Pull through sites are too short and too close together. Entry from south has no sign, so we drove right past it before we realized it was there. Water pressure and voltage was good, but that's about all the good I have for this park. We would not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Used this park for an overnight stay. It's not a park I would consider for a lengthy stay. It was OK for my needs. I called prior to my arrival and asked if spots were available for 1 night. The staff told me yes and which sites to use. I arrived after office was closed & I was unable to use the spots directed by staff. My rig was too long for me to comfortably make the lane. The property is small and tight. No other complaints as it suited my basic needs. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We arrived on a Sunday; the office was closed. There was a list of spaces open to overnighters on the office door so we parked in one of those and left a check in an envelope provided. The Wi-Fi network for the park required a password and there was no one to ask for help so we couldn't use it. The park is fine for a night or two: very basic, clean, well-spaced sites. The price seemed a bit high for a park with no amenities but there isn't much else in town. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a nice basic park with easy access to I-44 with paved roads and concrete pad. Plenty of room between sites and long enough for large rigs. The laundry room was clean and washer/dryer cost a $1.00 for each load. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is another campground that I would not consider a destination park, but was perfect for out needs. It was right off I-44, clean restrooms, not too expensive, the cable was good, power was consistent and Wi-Fi was okay. It was quiet, cared for and we had no complaints. We have family in Tulsa and would stay here again when we visit. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Stayed here in a 22 footer in a pull through spot. Roads and pads are concrete and level. Connections where good. Wi-Fi and cable TV were excellent. Cable has 60 plus channels. Staff was great. This is a tight little campground and you don't have a lot of room to play with. There is also construction going with bad detour signs, so pay attention and don't be surprised if you have to make a few passes to get to the park! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a decent little, no frills type of RV park located close to I-44. The owners are very nice folks. The spaces are OK. Can be a little tight for big rigs with tow vehicles, but for the price, we would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I gave this park a high rating because the sites are all concrete with patio pad attached. The roads are asphalt and in excellent condition. The Wi-Fi works great. The park is neat and well maintained. A previous reviewer complained about the water hookup being inside a meter box. It freezes up here in the winter and the water pipes must be protected. I simply used my extra hose to connect to the hose bib in the meter box and connected my pressure regulator to it, simple. Hosts are friendly. This park is great if you need to be in Tulsa. We will definitely stay here again if we need to be in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very clean, basic park great for a layover in Tulsa. Close to the freeway so some noise but that seems to be the case in most city parks. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Tidy, neat park with easy access to Interstate. Sites are concrete and narrow with small grassy areas. The main drawback is the constant heavy traffic noise all night. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice small campground located right off I-44 (a high embankment kept the noise down) although the road construction and detours made it a little difficult to get off and on. The sites are all concrete with patio pad attached. The roads are asphalt and in excellent condition. The park is neat and well maintained. The water hookup is inside a meter box but was fairly easy to hook-up. The hosts are friendly. This park is great if you need to be in Tulsa. We will definitely stay here again if we need to be in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The park was clean and everything worked as it should. The water connection was unusual as it was below ground level, and difficult for me with my pressure regulator. The site was just long enough for a 40 foot motor home to leave room for a towed vehicle, but just long enough is good enough. The directions for getting to the campground if westbound on I-44 are accurate, but some of the turns getting off the Interstate are not big rig friendly, mandating the rear wheels going over a curb. Next time I will approach it from US-75, exiting at 61st Street. Having said all of that, we will return as we have family in Tulsa. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Campground is well maintained. Each site has cement pad. Grassy area to walk pets. Permanents keep their sites mostly clean. Office staff was friendly when making reservation and checking in. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We were pleasantly surprised how clean and neat this RV park was! We checked on several other RV parks in the area and it was a "no way will I stay here" answer for me. The Warrior RV Park has everything you need and the laundry charge is very reasonable! They have 4 washers and 2 dryers and I am picky about clean! They work well and are well maintained and up to "The Queen of Clean" standards for commercial laundry! It snowed and sleeted last night and the owners had the streets cleaned off perfectly as soon as it stopped snowing. My husband was gone and I just called up to the office to ask if someone could help me fill my propane tanks because I am new to RVing and within 60 seconds her husband was at my door and unhooked them and filled them! The personal attention the managers give you here and the friendliness just can't be beat! It is not fancy here but it is super neat and has everything you need to be comfortable. All the stores and shopping and eating is so convenient. The location is tops! You have to try this park! