the time of year. Never been here when the wind didn't blow hard at least for a day or so. When it does you'll get dusty and will find it gets inside the RV no matter how tight you button things up. But that's what happens in the desert. There's close I-10 access and the sleepy little historic town of Mesilla is almost next door. It's a delightful place to visit. We highly recommend this RV Resort when in Las Cruces. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I usually choose my parks by the reviews on this site, which is what I did for this park. I agree with others comments on the park in general, however, the fees previous reviewers paid just one and two months earlier were significantly cheaper than what I was charged (even with my 10% GS discount). I would expect higher rates would be charged during the snowbird months which usually begin in October, but it's 90 degrees here. Very disappointed to pay this much for a one-night stay at this time of year. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed at Hacienda in our 5th wheel for an overnight. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a long pull thru that allowed us to keep our truck hooked up. The park was close to the freeway, which for us was a plus. There were only a couple other rigs there (very hot) so we had the site to ourselves. There was no shade. The sites were not huge-you basically share the utility area with the RV next to you and then there is a space. The park had amazing facilities as far as bathrooms, laundry, work out room and even a large spa. Everything was very clean and well cared for. We enjoyed our short stay and would definitely return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I love traveling in the southwest at this time of year because all the campgrounds have lots of room, and Hacienda was no exception. They even have a summer rate which helped. We had an end-of-row pull thru site that was nice and wide with a nice picnic area. The interior sites are shared utilities with bushes separating each pair of sites. The dog run is outstanding! It appears to be several hundred yards long and the large dogs must love being off leash and just being able to run from one end to the other. A nice touch is trash pickup at your site so you don't have to go hunting for dumpsters. In the summer with the a/c going, you don't hear much from I-10 that passes right by the campground. One word of caution, though. Mapquest directions said the turn onto Stern Street was about 3/10 of a mile from where you exit I-10. Actually, it's right at the end of the tree-divided highway. We missed it and had to make a U-turn further up the road. Nice campground; didn't use any of the facilities so can't report on them. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I was all excited to stay here after reading some of the reviews already posted but, I have to say I was disappointed. NO shade anywhere, the sewer we hooked up to had a foul odor, and the young lady at the front desk must have been really burned out on RVers. She was no help at all and charged me $2 more than the rate I was quoted on the phone. I felt it was way overpriced for what you got although it was nice to have cable TV and the Wi-Fi worked well. I will not stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Immaculate. Sparkling. This is one of the cleanest parks we have ever stayed in. The wide, huge entry leads to a nice big office, lounge, store, laundry, restrooms, showers, etc. All the roads are blacktop. Every 2 sites are separated by a fence, trees and thick shrubs. Each site is long, or wide enough for vehicle parking next to the RV. The gravel is raked after every departure. Any noise from the interstate did not bother us. We liked being within walking distance of wonderful Mesilla restaurants and shops. Wifi was excellent and cell signal was strong. We would like to stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

In previous years/previous visits we would always come away thinking a "9" or even a "10". However, this time they squeak by with a "5". Much of the time we were wiping the gravel dust off prior to entering our RV. Additionally, we were placed right next to a motorhome and I do mean right next to...I'm not exaggerating when I say we could reach out the window and touch next door. Be-that-as-it-may...we like Las Cruces, and Hacienda...we just won't be so quick to stay here when traveling thru. We camped here in a Motorhome.

"Free Wifi" has not been working for 2 months and they don't know when it is going to be fixed. Cable TV reception is very poor. Sites are graveled and dust tracks everywhere. Spa area appears unkept. They seem to worry more about raking the gravel in the sights after people leave than repairing the internet or cable. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Wonderful 4 day stay. Staff helpful and friendly. Showers, restrooms, laundry all top notch. Close to shopping and cultural sites. My only issue for such a nice park was the sites were covered with small stones that produced a chalk like powder. This left a lot of footprints and dust in the fifth wheel. We will return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Lots of good things. When we arrived they said that the free Wi-Fi was down but no reduction in their charges. The sites have some sort of dusty pebbles that collect on you dogs. Otherwise a very nice campground. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

When we last stayed here in 2007 we gave them a 9... this time we only gave a 6. Breakfast, that was provided last visit, was no longer offered. Cable TV reception was very poor... staff said that they would check it, but that did not happen. Wi-Fi has been down for 3 weeks... oh well! Central facilities are very attractive but don't seem to get much use. Next stay in Las Cruces will be somewhere else. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed two nights. Very nice park but to close to I-10 so there was noise all night long. WiFi was not working. We thought the price was a bit high because of the noise and no WiFi. Massively expensive parking lot, I agree with some of the other reviewers. Yes, the sites are big and the services are solid but this is just too much to pay for a gravel lot one block from the interstate. No pool. While we were here the WiFi did not work. Not the friendliest front office. Dog run was difficult for my older dog: you have to walk down a series of steps, again everything is gravel, no grass. Would we stop here again? Doubtful, only if there was nowhere else around. We passed a park on the north side of town that we might check-out next time. It was farther away from I-10. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice park by our standards, and the only place to stay in Las Cruces. Other parks in the area pale by comparison. The spaces vary in size (and price), and the pull-through we had, which was not the most expensive, was plenty big enough in both width and depth, for our coach and toad. All the roads are paved and the spaces are covered with fine gravel which the staff keeps raked. There is a very nice fenced (off-lead) dog run. The main building is well kept, as are the bathrooms, showers, and laundry facility. Nice place all round; however, calling it a "resort" is definitely an overstatement. There were no activities that we saw other than a modest Friday night margarita party, and no pool (jacuzzi only: and it was closed). Our only complaint was that there was no internet access for 7 of the 9 days we were here. The staff seemed to be clueless as to the cause and as to when it would be up again. They did post a sign saying it would be up on Monday, but we naively didn't ask for the week, month, or year! It was still not up when we left on Thursday, and management was unwilling to make any price concession (discount) for this lack of advertised amenity. But even without internet service, it is still the best place to say in Las Cruces. Easy access to and from I-10. Our nightly rate reflects the weekly discount of 7th night free. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is excellent, large level big rig friendly sites. Close to Old Mesilla and good restaurants, easy to drive in and almost all pull through. This park is new, it is clean, it is well built and it is well located. Staff is friendly and eager to help. We will stay here anytime in we come through this area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Large pull throughs, and some back-ins that are less expensive. Great deal if you stay 6 nights (not even on the same trip), you get 7th night free. You can walk to the old town Mesilla plaza and there is good shopping nearby for groceries and other supplies. Fenced dog walk area, good laundry, clean bathrooms and showers. Is it a destination resort - no, but it's one of the best stop over locations we found traveling across I-10. It is definitely on our list as a stop over for our next cross country trip. Well kept RV park. Workers were friendly. Sites afford some privacy with a thin line of bushes between. Park clean and well cared for although in my book a bit pricey. Wi-Fi and cable excellent. The dog walk area is nice - gated, fenced with lights that go on as you pass by at night and stay on for a substantial amount of time. I would stay here again, but believe it's a bit over priced. As usual we enjoyed our stay at Hacienda. We are not sure if we like the trade off of lower rates with no breakfast and paper. We enjoyed the breakfast and paper and talking with the other campers. It is a tough call on which is most important--saving money in nightly rate, or saving money on breakfast and paper. Maybe this should not have been an "either/or" question--what if they did like other parks and just provide the cheap pre-packaged pastries and a couple of papers? That way people still gather and visit, but the park saves money and can lower the rates. Just a thought. As usual we enjoyed the area (La Mesilla), and even ran into Laura Bush who was shopping there at the same time we were. The discount program with merchants is great, and the wi-fi worked very well. We'll be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Strong winds on I-10 force us to find an RV spot in Las Cruces. Following signs from the interstate we ended up at this "Resort." There is a very large and very hot spa with powerful jets. Other then the spa I was unable to locate another amenity to justify the "Resort" label. This RV Park has a top rated appearance with wide paved access roads and an attractive landscape. It appears the pull-throughs are long enough to accommodate big rigs and there are some extra long sites. The fine gravel sites are level. I did not need to extend the leveling jacks since our site was so level. There is twin parking on a site with side by side utilities. The sites are spacious unless another RV parks opposite and adjacent on the same site. The cable TV and WiFi worked exceptional well. There is not much to do here except take a dip in a spa. The exercise room has a few lightweight dumb bells. The book exchange is low on books. It would have been nice to do laundry. Except the place is in the process of replacing the washers and dryers. It would seem to be a one-day job and yet it looks like the appliances have been missing for awhile. We stayed here one night to be safe from the wind. The over priced rate reflects a Good Sam discount. We will not stay here again unless there is a decrease in overnight rates. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at this park every time we travel across I-10, about twice per year. The price is higher than others but nice costs more. Beautiful facilities, level pull throughs, great location. We spent 3 nights at this RV Park. This is the nicest RV park we have ever stayed at and we would highly recommend it for anyone considering a stay in Las Cruses. Our dog got critically ill the first day there and the staff was extremely helpful to us in getting our dog quickly into a local veterinary clinic. The staff came to our site a couple of times each day to inquire how our dog was doing. The entire park was maintained in pristine condition, and all facilities were equally maintained. We used the laundry facilities which were very clean and sufficiently air conditioned during our stay. The park is beautifully landscaped, and the landscaping provides for great privacy between sites. The park is also very conveniently located to the quaint historic area as well as conveniently located to shopping. The location is a decent part of town and also provided for easy access to the interstates. We would highly recommend this park to others. We have absolutely no complaints with our stay, and we certainly will stay at this park anytime we pass through this area in the future. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is supposed to be the "best RV Resort in NM" and we were looking forward to coming here. The clubhouse building is beautiful and the sites look very nice with landscaping and wooden barriers. The extra long pull-throughs are extra long (and more expensive) but they are buddy sites with your neighbor only the utility posts away. In a virtually empty park did they put someone next to us? Of course they did. The exercise equipment and laundry room are inadequate and not air-conditioned because they are "saving money". Management didn't feel the need to warn us that ants were prevalent and "are normal for this time of year" until they were running all over inside our coach. The sites are gravel so we didn't spot them in time. How long will we have to battle the ants is still unknown. We left early. We will not return to this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here based on glowing reviews from this site and it was an immaculately kept park, that's for certain. However, it is very well lit and located between two highways and a train track so if you're looking for a nice dark, quiet place to sleep this might not be it for you. Absolutely beautiful park. Very well kept, lots are good size and you have the lovely mountains in the distance. There are trees and shrubs so you feel like you have a little privacy. We would definitely stay here again. The only negatives I have are, as one other reviewer noted, no pool and the one fitness room was very hot and the one piece of equipment I wanted to use was out of order. It is near the freeway, but that didn't bother us at all. If you can get a spot that faces the mountains, it's gorgeous. We camped here in a Motorhome.

