We called & met the owner, the place was more like an open field adjacent to large farm land -- somewhat isolated, though there were several long-term camp units further in, under the trees; we wanted satellite reception, so parked out on the long access road leading into the place. We stayed here in late season, after Labor Day, wanted water & electric hook-ups; we are/were 50' long, with 30' fifth wheel.. We will stay here, again -- likely in Oct. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This campground was listed in the Passport America book. We selected it because it fit into our stopping plans for the day and was written up to sound very nice. We did not actually stay there because it looked abandoned. There had not been any maintenance done this year and perhaps not last year. The only bright spot was a band of wild turkeys we saw as we idled through the mud looking for a place to turn around. We did not see any humans. We camped here in a camper.