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The only positive about this park is its location. Close to interstate, shopping, etc. The park is old and small. The water hookup is at least one foot down in ground. Very unhandy, but luckily the weather was dry. If it would have rained, it would have been a messy challenge. We were in a 38Ft. Fifth Wheel, and the site was so narrow, it was a challenge to squeeze it in. We had to park our tow vehicle in the grass on the backside of the park. There seemed to be many permanent residents. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This park is very convenient located right off I-44. Convenient to gas, grocery, and chain food stores. Easy access to downtown Tulsa via I-44 and connecting routes. It is surprisingly quiet even though close to the interstate. Not a real large campground and pretty full with what looks like long-term campers. Very clean and well-run. Nice showers. Some of the pull-through sites are pretty tight to get into. Larger rigs are parked around the periphery, so no problem. We only have a 24 ft. travel trailer but would have had trouble getting into our pad with anything longer on the particular site we were assigned. Plenty of room for slide-outs and pads are level concrete. This is a clean, safe, quiet campground and we would stay here again. Price is reasonable at $28. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
The park is clean and the staff is friendly. This is an older park with concrete pads spaced adequately apart and with grass between sites which are mostly pull-through sites. However, the pads do not accommodate longer rigs very well. We have a 34-foot fifth wheel and a pickup with crew cab and long bed. I and others with rigs of this size and longer had to park the trucks hanging out into driving lanes by as much as four feet, or park them at one end of the park on grass. Your neighbor’s vehicle extending into the driving lane may need to be moved to allow exit from your pull-through. Most sites are occupied by long-term residents, but their sites are clean and junk-free. The water hookup is in a cavity about 18 inches below ground level with a cover plate to lift for access. The spigot is so close to the dirt that it seems easy to get dirt into the hose when connecting. It appears that the bathrooms may not be cleaned every day, because on our first day, there was no tissue in one of the men’s two stalls. On the second day, there was no tissue in either of the two stalls. The aged bathrooms are not air conditioned and the floor tiles are rust stained and there is mold around the edges of the showers. There are no soap or paper towel dispensers in the bathrooms. The bathrooms are in the lower half of the “acceptable“ scale and nothing to rave about, but we have listed them as clean because we were able to tolerate them. It depends on how much you can tolerate. Many cable TV channels. Our site was close to the office, so the WiFi signal was strong and the speed was reasonably fast. The park‘s literature cautions that WiFi may not be strong at some sites. If you are bothered by road noise, there is quite a bit, especially after 5:30 a.m. We could stay at this park again, but we think we will try one of the other Tulsa parks first. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We chose this park because it was just off Hwy 75, our route north. Friendly staff directed us to a space that although tight to get into with our 40ft motorhome, was do-able. We did not hear road noise even though we were just off the 75/44 intersection south of Tulsa. Plenty of stores and restaurants within a short distance any direction. For an overnight, this was a good place to stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We came into the park after the snow storm. The roads were snow packed but we were pleasantly surprised that the park had cleaned off their roads. We found out from the staff that the owner had spent many hours Christmas day cleaning off the roads in the park which was great. We've never stayed at a park that cleaned off any snow at all. We had no problems with connecting to the utilities and our heat tape helped keep the water from freezing. Great place to stay and we would highly recommend. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stopped here overnight. We stayed behind the office and the pull-through site was extremely hard to get into. The site was narrow too. The hookups are at the end of the site making it impossible to leave your car connected unless you carry 40+ feet of sewer and water hose. Road noise was a problem too. I would not stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Management is friendly. Rate included cable and Wi-Fi, which was great. Very nice park and excellently maintained. The electric and water are at the rear of sites making it hard for long vehicles to turn into the site. We stayed for three nights and we shall return in the spring. