An older COE well shaded park probably made for tenting. Almost all of the sites are set up with tables, fire rings, and BBQs at the back of the site. Most of the sites are very sloped either to the front or the back of the site. Some sites are so bad that to get level using several blocks puts the RV as much as 3' off the ground. There is only 30 amp electric with water located a few sites away. There is one showering bathhouse in the campground and a pit toilet at one end. The large lake is nice for fishing and boating, and there are 3 trails to walk near the lake. Over the air TV is very good as well as phone service. My AT&T data card needed an antenna and amp to get 4 bars of 4G. Very close to Will Rogers Museum (12 miles) and birthplace (3 miles). Rate reflects senior discount. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A Corps of Engineers park and an excellent place to camp. Most sites are well shaded, paved, and nearly level. The waterfront sites are beautiful. Primary activities besides camping is fishing, boating, swimming, and some hiking. Fishing is usually very good. The park was well maintained. Water for hookup is available but bring plenty of hose and a "Y" connector. The only negative thing is that the raccoons can be a nuisance. GPS Info.