If this place had a pool I would have given it a 10+. This park was great. I won't repeat all the great things that the others have said but the sites are level, and large beyond belief. Has great electrical, water, sewer and a nice clubhouse. Here are the cons. How on earth can a RV resort this large and this nice NOT have a pool when the average summer temperature is well over 100. There is not one lick of shade anywhere in this park. Yes there is greenery but only small shrubs. Since each of the sites is on gravel (which is smoothed out after you exit), the gravel serves as a giant heat reflector up into your trailer. I have two large A/C units and could not keep up well at all. Easy on and off of I-10. Plenty to do, eat and see within a mile. Wal-Mart right across the interstate (I can see it from here at the site). Two giant RV dealers border the RV park. Nice 24 hour clubhouse with all the amenities. My question though is that we were here for a solid week and never saw more than 7 other RV's in this place at once. I mean its that empty: each RV literally had its on row. I have no idea where everyone else is staying but if this place had a pool I would have given it a 10+. The check in staff was excellent. The spots are so big I parked my truck beside my 5th wheel with slides out and awning out and still have plenty of room. You could park two Class A's side by side in each spot they are that big. Minus the pool, this is the nicest park I have stayed in in a long time. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This super clean park is quiet in the summertime, but then the rates drop. Our hard packed gravel site was level, clean, and very wide. Pick a site that faces N/E due to the afternoon sun. Golf is several miles away and start early in the day. The area of Old Mesilla, and the White Sands Missile area are worthwhile. If you ride motorcycles, the Harley shop is across the street. You can wash your coach which was a added bonus. We will be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We loved this park! The sites were level and large which is a big deal because we're quite new to RVing. The surface was a real fine red pebble which is dragged (like a baseball diamond) after someone leaves. It also had a wonderful, fenced dog walk/run which our Golden Retriever enjoyed. Las Cruces was a destination; this was the second time we'd been here and really like the area. Don't recall that there was a lot of noise in spite of being very close to the freeway. The office/store was beautiful and immaculate! We will be back to the area and will stay here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice resort with wide roads and spaces. Nice tall hedges between most sites. All sites were neat as a pin. When one traveler leaves they drag the site before the next one comes. Fast and friendly check-in. The park itself is quiet and relaxed but we did hear a lot of highway noise at night. I was woken up by Jake brakes on the interstate a couple times over the night and then a train at 6 in the morning. That would be my only complaint about the Hacienda in addition to not having a real pool. We stayed here overnight while passing through. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is one of the best run and maintained park we have stayed in. Nice large sites, wide paved roads so it is easy in and out. Personnel couldn't have been nicer. Newspaper and breakfast every morning. Since the park was not super busy when we were here, they parked rigs in every other site, which gave us plenty of privacy and room. Pet friendly, nice large fenced dog run and plenty of green grass to walk the dogs on. Just remember to pick up. We have stayed here before and will be back again. Starting June 1st rates go down to $30 a night for the summer. What a great deal for such a lovely park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Why is it in a park that is only about 1/4 full that they park people in every site rather than leaving a site open between? This is a very nice, but overpriced park and we decided to splurge and stay here on the last day of our 3 week journey. Whoever is assigning spaces just put huge Class A motorhomes next to us on each side. The rest of the park is empty. We can't even see out our side windows. We won't stay here again for any reason! This park is very nice. The sites are large and we really like the foliage separating sites on the entry side. However, the back side (hook-up) is very close to your neighbor. The meeting rooms are a good size with plenty of tables and chairs. The breakfast is mundane: english muffins and bagels, cereals. The real downside to this park is the location. It is very close to Interstate 10 and the noise is constant at night with truck traffic. Yes, there are train whistles, too, but those weren't nearly as disturbing to us as the interstate noise was. Some may not find this as annoying as we did. We live in a very quiet community without city noises. And the only view we had was of the Interstate. The park is a little expensive. We have stayed at nicer parks for less. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have stayed in the other 2 parks in town, and this is by far the best. In fact, it was one of the best parks we've ever stayed in. Spotless, beautiful club house. Dog walk was terrific. This is a very nice, upscale resort, not a campground. The roads are paved, the sites are pea gravel and everything is neat and clean. The check-in staff person was very business-like; the escort was friendly. We were in a pull-thru site (the rigs alternate in direction) and there was a barrier (fence/trellis, bushes and other foliage) between us and our curb-side neighbor which gave some privacy. Our neighbor on the street-side was up close and personal. We never opened a window or a shade on that side. To recycle, we were told we could take our things to Wal-Mart. For all three mornings, the free breakfast offered nothing hot except for what we toasted. There are several different ways you can pay less than their normal nightly rate which totals close to $50; a simpler rate structure might be easier for everyone. We had a coupon letting us buy two nights and get the third night free so we paid not quite $100 for three nights. We would stay here again but not at their normal rate. This was our second visit this winter. The first time was a one night stop and the next was for 3 nights. We had no trouble with the pull-through site and did not have to disconnect our toad from our 38 foot MH. I would have rated the park a 10 if it were not for the side by side hook-ups which at this rate, I feel are a real negative. The highway noise did not bother us, but there is train noise and especially during the night the repeated whistle blowing did wake me a couple of nights. The park caters to groups and was almost full when we arrived the second time so we were glad we'd made a reservation. They give you a card and when you have stayed 6 nights the 7th night is free. They do give you lots of little perks like the free breakfast, free newspaper, cookies and treats for your pets which other parks at this rate do not. They clean the sites after you depart and the entire park is very clean. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a great place to pamper yourself after a long day on the road. It is expensive but worth the value and includes a continental breakfast. It is close to I-10 so when making your reservation ask for a site away from the highway. If you don't mind backing in, the best sites are at the back of the park and look over Old Mesilla. They advertise walking to Old Town but it is a " Long Mile " one way. Take the car as there is lots of parking. If you want to save $18 the Siesta RV Park is actually down the same road about 1/4 mile and further off the freeway. It doesn't get very good reviews but when we drove by it to Old Town and it looked decent. Hacienda is a wonderful park that makes RV travel great. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is located right next to Interstate 10 and is noisy. However if you ask the staff to place you toward the back of the park, I'm sure it would be much better. It is a very tidy park, big rig friendly and although we asked for a pull through, it was not long enough for our 38' rig with the toad attached and therefore had to disconnect for our one night stay. They escort you to your site and overall, the staff were friendly, although failed to mention the noise factor and place us in a better spot. They have a very comfortable lobby and serve a continental breakfast in the morning between 7:30 - 10 am. The hot tub looked nice, but we did not use it. The gym is full of used older equipment so not too encouraged to go in to use it. The laundry was clean and bright and charged $1.25 for both washers and dryers. Overall, the park is aesthetically pleasing and the sites are freshly raked gravel and quite level. We believe the price for this park is too high and so probably would not return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