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This was one of the nicest parks that we have stayed in my husband's job travel. The concrete pad and patios were great and lots of space in between trailers. The restrooms & laundry were kept pretty clean. The managers were very nice, which one was the owner's son, very nice young man! He showed me how to connect to Wifi with my new laptop since I didn't know how to. It worked great once he showed me. We met several people in the park that are repeat customers that have been happy with their stay at this park. When my husband's job sends him back to Tulsa, we will be staying here again! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Stayed here for 2 months. Quiet and convenient to all Tulsa areas. Great park personnel. Concrete pads and paved roads. Will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice, well kept park near I-44, exit 224. Noise from freeway is not too bad. Check-in clerk was very friendly and directed me to a site as we were driving in. Came back to office to take care of the paperwork. Nothing spectacular here but would probably stay again if in the area. Wi-Fi service is free and has a good connection speed. Roof mounted satellite reception is very good. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a good, clean campground. Sites have concrete pads, including patio. There is also grass as your yard! I would have rated it higher but it is difficult to get to if you do not have access to specific directions. (I use Streets & Trips for mapping.) We would have stayed a little longer but had to get to our RV dealership for warranty repairs. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Really enjoyed staying at this park. Close to theaters, restaurants, malls, grocery and nice bike path right outside entrance that follows the river. This is a mobile home park with rv lots dispersed throughout so the lots are larger than the usual rv park with lots of trees and well kept roads. The ladies working the front desk were so accommodating and pleasant but i found out when we left that they were being let go and replaced with new management. Shame on the owner for this! The monthly rate was 509 and included electric, very reasonable. Train does go through park and a large company is located on one side of the park and can be noisy at times but not as bad as some "resorts" that we've stayed at. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is mostly permanent mobile homes, but we enjoyed the stay. Quiet in the evenings, great pool and play ground and a really nice little community. The only draw back is an occasional bad smell from the waste water treatment plant down river. We will return. We spent one night traveling through. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a decent value for an overnight stop. It is a convenient on/off from the interstate. Wi-Fi is available at the office building in the laundry room. Although the RV sites are adjacent to semi-permanent mobile homes, the park is quiet, shady, and clean. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Not a bad place, but not great either. The lawns were maintained and it was clean with some very nice rigs staying here. A bonus points in my book. We only stayed there one night, and spent most of it visiting friends in town, so I was originally going to give it a 7, but dropped it to 5 as noted below. The park is pretty easy to get to from westbound Skelly Drive, but road construction makes it a long drive down the access road when approaching from eastbound. The park was quiet despite the nearness of both the Interstate and train tracks. The problems I had weren't major, but I would have planned my trip differently if we'd been forewarned. The cable at our site never worked, but the antenna picked up all the local stations fine, and we weren't there for TV. That said, I deducted the point because there was no response from the park when I called them about it and got voice mail, and never heard a word back. The second problem was that the water was shut off to the park to facilitate a repair at a single Mobile Home site. Yes, the entire park on a weekday morning. If we hadn't been in a hurry to get out of town, we'd have been in big trouble since we normally sleep in. If the gentleman who called us back about our reservation had mentioned the upcoming maintenance it would have changed our plans. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Good overnight park, clean and quiet with level sites and friendly people. Cherry Hill is primarily a nice mobile home park with an RV section that does not have showers and/or restrooms. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is primarily a mobile home park, but it has a segregated RV section. The RV sites are quite large and can accommodate big rigs and have a paved driveway pad that is wide enough for two full-sized vehicles. There are some large trees in the RV area that provide some shade. The entire park is clean and quiet. We stayed a month visiting family and got the monthly rate of $500. There were number of big, expensive motorhomes and fifth wheels all around us and many were repeat visitors. This is a great place to stay to visit Tulsa and we plan to stay here again in the future. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
