It's a paved parking lot with 50/30A power pedestals. The spaces are just long enough for the fifth wheel, so we had to unhook and park the truck beside it. There is plenty of room to do so. If you plan to use the dump station and potable water (oddly located on potable water but it worked), I would recommend selecting a site to the right as you enter the lot. Any will work, but the right side will allow for easier entry into dump station area. We initially thought $20 was a little high for what it was. After a little time for reflection we have decided the convenience, and relative feeling of security versus being in a truck lot somewhere to sleep for the night, was worth the price of admission. We stopped on the westbound side of the turnpike and will use again. I may be tough with ratings but I just can't give an electric only, overnight only, parking lot more than a 6. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This place is great! Water to fill your tank, park, put up the antenna and get a couple of stations, get a good nights sleep before hitting the road in the morning. We are on the eastbound side. Plenty of grass to walk your dog if necessary. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Comments relate to Westbound RV lot at Ohio turnpike Milepost 76.9 only. Paved parking lot with pull through spots and 30 and 50 amp electric service at each. Enough space between sites to park. Toad as sites are just long enough for a 40 ft motorhome. You must disconnect or you would block the road. Extremely convenient for overnight stop. Sanitary dump and potable water are available and free at exit of RV lot. We camped here in a Motorhome.
It was 11pm and we were 2 hours behind schedule. I had 2 seniors and 3 children with me and I was exhausted. We pulled into the service area at mile marker 76.9 to use the Internet and find a hotel, then I saw it. I was shocked to see a dedicated RV area complete with electric hook up and a dump station. I paid the $15 cash through the vending machine in the lot and chose one of about 20 spaces. Although it is right on the interstate, it was pretty quiet and couldn't be any more convenient. The bathrooms were clean and along with Hardy's and the gas station, are open 24 hours a day. The only down side was the absence of showers, but I wasn't complaining. I'm only rating this a 7 because it is missing the traditional campground amenities since it's not meant for anything other than over night. Then again, it's not a campground. For convienence and price I should give it a 10. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