While we still think this is a very nice place to stay, we are disappointed their rates have gone up so much. Many parks of this caliber are still in the $35-40 range, but even so we will most likely stay here again. They escort you to your site. Their roads are paved, but the sites are small pea gravel. (They rake them after each use.) There are no tables or grills. The sites are side by side, but this has never been a problem for us. The door side of the sites has a privacy fence. The cable TV is good with lots of channels, but the Wi-Fi is slow. The individual showers are very nice and clean. I’m pretty sure they accept children, but the atmosphere is definitely more adult oriented. There is an enclosed dog run. Many restaurants are nearby, and Old Town Mesilla is just down the street. The continental breakfast, the Margaritas on Friday night, and chocolate chip cookies are a nice touch which we have enjoyed. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Right off I-10, this is an excellent choice for a quick relaxing stop. 24 hours security even though not gated is provided in this new RV Resort. Free continental breakfast is provided as well as a very warm lobby with a fireplace and courteous staff. Site is graveled, good clean hook ups. Very close to Old Mesilla restaurants and shopping, not sure I can consider walking distance, 5-6 blocks, may be a little too dark to adventure in a winter night. Free light breakfast, afternoon cookies and coffee/tea, magarita parties on Friday afternoons, wonderful staff. Sites are on the close side with privacy landscaping on one side, all pebble sites so dust is common. Excellent location. A very nice port to find in the teeth of a nasty, early winter storm. Great signage and easy access from 1-10. We were greated warmly by the office staff, then led to a level, clean, sufficiently long and wide enough, pull-through site. Park looks brand new with no fuss, 50amp, full hook-ups. No problems with cell phone or air-card reception. New, spotless bath, shower and laundry rooms. Sure made it easy to extend our stay to enjoy a bit of New Mexico hospitality! As the other reviews state, this is a top notch RV park that caters to RV'rs who come in off the interstate and spend a night or two. The price of $49 per night is somewhat steep, in my opinion. They offer a !0% discount on the daily rate for FMCA etc. but there is a 12% tax so nothing is gained. If you stay 6 nights, the 7th is free. Some pluses are the free continental breakfast and a free USA Today. One big minus is the small gravel surface in all the sites which gets easily carried into the RV. Concrete pads should be the norm for the price paid. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a park that we stop at every year. It is very clean. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The sites are gravel & wide enough for any size coach & number of slides. What a great park! We were pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed this park. Everyone was friendly (employees and guests) and the facilities were top notch. Cement pads and a little more room would have earned a 10. The breakfast was very good and historic Mesilla was a lot of fun to visit. We have stayed in this park at least 10 times in the past 8 year and nothing has changed except the rate. We were assigned a backed that wasn't long enough for our coach and had to move. We like the campground but can't give it a 9 or 10 due to the following things. No concrete pads --everything is pea gravel. No picnic tables or patio type furniture. This is a top quality RV Resort with just about all you need. Very nice continental breakfast each morning. Bath house was very clean, now you ask why a rating of 8? DO NOT make advance reservations in advance as they will put you in the sites far away from activity center and showers. We were in a Class B motorhome and asked to be moved in a site closer to showers and restroom and were told it would cost another $10.00 per night. With 113 sites they had 65% vacant on a holiday weekend, does this tell you something? We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a Great Park, very clean and taken care of. Office and meeting rooms are nicer then some high end hotels. Breakfast in the morning; showers are private with doors that again are like a hotel. This is without a doubt the nicest place we have been to as of yet. It is a beautifully landscaped and clean resort. The restrooms and showers were perfectly clean. First the good. Park is very clean and staff is first rate. There is a great little gift store and they serve you a continental breakfast in the lobby each morning. Now the not so good. Park has no pool and the therapy pool they advertise is nothing more than a large hot tub. The weight room is the size of a walk-in closet with nothing more than some outdated exercise bikes and an ab-lounge. We stay at this park any time that we are in Las Cruces and always enjoy it. It is one of the best kept parks in New Mexico. I will have to say that this time we were rather shocked on how expensive it was and this was with a Good Sam discount. $50! This was not a premium site either. It seemed way more expensive than the last time we were here , less than a year ago. I believe we paid approximately $35 for our last visit. This was very close to what some of the other area parks charged so we always chose Hacienda because it is a great park. We really don't take advantage of the social activities, hot tub, etc. because we are here on business or tourism. I will have to say that we are going to check other RV parks (Sunny Acres) next time we are here because we think $50 is a little high for a place to basically park your RV and sleep. Especially in light that they don't even have tables and chairs at the regular sites to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather and landscaping. Again, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the park; we are going to check out others because they are $15 less a night and are more of a no-frills park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a beautiful modern RV park. Check-in was like checking in to a first class hotel. Everything is clean and well maintained. Our pull-through site was extra long, and there are hedged partitions between the sites. The pet walk area is fenced, and has many trees. Our lab enjoyed running off leash, getting exercise and doing what dogs do. Though close to the freeway we didn't hear loud traffic noise. We stayed two nights here. It is a good choice when you're in Las Cruces. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Weekly rate=$34/night. My 1st 10 given to a park. This place is very very nice! Each spot has tall plants between rigs so it's like you have your own patio with privacy. Nice dog run. Rigs park back-to-front so the neighbors sewer hose isn't next to your table. Oh yeah - bring a table if you need one. Many parks do not have one for every spot. The hot tub is huge and most importantly - hot! Nice exercise room. We stayed in a regular pull-through which is plenty wide enough for us. Very neat and clean park, one of the nicest we have ever found. Very tight spaces, mostly side-by side which means your entry door faces your neighbor's, but most sites have a buffer fence/plantings as a partial screen. You can actually touch your neighbor's coach from your window on the opposite side if you both park close to the utility connection point. We expected much more in a wi-fi system which was one of the worst we have encountered in the last 18 months. It is free, but so weak that we could not connect often as they have only a single antenna for the entire park. I much prefer a commercial [pay] service than a free one that is not usable. This park is not worth the high cost in my opinion. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We had a great time here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The reception area looks like a hotel and the outside space is well maintained with iron chairs/tables and fireplace. There is no pool but the hot tub is very large and my 2 girls felt like it was a "small pool". We had an end site which was large, private and had a patio set. The price also includes a breakfast bar which was a great added bonus. We had a fun visit to Old Mesilla the land of "Billy the Kid" and had a great dinner at La Posta (you get a lot of food!!!) Hacienda RV is a very nice park with xeriscaped gravel sites that are well cared for. We would prefer to see the sites covered in a larger gravel or rock so that the small gravel does not get in your shoes and follow you into your rv. The facilities very nice but was missing a pool. Perfect place, we stayed for a one nighter on the way back to Texas. Everything was extremely well kept on our stay. Bathrooms and showers were beyond hotel room quality clean. Showers have great water flow, and private, like at a hotel. Nice hotub and workout room. There's a little wire divider fence between sites with vines and shurbs growing for privacy, nice touch. They have a very long enclosed dog run at the back of the park which she enjoyed very much. They also had a Margarita night with excellent Margaritas. In addition, they can put you in touch with a detailing service that comes to your unit and cleans it and your tow vehicle. They did an excellent job. Would definitely stay here again. My husband and I came to Hacienda RV Resort primarily for an overnight stay. It is convenient to the I10, and we were on our way to Santa Fe. We were very pleasantly surprised. There is Freeway noise near in the front area, but we were in the back and were not bothered by it. The park is very clean and it is nice to be escorted to your site. The side by side parking was not a problem since your coach does not face the same direction as your neighbor. The dog walk is large and clean. We loved the breakfast every day as it meant no dirty pots or pans in the RV. The dining area was very nice and clean. It is small, but if there are several patrons eating at the same time, there is an overflow room that is also used for rally gatherings. Breakfast is included in the price of your stay. The lobby was very beautifully decorated and pleasant to sit in and relax by the fireplace and listen to music. There is also a fireplace and more seating in an outside patio. There is no pool, but there is a jacuzzi. The folks in the office were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. They offer a complimentary newspaper every day along with chocolate chip cookies and a Salsa sampler. They also host a "Margarita Night" every Friday evening, also complimentary. We stayed here in a 40ft Motorhome and will definitely stay here again should our travels bring us down the I10 again. We also enjoyed the nearby historic and quaint town of Mesilla which is only about 2 miles from the Resort. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park with all the conveniences. We were escorted to our site after a pretty quick check-in. The only reason this did not get a 10 is because many of the sites are side by side. However, they are wide enough slides from both coaches can be out and there is still room enough to walk. They are gravel with only the end ones having any grass. There are no tables or pads. The laundry room, restrooms, showers and exercise room are all locked and require a key card to get in. Everything is very clean. The dog run is enclosed and long. Although we don't have a dog with us, it looks like a nice one. The Internet connected quickly, but was slow at times loading pages. It is close to attractions in the area. Following their directions made it a little difficult to get from the far right lane off the Interstate to the far left lane immediately. After that, there was no problem. We would stay here again. It’s been our experience that when motor coaches dominate the park, you’re not likely to be disappointed. Most diesel pushers are retired full timers and know the best places to stay, this was no exception. Paved streets, with curbs and lighting, and perfectly level pea gravel sites. What impressed me most is that as each guest left, their site was raked out as though it were an infield at a ball park. I wouldn’t recommend this place to family campers, but as an old geezer, it’s a five star. Our three day stay included St. Patrick’s Day. In their lounge, we enjoyed an excellent $ 6.00, all you can eat, corn beef and cabbage dinner, met some nice folks, and added this to our top ten campgrounds. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice place. The rates vary on the type of site. A previous poster indicated a much higher rate. That was for a premium, oversized lot. The "regular" lots are very large and I don't see the need for the larger ones. We had a real problem this visit. A couple of water connections inside the coach ruptured. When going to the office to inquire about the water pressure, the staff was very rude and said that the pressure was high and that we should have used a regulator. We said that they should have told the customer prior to hooking up, they did not care. Just repeated that regulators should be used. The low rating is because of the rudeness of the staff. This is one of the nicest parks we have seen! We ended up staying several extra nights. There are a lot of attractions in the area and this is a good place to stay while sightseeing. With so many previous reviews there is not much left to add. It’s all been said. The park was immaculate, and the side by side hook ups did not bother us. The individual men’s and ladies’ bathrooms are nice. We were glad the Wi-Fi is now free (I think we had to pay for it the last time we were there), and it was strong and fast. The park is just down the street from Old Mesilla which is a great area to browse, shop, and eat. There are numerous restaurants and a Super Wal-Mart near by. This is a great place, and we will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is turning out to be one of our favorite campgrounds off I-10. They have a friendly staff who will escort you to your site and help you get hooked up. We had a long pull-thru where we could keep our tow connected. Breakfast served in the mornings. Laundry had lots of machines and was very clean. We parked here 2 nights in January of 2008. Extremely friendly staff, easy access to I-10, and close to La Mesilla shopping/dining area, Wal Mart, and grocery store. Packed gravel sites were level, very clean and freshly swept after each departure. We were guided to our site by an escort upon check-in. Free breakfast was provided in clubhouse each morning. Our only complaint was that the hose connections were frozen due to temps in the mid-teens. We could not fill up with fresh water on the day of departure. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The rate reflects the weekly rate with tax for a large pull thru site. Very nice park--super patio and lodge good hot tub, good WiFi, cable TV, very nice laundry, and clean restrooms. Nice breakfast. The sites are cleaned every time someone checkout. Only comments we can offer on the negative side are the pea gravel sites, some concrete patios would be in order for a resort of this kind. Not much for kids if you are taking kids along, no playground no picnic tables, no pool but a lot of other upscale offerings. We stayed a week and enjoyed the resort, we would stay again. We have stayed here many times. This is the best urban RV park in NM and one of the nicest ones we have stayed in our years of RVing. I wish that Albuquerque and Santa Fe each had an RV park of this caliber. Friendly, easy check-in, nice sites, great dog run. Beautiful clubhouse. Staff are constantly working to maintain the park. We've always enjoyed staying here; however, at $40 a night at the discount rate I'm not sure it's worth it. A great place, with free WiFi and continental breakfast, but also with a great deal of I-10 road noise and sites without picnic tables or shade. By the handout included with your receipt, it looks like they're trying to lease sites and become more of a snowbird destination. Very nice park. You are escorted to a cleanly swept site with convenient hook-ups. Staff good and helpful. The main office rivals a 4-star hotel. Part was built in 2001 so everything was basically new. Good paved interior roads. You are parked in an alternate (front/rear) pattern with hook-ups in the center of the 2-space area, so your door opens unto a concrete pad with table and nice landscaping. This is a classy park. We have been here several times, but this time we had a problem. We made a reservation 2 weeks in advance and had our mail sent here. When we arrived at our set time we were told that we did not have a reservation and our reservation that we made had been cancelled. We were able to get a site but not an extra long one and our mail was sent back to our mailing address. We never cancelled but whoever took our reservation must have put down the wrong dates. This is a great park. The office folks are very helpful. The sites are long, but not real wide. Only thing I would add is a picnic table at the site. We were very impressed by this park. The club house had the showers, laundry, a spa, pool, fitness room, gift shop, and kitchen for breakfast. Loved the free breakfast and newspaper. Liked how it is arranged with two sites per spot with privacy dividers on each side. Liked the plants that they had on the dividers. Since it was not full, they put only one camper between the dividers. I really liked the dog walk. It is very large and fenced so you can let your dog run free. We stayed here in a 32' trailer. Stayed here Sunday of Labor Day and again the following Sunday. Will stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Great Park! We stayed here twice on our cross country journey - first night out and then last night out (returning to Phoenix). Easy to get to off the I-10. Sites are some of the best we have seen - very level and the connections seem newer. We arrived late both times, but had called ahead for reservations (seemingly not needed this time of year as both times the park was not very full) and we had a packet waiting for us with directions to the site. Only complaint (if you want to call it one) is that they did not have the full breakfast or newspapers their site said they would have. It was explained to me that was because it is the "off season" for the park. No big deal, we just made sure we had breakfast stuff the second time we stayed here. Highly recommend the place. Enjoyed a very nice Memorial Day weekend at Hacienda. Resort is very well kept with paved streets and gravel spots. Excellent dog run. No pool but very nice spa. Wi-Fi is now free and worked very well for us. Office indicated they had a new antenna up and it was working much better than before. 113 sites but only 25 picnic tables. If you really need one they will move one over for you if available. Rate of $24 is not a Passport America rate as indicated by a previous report, it is the summer rate because the free breakfast, newspaper, and the Friday night Margarita parties are not available during the off season. Very close to Old Town (Mesilla). As a side note, I would highly recommend La Posta for an excellent meal at a reasonable price. Found it to be better than Double Eagle and much easier on the wallet. Close to I-10 so try to get a spot in the back section by the dog run. End spots are also most desirable: we were in 156 and it accommodated our 40 foot MH and truck with no problems. Will definitely revisit. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very Nice RV park and excellent location. From here we drove out to White Sands National Park during the day and then to the Mesilla district for some New Mexican dining. It has all the amenities one could want on a two-week long trip, including laundry facilities. You can even get your rig washed on site by one of their contractors. In a word -- the park is very nice. Almost resort quality (missing a pool; had hot tub only). Great little club house, complimentary breakfast was perfunctory, polite staff, clean facilities, paved streets, and even some dog runs. BUT -- the wierd gravel sites are dusty when dry and muddy when wet -- almost just dirt really. We think they could have done better to have graveled the sites with smooth, pebble, river gravel that is much kinder, cleaner, and drains very well. Otherwise, we liked the park ("Resort" is stretching it a bit) and would return for overnights of a day or two at most. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is our second visit to this park. It is outstanding and so enjoyable. I don't think it is too expensive. I have paid a lot more for a park of a much lower standard. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating and escort you to your site. Sites are very nice, roomy, level, landscaped, and big-rig friendly. There are many amenities such as a free continental breakfast, daily newspaper, daily curbside trash pickup, etc. The park is very well kept and the staff are always out there keeping it clean. Great dog walk and convenient location. There is some noise from the freeway but it is not overbearing. The WiFi was $3.95 per day but worked very well. The only reason I did not give the park a 10 is that most of the sites are side-by-side hookups so you are close to your neighbor on one side (but high, privacy fence on the other side) and there are no picnic tables but I would give it a 9.5. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We had to take our motorhome next door to the RV dealer for an oil change and service and wanted to go to White Sands for the day. Visited park in 40' motorhome. Park is very clean & modern. Beautifully landscaped and big rig friendly. Park will accommodate any size coach with any number of slides. Most sites pull through that are long enough to keep towed vehicle hooked up. All roads are paved and sites are gravel and wide. Staff was friendly and listed spa as an amenity. When we went to use the spa it was closed for repair. They provide free newspaper and delicious breakfast bar. Grounds are kept like a nice hotel. Okay, so this is clearly the finest RV park in the greater Las Cruces area but it does not deserve the highest grade. The park is clean and well appointed and the clubhouse rivals those of the finest resorts anywhere. Sites are roomy and adjoining sites are opposed so you never see your neighbor's sanitation connections. But the park is right alongside I-10 with no buffers so the sound of traffic is constant. The sites are gravel instead of concrete with no patios and no picnic tables. There is no swimming pool, cable reception is poor and free wi-fi is not offered. After a long day's journey in the New Mexico heat, a swim in the pool would be nice. There's no excuse for weak cable reception and wi-fi is just as important as water and electric to today's RVer; it should be included in your rental fees. So yes, this is a beautiful resort and you wont be disappointed staying here but I reserve a "ten" rating for parks that are truly deserving. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a very nice park. They had a free USA Today, cookies, and a breakfast bar in the morning. The dog run was nice enough - better than most we have used. The reason I did not give them a 10 is that the WiFi was a little expensive, and I think WiFi is like the pool, dog run, or lounge/TV area and should be part of the free amenities at an upscale park. The only reason I did not give this RV park a 10 is that I think the sites could have included a picnic table and a little more landscaping but this is the desert. Between every two sites is a privacy fence with bushes and vines. Every two sites are side-by-side hookup sites which means that you are very near your neighbor. There are deluxe separate hookups for each sites and the sites are very clean, well kept, and large. The dog walk was the best. The staff were very courteous and helpful. You were escourted to your site. The clubhouse was very nicely done. There were many thoughtful amenities such as breakfast, a large whirlpool, workout rooms, a very nice sitting area with large screen TV, etc. This would be a great place to spend an extended stay. The park was suited for large rigs and very thoughtfully designed. There were reasonable park rules but you did not feel that you were being scrutinized or in a Nazi camp. The park is very conveniently located to shopping, Walmart, Historic La Mesilla, and near RV service shops if you needed work done on your rig. This was one of the nicest maintained parks that I have ever frequented especially for New Mexico and will definitely recommend it and will return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very well maintained RV park that is very convenient to I-10 and I-25. Access is very easy due to the wide access roads. It is very close to a large shopping area (Wal-Mart, grocery store, restaurants, bank, etc.) and only about a mile from historic Mesilla and its beautiful plaza, cafes, and shops. It is also very close to the NMSU campus. The interior roads are very wide with curbs. All sites are gravel and are clean and raked after each camper leaves. The perimeter sites are back-ins with privacy fences/foliage between them. The pull-throughs are back-to-back with privacy fences/foliage between them. The office/clubhouse is beautiful with a spa, patio and outdoor fireplace. The showers and laundry rooms are spotless. The staff was very friendly and helpful with one of the owner/operators on site. They have a hotel style complimentary breakfast and newspaper each morning. A Margarita Party each Friday night is a great way to meet other RVers. The Wi-Fi is Coach Connect and worked great. This campground presents like an upscale resort. The roads are all paved, the sites are fine gravel that is neatly groomed after each guest's departure and they are arranged head to toe (or back to back) so that you are not facing anyone's hook-ups. In addition, there are fences between every two sites with shrubs and small bushes to help insure privacy. They offer a variety of "perks" like complimentary daily (M-F) USA Today, complimentary breakfast that includes coffee, juice, cereal, toast, waffles, fruit, home-made muffins, hard boiled eggs, etc. , and every Friday night, there is a complimentary Margarita Party with appropriate snacks. In addition, they offer a hot tub, an exercise room, a very nice laundry room, a comfortable lounge and meeting rooms. Finally, the front desk staff, that seem to consist of several local college students, are very, very friendly and helpful with all your questions and requests for assistance. On the down side is the management headed up by a woman who rarely smiles, walks around with her head in the air, and seems to be a control freak on a power trip. Two work-camper couples that were very nice left early while we were there. One couple was terminated because of a negative encounter with management, the other couple quit! The assistant manager is sometimes friendly, but seems moody and often fails to follow through on things even when he says he will. The sites, although neat, are dusty when the weather is dry and soft when the weather is wet. The dog walk also gets muddy after each rain and, because it's a storm run-off, it will also fill with several inches of water after a heavy rain. If you like camp fires, they are not allowed. If you like picnic tables, you need to request one and there are only a few to go around. They do not have a pool but will refer you to a competitor if you have your heart set on one. We would probably go back, but they do have some things to work on, especially management's interaction with both guests and staff! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