BEWARE of this park's refund policy. We had an emergency situation come up and could not get a partial refund: it is managements "policy" not to refund. Who is management: the person I was talking to. Our site was not quiet, heard the freeway noise and the mobile home residents playing LOUD music in their cars. Yes, to grassy areas, pool not kept up, and internet is available only in the laundry room. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We stayed here 5 days along with our in-laws while moving our son into ORU. As the others said, it is mainly a mobile home park but the RV sites are nice, shaded with plenty of parking. Easy access to I-44 to get where ever you want to go in the Tulsa area. The pool was very nice and clean. Didn't find a bathroom area except near the office. Wi-Fi is available but only from the laundry room (located next to the office and pool). No problems receiving DTV. The park was well kept and the staff friendly. We will definitely be staying here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a very clean, quiet park. RV sites were mostly shaded. It has a beautiful swimming pool. No restrooms except at pool, so use your RV bathroom. Easy access to interstate and all of the Tulsa area. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We have stayed here on a few occasions. Primarily a mobile home park, but this park was obviously conceived to service both mobile homes and RV's. The sites are cement with plenty of area for parking tow vehicle. Hookups are well situated and hookup is a breeze. Plenty of shade and the park is easily easily accessible from I-44. The only draw back was that the pool did not seem to be maintained as well as it has been in the past. We have looked at other parks in the Tulsa area and this one is definitely the best. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice place to stay when visiting the Tulsa area. This is an Escapee park and our rate was the Escapee rate. Regular rate is $25. Mostly a Mobile Home park but RV sites available. Ours was level gravel and grass with good electric and water. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Rate is weekly rate with Escapees membership. We enjoyed our three-month stay at this mobile home park with some RV sites in the front section. Its main advantages are that it is quiet, convenient and has large grassy sites, many of which are shaded by huge trees. There is a very nice, clean pool. It is just a short drive to downtown, restaurants and shopping and you can ride bikes on the River Trail just outside the entrance. The trail system extends for miles on both sides of the Arkansas River. There are some old and poorly maintained mobile homes in the park, but most are in the rear section. A few of the long-term RV sites have some junk outside. However, the park is generally well maintained. There were several management turnovers during our stay. We used our own Sprint wireless card and were able to use our satellite TV. Tulsa is a terrific city. Be sure and walk around the downtown, which is filled with wonderful art-deco buildings, and don't miss the Gilcrease and Philbrook Museums. We would return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Second time we have stayed here. It really is a mobile home park with some RV spots. Clean and real nice pool area. Easy on/off I 44. No restrooms/showers so plan to use your RV. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Many of the residents of this campground are there for the long term but it is still a good spot to stay for just a few days or even a one night stopover. One of the best things about the campground is that it is located adjacent to the River Trail that runs along both sides of the Arkansas River. It is an easy traffic free walk or bike ride to downtown. There is a WiFi provider for a charge but when we stayed there there was also a free site available. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I agree that this park has much to offer in the Tulsa area. It is right across the river (just west) of downtown and very close to ORU and the new Oklahoma Aquarium. Most sites are permanent residents but I get the feeling that it is well managed as it was very quiet day and night and generally attractive appearance. Large clean pool near the office. Many tall cottonwood trees provide shade in the summer. Nearest neighboor was about 100 ft. away at my site #409. Easy access to I-44 east or west. There were some cons but compared to the competition - this is a little unadvertised gem on the river in Tulsa. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is an excellent facility in an area where there are not many RV parks of note. While it is listed as a Mobile Home Park there are numerous RV spaces. The spaces are extremely large so big rigs and slide outs should not be an issue. The park is centrally located, more so than the few other parks in the Tulsa area and very convenient to the new Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks Oklahoma, which is just across the river from Tulsa. The managers are very friendly and helpful. The park is easily accessed. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This the asphalt jungle. We were in the spill over lot which is a hop, skip and jump from the main lot. This is an asphalt parking lot with underground utilities that they pull up when needed. We had water, sewer and 50 amp service. They had Wi-Fi but it was impossible to get on. It always timed out before it would connect. We used our AT&T air card with no problems. There are no trees. The parking lot is well lit at night with roving security. Your biggest fear is getting run over by a golf cart. We were here for a horse show. Although it was 105 degrees in the parking lot, the arena was air conditioned. The parking lot was clean but it seems that some people can't follow the rules and pick up after their pets. Doggie dirt was every where. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A little problem if you don't arrive by 4:00 as they close. There are instructions posted to let you park and they will do the paper work in the morning. Lots of room to move around with a big rig (45 ft). As they have many events during the year you stand a good chance to attend what might be going on. We had a horse show and a old car display. The entire RV park is fenced in with 24/7 security. 3 miles off I-44 easy to get to with motorhome and toad. We camped here in a Motorhome.
