We stayed at this campground for 3 months as there was no other alternative. They priced gouged in every way...$525 monthly for a space, $20 per car if more than one, and $200 deposit which was NOT returned in a timely fashion. They were NEVER on site should a problem arise. The internet worked less than 50% of the time and NEVER on weekends when they were unavailable to reset it. Both the women's and the men's showers and bathrooms had a significant amount of mold and were never cleaned during our 3-month stay, and finally, there is only 1 washer/dryer for 15 RV spots and about 20 motel rooms. Between the price gouging and the lack of clean facilities and promised amenities, I would NEVER EVER stay at this facility again! I may sound like an unhappy customer, which I am, but everything above it factual. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I tried to stay here for two nights, and was told that they only rent by the week. Another couple tried to stay for the summer, and was told they couldn't for some unclear reason. I suspect the owners are renting to oil workers, and are thus no longer interested in transients, at least for now. We camped here in a Motorhome.

WOW! These are the best RV park managers we have met in years of travel. The park is small and friendly. The restrooms and showers and grounds are CLEAN! We have traveled around the US and this is one of the best places we have ever found. First of all, The owners really care about their tenants. They were so accommodating when we pulled in. They showed us around the park, and showed us the laundry and shower/bathroom areas. All are immaculate! They treat their guests wonderful. The entire place is clean and well kept. I haven't seen the motel rooms, but have heard they are clean and immaculate. When I entered the park, the owner was there to greet us. We checked in and the check in area is similar to a 5 star motel. There is a great gift shop with hand made gifts as well as other gifts.. I just can't say enough good things about this place. No matter how I travel to this area again - RV or driving I will definitely try to get a place here in the RV park or the motel. The RV park is small and has 14 spots. I highly recommend this place. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Basic site charge per night was $28, but they add $3 per child per night, so we paid $34 nightly rate. Office worker was friendly and helpful. Games in gameroom were out of order. Playground was in a nice shady area and had numerous pieces of equipment. We had a nice site, although I noticed some sites looked a bit close together, which I would not have liked to be located in. Biggest complaint is the location - right next to a busy, 4-lane divided highway - loud traffic zooming by day and night. Also had nearby train noise several times a day, but not as annoying as the traffic noise. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Right off US-2 and US-52, easy off/easy on. Traffic noise. Lots of trees. Couldn't get our satellite. Called ahead of time to check on check-in time and was told 2PM. Got there about 2:15, no one at the office. Had to call office number on the cell to find out what site they reserved for us. Thought it was quite amusing that the campground only had 2-3 rv's in camp yet we couldn't get in until 2PM (that's the time the lady shows up). Not very impressed with this campground. She has to come and unlock the 50amps for the big rigs so we had to wait for her to arrive at the campsite. She arrived about 15-20 minutes after we arrived. We only use KOA's as a last resort. Won't be coming to this one again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

In mid August 2011 we went to Minot to assist my aunt, whose house was flooded along with 3100 others. We called the Fairgrounds to see if space was available. Yes, we could have spot for $30 a night or $600 a month. No water or sewer, electric only. Asked about $15 rate last year only to be told it was $20 last year. Upon arrival in Minot we drove by Fairgrounds to see 20 of 200 spots being used. Keep in mind that 3100 homes were flooded and residents were parked in school parking lots for 2 month running generators. We will never stay at the Fairgrounds while they ignore their own citizens. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a multi-purpose facility and info does not lend well to the rating system. There are multiple power locations around the park, however, the number of 50-amp is very limited. They have just opened a very large RV park on the grounds but this is only open when they need added space for some special event. We were there on 2 weekends and they had stock car racing and World of Outlaws. This will provide considerable noise sometimes past 11 PM depending on how many crashes they have. In addition the railroad tracks are right behind the park. If you arrive during the day you can get them to unlock the power box you will use. If possible do not park along the back fence, instead park near the Putt-putt area with grass. There are four 50-amp plugs there. The office is in a large, pink brick building at the back of the complex. Park where you see many cars ‘behind the building’. The office is at the top of the stairs. Friendly staff but they may not be able to answer many questions on parking locations as they primarily handle money. They will call someone to physically help you get parked. We would stay there again and even extended our stay this trip in spite of the noise issues. We just ran the A/C fans that blocked most of the noise other than the final races where they had as many as 24 cars on the track. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We attempted to stay here longer, but were told they were not allowing camping during July as they were getting ready for State Fair. Suggest you call first before stopping in: 701-838-1193. We camped here in a Motorhome.

There are not many choices in this area. This RV park is more like a housing area for the locals. Loaded with RV's that are trying to be long-term housing. Sites are narrow and very soft. Was not worth the money at all. Could not wait to leave. Would NEVER return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Neat and clean. Some shade. Sites very close together. Laundry and everything new due to flood last year. Lots of permanent residents. Staff very nice - we had to stay extra days because of the wind and our dog getting sick and they were very helpful. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Reservations definitely needed at this campground, regardless of when you are traveling. It's either the oil workers or special festivals. I managed to squeak in a one night reservation during a Scandinavian festival. Although I'm giving the park a 6, I want to give the staff a 10. I am currently traveling with an injury and I'm on crutches. When I made the reservation, I mentioned that I needed to do laundry and I had an injury. The staff managed to get me close to the laundry. I'm not saying my site was great, but I was close to the laundry. Although the sites are gravel on ground, my site was fairly level. Didn't need Lynx Blocks to hoist up a tire or two. The sites are "side by side" and once you get your slides out, you need only to open your window, knock on your neighbor's window and say, "Please pass the mustard." I'm not joking! As for the neighbor on the other side (in the next side by side over), well, there is "some" spacing, but not much. The laundry room was very clean and had modern high efficiency washers. Laundry was reasonable, $2.25 to wash, and 25 cents for 5 minutes to dry. Let's just say, $1.50 was enough to dry a load of clothing. Not cheap, but not outrageous. I got a decent Wi-Fi signal at my site. Wasn't blazingly fast, but worked enough for email. I got decent digital TV reception over the air via batwing with Wingman. Basically three network channels and a NOAA weather info channel specific to North Dakota. As for the network channels: I found if you put the antenna one way, you got CBS, NBC, and FOX. If you rotated the antenna 90 degrees, you got CBS, NBC, and ABC. Good reception with Verizon cell phone. I noticed some road noise, but it was tolerable. Price I paid reflects Good Sam discount and taxes. Decent place to stop over on your travels, if you can tolerate the "pass the mustard" situation. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This hostess was so helpful to us. We stayed here a week, then extended for another two weeks while my husband recovered from falling off a ladder. She kindly prorated the monthly rate for us. There are lots of area workers staying here, and the grounds aren't maintained as well as they should be. But it's conveniently located near shopping, restaurants and the doctors' offices. Highway noise wasn't a problem because we were far enough away from it. We occasionally heard cars racing at the fairgrounds on weekends. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Lots of "resident" RV's, but they do have some sites reserved for overnighters. The place seems OK for a quick stop in transit. Had a good satellite shot. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great spot to stop over for a night or two but would not recommend it for a destination campground. Easy access from US 52, and sites were level. Camp host was helpful. Basically a big gravel lot with hook-ups. We did not use the WiFi but were told that it was available and free. We camped here in a Motorhome.