New park, very nice. One word of warning. On site phones are set up for "first 20 minutes free, 10 cents a minute thereafter." Internet users are able to avoid charges only by logging on and off at 20 minute intervals. We camped here in a camper.

This campground is clean and neat, but is a gravel parking lot, with paved parking strips and sites quite close together. The lots around one edge of the campground provide nice views, especially if you have a large window on the rear of your RV (these are back-in sites). Most visitors appeared to be over night guests, which is probably well suited to this kind of campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is very well groomed, considering it is mostly dirt. Sites are smoothed out by a man using a tractor with a rake behind it. I was amazed seeing him out first thing in the morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sites were large enough to have enough space between them. The pool water was a perfect temperature, and the showers were fine. I would come back again. The staff in the office were very nice and helpful even recommending a local Mexican restaurant "Andele", which was quit good. The park has a nice safe feel and other parks we drove by in Las Cruces not so much. Coming in from I-10 it's a right turn at the bottom of a fairly steep hill, then up a fairly steep hill into the park. The whole park is dirt and gravel. they try to keep it raked and pretty but the dust gets on everything. Cable was good with 70 channels. Wi-Fi was the Tengleo which we didn't use. Verizon and AT&T worked well as could be expected in the city. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I stayed here for 3 days. Campground elevation is 4,060 feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy in the park was no problem. Roads, sites and patio is gravel. Pull through sites hold a 40 foot motorhome towing. My site, #58, offered 30/50 amp service & full hookups. WIFI and cable were included in the daily rate. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless 3G Internet & Cellular service. I received Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome. The campground is pet friendly. Walmart is 6 miles away and a grocery is 5 miles away. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. This KOA has tiered narrow sites. My patio could not have been over 6 foot wide. If I extended my awning half of it would be over the next site. This visit is my fourth in the same number of years. This is an ok campground with great views of Las Cruces. I will probably return here again because of it,s location. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I liked this campground. It was very neat and clean, and the workers were very friendly. The majority of the park is gravel, which they rake and water each day. The sites have concrete "runners" for the wheels of your rig, and our site was very level. The park is easy to get to from the interstate, but is far enough away that you don't hear highway noise. The view of the city lights at night from the park mesa is very nice. The cable TV was nice, as our satellite dome was blocked by a tree. As mentioned in previous reviews, the sites are a bit close together, but it was fine for an overnight stay. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The biggest problem with this park is the narrow sites. We had less than 4 feet before we were on the neighbor's site. Sites are terraced with about 18 inches of elevation drop between sites. Sites had concrete parking strips for each wheel, but you have to be sure to get parked on those or you won't be level. The staff was helpful. The view of Las Cruces is nice. The park is 4-5 miles from the center of town but is close to I-10 and also on a major road into town. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautiful view of Las Cruces and valley. Some of their sites face forward making the view even better. Sites well groomed and extremely clean. They have cement pads with small gravel which they rake between guests which is a nice touch. We were both very impressed with the way this older KOA was maintained. We have stayed here three times now, as we love the location. Gorgeous views of the Organ Pipe mountains and the town of Las Cruces. The view sites allow you to back in or pull in forward to maximize your view experience, and were long enough for our motor home and trailer. There are also long pull throughs available in the middle of the park. The pool has never been open during our March/April visits but the access from the highway is easy, yet far enough away so that you cannot hear it. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for an overnight stay on our way to Carlsbad, NM. The campground is very clean and well maintained. They have a nice playground that our kids enjoyed. The view sites looked pretty nice. They have a nice little store that sells souvenirs, grocery items and even had stamps. I used the laundry and it was very clean. All of the staff was very courteous and helpful. They have a pool, but it was closed for refurbishment. We would stay here again, easy on and off the highway, but not so close that you hear it all night. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Clean campground in quiet location off highway on a hill overlooking the city. Roads and sites are gravel with two cement strips running the length of the sites for the RV wheels to rest on. The gravel is raked to perfection every day but can be a bit dusty. There are a few trees in the park, but most sites appear to be unshaded. Pull-through sites are very narrow on the hillside with no patio space or picnic table and just enough room to squeeze in a small table to put your BBQ on beside the RV, but not much room for chairs. Easy to maneuver a big rig in/out of site and park. Free Tengo Wi-Fi passwords were happily given to us to accommodate both of our computers. Friendly staff and good service. Fairly large fenced dog run, but it is deep sand and the dogs kick up a lot of dust in it. There is a fairly quiet side road the park is located on that is okay for walking them on. Washrooms/showers/laundry room all clean and well maintained. The pool was closed, presumably for the season. This was a good park to spend a couple of days while we explored the area but would not be a destination park for us. Price reflects the 10% KOA Kamper discount on a pull-through 50-amp, cable, Wi-Fi site. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The camp is clean and well-maintained and in a quiet location. Cons: Narrow and short pull-through sites, windy, dusty, no park activities. The park is several miles outside of town so be prepared for a 10 mile drive or more for any activities. Staff I encountered were impersonal and not too helpful. Wow! We were in view site #12 which was long and wide with plenty of room to sit outside. Our site included WiFi and cable TV. We found this a very clean and extremely well maintained RV park. Best of all, was the fabulous views of the mountains, Las Cruces and the Mesilla Valley. The views at sunset and in the evenings were stunning. We sat in the gazebo which was right next to our site and could see all the lights in Las Cruces and the surrounding valley. Although we paid a little extra for a view site, we would highly recommend them, they are worth a few extra dollars. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park has glorious views of the surrounding mountains and the Mesilla Valley. We enjoyed drinks in the evening sitting in the gazebo while gazing at the city lights. There was a nice cool breeze blowing, too. We had one of the view sites and it was very spacious. There is easy access from I-10 and it is quieter than some parks that are located closer to I-10. Easy access from and to I-10, yet the park is very quiet. The staff and fellow campers were very cordial. The site had an absolutely stunning view of the city and mountains. The major drawback was how narrow these sites are. Length for our 40ft MH was fine, but, width was another story. We could extend slides and pull down window awnings, but patio awnings were out of the question. Wifi was strong and "free", but required a log-in with every session. The price listed reflects KOA discount, so this place isn't cheap. That said, we'll keep it on our list of places to stop when passing through the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I agree with others that this is an easy park to get into (1.4 miles from I-10) and very clean. Staff was friendly and thoroughly explained all of the features of the park. Although we usually avoid KOA parks, this is a great place to stay. Everything about the park is immaculate and the staff is so helpful. The sites are narrow--we could put out the slides but couldn't fully extend the awning. No picnic tables. But we had an excellent Verizon broadband signal and they offered one day free Wi-Fi from Tengo. We had a pretty good Sprint cell phone signal. We would definitely come here again. This KOA is easy accessible for Big Rigs. We are 45 ft plus towing vehicle. The park is clean and well kept up. Expensive for what you get: typical KOA. Initially told price was $50. But after suggesting that we would go elsewhere, they reduced the price to $42 (with tax). Dirt/gravel spaces = dusty. Most sites were close together. A couple sites seem to have a view, but most of the “view” sites overlook the roofs of houses. Trees at many sites need trimming to be “Big Rig” friendly. On the positive side, no Interstate traffic noise. Good reception for both AT&T cell and Verizon wireless mobile broadband. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is one of the better KOA parks we have been to. Although most KOA's are comfortable and clean, this one goes above and beyond. We were in one of the “view” site and wow, what a view. Calling it a “view site” doesn’t do it justice. The sites overlook the entire Las Cruces area with incredible sunrise photo opportunities available. At night, the lights from the city and I-10 twinkle and create quite a lovely scene. The sites were roomy and the staff was very friendly. The Internet was free but it was Tengo … definitely not my favorite, but certainly better than nothing. My only complaint was the cost of the laundry … much higher than any other we have come across in our 3 months of traveling. That said, we would highly recommend this park and will stay here again. Price reflects the KOA card discount. Is the nicest KOA we have ever stayed in! The park sits about two miles from town but has easy, highway access. This is a very nice campground with wide gravel roads and level concrete tire strips to park on. The sites are wide, level, electric was strong, good water pressure, excellent cable TV and we got strong FREE Wi-Fi (Tengonet). They have a small but nice dog run, pool which was closed, and a small store. This park sits on the hill overlooking Las Cruces, the mountains in the distance and is super quiet. It is well maintained and they re-level the gravel and clean each site after someone leaves. There are some trees and grass for tent campers. We had no picnic table and all gravel inside the park, hence the 9 rating. Would definitely stay here again. Great for an overnight or a visit to the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice folks, lovely view, much quieter up here than the other RV Parks in Las Cruces that are right on the interstate. (This is only a mile off I-10, but pretty quiet.) We used the laundry facilities, dog walk and fenced dog run, and restrooms--all were in good shape. It's clear that these folks have pride of ownership. We'll stay here again, but we'll try to get one of the view sites or at least a site with a picnic table. As an over nighter without an advance reservation, we were in a middle section without much space between units and no table to enjoy the perfect weather. OH--and the sites are almost PERFECTLY level--that's a first in our experience. We camped here in a Motorhome.

My husband, myself, and our 2 cats and 2 dogs are very glad for this KOA. The other reviewers are right - the view sites here are wonderful!! I like to take photos, and the scene of the city and the rugged mountains behind it is pretty spectacular. They had hook-ups on both sides, so we could just pull right in. The spaces and lanes are all wide enough. There is pea gravel (which unfortunately gets stuck in your shoe treads and brought inside), which they actually rake daily! Keeps things looking very tidy. There is fenced dog yard - not big, but big enough. We just ate at La Posta in Old Mesilla area - good food. We probably won't plan on spending much more time in Las Cruces at any point, but if we pass through again, we will certainly plan to stay at this KOA! We camped here in a Motorhome.

When we arrived, the ladies at the desk were very friendly and even offered us homemade cupcakes. The park was easy to navigate with our 40' motorhome. The site is gravel with two concrete strips for your tires. The site is long, but narrow, as our slide almost touched the slide next to us. The park is very clean and well-kept. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy in and easy out for big rigs. Wide driving lanes. Located on a hill, many sites have a beautiful view of mountains and the city below. At night, the city lights are beautiful. The gravel is raked throughout the campground with concrete pads for camper tires to rest on. Very good Wi-Fi. Very clean campground. Tile bathrooms are spotless and shower stalls are well designed for usefulness. Complimentary toiletries in the women’s bathroom. The night we were here: the 69 channels of cable TV were snowy, black and white. Clean and well-maintained playground with a nice variety of play equipment: one of the best playgrounds we have seen. There is a nice swimming pool. Trash dumpster is concealed behind a six-foot privacy fence. We saw no typical campground junk or maintenance equipment anywhere. There is much to like about this campground. The only negative is that sites are close together. Depending on where neighboring slideouts are situated, some slideouts may be within approximately six feet of each other. When the campground is not full, the staff will assign campers to every other site to permit more space between rigs. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Reasonable park, but could do with a picnic tables and a bit more space between sites. As mentioned its all gravel, but was well tended and to be fair, its the same with a lot of sites in desert areas. The only downside to our stay was the first time I drove into the site after we'd set up. I made the mistake of using the same route as I'd been shown to go with the trailer to make it an easier entry, rather than the direct route. For this simple mistake I was shouted at quite rudely by one of the staff, even after I'd apologized. In the end I drove off and left him ranting. For this alone we'll try somewhere else next time through. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