All construction in the Fairground area has been completed. Campground is basically a clean, blacktop parking lot with full hookups. Sites are tight for 40 ft rigs with slide outs. Unless major events are going on, you should be able to get a site with no one parked on either side. No WiFi service available while we were here. Camp hosts are very nice and accommodating. $35/night is high for a fairground. (We paid $20 at the Springfield, IL fairground). We camped here in a Motorhome.
We would definitely stay at the Expo Square RV Park again. We had visited the park and talked with the hosts several weeks before staying so we knew what to expect in terms of events and amenities. We lived in a neighborhood near the fairgrounds for several years so we knew the neighborhood well. We enjoyed being back in familiar surroundings and were glad to see the fairgrounds prospering. The downside to the prosperity is all the construction on the fairgrounds/county property. The construction work does stop at the end of the day. We stayed 4 nights in a 29 ft. travel trailer and left just as the park was filling up for a world championship horse show. We were in a pull through site and able to park our tow vehicle in the vacant site next to ours. Our site was level and the hook-ups we used (30 amp electricity, water, and sewer) worked well. We did not choose to buy the WiFi service which was $3.95 a day. The facility is very clean. Six separate shower/toilet rooms offer privacy. However, they do get heavy usage. The shower heads and faucets in particular are showing the wear and tear. We agree with the previous reviewers who mention that there is little shade in what is essentially a parking lot with full hook-ups. We also agree that the RV Park is busy and crowded during events such as horse shows and fairs. A schedule of events is available on the park website. For us, this park is an excellent option when we are in Tulsa. It is centrally located and within a quarter mile of restaurants, shopping and events. The hosts were gracious and worked with us on our site assignment. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is part of the Tulsa Fairground complex. Basically a paved parking lot with hookups. No trees or shade. Very convenient when exhibiting or attending events at Expo Square. Office staff very helpful. Back in sites will not allow you to park your vehicle in front of rig because of length. You must park your vehicle in a designated area. Probably more designed for MH's. Kind of tight when full. Designed for max rigs in minimum space. Very bright lighting in the night. Appears to be in a fairly safe neighborhood. I would stay here again if exhibiting or attending events at Expo Square. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Campground is associated with Tulsa Expo Square Fairgrounds. It is centrally located in Tulsa and convenient to all parts of the city. It is a large parking lot type place with little shade. They have trees planted but they haven't grow big enough to provide much shade. We stay here every year when we go visit family in Tulsa. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only drawback is you may be sharing the campground with horse or cattle show people. They do a lot of going and coming to the show arenas, mostly in diesel pickup trucks. Fortunately they do not allow any of the show animals in the RV Park. Price listed is for 50 amp service. 30 amp is $2 less. Sites are not very big. Unless you are on the end of the row or no one is in the next site, your awning will stay rolled up. I always try to get on the end so I can put out the awning. WiFi is purchased from a local company. It costs $18.95 for seven days. I think it was $3.95 for one day. Since we were there for 6 days it was cheaper to get it for the whole week. We will stay here every time we go to Tulsa. We camped here in a Motorhome.
