Overall not a bad campground. We stayed in a deluxe site which I strongly recommend unless you want to be in an open area with small children and dogs running everywhere. We stayed in deluxe site number 3. It was nice, although a little tight for getting out of when there were campers in the site next to us. A lot of the people in this campground are locals with seasonal sites. We were here for two nights while waiting for our house to close. Restrooms/showers were clean, the staff was helpful and friendly. I would give this resort a higher rating if we didn't have to watch out for unattended children and dogs as much when we were leaving the park each time to run into town for errands. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Check-in staff was very friendly but young and inexperienced with big rigs. Site assigned was Not accessible to a 40 ft motorhome, so took another site. Fire rings are in the way for parking and exiting. 50 amp elect is good and water pressure is good. WiFi only works in office or parked right outside. Lots of kids on bikes but not noisey. Would stay here again. Rate is PassPort America. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Level sites with good electric and water. Interior roads in good condition. A negative against the park would be their fire pits. The park digs this 8 to 10 inch deep hole, about three feet in diameter right where you have to back into the site or where you need to park your tow vehicle. Makes getting in and out of the site with a larger unit difficult. We would camp here again. The price reflects the rate for a Coast to Coast Good Neighbor Park, We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Can't say enough good stuff about this campground. Well maintained, with level lots. Kids activities planned every 1/2 hour. Has a clean, life guarded pool. Friendly knowledgeable staff. We stayed in the deluxe neighborhood and we are glad we did because the other sections were packed. Don't bother planning activities for the surrounding area, you don't need to leave the campground for entertainment. There is enough to do at the campground alone, and the kids will love it. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
The park has many activities planned for the kids, but the activities are very short and are not always what you would expect. The schedule that is given upon arrival looks impressive but in fact the activities are sometimes just watching cartoons in the rec hall. The pool is way too small for a campground this size. They do have a "jumping pillow" that the kids loved, and they do not charge for it, and it is open all day. At the hottest point of our stay there the pool had to be closed due to someone using the bathroom in the pool. This was unfortunate, but it reopened basically right after the "item" was removed from the pool. We decided on a water fight back at the site instead of a swim in the pool. It was a Halloween theme weekend when we were here, and the kids had a fantastic time dressing up and receiving candy from all the sites. Overall it is a great family oriented campground they just need to spend some of the money they are making on the high nightly rate and upgrade their facilities and install another pool. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
