Over all we had a good stay here. You will need a water pressure reducer. We went through 3 water pressure reducers before we found what we needed. The Park Host has (poorly behaved) grandkids. Ticks are kind of bad, so be sure to check yourself. I give it a 10 rating if the grand kids are not visiting. But if they are here, I give it a 7 or below. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is located just below the dam along the Arkansas River. All sites are level and most are long enough to accommodate big rigs. Sites are back-in but angled for easy back-in. Sites are not too close together. Although the signs said 14 day maximum stay, most of the campers appeared to be long-term. There were 100 lb. and 250 lb. propane tanks at two of the sites and clutter and junk at other sites that were typical of long-term campers. There is construction going on at the dam and just across the dam on highway 151 and I suspect that some or most of the campers are construction workers. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Site 20 best view next to dam of Keystone Lake. Bathrooms need TLC - no entry doors, bugs galore. Some overhanging branches, need care in parking and slide use. Price listed is before Senior Pass 50% discount. Quiet place. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This could be a very nice park. They are in the process of adding more spaces. Easy access to US 412. WI-FI works great, TV via antenna is good. The rate reflects $300 monthly rent. Some good people, but lots of "trailer trash" as well. While we were here a neighbor's ATV and trailer were stolen. We won't be back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The campground is way out in the middle of nowhere, at exit 209th Avenue off Highway 51, so it's west of Sand Springs. Nothing available except utilities and dumpster. Most trailers there for storage as the rate is so low ($250/30 amp, $275/50 amp). Good thing is that it's next to a friendly bar called the Expressway, really nice people hang out there - they'll make you a friend by the time you leave! Conoco gas station with store on the corner. Is on frontage road which dead ends. Sewer hook-ups on west-side sites go up-hill, but hasn't been a problem. A small concrete pad at each site, gravel or grass elsewhere. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate included $2 per night senior discount (62+). Nice park, office staff were friendly. There is a little store with some items, milk, bread, souvenirs, etc. Two camping areas, one with full hookups, and one with only electric/water. Some pull throughs in the electric/water section, but they are close together. Both camping loops view the lake. First come, first served, no reservations. In the full hook up section, there is nice spacing between sites. Electric pole is mid-ship, pads are concrete and level with enough room to park your tow in front. Electric is steady, water pressure is good. Lots of trees for shade. Concrete picnic tables at each site on a concrete pad. Firepit and grill at each site. There is a playground and a pavilion in the middle of the FHU camping section. A tent only area is provided. They offer a restaurant/bar at the marina, nice menu, outside dining. Prices are good and the night we went, we enjoyed the food and good service. Park Rangers are present. However, as with many parks now, there appear to be some “longer term” guests. However, all sites were clean and neat. Sites and firepits are not cleaned between visitors, but ours was not bad except for cigarette butts everywhere. Great bird watching here. No wifi, but Verizon air card and phone worked fine here. If the park had provided wi-fi, we would have given it a 10. There is a train a few miles away. We heard it, but did not find it bothersome. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park, we found out the next morning, but hard to figure out if you arrive late and are a newbie. Side-by-side pads in the Full hook up area, with a view out the front of your trailer over the lawn and lake. We could only stay the one night, but we'd stay again and get there earlier if possible. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

There are two main campgrounds within this park - Green Country (which has the marina and maybe a restaurant?) and Lake Country (which has 3 camping sections). We stayed in the latter, in the sort of middle section. There's an area more in the trees on a hill (which looked better for tents and smaller rigs), an area closer to the water (which looked nice but was full), and the area we stayed in (which was kind of in between the two, exposed and not as close to the water but with a nice view still). Nice park if you have kids or pets - two nice playgrounds and lots of grassy area. The Lake Country was more open space, felt less crowded/closed-in and busy. The sites are a little tight with the short posts and concrete tables, but there's a wide road on one side to help give you maneuvering room. We got our 40' RV in with some care. Train nearby, but with AC on, can't hardly hear it when inside! Really enjoyed our stay here. Rate reflects the $2 discount for seniors (of any state). We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here in March and it was pretty cold. We have stayed here before only because of the convenience to relatives home. It is real dusty here as all of the streets are dust and gravel. The owner met us on arrival and is very helpful. There are a lot of workers staying here but everyone was very friendly and we had no problems other than the dust. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice manager on site. Plenty of room at the park. Grandson liked the play ground. Looked like some people living there but still a nice park. If you want a quiet place this is not for you. The train below the hill comes by quite often and blows the horn right below the hill. But worse than that was the dust! My wife and I found we were so stopped up when we left and didn't know we had allergies so bad. I was miserable until we left and were gone for a few days. I would go back and stay at this park, but it would really be nice to have a paved drive. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The sites here are a little small and some are difficult to get into depending on the size of the rig. The interior roads are narrow and tight with trees close to the edge of the road. These campsites are fine for smaller rigs, but the larger ones should choose sites on the periphery of the campground. We were wedged in pretty tightly between some trees and weren't able to put our awning out on our last visit. It would be nice if the sites were paved or at least had a fresh layer of gravel on them. The camp hosts are very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms/showers are clean and well maintained. The swimming area is rather rocky. The walking trail is nice with some pretty scenery. We have camped here on a couple of occasions and we will camp here again because this area is close to us. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I have been to quite a few Corps parks and this is one of the worst. It doesn't have to be this way. Like most Corps parks, this one is located on water, Keystone Lake, with nice views of the lake. Some sites are lakeside. Many of the sites can accommodate big rigs but the interior roads are narrow with trees near the edge of the road. Trees need to be trimmed to avoid brushing against the top and sides of the RV. Many of the sites have steep grades. There is severe erosion throughout the park from rainwater. Large pieces of driftwood clutter the boat landing. Little or no attempt has been made to keep the sites, which are gravel, free of grass and weeds. Many sites need a fresh layer of gravel. Fire pits and grills were not cleaned on a regular basis. The price reflects the Senior Pass 50% discount. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