There was absolutely no shade what so ever. The premium sites were a bit more expensive however it allowed you the use of a picnic table. Picnic tables are not allowed to be moved. If your site is not equipped with one so be it. The pool was shut down for a whole day. In 100+ degrees this is a no no. The staff was mediocre at best for customer service. A nice KOA and well maintained. We stayed in a view site which looks out on the city lights. Very nice at night. The sites and roads are all small gravel. A patio pad would have made this park a 9. Nice laundry facilities. There are some residences just below the park boundary, some are run down trailers. One minor irritation of mine, my site, #16, has the sewer connection too high, about 10" out of the ground. It made hooking up a bit of a challenge. Good KOA over all, I would stay here again. Nice, clean park. The area is all gravel and is raked daily and looks very good. We stayed in the 50 amp pull through sites which have cement strips for the tires. Unfortunately the cement was not wide enough for our jacks so the jacks were on the gravel. We had a view of the city and mountains without being on the front row. The KOA in Las Cruces is a very clean, well kept campground; it was a real pleasure to stay there. As there were some empty spaces, we were given the choice of a pull through site or one with a view of the city below and we took the "site with the view" which was wonderful. People at the desk were efficient and friendly. We'd definitely stay there again! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Even though we booked three days prior to our arrival by phone, the park couldn't find our reservation. It is a nice quiet park with a fantastic view of the Organ Mountains and Las Cruces below. The staff did ask if we wanted a back-in site that overlooked the city lights but we didn't ask if the sites would cost more, and I figured since it was a back-in site it wouldn't have. Reading the first few reviews the park must charge for the view. We would stay here again but clarify the price policy. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I liked the concrete runners for the wheels of the trailer, and our site was up front but still had the view of the town below. The grounds are desert gravel but were groomed with a tractor and rake. Everything was clean and neat, but on the night we were there the wind was on a rampage. It rocked the trailer for much of the night. Beyond the campgrounds control, but a complication from being on the top of the bluff overlooking the town below. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Full-time RVer for 20 years. Cleanest, friendliest KOA I have ever stayed at (and I have stayed at many throughout the country). Sure, this park has rules (what good RV park doesn't) but all rules are very reasonable (speed limit-10 MPH (children), dogs on leash, pick up after pet, etc.) I have a dog and I received a letter just like everyone else encouraging clean up. I was not insulted, why should I be, I was not the offending party! Dog owners should take responsibility for their actions and stop whining! Would stay here again for sure. This RV park is on a bluff overlooking, to the east, the city of Las Cruces and the beautiful mountains behind it. We stayed at the 40'x90' Super Site. It was very nice in that we had our own gas grille and a patio table and rocker type chairs. We thought the site was overpriced in that we paid for the most expensive site in the park, and had a lesser view than the next two price levels below us, a total of 15 sites total that had much better views. This should be made clearer on the site. We also had the "dog walk" directly behind us, so that we had people walking their dogs behind us all day. We have dogs, so we did not dislike it, but again, should this not be removed from the "best lot in the park"? The staff and owners were nice and very helpful. The park was very well maintained. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is run like a strict business so if you are looking for friendly, warm hospitality go elsewhere. We were accused of not picking up after our dog. We are aware of the rules and did not break them but received a letter taped to our door saying we would be charged $25.00 for any dog poop not picked up?? Please...We also were charged the higher winter rate in July. The office manager was very rude and was always yelling at someone on the phone every time I was in the office. When we were pulling out we waved and the owner just looked the other way, tells you the friendly environment. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Pool was great (even had a true "deep" end), playground was typical KOA. There was no hot water due to a gas line break, but they were working on it (or at least they said they were). Las Cruces KOA is convenient from the highway. The sites are narrow. There are several pull thru's that add convenience. All the services are there. However, we did not care for the dust and dirt in the campground there are no paved streets and the wind was howling on the day of our stay. The staff was helpful. They have a pet run that is a joke...dirt and dust. I can't figure out why campground owners think pet owners want to walk their pets in a dirt pet run. This would not be my first choice for an overnight stop. The price seems a little high for the amenities. We camped here in a Motorhome.

One of the best KOA's we have stayed in. VERY CLEAN. Gravel with cement drive pads make the sites incredibly level. Trees provide shade...a rarity in New Mexico campsites. We arrived after closing but had NO problems finding our site...a nice welcome packet was left for us. Beautiful view. We only stayed one night but will make this a definite stop on our next trip based on some people in another site who had nothing but praise, confirming our impressions. This park is on a hillside overlooking Las Cruces and has a beautiful view of the mountains beyond. The site was long enough for our 40 foot Motorhome with Tow but not by much. The staff escorted us to our site, which had concrete runners for the tires of our Motorhome to rest on. The sites are somewhat close together, but not enough to be annoying. The park was a bit dusty but let's face it, New Mexico is dry. I would stay at this park again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We loved this RV park! We had a "front-in" spot that sat high above the city of Las Cruces - what a view! We noticed the staff raked the pebble sites every morning and kept the grounds immaculate. A great pet walk and fenced in "off-leash" area was a nice surprise. Close to food and entertainment. The layout was big-rig friendly. Next time we will stay longer. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very impressed from the moment we pulled in. Up on a hill overlooking Las Cruces. Incredible view. Escorted to our site by a very friendly staff member. Cement sites. Very easy access off I-10 . Park as a whole is very clean and well maintained. Grounds are spotless. We had the largest site in the park , that is why it cost more, had access to gas grill and private table and chairs, but did not get to utilize much because of cold temperatures. This would make a great place to stay for a couple of days, but there are no activities in the park. Laundry room small, but dog walk area, and pet playground was a nice bonus.Excellent views of the valley and mountains. I would stay here again for a couple of days, but no more. This KOA has been recently renovated, and has paved level sites, while the driveways are gravel. It is located out of town up the hill, so the views are great. This is a really nice park located on top of a hill. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Some of the special "view sites" give you a great view out the front window of the motorhome. It is very conveniently located to Las Cruces, Old Mesilla, and local attractions. The only reason I don't give this a better rating is that they advertise free Wifi, but the free internet is only available in or near the office. Tengo is offered for a reasonable fee and works well, but I feel that they should advertise the Wifi accurately. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate includes the Good Sam discount. We thought we'd avoid the overpriced RV park up the street, but instead found another, less comfortable overpriced park. Dusty, short pull-through sites were close together and required disconnecting the tow to clear the entry streets. Poor Wi-Fi, but Verizon cell and data worked well. We were told the rate included a $2 for an extra person (over one occupant) because of a state requirement; apparently due to the water shortage. Had we been aware of the high price, we would have continued on to Deming as there is no park in Las Cruces worth $35+ per night. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was our 1st stop on a long trip back east to trade in our RV on a newer model. CG is right in the Mesila area if you like the allure of the old town & shopping. Pet run is essentially along a canal where 1 of the long termers told me not to bother w/picking up after our pet "just kick some sand over it like we do" hmmmmm. Front desk was very amiable, cute siesta themed site numbers, electric OK, cable OK, did not use water due to fear of freezing; easy in & out. Originally thought the price a bit high for what we were getting this time of year but other CGs in the area were in the $50-$75 range. We would probably stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate reflected is for monthly stay plus electricity. This is no place for your pets. You can walk your dogs within the park, but the wash just outside the park is full of stickers(steer heads, goat heads, etc). Based on our stay at two other parks in Las Cruces, we feel the owners overcharged us for electricity (based on the cost per kilowatt hour). We will not return to this park. We were very impressed with the customer service during registration. They even loaned us a new car when we had a bit of trouble and would not take any money. The Wi-Fi was the fastest that we had ever seen. The showers were completely remodeled from top to bottom. The park had shade at most of the spaces and gravel everywhere. No grass. They had pet grooming available and RV repair on site (which we needed). Overall they were very professional and helpful. We will always stay there when going through Las Cruces. They advertise big rig sites, well they are not even close to being large enough. We stuck out in both the front and back rows. We had to park our dingy along the fence. The place is all sand/dirt. This rv park is overpriced. Spaces are very narrow and too short. We saw a mid sized 5th wheel had to back out of a pull through space because of tree limbs and tight cornering. It was difficult getting down some rows in just the tow vehicle. They even have spaces along the entry road where you park parallel. There are too many spaces in a very small park, creating congestion. The showers needed a serious cleaning and repair and maintenance. Baseboards are falling off the wall outside of the showers from the constant water saturation. The front desk personnel doing their job, nothing more. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here overnight, didn't even disconnect from our truck. Sites are VERY tight and not long enough. Management was nice and tried to accommodate our length so we didn't have to disconnect by parking us at the back where our truck could extend into the pathway without blocking someone in. Barely had enough room to put our slides out without hitting the little tree and had to move the picnic table. We had a nosy and mean neighbor whom seemed irritated we kept our truck running while trying to fit in the tight spot. Cable TV was a joke: every channel came in snowy. This park is an easy on/off the freeway, and we never experienced any road noise while camped there. The owners/managers are very nice and very helpful, giving their guests TV guides, and a delightful book on their park amenities. Although we had free wifi, it did not work for us after the first day. The entire park is lots of small gravel and dirt, and although the spaces are all pull-throughs, they are a little tight. The laundry room needed some updating and the dryers did a very poor job getting clothes dry. The washers and dryers are both $1.00 per load. This is a great park for an overnight stay, however, it is a little stark for anything longer. We would stay here again if overnight only. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Owner very friendly and provided a lot of useful info about Las Cruces. He also provided the name of an excellent repair service that came to the site. And, on the plus side, there are shade trees and a huge area next to the park for walking the dogs. The whole park is gravel which is a definite drawback. We had to contend with a lot of dust and gravel being tracked in the rig. And despite the great area for walking the dogs, it is infested with cockleburs which got in their paws. When we called our original choice of RV parks for Las Cruces and learned they no longer had Passport American or Camp Club USA discounts and their rate was higher than we wished to pay, we contacted Siesta RV via phone to ask about the availability of a site and their rate (which was more acceptable than the first park). The owners were very pleasant and helpful, providing us with directions to the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Museum. The free Wi-Fi was a special bonus. The owners live on-site and advised that they were available even after the office closed. We would stay here again if in the area. While not the newest or the biggest park around we would definitely stay here again. At $28 a night it did seem a little overpriced, but was in line with the going rate at other RV parks in Las Cruces. It is not so much the price (within reason) or the amenities that matters the most to us when we rate a park, but how we are treated by the owners, manager and staff. Upon registering here we were given a free newspaper full of information on sites to see and things to do in the area and the friendly and knowledgeable owners invited us to just let them know if we had any questions about any other local destinations or where to get groceries or whatever. WiFi reception was excellent. Although there were quite a few seasonal or full-time residents in the park, it was overall well-maintained. The owners live right in the park. The park is small and the spaces are a little tight to get into. We had to park our toad cross-wise behind the rig to avoid being out in the road. There are nice mature trees and the park is in a quiet location. The close proximity of the park to the historic old town of Mesilla with its shops, restaurants, and Mexican-style town plaza is also a plus. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Friendly owners & staff in a fairly quiet park with mature trees; cable included and easy I-10 access. Many permanent residents in a compact park, and facilities show alot of wear & tear. Extremely short, tight sites and very narrow roads, not well-suited for lengthy rigs or slide-outs. Our 29 ft trailer took up entire length of their pull-thru site, un-hitching was a must. With no room for parking tow vehicles or toad's, being blocked in, or out of, your site is likely. Not a terrible place, but inconvenient for over-night stops, and over-priced for condition & size. Very nice park with lots of room for the trailers. A lot of the sites have shade with a cement pad and a picnic table. If you are coming here, ask for one of these. They are back-in sites but are worth it. Great location for seeing Las Cruces. Very quiet park. The host was very nice. Big wide roads between the sites. The only thing that was an issue was walking the dogs. They did not have anyplace that was specifically for the dogs. You can drive down the road a few miles and walk along the river or along one of the many irrigation ditches. The internet access was great. The cable TV was great. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This small park is located in a city neighborhood with both a supermarket and dollar store within easy walking distance. The sites are large, gravel, and level. We did not not need to unhitch for our short stay. The park is pet friendly, but there is no dog run. Everything is well maintained. We'll definitely stay there the next time we're in the area. We really enjoyed this park. It's quiet, the interior roads are wide, so you can get around easily with your rig. The sites are big, with grass and level gravel. The laundry room was clean and everything worked. The showers and bathhouse were very clean and well cared for. Lastly, the office people and residents were very nice. This is not a fancy place, but everything is well cared for and the sites are well maintained. We stayed here for a week in our motorhome and will do so again. There are other, fancier places, in Las Cruces, There is a train that goes by but not often and there is no highway noise which we suffered through in a more expensive RV Park near by. This is a real good RV park in this area. All of the hookups were more than adequate. The Wi-Fi is great from site #6. The site is level with a gravel surface. The access roads are a bit dusty. The manager was both friendly and helpful. They have free coffee and donuts on Saturday morning. There is recycling in the park. We will stay here in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice park, easy access. Interior roads are wide and gravel. Sites are spacious and easy to get in to, fairly level. The restrooms and laundry are clean and nice. Their Wi-Fi was very slow and mostly unusable, our site was the furthest from the office. Our Verizon air card worked good. Excellent selection of Cable TV channels. We ate an excellent meal at La Posta Mexican Restaurant in Old Town Mesilla, just a short drive. We enjoyed our stay and would return if in the area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Rate is based on weekly rates. The lady who checked us in was very nice and efficient. The sights are wide enough and though they are gravel, we leveled easily. Wi-Fi was so-so when it worked. No amenities this time of year. It was a bit dusty. There was a dog that barked all night long every night. As soon as the sun came up he shut up. Afraid of the dark? Staying here for about 5 weeks early summer. It's hot, but I have a well shaded site that mitigates the summer heat. Park is immaculate and service is excellent. Lots are BIG, 40 x 60+, level and utilities well located. Wi-Fi is good and reliable, at least from my site. That is important because I'm here on business and working long days. And working more at night. Park is 55 limited and quiet. Other campers in the park are genuinely friendly and always say Hi or wave. We stayed here for a week in April. We found this park very easy to get in and out of. The parking spaces are slightly angled with plenty of room between sites. Sites vary with some having shade trees, grass and picnic tables. They have very clean restrooms and laundry facilities. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Good water pressure, stable power, and the sewer connections are properly graded to the ground level. Although I was a short distance from the office and had a good WiFi connection, I had trouble getting my web browser up and running and found the internet connection rather slow. Verizon signal was strong here and our Air Card worked just fine. We enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay here again. This park is in a great location for the City of Las Cruces being very handy to shopping and dining. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

