Rate is weekend rate; weekdays are $25 for full hookup. We loved this park. Most people camping here bring their horses and ride on the many trails all about and in the Sheyenne National Grasslands which are adjacent to the park. Park is quiet and clean. Every site has a nice firepit. We'd definitely stay here again. (The GPS listed in Trailer Life is incorrect as of 2010. Correct GPS is 46 31.996N; 97 13.109W.) We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is also a horse camp for those who want to ride in the national grasslands next door. This may account for the numerous flies which were really annoying. Flies aside, though, it’s a nice park. Easy access big rig pull throughs, though the access road, County Road 23, is gravel. Wide sites. New trees trying hard to provide a little shade. A beautiful setting out in the country. There were no horses here when we stayed here, in fact we were the only campers. I don’t think I’d have like it as much if it were filled with horses, manure odors, whinnies and even more flies. But we found it very quiet and bucolic. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
A new camp ground still in some phases of construction, but so much promise. Owners seeking to please. Camp borders 70,000 acres of government wilderness known as Sheyenne National Grasslands. When this campground is totally complete I am confident it will deserve a 10! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
