Price is Passport America rate and worth the drive. It is about 6 miles from the interstate. The owner/manager is very friendly and accommodating. He showed us another site when my wife preferred something different. The park is extremely quiet at night. Our site was level grass with 30 amp electric and water with an easy dump station on the way out. The gravel interior roads were in good shape. The bathrooms and shower house looked like a step above an outhouse, but no problem for us as we use our own. The was also no laundry. My higher rating reflects the feel of the park and the friendliness of the people. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Run down showers badly in need of updating. Trashy buildings line the way back to campsites. Road badly in need of grading after heavy rains. Sewer hookups are available, but not on transient sites. Dump station very close to road by shower house and toilet building that we didn't enter. Rate is based on Passport America membership, not worth $26 a night. Would we stay again? Yes, since we are fully self-contained. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We chose this campground because it belongs to Passport America, so we only paid $13 per night. For us price is more important that amenities. But we loved this place because it was out of the way (about 5 miles from the interstate) and because it was so peaceful. The owner is a very nice, sociable chap. A good choice for us We camped here in a Motorhome.