It is a very nice and clean park. You will spend most of the time fighting with the wi-fi, than actually using your computer. There were only 4 washers and dryers and 1 washer was always breaking down. They also did not have a pet walking area. I had a hard time walking my pets due to a lack of places to do so. The streets were not paved and for some reason i was sick most of my stayed due to all the dust. I will not stay again. I like more freedom for my pets in a park and i felt that this one did not have it. I stayed here for 5 month while my husband worked in a project. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate is based on monthly stay, including metered electric. This is a nice park run by nice people. As noted by others, the streets are very wide. Excellent for a one-night stay because of the abundant pull-throughs around the perimeter. But they are all gravel, so unless you really don't want to unhook the toad, choose one of the back-in sites, which are mostly roomy, with shade and grass. The park is convenient to everything. Walmart is less than two miles, and nothing is more than 12 minutes away. If you come in the summer, be prepared to run the A/C all day; it was 100+ almost every day in June. The humidity is very low, so it's almost tolerable. My only complaints are the gravel roads are very dusty, and a car washing is good for about a day, and the WiFi is better in some sites than others. Three days after we arrived, we were asked to move because we were accidentally put in a site that couldn't be properly metered. It was an honest mistake, and they were very nice about it. I mention it because they made a very fair price adjustment as a result. While we were there, the clubhouse was being expanded and rebuilt. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The pull through sites are definitely long enough to allow you to stay hooked up if towing, with an easy in and out of the sites. This was previously a mobile home park allowing for the wide, long sites which are now RV sites. The sites are all desert dirt with a cement patio and a picnic table. We stayed here two nights in a 40' 4-slide DP. This is a great park for a big rig. We chose a pull-through site in the back section of the park with no trees in order to have satellite service. Back-in sites were very nice with shade trees. Host was friendly and helpful; explained that there were problems with wi-fi and cable on pull-through sites and offered us a nice back-in site but we chose a pull-through for our purposes. Site was gravel with grass and pretty shrubs. Interior gravel roads are extremely wide so no problem for a big rig. Our price reflects the 50% off Passport America or Escapees discount. Excellent value for us for this site. Convenient location for day trips in Las Cruces and nearby Missile Range and White Sands National Monument. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park is awesome in that the spaces and roads are extremely wide.Plenty of room to open our 3 slides, lots of mature shade trees. Small laundromat, only about 5 washers and 4 dryers, one of which was broken. Quiet, not much road noise. Local barking dogs heard periodically, usually at night. Each space has a small patch of grass and picnic table. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. Only negative incident was when a sewer line problem arose, and they had to work on it. They never advised us of it and nasty water was coming out of our toilet and faucets resulting in our having to drain our water tank and hot water heater. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great park for an overnight or longer stay if you like. The roads and sites are hard packed small gravel. This my first time every to see roads this wide. They look like you could land an airplane on the roads in park. Sites were deep, wide, level, had a cement pad, table, 50 amp, water, sewer, cable TV with lots of channels and free Wi-Fi that worked well on your site. Park had back-in and pull-thru sites to pick from. Trees and dark green lawns plus lots of space from site to site. Our site was covered with large trees and we had little sun on motorhome. Lots of sites here have large trees. This is odd for NM plus very little dust in park. No tents here. The bathhouse was a unisex set up with everything in one room. Verizon cell and air card working well here. Wal-Mart super store about one mile from here. Lots of good places to eat near by as well. Staff was great at check in and helped me find anything that I ask for. A solid 10 park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is conveniently located within the city of Las Cruces. It was formerly a trailer park but has been converted to an RV park. There are only about three, single-wide trailers left. Most people who stay here are snowbirds. There are some folks who live here long-term. The park is well kept. The roads are gravel and very wide, making it very easy to back-in. There are some pull-through sites for overnight stays. Sites are gravel, some have cement pads and most have a picnic table. Although the park mentions a clubhouse, it really is just a small trailer with a couple of tables and a book exchange with outdated books. There is a small, clean laundry room and 4 individual rooms each with a shower and toilet. Verizon cell phone and Wi-Fi works well. Did not use the park’s Wi-Fi. The train tracks are about 1 or 2 miles away. There is some train noise but it is not that bad. There is a nearby fire department and you’ll hear sirens more than you’ll hear train whistles. Other than that, the place is quiet at night. A Save-Mart grocery store is within walking distance, a BBQ restaurant is across the street and Wal-Mart is less then a mile away. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Staff are really nice people. Washrooms/showers are the best we've seen yet. Clean, warm, and very well maintained. Handy to access the town. Visitor sites are at the back of the park, backing onto a warehouse, but noise was minimal. Visitor sites are sparse. Ours had no picnic table, nor even room for one. Definitely no room for outdoor living. We had to dodge a hydro pole on our site, which further reduced our space. The worst though, was the mud. After a light snow melted, the thin layer of fine gravel did little to keep my shoes from sinking into the red mud below all around our coach, and along the road to the main building. Bottom line, an OK "park and fly" stop, provided the weather is dry. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for an overnight. Rate reflects Passport America discount. Roads are extra wide and sites long and spacious. Most sites have trees around them and many have grass which our dogs loved! Park is a short distance from the freeway but access streets were easy to navigate. Was quiet and peaceful in the park. Staff was very helpful and friendly. From our view this is the best park in Las Cruces. We have stayed at a much more expensive park and definitely not worth the extra cost. It is a fairly quiet, fairly dark park. This RV park is located within the city of Las Cruces, not far from highway 70. The park's street sign is hard to read from the road. The access roads within the park were very wide. All sites were long and level. Many sites had grassy areas or concrete patios. All utilities were new. The owner lives in the park and is very conscientious about its upkeep. (The gravel was leveled daily while we were there). They keep 20 sites available for overnight RVers; other sites are long-term. Extra shrubbery and trees made this a nice park to stay for several nights. We might consider it as a long-term winter park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is the best campground in the state of New Mexico. We use this as a home base for the southern part of New Mexico and have been a repeat camper here for over 8 years have check all campgrounds that is in this area and this is the best one for this area. Great place to stay! The owners and staff are very pleasant and helpful as were a lot of the permanent party who were our neighbors. As in all my reviews, I rate dog-walking areas. There is plenty of room for that here. Also, there is a grocery store within walking distance of the park that has excellent meats and produce. There are level gravel sites. Both back in and pull through sites; some shade; attractive plantings with trees trimmed up high enough to allow easy access for motorhomes and concrete patios. Watch carefully for the sign as it's easy to miss, but the park itself is adequate. Cable and WiFi are available at no extra charge. We had trouble using the WiFi to begin with, but once we bookmarked the sign-in page, it was fine. The roads and pads are gravel, but our site (66) had a concrete pad. I don't believe all of them did. We also had a free standing carport for our toad. The owners of the park are very friendly. The laundry facilities were small with four washers and four dryers, but was clean and reasonably priced. The rate reflects a Good Sam discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a very nice park. The only reason I wouldn't give it a 10 is because it doesn't have a lot of extras like a pool and activities that a 10 park would have. The spaces were very ample size with plenty of space between them. The sites were gravel with a concrete patio and table. Everything worked. The laundry room was clean and nice. The area is fairly protected from the wind that NM gets often. There was some dust when a vehicle would go too fast or the wind was really blowing since the main roads in the park are not paved. We stayed here for two months. Check-in was very easy and the staff very helpful. Our space was very large with a beautiful view of The Organ Mountains. The park was extremely clean and well maintained as were the restrooms, laundry room and clubhouse. Everyone we met was very sociable and kind whether they lived here or were here for just the night. Wow! We were very impressed with this park and especially with the great staff! Very nice gravel sites, with concrete pads and tables right next to you with very nice shade trees everywhere! Also plenty of room for a second vehicle if needed. Some sites even had small sheds for longer stays. Good cable TV and Wi-Fi, and the sites are roomy for large rigs if needed. I have stayed here several times for a week at a time. It is rather expensive given the area but the resort alternatives are totally unrealistic for the winter months. But I have family here so this is the best deal I can find. If you come here, be sure to visit "Dripping Springs." White sands Missile Range and White Sands National Park. If you are heading north, visit the "Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum" and buy the $25 "Cultural Pass" there. Iy will give you free access to other State operated museums as you travel through New Mexico ... Since they are about $14 each, you will do well to buy the pass here at your entry to New Mexico. The pass will pay for itself twice if you are stopping at Santa Fe. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park is very nice. The sites are gravel but there is good space between sites and nice shade trees. I gave it a poor rating because the owner is a very angry, nasty, and sometimes downright mean person. He barks order at patrons with pets and rides around on his golf cart yelling at cars if they even seem to be moving at more than a crawl. This was our second visit to this Park. We were unhappy to learn that Passport America is not honored from December to late Spring, since it is their High Season. The front desk person was quite abrupt and we were tired; so paid up, shut up and left the next morning. It's an older park in an industrial neighborhood and is well maintained. We stopped here for the Christmas holiday to see family and friends. What a great park, we stop here every time we come to this area. Owners had a New Mexico style Christmas Eve supper for every one in the park, had luminaries all over the park that glowed all night, what a treat. We stay at this park every year when traveling through Las Cruces. The park is a former mobile home park so the sites are very large and very well shaded. The owners are very friendly and extremely helpful. One time we needed to move a bookcase from a storage unit and the owner helped us move it and transported it with his truck. Big beautiful sites; plenty of space between sites; well treed; well maintained; in-town and readily accessible to all desired amenities. This park was a bit hard to find but worth the effort. It is in town just south of Picacho on Valley, so there are sirens and city noises. The paved access road makes a tough southbound turn off of Valley and needs repair. The very wide interior gravel roads were in good condition. We had a deep, back-in, shaded, graveled site on the north side. Hookups were conveniently placed, and we had a small picnic table at our site. Front desk folks were certainly friendly. This park is a hidden gem, with lots of trees and grass separating the sites and incredibly wide streets that make it a snap to back in, although they have pull thrus as well. They are located near Wal-Mart and close enough to I-10, but far enough away to reduce highway noise. We did hear a lot of sirens, so we think we were close to a fire station, and we also heard a lot of trains, but we have come to expect this at the majority of RV parks. They have free cable TV and Wi-Fi, which worked well even though they warned us it might get a little slow after school let out from the kids jumping on the internet! Note that the nightly rate is based on the monthly charge. We stayed at Sunny Acres for a number of months while I finished a work assignment. This is a very nice park where the owners and staff go out of their way to be helpful. The grounds are kept up nicely, and the bathrooms and showers are immaculate. There is REAL cable TV with 30 or 40 channels, and we've had no problems with the WiFi. The park itself is set back off Valley Drive, so road noise is not a problem. The sites themselves are very large, and most have a concrete pad and grassy area separating one from the next. As you can tell, we really enjoyed our stay here, and we plan on staying at this park whenever we visit the Las Cruces area in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.

