Kudos to the State of Ohio for providing outstanding rest areas along the Ohio Turnpike, including a place for RVs with electric hookups, and a dump station. The RV section is backed up to a hill, which provides some softening of the road noise. There are trucker showers that are individual and clean. There is also a laundry. The food court was fantastic. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
I mostly want to correct the MP to 197. We camped in a motor home and the spots were level and double wide for slides and parking a toad. There is a dump area and potable water as you leave the RV area. The RV area is across from the restaurants near the car parking area and there is plenty of light. It works very well for a single night. We camped here in a Motorhome.
There are 6 RV Lots on the Ohio Turnpike. We stayed at MP 107. Very convenient if you are traveling the turnpike and want to spend the night without exiting the turnpike and looking for an RV park. Much better than pulling into the truck parking area and listening to the truck noise all night. These are located at the Service Centers (food, gas, rest rooms) but are on the opposite side of the truck parking area. Ours had back-in sites only and was level. Our 35' fifth wheel fit into site but we had to disconnect truck and park next to 5th wheel in wide site. Had a good night's rest and also electricity. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
