This park has updated to 50amp full hookup sites, big rig pull through sites recently. They are open from May-Oct. There's a restaurant on the grounds along with small store that stocks every Friday. There's a large play area for baseball or frisbies and a small playground for the children. Everything is very clean and updated. We will stay again when coming through the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground is slightly run down and in need of maintenence in several areas. They do have a nice restaurant and lounge that serves great food and is clean. Off of the restaurant, they have a nice big deck overlooking one of the lakes. They also have a nice banquet hall for group functions. There is a nice new swimming pool for campers use. There is also a softball diamond and three picnic pavillions avaiable for group use. There is also a small playground. The biggest detriment to this campground is that there is absolutely no water activities (other than fishing) allowed on any of the four lakes within the campground! No swimming, boating etc. The water in the lakes seemed somewhat stagnet, probably from lack of use. To get to the weekend sites, you have to drive across a narrow causeway between two of the lakes. This can be tricky in a motorhome or any larger rig, especially at night. One false move, and you could be down an embankment and into the water. The sites are spacious and clean and relatively quiet. We did have a problem with one overnighter in a beat up motorhome that insisted on staying up with a couple of friends drinking themselves into a stupor around the campfire and being somewhat noisy until dawn. We advised the management but aren't sure if any action was taken. The noisy party left the next day anyway. It seems that rule enforcement could be handled a little better by the management. The dumpster was overflowing trash onto the ground and the insects around it were unbearable. This campground seems to be geared more towards seasonal sites and longer term occupants. There are very few weekend/overnight sites. This is an OK campground for an overnight or short weekend stay. There isn't much to do for kids other than fishing or swimming. Now that we know what to expect, we would go back if only for a quick weekend getaway. We camped here in a Motorhome.