True, the speed limit is strictly enforced, however, A. it's his park, he gets to make the rules & B. if your site is along the entry road as ours was, you don't appreciate the dust from speeding vehicles. I don't like speeders in my neighborhood whether I am in an RV or a stick house in a residential area. We branched out to Carlsbad Caverns and Alamagordo from here and had a great time. Great little place that we found accidentally on our way to Texas in December '06, and stopped at again on our way home in January to avoid some nasty weather. The people there couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Sites are large and level, and the roads throughout the park are very wide and accommodating for big rigs with tow vehicles. They have a nice clubhouse with a covered patio. They're in town, but a block back from a main drag so we didn't experience any noise problems. I'd give it a 10 if it had a pool, but we weren't looking for a pool in 30 degree weather, anyway! We'll definitely be stopping in here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

As Fulltimers, this is one of the nicest parks we stay at during the year. Not sure why the negative reviews. We have found the park to be wonderful each time we have come. Sites are shaded and yes, the owners do water their grass and it shows, it's nice and green. The other parks in town are all gravel. The restrooms are spotless and the week that we were here there was never a problem getting in the restrooms. There's nice clubhouse with a large covered porch with tables and chairs. The owners are just wonderful people and will do anything to make your stay a great one. Sites are large with nice concrete patios and nice table. I do not feel it's a bad part of town. Sunny Acres has free internet service that never works, bathrooms that are locked to RVers, hoses strewn all over the park and never coiled up, sprinklers that go off any time day or night not only soaking your patio furniture but covering the motor home with water spots that need a chisel to get them off and owners who run around with a bull horn screaming at people to drive 5 miles an hour. Owners very friendly but they need to update the park and offer some perks to catch the snow-birds. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I agree with a previous reviewer that this place is a bit overrated. It was ok for an overnighter but the given description of being in a grungy part of town with mediocre facilities and dusty streets is right on the money. I would stay here again only if some of the other nearby facilities were already full. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park has been grossly over-rated even though the owners are making a valiant effort at creating a silk purse from a sow's ear. Largely a do-it-yourself effort and it shows. It remains a mobile home park with dusty roads, mediocre facilities and a location in a rather grungy part of town on an old commercial strip. Modestly redeemed by the wonderful smell of roasting peppers at an adjacent processing plant (an indication of the neighborhood). Might be worth an overnight stay if the better parks are full. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed in Sunny Acres for 1 year while building our home in Las Cruces. We found it to be the nicest park in the city. The sites are grassy, with trees and it is away from the interstate, quiet, which is a big plus. The 5 private restrooms are spotless, and the clubhouse is quite adequate for the get togethers that the owners and managers plan frequently. The management is constantly working on the park, updating, repairing and making it a nice place to stay. While the area is commercial, it is very handy to a wonderful Mexican grocery store, just a block away, and several great Mexican restaurants, such as Nelly's, a Las Cruces Treasure. WalMart is just down the road a mile or so, and downtown is within walking distance where they have a great Wednesday/Saturday market. We were full timers and found this to be one of the nicest parks that we have stayed in. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I guess opinions of campgrounds are as subjective as anything else, because I just love this park. It has nice amenities, is relatively quiet, and is run by outstandingly friendly and helpful people. The individual bathrooms are very clean, and the club house is a great place to meet and get to know your neighbors. As a younger full-timing couple, we felt very welcome here. Yes, it is located in the more commercial part of town and has gravel roads, but it's an easy walk to the downtown area and park management does wet and grade the roads. The free WiFi can be a bit unreliable at times, but is usable in most situations. The park has mature trees and plantings, which is rare anywhere in the southwest. It's a great place to stay while exploring the charms of Las Cruces. We will definitely stay there again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Sunny Acres has four bathroom/showers for the RVers. Which isn't nearly enough when the park is full. Sometime in May, they lock two of the four bathrooms. When questioned about that the owners told me they didn't want to clean the other two. Wow! Aren't these bathrooms for the people in the park? Not only do they close off two of the already not enough bathrooms, they have a handicap bathroom that is kept locked at all times. Same answer. They don't want anyone to use it so they don't have to clean it. We will not be going back to Sunny Acres since we use the park bathrooms. My advice to anyone going to Sunny Acres, if you are planning to use the park bathrooms or showers at any given time, be prepared to wait, sometimes for a very long time. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have been coming to this RV Park for the past 4 years and will keep coming back. After checking all other parks in Las Cruces this one is the best hands down. The owners will do every thing posible to make your stay the best if you stay a night or a week we are all ways welcome, and love the shade trees and grass. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park presently has 58 spaces with 20 additional spaces scheduled to be ready for occupancy by October of this year. All spaces are of good width, gravel based and well shaded. There is much grass and many trees in this park. The owners are very pleasnt and attentive individuals. The variety of home locales represented by campers at this park presents campers a chance to meet and make new friends of interesting background. You will not regret your stay at this park. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

This park is just great. The sites are large grassed sites, wonderfully maintained. The owners could not be more accommodating. They really care about their park and it shows. We looked at all the other parks in Las Cruces while here and there's no comparison. We'll definitely be back on our next visit here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very wide, level gravel sites, many separated with grass & trees. Very clean facilities. Close to town without the freeway noise other RV parks suffer from. Don't let the unattractive entrance put you off. Nice grass section to walk pets. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Two years ago (2002), when we stayed at Sunny Acres RV Park in Las Cruces NM, the owners were in the throws of converting it from a Mobile Home Park to an RV Park. Did they have plans!! We missed last year but came back again this year and what a very pleasant surprise. The whole place has taken on a vibrant new life. The first thing that strikes you is the neat, well-kept grounds. Good sized, well planned sites that make parking your rig easy and give you plenty of space between you and your neighbour. There is lots of grass, foliage and mature trees throughout the whole park. The planned club house has been completed with five impeccable private three piece rest rooms (shower, sink and toilet), one of them being for the handicapped, a new well functioning laundry and a large meeting room with internet access. It is so nice to find a RV Park where the owners are so committed to making sure that visitors are comfortable and feel at home. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Excellent Park. Very conveniently located to: Bus Stop, Grocery Store, Resteraunts, Gas Stations, Super Wal-Mart and much more. Park is in excellent shape. Owners are ever so friendly and always ready to do their best to make your stay the most enjoyable. This park is in excellent condition and without a doubt has all the comforts that a camper needs. I would not hesitate to recommend this park to anyone. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Best of the 4 campgrounds we have tried in Las Cruces for an escape from desert heat with
a view of the Organ Mountains. Also known as Sunny Acres RV Park. Owners converting mobile home park to RV sites, with resulting wide spaces, 40x60. Some
perimeter spaces slightly narrower. Grassy sites with mostly mature shade trees, wide roads, serene and peaceful. Spotless new private restrooms with showers, new laundry, clubhouse with kitchen leading to long covered porch overlooking rose garden and pecan trees. Camped here in October 2003. Reserve ahead for winter months. This is a repeater. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Before camping at Sunny Acres we looked at all the other RV Parks in Las Cruces. Sunny Acres is the best. It has many shade/fruit trees, nice green grass instead of gravel and the roads are wide and the spaces are so large. The owners are very kind and very helpful. I would recommend this park to anyone who wants a beautiful stay in Las Cruces. The showers are nice and clean, it has a laundromat and a clubhouse and a large yard for those who want to invite friends for a get together. The park is adults only so if you are looking for peace and quiet, you'll will find it at Sunny Acres. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
