This is a small, but very friendly campground. The owners, Hubert and Christine Pollitt, were extremely helpful, and enjoy being the hosts of this nice little campground. The sites are spaced apart, and while we were there, most were empty (off season), but they are level and have gravel for the vehicles to park on. Paved drives and sites might injure the deer or other animals that visit this remote area. A short walk, and there is a nice dock to fish on, as well as a boat ramp. This is a great area to canoe or kayak. There are tent sites right on the water, with the RV sites about 150-200' away. Some of the original sites don't have sewer hook-up, though several others do. There is a dump station, so it's easy enough to dump as you leave. Shower/toilet is an old Mobile-home, that has been converted. It is about 150' from the nearest site. We used our on-board toilet & shower, so I didn't check them out. This campground is a work in progress, and the owners will go out of their way to help you, as they work to build their property. This may not be for everyone, but we did have a very nice time. We stayed two nights, and would camp here again, if in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
