This campground offers minimal services for a high price. You're really paying for use of things like the swimming pool at the village. Since it is down in the valley, there is very little breeze and it is hot. The water pressure was so high it ruined a couple of fixtures on my trailer. There is hardly any shade, except for a couple of places. The river level changes and it is icy cold, so not a good place to play. That said, I caught a couple of nice trout there. There is wifi at the lodge, but that's the only place. I would not stay there again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This campground is about one mile from the resort and the pool. Upon checking in, the desk person was less than helpful. We camped at site 19 which has a covered table, sounds great until you find numerous wasp and hornets nests also reside under the pavilion. We notified the desk and we were told we could probably purchase some hornet spray at the market. We stopped at the gas station and thankfully the attendant there notified maintenance to have the nests removed. The grass was knee high and the picnic table was nasty. We had planned to stay four nights but left after two. The bath house was clean. The front desk charged two hundred dollars to our debit/credit card as a hold and then charged the actual $75.00 fee as well and the lady said she did not know how to back the charges out but her manager would be in later. In summery, poor service, bad bee problem, camp site not clean, but hey the bath house was. We camped here in a Truck Camper.
