This campground occupies a beautiful location right on the St Lawrence River. My campsite was within 50 feet of the shoreline. The sites are well spaced, but for many the boundaries are unclear resulting in vehicles being parked at a number of odd angles. When I arrived at the park no maps or information regarding park polices were supplied. In addition, park staff wasn’t very helpful. When I requested directions to my campsite I was told that “it’s right on the point”. Considering the price, which includes a $9 on-line registration fee, I've downgraded it. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very large park on St. Lawrence River. Excellent bathrooms and shower facilities and many electric and non-electric sites from full sun to full shade depending on your liking. Great views of the river. Small beach for swimming. Staff very friendly and helpful. Campground is clean and popular with weekenders. We camped in on site #45 which has an excellent riverview and access to everything. Water located at spigots through-out the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Ok but busy state park. Most have good electric, water is located throughout park. We were on loop B, a no pets loop. Online shows this loop with an equipment length of 20 feet. Some of the sites can handle up to a 40 foot rig, but not many. While basically level, this park has 'rolley polley' sites, looks like they were back fill that was spread out without really being graded. So you kind of need to know which sites are good, which are bad. They were nice enough to allow us to drive through and pick a site from a list of sites that they gave us. This was on a Friday after we called to verify that they had sites available. Loop A has the best sites. All sites are grass except for 5 or 6 down at the end of a dead end road. Nice family park right on the St. Lawrence Seaway. TV reception was bad, only a couple stations from Canada. Verizon broadband was slow, phones ok. We camped here in a Motorhome.
