The e-mail address for this campground on Passport-America is incorrect. The correct email address is bsundowner@webworkz.com. In addition, the 800 number I found for this campground has been disconnected [800-719-8876] but the local number works fine to reach them [828-389-3241]. The campground has no direct access to Lake Chatuge but there are public ramps in the Hayesville area [three public boat ramps on the NC portion of Lake Chatuge: Jackrabbit Mountain Campground, off Hwy 175; Gibson Cove Campground, off Myers Chapel Road; and Ledford Chapel Wildlife Access Ramp, on Hwy 64] and some in the Hiawassee area including the U. S. Forest Service campground and boat ramp which is listed here: http://www.forestcamping.com/dow/southern/chatcmp. htm Scroll down to Lake Chatuge. Further, they have seasonal rates and their season is from May 1st to Nov 1st. They are open year around so they also have winter rates. The monthly, seasonal and winter rates include cable tv [about 60 channels] but do not include electricity which they bill you for each month. Expect to have to buy propane in 30 gal. portable tanks for the winter months and cover the water spigot and hose into your RV with electric insulation tape. Call them for further details on long term rates. We camped here in a Motorhome.

An adult only park, very quiet and run by a former full timer couple who are very friendly and helpful. About 1/2 mile North of the GA border on Route 69. This is a Passport America campground and the even gave us a reduced price on the weekly rate. About 30 miles from the Alpine village of Helen GA. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