While Mingo is not a 'resort', it is a park with a lot more going for it than some of these reviews say. Yes, there are a lot of full-timers here, but their trailers appeared to be in good repair and roadworthy, so it doesn't detract from the park. Unlike other parks in the Tulsa area, you are not mixed in with Mobile Homes, and the neighbors are friendly and quiet. The concrete in some pads was cracked up, and ours was no exception, but it never impacted us (looked like a bad pour and age rather than neglect). We rolled in after 11P on a Sunday. The person we spoke to when we called earlier that day said she'd leave an information packet for us (they didn't). We called the contact number by the office door and the lady who answered came right up. She was happy to see us (despite the hour) and quickly checked us in. She provided a park map, area guide and WiFi info. She even piloted us to our spot so we could 'pull thru' another spot into ours (the spots are all back-in). We didn't have a "privacy fence" by our space, but we were pretty tightly packed in. That never mattered to us as we spent most of our time out with family and friends in town. There are railroad tracks a mile away, but we barely heard the whistles when we were there. The Tulsa International Airport is a few miles away, but there are very few night flights and aircraft rarely fly overhead. Neither planes, trains nor our neighbors autos woke us up. Water pressure is good, although Tulsa has slightly hard water. Radio & TV reception is great, and cable TV is available. There are trees in the park, but many campers we saw had their dishes out, so they do not disrupt service. The park has a small propane tank on site, so you do not need to go offsite to fill your tanks. The hookups are easy to reach, although the water is not on a riser but in a 'flower pot', buried below the frost line, so we had to use two short hoses to put our filter in line. WiFi is provided through Tengo, so it is throttled at 1Mbps. Passwords are available from the office, and we got one for each of our laptops. Service on our AT&T, Sprint & T-Mo cells was flawless. My AT&T card had 4G LTE service, and a neighbor said that VZW did as well. T-Mo supposedly does, but we didn't have a way of testing it. Sprint currently is building out their LTE network, but only 1/3 of Tulsa was lit up. There is no Clear (WiMAX) service. We camped here in a Motorhome.
LOT'S of full-timers here. We got in late and office was closed. No information packets available and nobody met us even though I called to say we were coming. Fortunately one of the full-timers told us we could go find a spot and pay in the morning. The office staff was friendly, but some of the spaces looked pretty rough. The "privacy fences" between the lots provide no privacy and make the spaces feel small. We will probably try to stay in the Oklahoma City area instead of Tulsa next time through. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The staff was incredible! We are new to RVing and they were extremely helpful. One of the staff members even came into our coach to show us some of the aspects of our entertainment center that we weren't sure how to use. The site didn't have a lot of extra outdoor space, but we were just there for the night so it didn't matter to us. We would stay again while passing through OK. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I made this reservation several months ago and the rate quoted was what was charged. It is a nice, clean park. The office staff is very friendly and the owner was on-site when we checked in. The streets are all paved and in good condition. The grass was all very nicely mowed and landscaping was nice. One nice touch is they have several carvings in trees and totem poles. We had a 20 foot tree on our site that had bears, raccoons, and an eagle and nest carved. Lots of interesting pictures. We only stayed one night but will put this one on our list should we pass through again. Only one negative. There were several campers parked that appeared to be long term that were in disrepair. Other than that, would highly recommend. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Very clean park. Sites are really tight. The saving factor is there is a privacy fence between the sites. Escort to site and explanation of hookups was nice. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
A really nice, well-organized campground with good, helpful, friendly staff. We were here during a tornado threat, and they made sure to let us know exactly what to do if the siren sounded. They also led us to the site and helped with the water hook-up, which was different from the kind we are used to. Every morning there was free coffee and doughnuts in the office, and on Saturday night they had a hamburger cookout and drew tickets for $100 bill give-aways. We would definitely stay here again! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
The only problem with this CG is that the building that houses the bathrooms and laundry is locked from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Since we don't use the facilities in our TT, this was a potential problem; however, they did keep the building open overnight for the four days we were there, which was very accommodating. The bathrooms were spotless and each room was self-contained. The laundry room was clean and spacious. The nicest touch about our lot was the privacy fences between the individual lots. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Since there are VERY FEW choices in Tulsa, this wins by default. First the good: the people are very nice and helpful. The laundry/common area was nicely lighted and clean appearing. Now the not-so-good: 1) location is near the airport and the noise from both commercial and military jets is intrusive; 2) most residents live in what appear to be permanent sites and are somewhat unattractive; 3) Our site was VERY unlevel. it took more leveling than any site in any park in which we've parked thus far; 4) Wi-Fi was brutally slow. The site isn't particularly clean and is primarily gravel and grass. We are staying here while I work in the area but are actively looking for another option. In all likelihood we will not return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Most of the occupants in the park were permanent residents staying in older trailers on postage sized lots. The campground was kept clean, but was unsightly where old trailers had lots of "stuff" sitting around outside. If these yards had been tidy, the whole campground would have taken on a better feel. Management was cordial and helpful and the laundry facilities were fairly new and clean. I've never stayed at a campground with such small lots before . . . even at the beach. We were here for a week while we visited family for Thanksgiving. It's fine for overnight or a short stay where you weren't going to be spending much time at the camper. There aren't many choices right in Tulsa and the ones we saw after we arrived were worse. The WI-FI was S L O W much of the time. Given the current choices in the area, we would stay here again under similar circumstances. We paid $175 for the week with 50 amp service. