This park is very well kept with lots of shade and brand new 30 AMP electrical all over the place. There is a new playground for the kids, and just across the access road is the James River. Very, very quiet and relaxing. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park and a well kept secret! There was no charge for firewood and was even delivered by the caretaker! Nightly fee is on an honor system, you just put your $10 in a box located at the entrance. We will probably make this an annual trip. 18 hole golf course/clubhouse is only a mile away. Park has theatre performances at certain times of year. Large playground for kids. Park is located 9 miles NW of LaMoure. Paved road to park is available off US Hwy 281. We camped here in a Motorhome.