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a park that is probably 90% "permanent" residents. This is not a NEGATIVE as common sense tells me that if it were not for long term tenants, very few RV parks would survive. That said, all of the sites were kept neat whether they were long term or overnight. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. At check in we told them we would like to stay for a few days and we needed a pull through site. We were guided through the park by a staff member to our parking site by driving through a vacant site. This worked out well for us and was a novel way to deal with the situation of a MH with a toad or a 5'r. The sites themselves are quite narrow with a privacy fence on each side. We had room for our slideout but there was not enough room to extend a canopy. The water, electric, and sewer were all easily accessible. The parking site was firm grass and the roads were all paved. When we checked in they noticed that we had a satellite dish so we were given a site that would allow unobstructed access. The park also has cable TV that worked fine and there were many digital channels available with your crank-up antenna. The WiFi was slow at times. The park has showers and a laundry but they were located at the office and we did not use either. The RV park is located near the interstate and airport but we did not find the noise objectionable. I would have given this park a little higher rating if the parking sites were wider and if they were paved. We plan on staying at this park again on our next visit to Tulsa. We camped here in a Motorhome.
While it looks nice upon entering this is a crowded place with what appears to be mostly full time residents. Sites are gravel/grass and water hookups are below ground. While staff is helpful and bathrooms are clean, it's not a very nice campground. We would not stay here again and can't figure out why Woodall's rates it so highly. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stopped here for an overnight since we were just too tired to keep driving. The campground would have been difficult for us to find without directions, so please call if you are not familiar with the area. The management is very friendly and helpful. Our site was a little narrow due to the privacy fencing, but very level. It was unusual that the water hookup was underground and would be difficult for those with limited mobility to reach down, but I think the staff would gladly help out, if necessary. We would definitely stay here again. The free coffee and donuts in the morning were a plus! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is probably one of the nicest parks we have stayed at. The showers and laundry are tops. They are not far from the Tulsa state fair grounds, flea markets, shopping and dining-you have to eat at Tallys on old Rt 66. The lot we had was big, lots of grass, level site, but was a little hard to back into due to the slope from the road. Very friendly owners and workers. Will stay there when ever in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
With grandchildren in Tulsa, we have stayed here many times. Sites are a bit tight for big rigs, but the staff manages such that most become pull-throughs. Been here both winter and summer and the utilities always worked. Free WiFi is a plus for me. There are many long term units, but the park is well maintained and not junk loaded. Some recent additions to landscaping and carved tree trunks are unique and quite beautiful. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a fairly clean park and everything worked. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only downside for me was there was a large number of FEMA trailers here, that they rented to permanent residents. And while I had zero problems in the two days I was here, I moved on. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Impressive entrance but that's all that was impressive about this campground. Our "pull through" site was just a backin site behind one they keep open so you can pull through it. The water hookup was in a pit in the ground that filled with rain water when it rained. Lots of long term trailers here. Big dips in the roads to worry about bottoming out with the trailer. Don't think we'd stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
My sister lives in Tulsa and despite the poor reviews for this park she had stayed here and advised we also stay here. (I'd asked her to check out Cherry Hill after reading posted reviews and she told us it was an old park with old mobile homes, narrow roads, and in a very poor part of Tulsa). The sites are not wide but there was several feet between us and the privacy fences when we had all 4 slides out but no room for an awning which we did not need. The site was long and level with room to spare after parking our 38 foot MH and car. The laundry room was clean with lots of washers and dryers. There appears to be many "long time" residents here, but the park appears to be well maintained. Should we return to Tulsa we would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The RV park is too crowded. At night time there are no safety lights, and they keep the gates open allowing thieves to do what they want. This is a bad area to stay in. The bad guys will clean you out! Thieves stole my bicycle, gas bottles, and garden chair. There is no safety guard at night to patrol the area. I do not recommend this RV park at all. Stay away! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Sites were too close as we didn't even have room to put the awning out. Restrooms are way to far from the end of the campground sites. Hookups were great. There was way to many permanent sites We camped here in a Motorhome.
Friendly people, easy check in. Only drawback is the rest rooms/ showers were closed from 10pm to 7am. We were camping in a pop up camper which made restroom access difficult, plus it was a long walk to the restrooms, since they only had one location. Otherwise we had no complaints. We would recommend this campground to friends. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
It has a nice playground for kids. Great Cable and Internet service. It has a nice dog park. Staff were very nice and even helped me hook up. It is open all year round which is a bonus. Construction on Mingo Road was horrible. I would stay here again and the price was right. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A nice park in town. The sites were very close together but the pull-throughs were quite long. There many long-term clients but the units seemed to be generally well maintained. Good WIFI and cable. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice park! The Owner/Managers were friendly and courteous. I was there for work reasons and was pleased that they had free ice available in the club house. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in the Tulsa area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a large park with almost all long term people yet, is very accommodating of overnighters. Overnight area had privacy fences between sites. Easy on/off expressway. Excellent laundry and shower facilities. Cable and Wi-Fi included in the price. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Mostly perm. residents. We have a 40' motorhome and were provided a sufficient sized spot for an overnight stay. It had the wooden fences on both sides. This appears to be an older park. We had not problem getting into the site, we were led there by an escort. Wi-fi worked nicely. I would stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Slim pickens for RV parks in this area. This is an older bare-bones, down-home park in the north-eastern part of Tulsa. Beautifully treed, the paved streets are iffy and the sites are dirt/gravel. No picnic tables or grills, our site was too narrow – just a fairly level, full hookup site with 50 amp. Not a straight-forward layout in the park, it seemed that some of the sites were placed as an afterthought making navigation to some of the sites a bit challenging. Thanks to a friendly and experienced escort – all went well. Our site, which was in a pull-through row, was flanked by tall wooden privacy fences – nice touch. Although a bit narrow, the site had ample length to accommodate our 37.5’ 5th wheel and 1-ton dually. Good WiFi, signal available all over the park. There was no apparent traffic, train or jet noise – we were here in Winter, so being closed up helps keep the noise at bay, our assessment on that might be a bit skewed. We only stayed here one night as part of a 4-night whistle-stop jaunt to avoid a serious storm system so we didn’t have a chance to learn much more. We would stay here again – if passing through Tulsa. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Best park on the trip in 2005 - Loved their decor and hookups. Privacy from fences between spaces was super. Very good laundry facilities and Recreation room. Their actual individual bathrooms with toilet, sink and shower were a very pleasant surprise - just like home. Plan to return on next trip through Tulsa. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Smoke filled office, lots of older, untidy rigs. Drive throughs require much manaeuvering through other sies and are very narrow. WiFi near office only. Old motorhome gassed us out when started several times, even setting off gas alarm in our closed trailer at 6 am. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The park is geared toward full timers and most of the units don't appear to be taken care of. We were given a spot between two full timers, with a fence between each unit. The sites are actually quite large. The office was a little hectic but informative. The washrooms were in the main building and ways away from our site. I had to drive there, once there the showers and washroom was clean and large. Over all the campground did not look very nice once you got inside, but for one night it was OK. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Not a lot of choices in the immediate Tulsa, Ok, area. This park is okay. There are some
residents that are full time and do not really take care of their rigs or cars. Lot of permanent residents in the park which is not a bad thing if the park manages the looks which this one does not. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is definitely not a "destination" type park in my opinion. It was OK for an overnight stay and sleep. Not much else in the area we could find. Not well marked at street. When you get off the xway get in the curb lane and be ready to turn pretty soon. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed a month & had one of the sites that have privacy fences on both sides of our Motorhome. These sites were good. Place to park 2 vehicles, They were level, Paved, wide street. You can leave & return easily without going through the whole campground. Didn't have any problems at all. Free donuts & coffee every morning. Will go back, but ask for a site with the privacy fences again. They are the best. Also storm shelter. Cable TV was free. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park has over 200 permanents. the spaces are very narrow where they put overnighters, smokers in office. This is okay for an overnight stop in the area, but that is all. We camped here in a camper.
